DIRECTIONS AS TO HOW TO FIND THE MALT HOUSE (ALVESTON COMMUNITY CENTRE) AND
MARIGOLD COTTAGE.
From M40 & Junction 15 Longbridge Island, Warwick. Come off at junction 15 and take Left turn marked Stow (A429). Go through Barford and on and pass a sign for Wasperton on your right and then you come to right turn for Charlecote. Take this road for Charlecote . Drive on keeping Charlecote Park on your right and over small bridge till you come to cross-roads. Turn right (B4086 Stratford-upon-Avon to Wellesboume Road) and carry on round 2 sharp bends passing the West Gate of Charlecote Park on your right. Carry on and you will climb a rise in the road. Shortly after this you will see the sign marked Alveston 1/4 to your right. Take this turning (Kissing Tree Lane) and take 2"d right (Ferry Lane). The Ferry Inn will be on the right at the bottom of this short road, Turn left now (The Green) and go on, passing a road to your left and a few yards ahead will be The Malt House, Alveston Community Centre. Park in front or alongside The Green.
NOTE: Marigold Cottage is situated at the Green - linked properties sharing a Yew Hedge in front. The sign is on the wall. Park alongside The Green. Use the side entrance .

(A) From Stratford-upon-Avon: (Approx 2 � miles). From the town take the Warwick Road (A439) and go round the gyratory - keep to your right on the Warwick Road (one way system) and once on the gyratory filter to the left and you will see ahead the sign for Oxford. Following it, go over the river bridge and turn immediately left � Tiddington Road (B 40 8 6: Stratford- Wellesbourne). It runs parallel to the river to begin with. Go through the village of Tiddington .Go on passing Alveston Lane to your left at the War Memorial and pass the YHA and another road to your left until you come to the signpost Alveston � - take this road on your left and then as described above! For those coming from Banbury (Banbury Road), and Oxford & Cheltenham (Shipston Road ) - go towards town but not over river bridge, so just before - go over to a right hand lane & turn into small filter road opposite The Swans Nest Hotel - there is a Gazebo on the island. Look for traffic from the left over the bridge then straight ahead into the Tiddington Road.
(C) From Birmingham (A3400) Before you reach the town borders you came to an island. Left would be to Warwick and M40, but drive straight on, you will se town sign on your left. Drive on and you see Tesco on your left - carry on at island and traffic lights, passing another island into Guild Street. Drive on and at bottom of that road � ahead will be the Red Lion Pub/Restaurant. Turn left into one way system of Warwick Road and them move over to your right (Keep an eye open for traffic from the right) Turn right into gyratory and filter into left lane and now you go on as described in (B)
(D) From Worcestor, Evesham (&M5 J9 Tewkesbury) Take the Evesham bypass and drive towards Alcester (approx 10m) but at island before you reach Alcester, take right turn for Stratford-upon-Avon (A46). At approx 8 miles you come an island (Left is for Warwick and M40) but carry straight on. Pass the town notice on your left and two traffic light sets. Now shortly to your left will be Tesco and an island, Go straight on and pass traffic lights into Guild Street just after another island. Carry on as described in (C)
