Pacific National Exhibition (Sept. 6, 1998)
Review and setlist by Patrick Jacobson

It's a short list, but it was a good show. Two new songs I hadn't heard before! Actually, not true. Kevin used to play one of them at his solo shows. Well anyways, here's the list...

1) All The Things I Wasn't
2) What Was Going Through My Head
3) Do You Want To Tell Me?
4) You May Be Right
5) 18
6) Goat
7) Peace Of Mind
8) Like A Fool (formerly "I Don't Need You")
9) Away
10) Stay
11) Misunderstanding
12) I Am Here

"Begin" and "Black Eye" were listed as extra tunes on the setlist, but they weren't played. Maybe next time. I don't know what "Begin" is. "18" and "Goat" are new songs. I don't know if those are really the titles... that's just what was written on the setlist.

The show was good, but short. There was no encore because they had a time limit on their set. I guess they had to finish before the fireworks started. Lot's of older material was played this time, and the crowd really seemed to enjoy it, although, some of the new songs actually got better responses! The new songs sounded really sharp, and I'm starting to enjoy them even more than some of the classics. Kevin managed to break strings on his Telecaster and on his Rickenbacker, so he played everything else on his Les Paul.
