| Ticket to The Moon *~* I've bought a one-way ticket To fly up to the Moon I've had enough of life on Earth So I'm leaving very soon My bags are packed, I've said goodbye To everyone that cares: The Milkman, The Postman, the cat next door And all my Teddy Bears! *~* I can't see the point of coming back So I don't think that I will I don't think they'll even notice I've gone... That makes me sad...but still When I get up there on the Moon, Maybe my life will change! I'll make friends with aliens And they won't look at me strange! *~* I'm going now, the time has come For me to sadly leave I turn and look just one last time And wipe my tears on my sleeve I step into the Shuttle And prepare myself to fly Then watch the Earth disappear As we lift off up to the sky! *~* ~Sani~ |
