The Hidden Garden

I chanced upon a Garden, hidden beneath the tree's.
With walls all Green and mossy and a door you could hardly see
I cautiously turned it's key, and entered with trembling hands
Then ventured upon a journey, deep into it's Wilderness land

I looked around with wonder, at all the beautifull plants
And spied a pretty Bluebird charming me with it's dance
Beneath my feet was apath, showing me the way
To the place where thousands of Bluebells like a carpet lay

Then on beyond the tree's to a lily-pad covered pond
The path enticed me still further, to a footbridge and deeper on
I carried on excited by all the wonderful sights
Was amazed by the rambling of Roses and admired their dizzy heights

Then reaching a wooden seat placed at Gardens end
I sat to enjoy their perfume, joined by my Bluebird friend
We sat for quite a while before heading towards the door
And as I left, I turned and smiled, knowing I'd be back for more
