| All Dressed Up! ~~~ When I was little, I'd get dressed up, in some of Mum's old clothes I'd wear a crown, and pretend to be, the Queen in her Royal velvet robes I'd carefully totter around in shoes with great big heels Then I'd put on all Mum's make-up, and enjoy the way it feels ~~~ With bright Pink blushered cheeks and great big Ruby lips I put on Mum's best silky dress, and walk with a 'swing in my hips!' Then with a large hat upon my head decorated with a feather a handbag and some lovely Red gloves, to bring the whole outfit together ~~~ When friends came over, we'd all dance around, together in the hall With Beautiful gowns and glittering beads, we'd pretend we were at the Ball! I'd feel just like a Fairy Princess as around the hall I'd sway Until found by Mum, who'd watch with a smile as we'd put it all away. ~~~ ~Sani~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
