On February 18th, 2004, the Tea Cup Girls met for the first time in the cottage behind our house! We had our doll, Kit, Molly and Kirsten, set up on the bar along with the respective "Meet" books. We also had their matching paper dolls on the bar.
This table held the refreshments on my sister's Blue Willow China. We used Molly as the theme, with brownies and PB&J sandwiches.
On the piano, we set up the paper dolls for Samantha and Addy. We don't have those two dolls yet, and no one in our club has Addy. Yet!
After everyone introduced themselves and told why they picked their doll, we moved on to the craft time. We did the little sachets from Felicity's craft book. All of the girls finished their sachet that afternoon. I did mine with the tiny stitches that Felicity had to use, and they all remarked that they could see why Felicity hates sewing!
After the meeting was over, Elizabeth and I got out all of our doll clothes for the girls to see. We both have a lot of clothes that were made by our grandmothers, and very few clothes from The Pleasant Company.
