In the first eight years our focus was on hands-on ways to help the Christian churches of Albania get started and rooted. As such we were involved in
* starting new churches where there were none\
* organizing outreaches
* delivering relief supplies
* helping development projects
* facilitating short-term teams
In the following five years we've been used more to direct and motivate the broader work through roles like:
* mentoring Albanian leaders
* teaching at Bible schools regionally
* directing YWAM in Albania
* directing the AEP, an umbrella organization bringing together 80 ministries in Albania
* serving on the board of groups like VUSh - the Evangelical Alliance of Albania
* consulting for groups like World Vision
* chairing a forum dedicated to helping Albanians go out as missionaries to other countries
* helping found a Christian think tank - the Qiriazi Institute
* performing arts ministry
* worship ministry
Since 2004 their collection of ways to bless Albania has taken a new turn: They've started finding ways to inspire Albanians to get involved in the marketplace - using their God-given skills to bless in the workplace. Carina has been teaching at her Embassy, and Grant has started a real estate company (www.vista.al). These recent additions have enabled them to reach out into society in new ways, and also to inspire and empower the Albanian believers to step out in similar ways.
