"Implementing IDEA: A Guide for Principals" Recent Publication (March 2001) This is an excellent resource to provide guidance on ensuring quality special education services and early interventions to building principals in elementary and middle school schools.  NAESP, IDEA Partnerships Administrators Project, IDEAs that Work Project (OSEP), and the Council for Exceptional Children- ILIAD Project, jointly collaborated to develop this product.  The document is organized around the same categories indentified in the general standards for quality elementary and middle schools.

National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY)
NICHCY is the national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals.  A special focus is children and youth (birth to age 22).
