Impromtu speaking

  1. Define purpose (inform, persuade, amuse)
    stop, stay cool
get your goal clearly in focus by defining your viewpoint
    **open strongly**
remember: if you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.

speaking about personal experience will give you confidence
helps you to be clear and convincing
**just tell a story** a specific event
    when
    why
    where
    what happened
    who was involved
    how it happened

  3. Conclude
    Summarize by restating
    Your overall purpose
And/or your main points or beliefs
    **close strongly**
