College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP)

We are a federally funded program that provides educational assistance to students who have migrant or seasonal agriculture work in their family histories. We provide financial assistance and support services to first-year students. Our goal is to prepare you to continue your education.


What services do we provide?

  • Study Skills courses

  • Career counseling
  • Personal counseling
  • A quarterly book allowance
  • A monthly stipend


Who is eligible to participate?

You must have a high school diploma or GED. You should have a personal or family history of at least 75 days of employment as a migrant of seasonal farm worker in the past 24 months. You or your family must also demonstrate financial need according to federal income guidelines.

Once you are accepted into the program you must enroll in at least 12 credit hours per term, including courses designed for CAMP students. A minimum 2.75 GPA is required to remain in the program. Students are also expected to participate in counseling, advising, tutoring services, and social/cultural events as specified in the CAMP contract.
