THE EYE KNOWS

Grant's Blog

For the tens of thousands of readers who flooded my inbox with guesses as to what was missing from the "ER Visits in Texas" story, some of you got it. However, it had nothing to do with Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky or our illustrious new president Barack Inssein Obama (however indirectly it did).

The story was written to foment anger and hatred at the medical profession. It did do that, but the real reason for the story was to set the stage for "state run health care". The missing detail was "ethnicity". They couldn't very well say if these people were of a "minority" group or, heaven forbid, illegal aliens. With all the details given in the story, they side stepped the issue of telling us WHO those 9 people were. It's not like they had to run through voluminous names from thousands of megabytes of data base entries, there were only 9 names. Had they done so and the facts revealed themselves, the story would have had the opposite affect. The desired anger of the sheep then would be misdirected at the wrong thing. Doncha just love our free press?

He was tired

You can bet your sweet bippy that the tired excuse will not be used in this story.
Analysis: Hillary warned there'd be days like this; Apr 8, 2009; By STEVEN R. HURST; AP/MyWay.com
You have to wonder if the Broomer doesn't relish this sort of thing. Just as her philandering husband wished, "why didn't this happen on my watch?". It isn't her watch, but she is the Secretary of State.
For the second time in four days and with less than three months in office, President Barack Obama has received the "3 a.m. phone call" that Clinton warned about. In their bitter presidential contest, Clinton suggested that her young rival was not ready for a national security crisis.
DingleBarry hasn't even been given the chance to react and the BroomRider climbs on his case.
His tests are coming early: first from the borderline rogue government in North Korea, then from stateless bandits preying on shipping lanes off the East African coast.
You sorta hope that Broomer doesn't give her BillieBob's solution to all problems -- "Talk big with a big stick but save that big stick for the ladies".
Those calls presaged what surely will be many more middle-of-the-night wake-ups for Obama as he battles a scourge of stateless brigands and terrorists operating with near impunity across an increasingly interconnected globe. His response to the early crises are being watched for signals of how he confronts enemies who operate outside the old rule book of international relations.
... and rest assured, Broom Hillary will make sure he knows it...
Through the day Wednesday, the White House was mostly silent on the pirates, leaving the talking to military officials more closely involved in whatever operations might be planned. Obama was updated on the incident throughout the day, first in his daily security briefing and then in updates from the White House Situation Room. The president himself made no public comment.
Can I translate this for you? There was no operational teleprompter on Air Force 1.
"The president is following the situation closely," said Denis McDonough, a top Obama security adviser, who noted the administration had "watched with alarm the increasing threat of piracy."
Let me interject a second translation here, "Someone is setting up the teleprompter".
Upon returning from his first European trip Wednesday - at about 3 a.m. - he got word that a U.S.-flagged cargo ship was in the hands of Somali pirates. The seafaring hostage takers were holding a 20-member crew, all Americans. Historians said it was the first time in 200 years pirates had taken control of an American-flagged vessel.
This will be the last translation, I promise, "How the hell can we blame this on George Bush?"
The U.S. was expecting that news and Clinton, now Obama's top diplomat who no longer hawks the 3 a.m. campaign line, was traveling with the president. She worked the phones, and Obama issued the expected words of condemnation. Calls went out for the U.N. Security Council to convene.
Sleep well Berry, the Broomer is on it. She is experienced in handling 3 a.m. calls. Ask Billie-bob, they were about him.
