game I came up with after seeing some news
items. I will put up the headline and maybe a paragraph and then I will HIT it with a comment or two and run onto the next article. Hope you like it.

The senator was asked a question from a Politico.com reader in Santa Monica, Calif., who was seeking assurance that "no new business or personal scandal involving Bill Clinton" could erupt if she were in the White House and give fodder to Republicans.
"You know, I can assure this reader that that is not going to happen," she said. "You know, none of us can predict the future, no matter who we are and what we are running for, but I am very confident that that will not happen."
If this weren't so serious, it would be great comedy. I can see the DNC convention and their party platform being developed -- "If elected, no new scandals from Billie-bob." However did you see the real problem with the question? I am not in to conspiracy theories, normally. However I really see CONSPIRACY here. Definitely a right wing questioner here. What's the problem Eye? You are such a jerk!! No really, take a look where that question came from. It's a plant question -- Santa MONICA??? Must be Karl Rove's idea.

At a campaign stop in Miami last month, the Arizona senator told anti-Castro exiles that American POWs held with him in Hanoi were tortured by "a couple of Cubans."
"His accusation against the Cuban revolutionaries ... are completely unethical," Castro wrote in an article published by the ruling Communist Party newspaper Granma.
Fido knows everthing there is to know about ethics (coff, coff, spew, spit, spew). Too bad Fido is on his last breath, or he would have a chance to be posted to head up the UN's committee on Human Rights.

President Hugo Chavez on Sunday threatened to cut off oil sales to the United States in an "economic war" if Exxon Mobil Corp. wins court judgments to seize billions of dollars in Venezuelan assets.
"If you end up freezing (Venezuelan assets) and it harms us, we're going to harm you," Chavez said during his weekly radio and television program, "Hello, President." "Do you know how? We aren't going to send oil to the United States. Take note, Mr. Bush, Mr. Danger."
Let's see now. If Hugo there has all his assets and money frozen reducing him to a pauper, he is going to stop his only way of saving himself, his regime and his country? He must have attended the U.S. public school system. Only then could someone come up with an idea like that!

Congress on Wednesday moved to prohibit the CIA from using waterboarding and other harsh interrogation methods on terror suspects, despite President Bush's threat to veto any measure that limits the agency's interrogation techniques.
The House had approved the measure in December. Wednesday's Senate vote set up a confrontation with the White House, where Bush has promised to veto any bill that restricts CIA questioning.
Arguing for such restrictions, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., said the use of harsh tactics would boomerang on the United States.
I like this guy Rockefeller. He says it like it is. Have no idea what more boomerang effect waterboarding could have on us though. The enemy already employs their own torturous tactics -- like beheading. Once your head is gone, what other tortures are they going to employ? Take away your shower privileges?
