It was fun playing "Whatever Happened". I could play that everyday with liberals. They are on the wrong side of everything. I guess I will pick on something else this week. Let's get on with it.
What else can you say about the mass media?
The liberal media proverb when there's a republican in office can be best summed up by Outside every silver lining, there's a dark cloud.
Report: More Jobs, But More
Unemployment
Payroll Rises In September, But Jobless Rate
Still Rose 4.7 Percent; Oct. 5, 2007;
CBSNews.com
See what I mean by the dark cloud?
Job creation picked up in September but
not
enough to stop the unemployment rate from
rising to 4.7 percent, the highest in just over
a year.
The new job market snapshot released by the
Labor Department on Friday showed that
employers boosted payrolls by 110,000, the
most in one month since last May. In an
encouraging note, the economy actually
added 89,000 jobs in August. That marked an
improvement from the net loss of 4,000 that
the government first estimated.
Can I point out the idiocy of this story? How can an increase in the number of people working cause unemployment to go up?
The bump up in the unemployment rate
from 4.6 percent in August came as hundreds
of thousands of people streamed back into
the labor market. That new rate of 4.7
percent was the highest since the summer of
2006.
I guess that is the reason for it, but I really think there is more to this than meets the eye.
Wages, meanwhile, rose
solidly.
So all of a sudden, a huge pool of workers enter the market. The question is, why(?). Can I offer a reason for this?
To me it is very simple. The only way unemployment could possibly rise when more people are working is for more people to enter the workforce. So miraculously why did more people enter the workforce? Their unemployment benefits ran out. So these people on the dole had to get off their duffs. The problem is now that I nailed the reason, some liberal will undoubtedly jump on this and propose to increase the unemployment benefits by another 18 months. It's the liberal way to sneak in another tax increase.
I'm sure you know Algore...
Kim Jong Il: I'm an Internet Expert; October 5, 2007; AP/Yahoonews.com
Since Algore invented the internet, the first login to his famous invention was probably the little dog-eater from North Korea.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Il called
himself an "Internet expert" during summit
talks with South Korea's president this week,
a news report said Friday.
The reclusive leader made the remark after
South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun asked
that South Korean companies operating at an
industrial park in the North Korean city of
Kaesong be allowed to use the Internet,
Yonhap news agency reported, without citing
any source.
It is a fact that Lassie-eater is hooked on pornography, so it really doesn't surprise me about his internet surfing skills in that area. However, do you think Rin Tin Tin-eater there will allow his populace to have access to the truth?
"I'm an Internet expert too. It's all right to
wire the industrial zone only, but there are
many problems if other regions of the North
are wired," Kim told Roh, according to
Yonhap.
I guess there would be a problem. Ol' Tramp-biter there has his people convinced that starvation problems in the rest of the world is worse than that of North Korea. Should they find out they've been lied to, they might overthrow ol' Benji-eater.
Kim reportedly asked former Secretary of
State Madeleine Albright for her e-mail
address when she visited Pyongyang in 2000.
A North Korean general cracked a joke about
President Bush during high-level military talks
with the South earlier this year, saying he
read it on the Internet.
(shudder) You have to wonder why ol' Purina Dog Chow-man there wants that. I think I have the answer. You`ll never find a bigger dog than that. (shudder)
A slam against America's truth detector
Of all the people to charge about disrespecting the American military, the liberals totally blew this one.
Republicans rule radio but Democrats fight
back; Oct 5, 2007; Reuters
As if the dems haven't been fighting talk radio. They instituted the fairness doctrine in the 80s. They have been trying to shut them down for years.
Democrats are targeting both Limbaugh
and
O'Reilly, charging the right-leaning radio hosts
have crossed the line with recent comments
about anti-war soldiers and blacks.
Both controversies were stoked by reporting
on liberal Web sites, most notably on
mediamatters.org, before politicians stepped
into the fray. On Friday, dailykos.com
continued to post about Limbaugh, while
huffingtonpost.com linked to Media Matters,
which offered readers a link to contact their
local radio stations to complain about the
conservative host.
There probably isn't anyone in America who has supported and done more publicly and privately for the US military than Rush Limbaugh. The above paragraph says it all. The mass-media misreports everything and spins the truth on all conservative ideals, so why wouldn't liberal blogs? They totally took Limbaugh out of context and tried to smear him with a lie. You can't tell the bloggers from organized media any more.
This week, 41 congressional Democrats
wrote
to Limbaugh's syndicator to complain about
him while another authored a resolution
condemning the host.
Analysts said the early offensive against the
radio hosts, who appeal more to ordinary
Americans than Washington political elites, is a
sign that Democrats are ready to respond to
conservative media critics after years of tepid
defense.
Free speech only applies to liberals I guess. How can congress issue condemnation on a constitutional privilege? Worse yet, how can they condemn the truth, because that is just what they've done with their resolution.
"I think Democrats shouldn't be so
concerned about Rush," Harrison said. "No
individual host has the power to sway an
election that's not very close or to hurt a
candidate that is strong. The Democrats can
counter the power of conservative talk radio
by having good Democratic politicians."
Not so fast there Harrison, Rush has 20 million listeners. Do the numbers, but do them a little better than the idiots in the first article. Roughly a hundred million people voted in the `06 elections. If 20%, representing Rush's audience, can't sway an election, I'll kiss your ass on the White House steps and give you an hour to draw a crowd.
