And I'm right back in your face. Stole that from a chant from one of the gay marches held a few years back. "We're here, we're queer and we're in your face!!" Guess I'm here and in your face. Two out of three ain't that bad. Speaking of here and queer, let's look at the news.

I will debate anywhere, any time, any place. . .

Remember how the democrats used to challenge everyone and anyone to a debate anywhere and any time? Things haven't changed too much, but. . .

Presidential Candidates In First Ever Gay Debate; by 365Gay.com; Newscenter Staff; July 10, 2007
. . . but they have changed.

(Los Angeles, California) For the first time the leading candidates for the presidency will hold a televised debate devoted solely to LGBT issues. The one-hour event will be held on August 9 and broadcast on gay network LOGO at 9:00 pm ET (6:00 pm PT) and through live streaming video at LOGOonline.com.
Don't you just love this? Edwards, Broom Hillary, and Obama as well as the rest of the democrat candidates REFUSED to debate on the FoxNewsChannel. They cited possible unfair questions. You sort of have to wonder if the questions from these people will be fair. I would think they might be just a bit biased (waving handerchief).

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards have confirmed they will participate. Several other Democratic candidates also may join the debate.

The debate will be conducted with a live audience in Los Angeles. On the panel questioning the two Democrats will be Human Rights Campaign president Joe Solmonese and singer Melissa Etheridge.
The more the merrier, right? Shall we steal a line from the ol' Flintstones theme song. "We'll have a gay ol' time."

"In the 2008 presidential election, issues of concern to the LGBT community have already been at the forefront of the national conversation," said Solmonese.

"From the repeal of "Don't ask, Don't Tell" to the recent signing of a civil unions bill in New Hampshire, there is no doubt that voters will demand answers to important questions affecting our community."
Wish they would put it to the voters, because every time it's tried, it fails.

The panelists in a statement said they plan to cover a range of issues including relationship recognition, marriage equality, workplace fairness, the military, hate crimes, HIV/AIDS and other important issues. The LGBT vote is considered a decisive electoral force and according to exit poll data make up approximately 4 percent of the voting population.
Yep, important issues all right. Only thing missing in the debate arenas so far is a debate on the Animal Sex Channel. This group very well might make up a huge voting block, except Lassie needs a new photo ID. She ate her old one. Rest assured, the democrats will be out to get their vote as well. (Woof Woof)

And more of that serious Global Warming

You can toggle back through the last few weeks of commentaries and see the global warming news. I just want to post one more because of the recent Live Earth concert on the dangers of global warming.

Buenos Aires sees rare snowfall, BBCnews.co.uk; Tuesday, 10 July 2007
Global warming issues just won't go away. Every time these alarmist open their mouths, something happens to lend it credibility.

Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires, has seen snow for the first time in 89 years, as a cold snap continues to grip several South American nations.
To be fair, I understand the snow was actually warm (rolling eyes).

Temperatures plunged to -22C (-8F) in parts of Argentina's province of Rio Negro, while snow fell on Buenos Aires for several hours on Monday.
Now that is some serious warming!

Bitterly cold weather in May caused some 20 deaths and forced the Argentine authorities to ration supplies as the country's energy system came under strain.
Anyone want to go down to Argentina and warn them that it's getting hotter and hotter? I'd sure hate for anyone to get heat stroke in sub zero temperatures.

What about. . . ???

I am adding a new feature to the commentary called "What About..?". Every so often (like everyday) the mass media goes in "one direction" mode and continue denigrating a certain group of people. Either it's the military, or "angry white males" or Christians or those in a particular political group. Like the following:
Senator Caught In "D.C. Madam" Scandal G Louisiana Republican David Vitter Apologizes For 'Very Serious Sin' In His Past; July 10, 2007

"D.C. Madam" Apologizes For Outing ClientG Woman Who Allegedly Ran Escort Service Apologizes For Naming Ex-State Dept. Official As ClientGApr 30, 2007
Both stories appeared on the CBSnews.com website July 10th. Note that one article happened in April, but CBS chose to remind of us of the event.

Anyone see anything strange here? There you go again Eye, trying to find a dark cloud. This DC madam has been running this escort service for 13 years and look at the reporting. Come on Eye, you are such a Republican aplogist. No I'm not really. What's wrong is wrong, on either side of the aisle. However there is a problem here. What is then Eye? Just what the hell is it??

So it begs the question What about. . .? Well, what about the democrats? After 13 years and $2 million in revenue generated by this DC madam, there are only 2 people being reported on, both happen to be Republicans. I find it a little hard to believe there were/are no democrats in the list. Keep an eye on this, but don't hold your breath on seeing any Democrats being outed. Wanna know something else a little strange. ONLY 2 Republicans? That's it. Don't you think if there were more the list would have outed each and every one of them? Anyone want to make book on which party dominates the list?
