We all have to cross bridges
along our journeys.
Some bridges are longer
or wider than others.
Some bridges require more
thought and strength
than others.
Some bridges you can just
run across without cares
of the world to hold you
back.
Sometimes bridges require
help crossing - help from
others who have crossed
them before.
This bridge was about safety,
comfort, and medication
management, lots of very
scary, hard therapy work on
memories, the past, present
and the future.
On the other side of this
bridge we hope to find a
more peacefulness about
life, more safety within and
without, comfort for when
things get a little scary or
rough.
It’s ok to fear obstacles
we may face while
trying to cross this
bridge - it’s ok if there is a little
snag here or there - snags
can make us stronger and
help us face the obstacles
more readily and with a
deeper confidence in ourselves.
