I got your card the other day,
I just wanted to say Thank You
for sending good thoughts my way.

It’s nice to know there are people who care,
when I can’t find care for myself anywhere.
Inside I look, nothing,
 emptiness is all I find.
You look at me and can see I am kind.

I wish I could see all the things
you say are there,
Kindness, Caring and Love.
Why can’t I find them inside,
I search far and wide.

Thank you for caring,
When I couldn’t care about me.
