What
Color Is Love?
She asked her
father,"What color is love?",
For so long I've wanted to know;
It seems to be different for everyone,
No matter where I go.
He searched his heart for an answer true,
In words the child understood,
So he summoned a prayer for wisdom from God,
And then he knew that he could.

He said, "My child, the color of love,
Is what a person's eyes see,
No matter who you look upon,
That's what color love can be."

Love does not change from place to place,
But what is in one's heart,
May not always show the color of love,
And keep our lives apart.
For there is no difference in what God saw,
When He sent His Son from above,
For each and every person you see,
Is a part of God's rainbow of love.
