Turn
Around

Where
are you going my little one, little one?
Where are you going my baby, my own?
Turn around and you're two
Turn around and you're four
Turn around and you're a young girl
Going out of the door.
(chorus)
Turn around
Turn around
Turn around and you're a young girl
Going out of the door.
Where
are you going my little one, little one?
Little Dirndls and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turn around and you're tiny
Turn around and you're grown!
Turn around and you're a young wife
With babes of your own.
Turn
around
Turn around
Turn around and you're a young wife
With babes of your own
Where are you going my little one, little one?
Where are you going my baby, my own?
Turn around and you're two
Turn around and you're four
Turn around and you're a young girl
Going out of the door

(chorus)
Turn around
Turn around
Turn around and you're a young girl
Going out of the door.

My Little
Girl
I remember when you
were my little girl ~
As much a part of me as my right arm,
My every breath and step held you in mind.
Suddenly, one morning ~
You
were
grown!
I was not finished with you,
But we must love our children enough
To let them go ~
And I did.
But in my heart, you will always be.....
My Little Girl.
~ J. Whitman ~

Jeannie, your mama cried
while making this. Time has gone by too fast. Seems like it was only yesterday that
I was putting ribbons on your pig-tails. I miss those days. But you have your own family
now. You have given us the son we never had, and those beautiful precious grandsons. But,
in my heart you will always be my little girl. I love you, Sweetheart!
