Taken over 31 years ago.

If I could only keep
one perfect moment
in our life together tucked away,
forever safe in memory,
which moment would it be?
Perhaps it would be the first time
your lips touched mine.
Though it seems like
a million kisses ago,
the sweetness of it
lingers in my heart even now.

Perhaps it would
be the magical moment
when we gazed
into one another's eyes,
and said, "I do."
These two little words
changed my life
in so many wondrous ways.

We have shared
so many days and nights
of love and passion
that I could never choose
just one above all others.
And today,
as I celebrate being married to you,
I can't help thinking that maybe,
just maybe,
the most perfect moment of all
is yet to come.

Happy Anniversary, Darling! Shall we make it another 31 years? :o)
