Come, sit ON HER PORCH, swing in her swing or sit in one of her rockers... Let's chat, while drinking a cuppa coffee or a glass of tea or cola... reminisce of days gone by, the good times and even the not so good times, while watching the birds and hummingbirds fly by. Good place to plan that flowerbed. :)
Want a recipe or share one? Grandma likes to keep a BIG recipe file. You will probably find her IN THE KITCHEN. Let's go sit AROUND HER TABLE. She just may have some cookies in her cookie jar. :) She likes to share ideas, hints, tips, too.
Now, Grandma loves her rocker. After the day has come to a close and too late to sit outside ...you just may find her IN HER LIVING ROOM rockin' away in that rocker built just for her ...waiting to hear about your day and what's on your mind.
Oh, she loves to hear about those kiddos. She's a good listener, too. She may even have something to say if ya want.
(Grandpa is in his recliner fast asleep.. he is tired and all you have to do is turn on the tv and he's asleep. lol. Sometimes she might wake him up to get his input.)
Grandma has some strong shoulders... need to vent... cry... laugh? She will even pray with you if ya want.
Than, again she may need your shoulders, too. Let's give support and encouragement to each other.
