Welcome to the new online pages of
The Talbot Twitterer
Well what a quiet season so far. It's May Bank holiday and no battle. Hmm

Lets have a recap on 2001 so far.

Whitehall was it's usual apart from my camp bed deciding at 0400 hrs that I was to be woken up by splitting it's side. The stitches decided to break one by one which was making a horrendous noise like wot men do when they want to make space around themselves. So I had to roll of it ever so easy, so as not to split more stitches, and ended up sleepinh on the floor.

March saw Cheriton. Due to the F & M there was no march this year. Just a enjoyable get together with Hoppies in the Flowerpots. I arrived with Jenny N and found I had my tent, I had my tent pegs but I didn't have my tent poles!! Max arrived with his brand new tent. After we helped him put it up Dave & I moved in as squatters. Poor old Max he had a new tent and before he moved in he already had squatters. Still it has a nice big awning and I did cook breakies for Max,

Next day instead of a march up that long hill it was a run up the short hill called the field behind the pub. Then it was a slow march back down it putting on our fierce faces for the TV camera. Yep it was Luvvie Time again. Meridian TV is doing a programme on villages and their pasts and Cheriton is one of them. They just wanted a few action shots for background. Hoppies against the rest. Lots of blood painted on hands and faces.

Lots of Tabloids have been on the move. First Jen & Steve to dashing  Dorset, then the Twins to rosy Redhill and now the Quinns to noisy Norfolk. (well not noisy really but couldn't think of a 'n' to fit)  Who's next then?

Sorry it's not very clear but can you spot who is who?
