(12 dc) Rnd 2: Working in front loops for this round only, ch 3, dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in each remaining st around. Join. with a sl st in top of beg. ch 3. (24 dc) Rnd 3 (Heart shaping): Ch 2, 2 dc in next dc, 2 trc in next dc, 3 dtrc in next dc, 2 trc in next dc, dc in next dc, hdc in each on next 6 dc, in next dc work (dc, trc, dc), hdc in each of next 6 dc, dc in next dc, 2 trc in next dc, 3 dtrc in next dc, 2 trc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 2, join with a sl st in same sp as beg ch 2. Fasten off. Rnd 4 (Square shaping): Rejoin white with a sl st into first unworked back loop of Rnd 1. Rnd 5: Join pink in same sp as joining of Rnd 4. Work beg. V-st in same sp as joining, * sk next dc, work V-st in next dc; rep from * around, sk last st, join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 4 of beg. V-st. (12 V-sts) Rnd 6: Sl st into center of beg.
