| Designed by Melanie Stiles Copyright March 2001 Finished size - 7 inches Materials: Small amount of worsted weight yarn in your favorite varigated shade, size G crochet hook. Ch 5, join with a sl st to form a ring. Ron 1: Ch 1, work 12 sc in ring. DO NOT JOIN! Work in a continuous spiral in back loops only, marking beginning of each round with a safety pin. Rnd 2: * 3 sc in first sc, sc in next 2 sc; repeat from * 3 times more. Rnd 3: Sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc, * sc in next 4 sc, 3 sc in next sc; rep from * twice more, 3 sc in next sc, sc in last 3 sc. Rnds 4 - 13: * Sc in each sc to next corner, 3 sc in corner,; 4 times. At end of rnd 13, sc in each sc to next corner, sl st in both loops of corner. Finish off and weave in ends. |
