| Hi! Thank you for your interest in the GrannieGroup! Here are our guidelines for you to look over. |
| 1. The GrannieGroup exchanges squares 6 times a year, every other month: January, March, May, July, September, & November. 2. The GrannieGroup exchanges 12 inch squares made with worsted weight yarn. 3. Each exchane month you will be placed in a group of 3 persons. 4. Each group member will crochet one 12-inch squares for each person in the group 2 total that must be mailed. 5. Each year will have a "theme", such as floral squares,etc. Please make squares that fit in the theme. 6. Squares must be sent out no later than the last day of the exchange month. (Remember, everyone who sends squares to you deserves to receive them in return) 7. Be sure to email "thank yous" to everyone who sends you squares. 8. Feel free to contact me with any problems, questions, or suggestions you might have. 9. Due to an increase in "bad swappers" all members must sendd a JIC (just in case) puffy to the list mom before they may participat n an exchange. This JIC puffy must contain: 2 12-inch granny squares 2 9x6 or larger manilla envelopes $3 for postage This puffy will be used only in the event that you cannot complete an exchange. Should you choose to leave the GrannieGroup in good standing the JIC puffy will be returned to you. Information on where to send your JIC puffy will be given to you when you sign up. PLEASE NOTE: GrannieGroup is designed for dedicated and committed crocheters, but not necessarily experts. The purpose is to make friends and promote the craft of crochet. Crocheters of ALL skill levels are welcome, so be prepared to receive squares of varying levels of difficulty! |
