*On September 11th 2001
terrorists attacked all the peoples of the world, by hijacking American planes and crashing them into the World Trade Center,New York City and the Pentagon in Washington.

Although this terrible event happened in the United States, and thousands of American citizens were killed, I would like us also to remember the nameless people, from all over the world, whose lives were also taken away from them.

This was a crime against ALL MANKIND,and nothing can excuse it.

It is Wednesday 19th of September, here in Australia. On the radio I have just heard the announcer say this is the biggest peace time disaster in our history. The horror of it has just been brought home to us by an interview with the twin brother of a young Australian who died. He explained how he had just received an E-mail from his brothers work collegue. He heard and saw the tower hit, so rang his friend to find out if he was OK. When the phone answered, the young man was climbing the stairs to the roof of tower 2, the conversation continued through all the horror, until the young man and the others on the roof, were over come with smoke and died, at least they knew nothing of the collapse of the tower.. When I heard this, I cried for the senseless destruction of life, none of these people deserved to die like that.
