| Welcome to my "Aussie" Halloween Page. In Australia, halloween does not have a very big profile,BUT some of us who have lived overseas love it! |
| This page has been made for the enjoyment of my precious Grand Daughter India, and her little friends. [Hi, Zack] If you are looking for anything really scarry you won't find it here, because fear and 2 year olds do not mix. |

| If you are going to have a "fun Halloween" you must have a bag to collect your "treats in. It can be a brown paper bag like this, or a lovely orange pumpkin bag like Indie's. |

| Here are some children all dressed up to go and have fun, see their "treat" bags. I am sure they will come home with lots of lovely things in them. A costume of some sort is most important, it does not have to be elaborate, you just need to feel "special" in it! |

| Of course you can not cellebrate Halloween with out pumpkins. In Australia we do not have the big orange sort, only grey!! I use plastic milk cartons with the top cut off. I cover them with orange celophane and stick black mouths and eyes on one side. If you put sand in the bottom a small candle will stand safely. Have a try, it is nearly as good as the real thing. |
| Naturally, you can not have fun without treats. Why not try filling disposable gloves with popped corn, it is a great family activity, if you do not have pumpkins to carve. |
| The most important thing needed for a Happy Halloween in Australia, is a "slightly mad Gankie", who loves the fun of making costumes ,the decorations, the treats,AND does not mind in the slightest when people say she is crazy. It is all worth it for one smile!!! |
