| Our sophomore year Valentine's day M att & Liz doubles with my best friend Brain and I. We all went to Chillie's and it was Brain & Matt's goal to embarrass Liz and I that night. Brain was moving the plants between the tables and trying to talk to the couples who were attempting to have a quiet dinner for Valentine'e day. Matt kept blatently hitting on the waitress to get Liz mad. They succeeded in embarassing us, but it is also one of the greatest laughts I'e ever had. Junior year I can't remember what we did but I know that we doubled again. Senior year Matty finally got Liz to himself. Probally because I didn't have anyone to double with. | I just remembered another time Matt embarassed me. We all worked at Van Bibber Car Wash and Matt got me for the secret Santa party. I should have kown better than to open his gift in front of my boss, his wife, and children. Expecially since Matt was laughing before I even opened it. Well, Matty always teased me for being the single one all the time and thought it would be funny to pick on me once more. He got me a talking vibrator and Matty made sure everyone at the party was in the room to watch me open it. My face turned soooo red. I thought to myself," no ,Matt's not that sick to give me something like that in front of Jim's family" But oh yes he is. The funny thing is that I was seeing someone at the time and he was my date for the party.He thought it was halarious too, so now I am even more embarressed. Sorry, this may not be apropriot but most of the stories I remember aren't. It was funny though,and you could always count on Matty to go to great lengths for a laugh. Or just tell his stupid jokes that never made any sense. They were only funny because of how funny he thought they were. I'll never forget his laugh. Don't worry though, liz and I always got him back, we embarrassed him just as many times. By Kerri |

| On Friday Febuary th 9th 2001 Matt and Shannon"Even's Girlfriend at the time" came over and they looked great.I said boy you two look good, where are you going? And where is Evan? Matt said they were going to a party, he said Evan stopped off at a bar with some of the men he worked with so he was taking Shannon to the party. Even's 19th birthday was the following Monday and we were celebrateing it on Sunday" I said what bar are they at because I am going to report them for serving someone who's underage. I said Even isn't even 18 yet. Matt said "Grano" he called me that a lot. Evan will be 19 Monday and he is going to be mad when he finds out you thought he was 18. I said oh my god and I was going to have "happy 18th birthday put on his cake. Matt said then he would have really been pissed. I said don't you tell him. ( of course he did) We had a good laugh over that. Gran |

| Matt liked to talk and he told me everythinghe did. Matt & Evan were very close and he was always telling me how awesome Evan was. He said sometimes he thinks Evan's mind is linked with his because every time he needed Evan for something Evan just showed up.On one of these occasions Matt was at a party at a friends house and a group of boys showed up wanting to fight. Well Matt was not one to back down so he accommodated them. He said Evan came out of nowhere and kicked butt, he said the guy that was fighting him didn't have a chance. Evan tore him up. " of course that wasn't Matt's exact words" Matt didn't even know Evan was at the party. Of course the whole beverging club were fighting the boys, and when it was all over, some of the boys had to be carried away by their friends. After the accident Matt was in in 1999 that took the life of his friend and messed him up pretty good as well, his friends were always beside him. Matt had a lot of really good friends. Gran |

"Death is certain" And the only thing we have control over is the manner of our lives while we are here. Never hesitate to tell someone you admire them. Never restrain your inpluse to express love. Be unstinting in your devotion to thos around you. Where you can help do so, expecially where it hurts, Where you can bring knowledge,reason, and light, do not withhold your effort. Where there is sadness, bring joy, Where there is hurt , bring healing. Where there is despire, bring hope. Never rest, never tire, never fail to struggel for betterment of others. Then when your time comes, yuu can say "my life made a difference" |
