• SYNCHRONIZED SKATING IS...
            A team sport that involves skating in different formations
            to music. A group of skaters, with similar technical ability,
            perform intricate steps and footwork in unison.
            Timing must be precise and lines must be straight!
            Skaters use arm and head movements to highlight
            the theme of the music.

    • TRY OUTS
            Try outs will be in September.
            Keep in touch for an updated schedule and ice times.

    • REQUIREMENTS
            75% of the team must not have reached the age of 12
            as of July 1, 2002.
            25% of the team can be between the ages of 12 and 15
            as of July 1, 2002.
            NO SYNCHRO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!
            The team consists of 8 to 16 skaters.
            Program length = 3.0 minutes (+ or - 10 seconds)

    • TECHNICAL ABILITY
            Must be able to skate forward and backward with ease.
            Working on minimum Preliminary tests
            Ability to perform inside and outside 3-turns and mohawks.
            Enjoys working together on a "TEAM"
