I have raised Holland Lops since 1993 when I bought a chestnut doe, "Chilli", from Kris Phelan.  I would like to thank Kris for taking the time to show me what a good Holland should look like, when I was 7 years old.  I learned a lot about the breed that day.  Because I liked Chilli so much I went and bought a buck for her from Carol LaCanne.  Most of my stock comes from those lines---Phelan and LaCanne.  There is of course more lines than just those in my herd now.
I would like to thank Carol for keeping me interested in the Hollands during one of my "drout" times with them.  I wasn't getting any babies, and if they did have babies, they would kill them.  I wanted to give up on the Hollands because I was so frustrated with them..  But thanks to Carol, I didn't.  Also I would like to thank her for teaching me all about the different colors.  Seeing so many in her barn and asking questions helped me learn about all the varieties and genetics.  Each time I visted her barn, it was a very good and fun learning experience.  Since then I have shown Hollands at the annual ARBA Convention.  At the 2003 ARBA Convention, I placed 10th with my Broken Sr. Doe, "TM2".
I raise a bunch of different colors of which include: Blacks, Torts, Oranges, Brokens, and of course, Tris.  I have always enjoyed the Tri-colored Hollands ever since I saw my first one.  I have other colors from time-to-time.
