Good morning/afternoon!

Can you help me, please?

You know, I am a stranger in your city and I just thought that you might help me. I’ve got about five hours of free time and I would like to see some places of interest here in this city. Are there any guided tours ? What do tourists go to see first when they arrive here? Have you got any brochures about the local sights? Thank you very much for your brochure with a map. I think I’ll join one of your guided tours that starts in an hour.

And before the excursion I would like to have a snack. Could you recommend me a nice cafe with moderate prices where they serve local dishes? Is this cafe on the map? Oh, it’s near the meeting point for the guided tour! Super! Thank you very much for your help. And this postcard is for you. It’s with the view of Kyiv, the city I am from.

Bye!

The planet Earth is 4,600 million years old. It is difficult for us to say how often natural catastrophes occurred on our planet in the past. But nowadays , they happen quite often. Probably, people are to blame for this. To some extent, people provoke to natural disasters like drought, sandstorm and famine in Africa, flood in Holland , hurricanes in the USA , volcanoes and earthquakes in Turkey , Japan , Mexico, Italy, Armenia, typhoons and tidal waves, landslide and fire. Natural disasters make big problems and people all over the world come to help the regions where the catastrophe has happened. Food and medical supplies, blankets , tents and clothes are sent to the area from many countries. A lot of doctors , nurses and rescue teams are ready to help those who are in trouble.

Natural catastrophes teach us to treat our planet very carefully and with great love.
