| By marrying me Datin Rokuni became responsible for the welfare of the families of the soldiers serving under me. In the "old days" it was not an easy task or a publicity stunt.The soldiers wives were not as educated as they are today and ensuring their childrens eduction and health was taken care of was not their forte. There were also the never ending domestic problems of soliders not making provision for sufficient funds for the families servival especially when they are away from their base, etc etx.., (Pic right.
