It is a cold windy night.In
Bone Village,Alex stands above an excavation site with his pal Joe.Both
of them are hard at work,digging away into the ground.They both have a
fire burning in their hearts,driving them to look for a piece of ancient
history that holds the key to the future of the world ....a piece of ancient
history which,according to legend,will bring about a new era for the entire
planet.The air is cold.They have been digging for days but this time,they
are sure that they have found the site where it is buried......
"Have we found it yet?"says Alex to Joe,feeling very tired after days
of digging for something which may not be found........ever....
"....almost there.........I can feel it....we are close........"says Joe,
They keep digging and digging.They can feel their muscles getting tired.They
want to go home.They are dirty and hungry but they are commited to finding
it.....at any cost.
"Whats this?"says Joe as his shovel hits something hard in the ground.A
feeling of success tingles through him.They both drop their shovels at
the side and proceed to checking whatever it is,with their bare hands.They
push aside some of the dirt and manage to pull out what can only be described
as some sort of lantern except that it was totally sealed from every which
way you look at it.They look through the clear glass in the centre and
see that,somehow,there is a flame burning in the centre on top of a piece
of metal.As they look closer,the flame slowly intensifies and before they
know it,a blinding flash of light shines outwards from the lantern.Alex
and Joe immediately cover their eyes from the light that is so bright,it
is like looking directly at the sun,if not stronger than the light coming
from the sun....They can feel the air around them getting warmer but Joe,without
realising it,releases the lantern from his hand and it goes tumbling to
the ground.The glass shatters into what seems like a million pieces......
"I................AM...........................FRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE........................HAHAHAHAHA"
Alex and Joe cannot open their eyes cause the light is so bright to see
what said that.They have a feeling that they are weak compared to whatever
said that.They can feel the air getting warmer and warmer now.With their
hands still covering their eyes,they can both feel what can only be described
as a feeling that there is fire all around them,yet they cannot open their
eyes.It is like there is fire around them but they do not feel any pain
from it....
"YOUR WORLD WILL SUFFER.................FROM NOW AND FOREVER,THERE WILL
ONLY BE.........I"
A dark voice talks.It's dark enough to sent a chill down the spines of
both men.It's like they have released an evil,only time will tell if it
was for the better....They hear what sounds like something screaming and
flying off into the distance.Alex and Joe finally see the brightnness
of the light fading and so finally they let go of their eyes....only to
discover something shocking.....
"What in the hell........"says Alex,as he slowly opens his eyes. They
stand in awe as they take a look around and see the entire excavation
site up in flames.....
"What the hell could have done this......?"says Joe,
They stand in the centre of the excavation site surrounded by flames.They
bow down and check the place where they found the lantern.
"Look!"says alex,
They find what seems to be a tablet that was buried under the lantern
and written on it is some sort of ancient writing....
"is this.........the language of the ancients?"says Alex,
"Looks like it,lets take it back to the others and decipher what it says....."says
Joe,eager to see what the tablet says....
"oh my god!"says alex. He seems to have a knack of finding things and
today is no different.As he looks closer,and the flames around them start
to die down,he sees what seems to be ancient tablets all around him.....
"We should probably get some help.All of this will probably help decipher
what we encountered before...."says Joe,startled to say the least upon
discovering all of these ancient artefacts...."I will go and get help...."
As Joe runs off to get some help,Alex looks to the heavens and cannot
help but wonder what it was that spoke to them,and if it was eventually
destiny that allowed them to stumble upon it....and maybe,just maybe,the
world is not ready for this,maybe the end of the world is coming....but
the key to stopping this incredible force must be in these tablets............hopefully.......
