This school house was build about 1906 by the men
living near Claremore Oklahoma In the cummunity
called "Oologah." My grandfather,Tom Dennis,
was one of the men. His children went to school
here. The picture was taken about 1975
Claremore OK was the home of a nation
of people called the mound dwellers.
This is one of the first thing you would see
between Claremore and Tulsa.
Many artifacts have been found at the top of these mounds.

My mother and her family watched him as he ran through town.
