Fond Memories
When I see a crystal raindrop,
Lingering, glistening on the leaves.
As I revel in the fragrance
Of sweet blossoms on the trees.
When I see an old time farmhouse,
Surrounded by trees and flowers
I think of you and remember
Many precious, happy hours.
I often look long at my mountain,
Loving the comfort that it gives.
I see the cozy homes about me
Where my friends and neighbors live.
I hear the gay song of a wild bird
Adding brightness to my day.
Then I think of you, my dear ones,
And things that I would like to say.
You must know , we dearly love you,
And often wish that you were here.
Dear ones, it would make us happy
If we could have you ever near.
In this world, what more is there
Than our love, one for another,
So we thank our God for giving us
Such a precious Sis and Brother.
