Sal'uk - These are the standard thieves of Zakhara, just like the rogues from the Players handbook, and can vary from those skilled in finding and disarming traps, to those who can leap and tumble, to those with charm and the gift of the gab to those who can do a little of all of these,

Barber - Quick witted characters who frequent bazaars (markets), where they give out advice, grooming, and medicinal needs.

Beggar-Thieves - Frequent cities and bazaars. They are seemingly poor and outcasts. But in the Land of Fate only a fool would refuse to give money to those in need, and beggar-thieves can learn things the great and wise cannot.

Holy-Slayer - These may appear to be simple Sal'uks or warriors, but in fact are fanatical followers of a religion. They blend into society and parties of adventurers. One day they will recieve the 'call' from their society and have to undertake a mission with no questions asked- usually to kill an enemy of their faith.

Matrud - Outcast from the tribes either of the desert or the borderlands. Many become bandits, or live on their own wits and skills. They have lost any former power or status they may have had. They live for survival and revenge.

Merchant-Rogue - Some say all merchants and shopkeepers are thieves. These literally are. These are rogues who specialise in business transactions (not always legal ones!) and making an extra dinar or two into the bargain at the expense of their clients.

Rawun - These are the bards of the desert tribes - storytellers and performers and never at a loss for a story, a poem, a jest or a song. (Equivalent of a bard)
