Classes of Zakhara - Religious

Priests (Clerics) - These are a lot like the class from the Players Handbook. However, things are a little different in the Land of Fate with regards religion (see the section on religion for more details). Priests follow a faith. Good and evil, lawful and chaotic types might all worship the same god, and share the same faith - just have different ideas on exactly how to follow that faith. Priests of Order: In a faith the priests will be of three types; pragmatists; ethoists, and moralists. Pragmatists - These are the most liberal. They accept the validity of all gods, not just their own. Ethoists - Not so free-minded, hold their own faith above others, but tolerate other faiths Moralists - Moralists of different faiths are bitter rivals. They do not tolerate other faiths, and believe their own is the one true faith in the name of the Loregiver. Free Priests: These are also touched by the gods, but are not part of a large organised system of worship. Hakima - Wise women. Have the gift of 'Sight'. They can see things and read people like others can't. It is hard to fool a hakima, as they can see through illusions, and sift lies from truth. Kahin - Believe divinity (the gods) can be found in all things, and draw their strength and powers from the land itself, and that their is a certain balance in nature and life (kahins are very similar to the druid class) Mystic - These are touched by fate in strange ways. Most are eccentric, not a few are completely barking-mad. Mystics follow their faith in ways that might seem strange to most people, singing at the moon, banging drums in unison, or dancing until they drop. They bring new ideas for all the good and bad that can bring to the ordered faiths and society as a whole.
