This was the day i bought my grand am for 500.00,it was a little rough,these were the days when a 110 camera was top of the line.
We had a little snow one year,22 inches,that kina slowed construction for a while,i now have a new home with a garage,the Grand Am hasnt seen bad weather in 4 years now.
This car has been several colors,it was primed orange,then striped and primed gray,then painted white, striped again and primed and painted black,I did all my own work,no one helped me with it untill rescently,my brother inlaw helped me with a tork converter,thats the first time anyone offered to help,in 12 years i owned it.
This was just last year,I had to redo the motor after 98,000 miles,it still ran good but it lost oil pressure,it now has many new up to date performance parts,comp cams,gear drive,forged pistons,performer rpm intake,and much more,but i'm not telling all my secrets.
It now has a 400 with p/s p/b a/c, 0.60 over ,I am the third ownerof this ride, I only have about 5,000 in it as of now,I saved alot working at auto parts stores and a mashine shop and doing all my own work,it hasn't been easy,but it was worh it and I would do it over again if I had too.
