PACK 325
ANNOUNCEMENTS &
UPCOMING EVENTS!!!
Scouting Families,
It’s been a great scouting
year, but there’s still more to come! We have a number of activities in the
works in May and throughout the summer! Be sure to stay up to date on all that
scouting has to offer in Pack 325. Below, see all the important details on
upcoming events. Be sure to keep an eye on your email and visit the pack
website at http://www.geocities.com/granbypack325.
Scout Bucks Details/Options
- To
cover the expenses of scouting, each boy was given the opportunity to sell
$300 in popcorn this past fall. Those who sold more than this amount
earned a scout credit equal to 1/3 of those sales above $300.
- This
credit is available to be used towards scouting activities throughout the
year, including the fall overnight, Wolfpack
hockey tickets, Rockcats baseball tickets, and
Cub Scout summer camp. It may also be used to make purchases from the
scout store, or online at scoutstuff.org. Lastly, it can be donated back
to the pack to help fund our many other activities, such as the Halloween
and Holiday parties, pinewood derby or
Blue & Gold banquet.
- At
this time, the upcoming events which are eligible to have scout credits
used for are summer camp, Rock Cats Baseball, or the fall ’09 overnight.
- To use
the credit at the scout store or at scoutstuff.org, make your purchase and
then submit your receipt to Lisa Coon, and she will reimburse you up to
the amount of the credit. (email: [email protected]
mail: 139 W. Granby
Rd., Granby)
- If you
wish to use your son’s scout credits for any of these events, or if you
have made a store purchase, or wish to donate the funds back to the pack,
please contact Lisa Coon, to confirm your intentions.
As
of 6/30/09, any unused, and undesignated credits
automatically revert back to the pack account.
