Move Me (a song)

I see you, and I just stare.

You touch your own skin

Singing your song, dancing away, spinning my world, feeding decay.

You move me, and I'm trapped in.

Now they stand still

Watching me drown, feeling the cold, whither the sun, wish I'd been told.

If I had the voice to tell you all along,

That I've longed to hold you, and I can't go wrong

But I'm late to save this; for as the flowers die away,

I'm gone.

Now I'm empty, knows her summer.

Forgetting the solstice,

melting my heart, fearing she drowns, keeping apart, the guilt I've found.

Spread your fingers

Having my key, turning the door, open for me, healing what I bore.

and if the flowers die away, I'm gone

and if the flowers die away, I'm gone.

Pristine Princess (a song)

Pink dresses and your wet dreams corrode my lust for you.

Perfect bliss, or so it seems, with cherries on the icing.

Kiss the night away, soaking your lips in gasoline.

Utter the words that keep you clean, while roses burn in my garden.

Find your way. Try to cut the surface.

Open wounds where maggots dither the sweetness of your blood.

Pristine princess sold her life. She dove into the sadness

Which in turn creates denial.

Ants caress the little carcass of your hope.

Guilt comes flocking, feasting on porcelain remains.

Stain your eyes, watching all the faults you've made.

Find your way. Try to reach the surface.

Drowning in the wine where self- obsession's vile and cold.

Pristine princess sold her life. She dove into the sadness

Which in turn creates denial.

Pristine princess waved goodbye. Parading sullen faces as she

Crossed to claim her prize.

You are free now. Are you free now? You will always be with me...

Is my princess happy now? Floating on the thoughts she made.

Is my princess happy now? Floating for her soul to wake.

Is my princess happy now? Fighting for another day.

My Frozen Heart

I close my eyes and let a thousand voices pass in and out of my ears.

Advisers, jesters, princes, knights, I just stare and look at her.

She touches her skin, silk running smoothly 'round her body.

She dances, spinning to the soft plucking of the harp. She shines and

she lights my eyes. An angel from the sky, she looks at me, and stares

Everyone is in glee. Not a single vermin is sad, but me. She see's my

empty eyes. She sees the cold solstice where I am trapped in. She knows

her summer, but I know more of my winter. I taste the flakes and she feels

the warmth of her season. If I can only touch her, and feel the warmth too.

I sit, just my frozen heart that keeps me away from her. I fear of melting

and then drowning her with these tears I've kept for years.

Does she have my key? Will she open it up for me?

If I Can Sleep

Sleep now sleep;

Recalling what you said.

If I can sleep forever in this

Comfortable bed.

Wondering eyes, wonderin' what my

Thoughts and I conspire.

They tied you to the crosses

and protected it with fire.

It's a beautiful world out there:

Rising buildings from the soil

Where the natives have to stare.

His eyes bleed from the sun,

Toiling night, and toil by day.

Carry mother loads to the barn,

Plus a glass of lemonade.

Well, I feel warm with this pillow and my sheets.

Cold, without a blanket, now he's dieing on the streets.

If I can sleep forever,

Shut it down, and hide the thoughts in my head.

Soon you'll wake and we'll see together

What they've said, underneath this bed.

Trusting mhy, trustin' in the lies

What they perspire:

Mixed and twisted, what you've listed

On your ballot box sire.

Cuff me up, lose my sleep

Check my color, make a call, and do arrest protocol.

Check your shoes, and the sweaters,

All the pants, may I see.

Look inside for the KID who's worth a dollar fifty.

Come to my bed and take the gifts

That you "need."

So African babies die of AIDS;

So why heed?

Sleep now, sleep.

Recalling what I said.

If you can sleep forever in this

Rusty old bed...
