Vin_Da_DM: After some discussion Luna was set free. Raisha told them her �weapon� was already in Daegriss� control and that he would use it against Selenia. RD then ordered her cyborg bodyguards to destroy the Warriors, but fate intervened and Alexei teleported them to safety aboard the Ettik. Now docked at a hyperspace hub station they determine their next move.
Vin_Da_DM: A soft alarm plays across Ettik�s com system, notifying you of the passing of a new day.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Claron lays in her bed cuddling the twins.
^Lilly^ walks out of the galley.
Luna_Faline enters the med bay to check on the family. �How ya doin� Momma?�
Tabris leans against the doorframe to the back room in Med Bay. Watching both Claron and Eclipse he turns at Luna�s voice. �Mommy�s doing fine.�
Claron smiles brightly at Luna, �We are all doing fine this wonderful morning!�
Luna_Faline nods to Tabris, �Did you get any sleep last night?�
Tabris �Some, but this is not exactly the most comfortable place.� Tabris stretches slightly then steps away as the bio-tank makes some odd noises.
Shaiya raps lightly on Tewyn�s door.
Tewyn: �Yea, come in.�
^Lilly^ walks off towards the airlock deciding to go check out the station. �Might as well see what�s out there.�
Claron looks at Luna, �Afraid the twins kept us both busy.�
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly notices the light from the docking arm shining in through the open airlock door. Some noises can be heard but do not sound close.
Shaiya glides gracefully into Tewyn�s room, �Hope your pain diminished during the night.�
Luna_Faline smiles softly, �I�m sure they did. Are you ready to travel with kids?�
Tewyn: �Its manageable.�
^Lilly^ holding her notebook close to her, she walks through the airlock and follows the noises. �Wonder if I can find anyone interesting to talk to��
Claron looks at Tab��Traveling?...Where?�
Luna_Faline shrugs, �Well�you know we can�t stay here forever, eventually we have to move on.�
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly notices the docking arm is a long lit corridor. The noises coming from down the hall are actually two aliens. They pass Lilly with a nod then continue to speak in a language that doesn�t translate.
Shaiya smiles, locking her eyes on his she walks closer towards him.
^Lilly^ watches the two aliens walk by. �Ummm, hi?� Continues to walk down the hall.
Tabris: �We need to figure out where we�re going first of all.� Tabris looks at Luna as Eclipse emerges from the backroom, drying himself off with a towel.
Shaiya: �I have been doing some thinking about something I said to you last night. Although I can not mess with the Fates...I could tell you what I know that has all ready come to pass,� sitting down gently on the bed next to Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly hears a chuckle ahead then sees Alexei at the end of the hall talking to another alien of the same race, �Out exploring?� Alexei looks towards Lilly.
Tewyn: �Well, if that�s what you want to do...then go ahead.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I keep forgetting how cold bio-tanks are.� Eclipse morphs into his cat form and hops up on the bed next to Claron, �So, these are our two future Warriors?�
Claron watches as Eclipse emerges from the back room. �I take it you are rejuvenated?�
^Lilly^ walks up to Alexei. �Um yeah...kinda got bored...everyone�s being...well boring.� She smiles at the alien but keeps her attention locked on to Alexei. �So what are you doing?�
Shaiya: �I hope you are prepared to hear what I have to say�� reaching a hand over and rubbing a finger along the side of Tewyn�s face.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, discussing food actually. Ettik�s supplies don�t last but for a few months and I figured I would try to get things you and your friends would like.� Alexei looks at the alien who extends a two-fingered hand to Lilly with a short *chort* sound.
Tabris: �It looked cold in there,� Tabris looks at Eclipse then moves over to Claron and pats the twin�s heads.
Tewyn: �Well, just spit it out.�
^Lilly^ smiles again and nods. �Alright, well I�m gonna keep looking around, see you later?�
Shaiya: �It appears your comrades have failed to tell you about the blonde haired woman of your dreams. It intrigues me that you don�t seem to remember being with her right before she was brutally murdered.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods to Lilly as the alien begins to talk to him again, �Oh, remember that this is docking arm 5. Don�t get lost!�
^Lilly^ nods, only half listening, continues down the docking arm waiting to reach the other side and see what it held.
Tewyn: �Murdered?...By who?�
Shaiya: �By the man that gave her life.�
Vin_Da_DM: The docking arm opens out into a large circular hallway. Shops to either side are set into the walls and appear to be selling ship parts, food and some other identifiable things. Various different humans and aliens mingle about.
Tewyn: �I see.�
Luna_Faline turns to look at Eclipse, �Feeling better?�
Shaiya looks at Tewyn, �What do you see? That she died saving you and another?�
^Lilly^: Her eyes light up as she leaves the docking arm. �Lets see, where to first?� She heads to her left looking at the various foods and smiling at all the different people.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse�s tail waves as he looks at Luna with his usual sky-blue eyes, �As can be expected, it�s not the worst I�ve had.�
Tewyn: �No, don�t see that...just saying I understand what you are saying.�
Shaiya eyes show Tewyn that she understood what he meant� �You have no recollection of being with her on that fateful day?�
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly is greeted with some smiles, puzzling looks and several unreadable alien faces. The foods are mostly non-perishables; canned goods, some caged animals, and a few hard shelled...fruit.
Tabris: �Claron? You okay?� Tabris places a hand on Claron�s shoulder to make sure she hasn�t drifted off.
Tewyn: �Like I said, I don�t remember seeing any of these people after that day I was yanked from the place that played war like a board game.�
^Lilly^ continues walking around stopping at a few of the vendors. She eyes the caged animals and thinks of what it would be like to have a pet. �Well, would be a companion�� She mutters as she continues checking out the vendors...
Claron looks at Tab when he touches her softly on the shoulder...�I am fine, just wondering when I can have something to eat... and why none of the others have come to see our little Warriors?�
Shaiya: �I see...either you are blocking the memory or it has been erased for you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Ahead down the corridor Lilly can hear blaring music coming from a set of bead-curtains. A large neon sign reads �The Trash-Heap� in several languages, several drunk aliens stumble out from behind the curtains singing badly.
Tewyn shrugs, �Well, that I would have no idea about.�
^Lilly^ looks over shaking her head at the aliens and shrugs before entering the curtains.. �What could I lose?� she looks around the room listening to the music and trying to figure out just what is going on in there.
Luna_Faline takes a seat on the rolling stool. �You can eat anything you want, just don�t over do it. And I haven�t told the others they could see you yet. My beliefs give the family privacy until they are ready to share the new members with the world.�
Shaiya looks deep in to Tewyn�s eyes mesmerizing him with the stare, while images of what happened to Clarice begin to flood through his mind.
Vin_Da_DM: The Trash-Heap is clearly a tavern. The large oval room has a bar counter to the side, tables in the middle, and a stage at the end with a well-endowed woman singing a rock-pop song. The floor below is clear and Lilly can see the station's trash-recycling station below.
Tabris: �Well, if you want to get something to eat I can go check out the galley or the station.� Tabris looks at Claron as Eclipse hops off the table and heads for the door.
^Lilly^: �Hmm, fits the name.� Wanders around and watches the singer listening to the music. Walking over to the bar she looks for a place to sit. Finally seeing one, she sits down and waits for the bartender to notice her.
Claron smiles at Luna...�I would like to see Tewyn though.�
Vin_Da_DM: The bartender is a short alien on a hover pad, he waves his fourth arm at her with a grin, �What can I get you, little lady?� As he speaks Lilly feels a...presence coming from the man in red with black hair beside her.
Tewyn: A tear runs down his face, �You should just leave...NOW!�
Luna_Faline nods with a smile, �I�ll go get him now if your ready.�
Vincent grabs his beer and finishes it.
Shaiya watches Tewyn closely. Smiling inwardly, rises from the bed, �As you wish.�
Vincent looks to his side then back at the bartender. �More. Now!�
^Lilly^: �Umm, I�ll take sex on a beach, please.� Glances around her and shivers as she glances at the man next to her. As she watches him she can�t push away the feeling that there was something about him...something that struck her funny.
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course, of course,� The bartenders second and third arms begin to fill up a glass for Vincent, he looks at Lilly, �A what?�
Claron nods...�I am ready anytime.�
Luna_Faline leaves the med bay to find Tewyn. Following his scent I find his door in time to see Shaiya leaving. �That smile again. What is she up to?� I wonder to myself.
Luna_Faline steps aside as she passes me. �G�morning,� I purr.
^Lilly^ sighs as she looks down. �You got whiskey and juice?�
Claron looks back at Tab...�Clarissa reminds me of Clarice, and so much has happened...I never did tell him about her.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Seventeen flavors of juice and three kinds of whiskey. What�re you after?� The bartender slides a think sheet of paper to Vincent before tapping his feet against the hover pad with the beat of the music.
Vincent picks up the paper and looks at it.
Shaiya nods to Luna as she heads to the galley.
Tabris: �I know�� Looking down at the twins he goo-goo�s them for a bit, �It�s a touchy topic to discuss��
^Lilly^ shrugs. �I don�t care...anything.� She glances over at the man in red and eyes him, �I�m sorry�but do I know you?�
Vincent continues to read the newspaper then looks at Lilly. �Follow me now.� Stands and heads to the back room.
Claron nods her head...�He should hear it from us.�
Luna_Faline pauses outside of Tewyn�s door, then knocks calling out, �Tewyn?�
Tewyn pauses for a moment wiping away more tears, �Yeah, who is it now?�
^Lilly^ glances at him. �Excuse me? Who do you think you are?�
Luna_Faline: �It�s Luna, can I come in?�
Tewyn: �Sure, come in.�
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly sees Vincent head for a steel hatch near the stage. Below her she hears Eclipse meow then sees the cat follow after Vincent, his tail motioned Lilly to follow.
Luna_Faline enters Tewyn�s room and sees his still moist cheeks. �Are you in pain?� I ask moving slowly closer to him.
Tewyn: �No, I�m fine. What do you need?�
^Lilly^ watches as Eclipse races past her. �Hey, wait!!!� runs after Eclipse. �Get back here you mangy, blue eyed cat!�
Tabris: �I guess so,� Tabris leans down and kisses Claron on the cheek, �I just hope he can handle hearing it.�
Vin_Da_DM: A slot in the steel door opens and three eyes look at Vincent, �It�s you...come on in.� The slot closes and the door clicks several times.
Claron: �So do I.... �
Luna_Faline: �Claron wishes you to come meet the new members of the family�� pauses for a moment, �Is there anything I can do for you?� I ask concerned.
Vincent pushes the door open and enters.
^Lilly^ arrives at the hatch and hesitates as she looks around. �Should I?�
Tewyn looks at Luna_Faline, �Like I said I�m fine...just show me where she is.�
Vincent looks around the room.
Claron looking at Tab...�He knew her better than I did...maybe he can help fill in the void for me, too.�
Luna_Faline bows my head at his declaration of being fine. �They are in the med bay.�
Vin_Da_DM: The room is as clean as the rest of the tavern. A wooden desk sits at the end with a chair turned towards the massive windows looking out into space. The door guard blinks his three eyes at Vincent then at Lilly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Please enter and close the door.� A voice sounds from the chair as a trail of smoke rises.
Vincent leans on the desk.
Tewyn stands, �Well, if you excuse me...guess I have another appearance to make.�
^Lilly^ shaking off her hesitation she enters the hatch and stands just behind Vincent. �I�m here, are you happy now?�
Vincent looks at Lilly and says nothing.
^Lilly^ rolls her eyes as she closes the door. �You know, you can say something�can�t you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse moves over to Lilly and sits near her feet. The guard closes the door and you hear it click several times again.
Luna_Faline raises my head slowly, ear alert. �I am here if you have need of an old friend.� I turn and leave his room.
Vincent looks at the chair, �What now?�
Tewyn walks out and heads toward Med Bay.
^Lilly^ looks down at Eclipse, whispering. �What are we doing here?�
Vincent looks at the black cat then at Lilly.
Vin_Da_DM: The chair swivels around and Lilly sees a familiar looking man with green hair and black tattoos on his face and bare arms. He stands up and you can see he is wearing a black armored vest and armored pants. �You are here and she is here, which means the others are nearby. I have a...opportunity for both.�
Tewyn walks into Med Bay. �So you wanted to see me?�
Shaiya enters the galley, walks over to the replicator pushing button for a bowl of strawberries then sits at a table her mind full of thoughts of what is to come.
Vincent turns his head and looks, �What sort of opportunity?�
Tabris turns at the sound of Tewyn�s voice and nods to him, �Hey there, Tewyn.�
^Lilly^: Her mouth drops as she watches the chair swivel and the smoke clear. �Yeah, the others are here...but, um, who is he...and how did you get here???�
Vin_Da_DM: The replicator dings, then buzzes. It opens and a small bowl of strawberries slides onto the counter.
Shaiya hears the ding, goes over and gets the bowl of strawberries, begins nibbling on one while making her way back to her seat.
Vin_Da_DM: The man looks at Lilly for a moment as if thinking then nods, �My, my. Lilly...it has been far too long.� Gabriel extends his hand to Lilly then looks at Vincent, �I believe you have an idea of who he is, simply a proper introduction is lacking.�
Luna_Faline enters the room I have claimed and falls to my knees, I begin to pray to my Goddess for direction and blessing.
Tewyn looks at Claron and Tabris, �So, what did you need?�
Vincent stands up straight, �Name�s Vincent�� then looks out the window.
Claron turns in Tewyn�s direction noticing a strange look on his face...�Yes, I wanted to see you.��
^Lilly^ ignores his hand and gives Gabriel a big hug. �Yes, it has been a long time. Too long�Where have you been?� glances back at Vincent as he utters his name, �Am I supposed to know him?�
Tabris: �To see the newest members of our little �save the universe� gang.� Tabris gently picks up Clarissa.
Claron: �Please come closer...take a seat,� pointing to the roll about chair Luna had used earlier.
Tewyn walks a few feet closer. �I�ll be fine right here.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gabriel looks at Lilly for a moment after the hug, then nods, �It is a long story...Vincent here is one of people you are looking for. Now...I would like to see the others before I discuss my business with you.�
Vincent: �Can we get this going?...I got people on my list that need to die.�
^Lilly^: �You mean...he�s a DESTINED one?� glares at Vincent.
Claron gets a pained look in her eyes...�I....think its time I spoke with you about Clarice.�
Vincent looks at Lilly then gives her a little grin.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe�s eyes flash as he looks at Vincent, �Your part of this little operation is to go with Lilly and her friends as a guard. The rest of it the others must hear.�
Tewyn: �So that�s what this is about?�
^Lilly^ rolls her eyes and turns back to Gabe. �They�re back on the ship, I�m the only one who came out besides Alexei.�
Vincent: �Great! Now I must baby sit a pointy eared lil girl!� he says as he walks to the door.
Vin_Da_DM: �He looks strong enough, but the attitude needs work.� Eclipse speaks up as he jumps onto the desk and looks at Gabe.
Claron nods to Tab then bites her lower lip before looking at Tewyn...�I promised you we would talk later about Clarice... and I am afraid, we have never had the chance to discuss her.�
^Lilly^ walks over and brings her hand back smacking him across the face. �I am very much an adult thank you. Not that I need to explain myself to scum like you!� with that she storms out of the room and ahead of the others.
Vincent grabs her by the hand and lifts her up to the wall. �TOUCH ME AGAIN AND DIE RUNT!!�
^Lilly^: Her eyes grow white as she grins. �Awww, you do have a heart...an itty bitty one...but its there.�
Tewyn looks straight at Claron, �Save it...seems someone could tell me things you couldn�t,� turns back to the door, �Enjoy your family,� walking out of Med Bay.
Vin_Da_DM: Shaking his head Gabe takes another breath from his cigarette, �Let her down. Lilly, please take this to your ship�s captain.� Gabe places a small device on the desktop.
Vincent tosses her aside, �Alright, I kill who they want, but I�ll kill her for free!�
Claron: �Tewyn!� calls out to him as he leaves.... tears welling up in her eyes.... �Tab, whoooo would have done that?!?�
^Lilly^ getting up she glares at Vincent. Nodding she takes the device from Gabe. �You�re not coming?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Kill her and it�ll be the last thing you do in this realm,� Eclipse hisses at Vincent before looking at Lilly, �Let�s go...maybe this one will get some manners on the walk back to the ship.�
Vincent shakes his head and follows thinks to himself, �Great! Stuck with Sabrina, the teenage bitch and Salem.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Unfortunately, no. Having helped build this station I have an obligation to run it.� Gabe tosses the device to Lilly, �That will enable communications with my office. I will explain the details when you�re ready.�
Claron: With tears sliding down her cheeks...�It...I...it wasn�t intentional�not telling him.�
Tabris sighs as Tewyn leaves, �I have a good idea...it�s probably that Shaiya woman. She�s odd.�
Tewyn walks toward the airlock looking out at the station.
Luna_Faline: Finished with my prayers I rise and leave my room. Standing in the hall outside my door I sense something is amiss and head back to Med Bay.
^Lilly^ smiling as she walks toward Gabe, wraps her arms around Gabe and holds him to her for a second. �I�m sure the others will be happy to know your alive�OH, and um, Claron had her babies by the way. A boy and a girl.� She looks at Vincent as she walks by him and stands next to Eclipse. �I hope so�� she mutters smiling at Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: The door guard unlocks and opens the door, the blaring music comes in through the door. Gabe nods as the three leave.
Claron looks at Tabris with a puzzled look...�Why would she do that?...It could serve her no useful purpose. Surely you are mistaken!�
Vincent: �We leaving or are we gonna stand here like morons?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse walks head of Lilly and exits the bar, turning to the right on his way back to the ship.
Vincent follows the cat.
^Lilly^ leaving the bar, she walks alongside Eclipse. �Does he have to come along? I don�t have a good feeling about him.�
Tewyn walks out through the station looking around.
Luna_Faline enters Med Bay to see Claron upset, the twins fussing. I move over and pick up Clarissa cooing, �It�s alright little one.� I look at Tabris. �What happened?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Dinner!� A bulky alien eyes Eclipse and lunges at him with a knife. In the following seconds Lilly sees Eclipse hop in the air and bat the man across the face sending him crashing into a storefront, dazed. �Eat that,� Eclipse hisses.
^Lilly^ sees Tewyn, she waves and walks towards him. �Hey, have you seen Alexei? There is something everyone needs to know.�
Vincent: �Believe me, I�d rather be doing something else than be stuck with you,� as he walks behind them.
Luna_Faline wraps my tail around one leg of the other incubator and gives it a gently rock.
Vin_Da_DM: �Tewyn happened�� Tabris rolls his eyes and looks at Luna.
Vincent: �Wow! Kitty has claws.�
Tewyn walks past ^Lilly^ barely acknowledging her, �Nope,� enters the bar.
Vin_Da_DM: A few of the patrons glance toward Tewyn as he enters, then go back to talking and watching the singer.
Luna_Faline: �Ahhh, I see. I suspect there is some interference in that sector.� I say softly as I calm the twins down.
^Lilly^ rolls her eyes. �What is it with everyone ignoring me lately.�
Claron wiping the tears away, looks at Luna��I was going to tell him about Clarice... Someone told him! He acted like I deliberately kept it away from him.�
Tewyn takes a seat at the bar��Just give me that bottle up there on the wall.� pointing.
Vin_Da_DM: �Something�s troubling Tewyn.� Eclipse shrugs as a cat can, then looks ahead down the docking arm. �Alexei�s at the hatch...looks like loading crates.�
Vincent continues to walk silently.
Luna_Faline: �Hmmmmm, time is a cruel mistress, and gods play with us as pawns on a chess board.� I sigh laying Clarissa back in her bed. �I know there is pain. But it must be pushed aside to find the relief.�
Vin_Da_DM: The bartender nods and hovers up grabbing the bottle. The tall bottle of thick yellow liquid is set down in front of Tewyn, the label unreadable. �Good stuff, burns going down.�
^Lilly^: Continuing towards the hatch she leaves Eclipse and Tewyn behind. �ALEXEI!!!� She runs up to him flailing her arms trying to get his attention.
Tewyn: �That be fine...I�m used to burning.� Removes the top and takes a hit.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei glances at Lilly as he sets a food crate down on hover-cart, �Hello...is something wrong?�
Luna_Faline: �Purrhaps, I should try to talk to him?� I ask softly.
Vincent: �I�d say there�s something wrong with her head,� he utters as he stands there.
Vin_Da_DM: True to word, the liquid has a sweet taste, but feels like drinking lava mixed with jalapenos.
Claron nodding her head as Luna speaks...�How is he going to feel when he finally takes a good look at the twins...especially Clarissa. When I look at her I see Clarice�he will too.�
Tewyn burps, �Just how I like it.� Takes another big shot.
^Lilly^ hands him the device Gabe had given her. �An old friend I ran into said to give you this and that we need to get the whole group together. Oh, and this jerk behind me I guess is one of the Chosen, and well, is to be a bodyguard of some sort for us. But I think he�s just bad news.� She ignores Vincent�s comment and continues to focus on Alexei.
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn begins to notice his vision is getting off. Strange blue objects begin to fade in and out of focus in front of him.
Luna_Faline: �I see her, too.� I purr. �I will find him.� I turn to follow Tewyn�s trail.
Tewyn: �WOW! This stuff is good,� looking at the bottle.
Tabris: �Make sure he�s all right,� Tabris calls out to Luna as she leaves.
Vincent: �Great, now am the GREAT chosen babysitter!?� he mumbles.
Luna_Faline nods as I turn to the airlock, the trail leading into the station. I pass Alexei, Lilly and a stranger as I follow Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: �Right. I�ll get this to the bridge, gather everyone in the galley whenever you�re ready and I�ll patch it through.� Alexei eyes Vincent as he begins to push the hover-cart.
^Lilly^: �Hey, look!! Was anyone talking to you! Shut up and stand there. That�s all your good for anyway!!�
Vincent looks at Alexei, grins, then enters the ship.
Tewyn takes one more shot and looks around the room.
Vincent ignores Lilly as he steps by her.
Luna_Faline enters the bar and silently, takes a seat next to Tewyn. I just sit there waiting for him to do something.
Shaiya sits finishing up her bowl of strawberries. Goes over to the replicator pushing buttons for a rather large bowl of assorted fruits.
Vin_Da_DM: Around the room Tewyn sees more of the blue objects blurring and focusing. The bottles label strangely becomes readable and says, �Yellow Tornado Blue�.
^Lilly^ rolls her eyes as she enters the docking arm and heads back into the ship looking for the group members.
Vincent wanders around trying to find the galley.
Tewyn stands a bit wobbly, �Damn humans!!! Should of killed �em all!!�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse jumps in the hover-cart and rides it into the Ettik.
Claron: �Love, you haven�t had a break at all...why don�t you go get us both something to eat?�
Vincent looks at the doors as he walks, reading them.
Luna_Faline watches Tewyn stand up. �What good would that have done you?� I ask in a whisper.
^Lilly^ grins as she notices Vincent walking in the wrong direction. She walks off in search of Claron and Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent finds the corridors from the Ettik�s airlock head to the central chamber. There is little to read until the chamber, where the two lifts are labeled Bridge and Galley.
Tabris: �Okay...what are you hungry for?�
Vincent enters the galley the looks around.
Tewyn: �It would of done me a lot of goo...good!�
Shaiya grabs the bowl of fruit from the replicator and heads off towards Med Bay. �Surely the new mother will enjoy some fresh ripe fruit.� Smiles inwardly.
^Lilly^ walks to the med bay hoping they are still there. �Tab, Claron? Are you still in here?�
Luna_Faline: �You can not avoid pain, it will all ways find you.� I whisper again.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent finds the galley to be large with a few tables and a central counter with cooking stations and a replicator.
Claron: �Anything...surprise me,� smiles sweetly at Tabris.
Tewyn: �Avoid it...hell, I would of just ended it befoooore it started!�
Tabris looks at Lilly as he heads out the door, pausing to speak, �Just about to go get something to eat.�
Vincent: �Not bad.� Finds a chair then sits with his legs propped up on the table with his hands behind his head.
Luna_Faline: �The gods have played games with us all,� I purr as I stand to take Tewyn�s arm hoping to lead him back to the ship.
^Lilly^: �Well...umm, your needed in the galley as soon as possible.� Smiles at Claron as she notices the babies. �Congrats...by the way.�
Shaiya notices a new face pass her as she heads out of the door from the galley, smiles and nods at him.
Vin_Da_DM: The galley lift hums as Alexei and the hover-cart come down. He pushes it to the center counter and begins to off-load the food crates into the cupboards beneath the countertop.
Tewyn pulls his arm away looking around the bar. �Where�s a damn human that wants to...toooo battle it out!�
Vincent nods at Shaiya.
Claron hears Tabris��OH! Do come in, ^Lilly^. You can sit with me while Tab grabs us a bite to eat.�
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn notices the blue objects have grown bigger and seem to be surrounding him and his head buzzes.
^Lilly^ looks around kinda confused and grows shy. �Umm, ok.� Walks in and sits next to Claron.
Luna_Faline allowing Tewyn to pull away, I draw my sai. �I�m only half human and I don�t want to fight you, so let�s go,� I growl pushing the sai against his side just hard enough to get his attention.
Tewyn shakes his head, �Damn blue spots!�
Claron: �Thank you, ^Lilly. Would you like to hold them?�
Tewyn spits at Luna_Faline, �Halflings aren�t worth my time!!�
Tabris: �Why we needed in the galley? I�m not sure if Claron could go there or not.�
^Lilly^ nods slowly as she holds out her hands.
Luna_Faline: �I�ve never been worried about what your time was worth, Tewyn. Lets go,� I growl steering him to the door with my sai.
Claron hands her Stryder who has been sleeping in her arms...�Meet Stryder Maxwell DuVallis...� Chuckling to herself, �This is your Aunt ^Lilly^,� smiling at ^Lilly^.
Tewyn grabs Luna_Faline�s arm spinning behind her placing the sai by her throat. �Like I said, not worth my time.� Pushes her away and staggers to the side of the bar.
Tabris watches Claron and Lilly, �All right, I�ll be back.� Tabris ducks out of the Med Bay and heads down the hall.
Vincent stands up and walks to the replicator. �Wonder how the beer is on this barge?� taps the replicator, �Beer.�
^Lilly^ smiles as she takes Stryder in her arms. She thinks to herself. �Aunt Lilly�?
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks at Vincent from the food crates and shakes his head, �That won�t work. Here, try this.� He reaches into one of the crates and hands Vincent a black glass bottle.
Claron: �And as you can see, his sister, Clarissa Penance, is sleeping in the incubator�� smiling proudly.
Vincent looks at Alexei, �Thanks pal,� he grins and takes his seat again.
Luna_Faline regaining my balance, I watch Tewyn for a moment then jump at him with both feet knocking him to the ground in his unsteady state. I sit atop his chest with my boots pinning his arms to the floor. �Make time for this,� I growl my tail retrieving the sai.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not a problem...I figured somebody would drink it.� Alexei stands then looks at Gabe�s device before leaving the galley.
Vincent cracks open the beer and takes a swig.
Luna_Faline: �I�m done fighting with you, get up.� I say standing up over him.
Vin_Da_DM: The beer is refreshing but nothing remarkable. The label has a cow�s head on it and says �Bullshit Beer�.
Tewyn stands up still wobbling. �Yea...yea�half�� falls down on his face and passes out.
Shaiya ducks in a cubby-hole space as she sees Tabris leave. After he passes she enters Med Bay...Shaiya stands at the door watching as ^Lilly^ holds one of the infants...�Oh, hope I am not intruding.� Walks closer to Claron handing her a bowl of fruit, �Thought you might be famished.�
Vincent: �So that�s how they named it. Called it what it taste like,� chugs it down and places the bottle on the table.
Luna_Faline shakes my head at the Drow on the barroom floor. I put my sai back in my belt, then motion to the bartender for a pitcher of water.
Vin_Da_DM: The bartender laughs at Tewyn, then hands Luna an ice-filled pitcher of water, �Never seen someone go flat out that fast, bottle�s on the house.�
Claron looks at Shaiya, �How thoughtful of you. Tab actually just left to get us food.�
Luna_Faline: �Thanks.� I purr to the man then roll Tewyn over and dump the pitcher on his face �Let�s go, boy!�
^Lilly^ looks up at Shaiya, �Nope, just keeping them company while Tab�s out getting food.�
Tabris enters the galley and heads for the replicator. Punching in a few food items he looks over at Vincent, �Hello...who the hell are you supposed to be?�
Claron takes the bowl of fruit from Shaiya...�As you can see, ^Lilly is holding Stryder Maxwell...and Clarissa Penance is in the incubator.�
Tewyn shakes his head screaming, �Fucking cat!! Your about to have one less life.�
Vincent looks at Tabris and grins, �The name�s Vincent. I�m suppose to be your new babysitter.�
Vin_Da_DM: The Ettik�s com system comes to life with Alexei�s voice again, �All right, I�ve got your com-link patched in. Whenever you�re ready I�ll put it through to the mess hall.�
Luna_Faline nods as I help Tewyn up off the floor. �Yea�yea� yea, I�ve heard that one before. Get your gray ass back on the ship.�
Tewyn: �I think I�m fine right here.�
Luna_Faline: �I don�t have a cute little maids outfit for you to wear this time,� I mutter.
Tabris: �Oh really? That was fast...just had the kids last night.� Tabris grabs the plates of steaming food and sniffs them, �You don�t look like a babysitter, so I�m keeping my eye on you.�
Vincent grins at Tabris.
Shaiya smiles at Claron then walks over and looks down at Clarissa sleeping peacefully... �She is beautiful�just like her mother.�
Tabris narrows his gaze then exits the galley with the plates.
Luna_Faline: �Whether you like it or not, Tewyn, you are needed with us. I have offered to help you countless times. I can�t do anything else for you,� I growl as I walk away from him.
Vincent sits there peeling the label of the bottle, �So, when is this gig getting started?�
Claron watches Shaiya closely as Tabris� words from earlier come to mind.
Tewyn: �Well, when I need help from anyone...I�ll be sure to let you know...till then, butt out!�
Luna_Faline throws my words over my shoulder as I leave the bar, �You should know better than to listen to someone you just met over someone you�ve known a long time.� With that I leave and head back to the ship.
Tabris enters the med bay with steaming plates and looks around, �Somebody ordered take-out?�
^Lilly^ runs her hand across Stryder�s forehead. �And you...cutie...look like your dad.�
Tewyn goes and sits back at the bar. �Hey, bartender!�
Vincent looks around the room bored out of his skull.
Claron smiles as Tabris comes back in the room...�I did, love�what you bring us?� Giving him a look that says �Thank god you are back�.
Tabris: Setting down the plates on the counter he looks at both of them with a jokingly smile, �You have two choices for dinner�or breakfast today. Roast beef with some taters and carrots, or chicken noodle pasta with salad.�
^Lilly^: Noticing Tabris is back, stands up and hands Stryder back to Claron. �You guys are still needed in the galley for an important announcement...and some news.��
Luna_Faline enters the ship and goes to the galley. Entering the galley I see a new face. �And you are?� I ask lightly as I place an order in the replicator.
Vin_Da_DM: The bartender looks at Tewyn, �You again? You went down quickly with that last bottle...what do you want?�
Vincent looks at Luna, thinks to himself �great another cat�. �The name�s Vincent, you are?�
Tewyn: �Well if it was that good, might as well get another.�
^Lilly^ walks in behind Luna and hears her question. �An idiot not worth our time and money. Just ignore him.�
Claron: �Chicken noodle pasta�please. Look, Shaiya brought us some fruit,� pointing to the bowl of fruit.
Vincent chucks Lilly the finger and grins.
Luna_Faline removes my order of tuna steak with cream and a glass of milk from the replicator and turns back to Vincent. �I am Luna Faline, servant of the Goddess Selenia,� taking a seat at the table with him.
Claron: Still cradling Stryder looks at Tab.
Vin_Da_DM: �Only the one bottle I�m afraid, chum. I�ve got the next best thing though.� The bartender looks at Tewyn, sizing up his wealth with the glance.
Luna_Faline purrs laughingly, �You�ll have to forgive our little elfling, she�s touchy.� Takes a bite of my steak.
Tewyn: �Well, just pass it over.�
Vincent looks at Luna, �If your lucky, she might not survive this night.�
^Lilly^ glares, �I am not!! He�s the one that has been rude to me since we met!!!�
Tabris: �How nice of her�� Tabris eyes the fruit and places the plate on Claron�s lap. Unwrapping the fork and knife from a napkin he places them next to the plate.
Luna_Faline: �She is necessary to the greater cause, leave her alone. I have greater troubles than Lilly,� I sigh.
Vin_Da_DM: The bartender hands Tewyn a neon-green glowing liquid filled bottle. The label reads �Radioactive Rot-Gut�.
Vincent: �Greater cause?�
Tewyn looks at the bottle. �Oh, yea! Good ole system cleaner.�
Claron: �What is this all about?�Everyone needing to go to the galley�� looking back and forth at Shaiya and Tab.
Tabris: �I guess we�re supposed to be getting an idea of our next location, or something.� Tabris shrugs as he begins eat the roast beef.
Luna_Faline looks at Vincent for a moment judging him, �There is a much bigger picture to look at. There is a great evil afoot we must defeat. We are all needed together to do that.�
Shaiya: �Oh? This is the first I have heard anything about it.�
Vincent: �So, ya�ll are out to kill God, too, huh?�
Tabris: �You can stay here, Claron. I�ll give you summary of whatever it is.� Tabris quickly scarfs down the rest of his plate and looks at Shaiya. �You coming?�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �No, not god. The balance must be regained. You cannot throw it off one way or the other.�
Shaiya nods at Tabris...�Yes...best see what is up,� smiling at Claron. �You have beautiful children.�� Heads out the door back towards the galley.
Vincent: �Great, more delays,� he sits back in his chair.
Vin_Da_DM: �Kill God...I hope you know which one,� Eclipse hops up on the table next to Luna and sits down watching Vincent.
Claron: �Hurry back, love,� smiling as Tabris leaves.
Tabris: �Of course!� Tabris calls back as he heads down the hallway.
Luna_Faline laughs, �That too�� offering Eclipse a bite of tuna.
Vincent: �What do you mean which one? The evil bastard that made me kill my sister?� Sits back in his chair.
Vincent grabs the bottle tightly.
Luna_Faline looks at Vincent, �The gods number are many as the stars in the sky.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Evil bastard...I know a few gods who fit that description.� Eclipse blinks then looks at Luna.
Luna_Faline eats the bite I offered to Eclipse with a remorseful look. �I forgot,� I purr softly.
Vincent shakes his head and quietly says, �I should have stayed in Satan�s army.�
Tabris enters the galley and looks at everyone. �What�s this about Satan�s army?�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �He was only an angel. Welcome to the next level.�
Claron tries eating the plate of food Tabris brought for her...gets about halfway through and realizes that she isn�t as hungry as she thought she was...lays her head back on the pillow and dozes off while Stryder and Clarissa sleep.
Vincent looks at Tabris and shakes his head and throws the bottle from the chair into the trash.
Shaiya enters the galley and takes a seat at the table.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice sounds on the com again, �All right, I�m reading most of you in the galley. Patching the link in.�
Vincent stands up and walks over to a place where he can sit away from people.
Vincent looks, �Better,� then sits.
Shaiya notices Tewyn�s absence.
Vin_Da_DM: A holographic screen comes into view floating above the center counter. It blinks then Gabriel sitting at his desk fades in, �Well then, looks like everyone�s here.�
Vincent: �Great, it�s Gabe again.�
Luna_Faline turns to look at the screen when I hear the familiar voice. �Gabriel? You�ve been moved as well.��
Tabris takes a seat on the table top next to Eclipse and watches the screen.
Shaiya watches the screen.
^Lilly^: �Told you there was a surprise.�
Vincent stands up and leans against the wall arms folded under his red jacket.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe nods and looks at Luna, �Good to see you. Now, I have a request to make of you and I will pay generously for it�s completion.�
Vincent: Bandana-thing tilted down just above his eyes.
Luna_Faline: �What is it you need us to do?� I ask Gabe.
Vin_Da_DM: �What sort of request?� Eclipse watches the screen with interest as he speaks.
^Lilly^ eyes Eclipse. �You don�t know?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well,� Gabe leans back in his chair and takes a puff of cigarette, �A certain...item of some value was taken from me during it�s transport here. I want you to investigate the area where it disappeared and discover where it was taken. Then I want you to retrieve it and bring it back to me.�
Luna_Faline leans back in my chair to think about this...
Shaiya listens, her eyes roving the room watching the others.
Vincent shakes his head, �So now I�m your errand boy, Gabe?�
^Lilly^: �And you can�t tell us what it is?�
^Lilly^ glances over at Vincent for the first time actually noticing him since they entered the ship. �Yes, and you will enjoy it.�
Vincent looks at Lilly, grins evilly, �Your time will come,� then continues to watch the screen.
Vin_Da_DM: �I assure you, Vincent, there will be plenty of bad guys for you to have your fill.� Gabe eyes Vincent then looks back at the group, �I�m afraid I cannot. I have given your ship�s pilot the co-ordinates to the site. There you will meet my associate and he will tell you know what he knows.�
Luna_Faline looks around at the gathered group and wonders what crawled up their butts and died while I was gone....
Tabris: �So you want us to find this guy, talk to him, track down your stolen item and bring it back?� Tabris looks at Gabe, �What�s the catch?�
Shaiya sits back watching, thinking, �These Warriors don�t miss much.�
^Lilly^ continues to watch Gabe�s hologram and nods after a while. �Guess we got our next location.�
Luna_Faline watches Shaiya out the corner of my eye, thinking to myself that she is up to something.
Luna_Faline: �Well, we are missing one elf, or we could leave now,� I growl.
Vin_Da_DM: �The catch, Tab, is that I believe the item was taken by an organization that,� Gabe pauses and turns in his chair, �Plans to use it for their own means, which I cannot allow.�
Vincent looks at the screen. �Gabe, you never told me about any of the �Chosen� crap before. I�d like some more info before ya send me off with these fre...err�people.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You�ll learn soon enough, Vincent. Now, if they do indeed have it, I want you to get it back by whatever means. If you happen to eliminate them in the process, consider your reward doubled.� Gabe nods to the group, �Now, will you take the job?�
^Lilly^ looks around at the rest of the group. �I got nothing better to do, I�m in.�
Shaiya watches the group waiting to hear their responses...
Vincent shakes his head, �I guess I�ll play with the tards for a bit. I�m in.�
Luna_Faline nods lightly, �As the goddess leads.� I purr softly.
Tabris: �Well, might as well.� Tabris shrugs and looks at the others.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods silently then glances at Vincent for a moment.
Vin_Da_DM: �Excellent. Now, my contact will be at the site and will introduce himself as my associate.� Gabe crosses his fingers and looks at you. In the background of his com you hear klaxons going off, �What now��
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the galley windows you notice several hyperspace portals opening and see large ships coming out of each. They begin to open fire on the station, impacts on the stations shields causing Ettik to shake.
Vincent looks at the screen.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn it...get your ship the hell out of here, Luna!� Gabe shouts on the com as it fades off and you hear and see the station�s batteries returning fire.
Vincent: �About fricking time we got a fight, was getting bored,� he says looking out the window.
Luna_Faline: �Gabe! What is going on?�
Luna_Faline runs from the galley to the bridge. �Alexei?!? We need to go now!� I yell.
Luna_Faline growls at the elevator, �Damn ships, Alexei??� I yell again.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice shouts on the com, �Everybody hold on!� Ettik tugs backwards hard as the docking arm lights up with sparks. In the medical bay Claron sees Tewyn appear in a yellow flash on the floor.
Vincent stays leaning on the wall.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna sees Alexei is busy at the holo-controls, he eyes Luna, �I�d hold on to something��
Vin_Da_DM: As the Ettik heads away from the station you see several of the ships barrages destroy the docking arm and another ship docked at it in a blaze of green explosions.
Luna_Faline enters the bridge and falls into an empty chair watching Alexei. �Get us out of here!�
Claron startles as the flash disrupts her sleep. Cracking her eyes open she sees Tewyn on the floor and begins to hear the babies� cry.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn it...damn it!� Alexei curses as the ship turns and heads for the hyperspace gate. Several shots fly across the bow.
Luna_Faline: �What the hell is going on?� I wonder loudly.
Vincent: �This is�fun,� stands there grinning.
Claron: �What the fuck?� as she tries to soothe both of the twins.
Vin_Da_DM: In the galley the group notices several bright flashes appear next to Shaiya. Each deposits familiar looking cyborgs with guns.
Vin_Da_DM: In the medical bay another flash occurs. Claron sees a familiar looking cyborg, Cain, holding a knife to her throat as he places tag beacons on the babies, who disappear in a white flash. �Move and you�ll be sorry.�
Vincent: �Hehehe, cool.� He charges at one of the cyborgs and rips at it�s neck with his golden claw.
Vin_Da_DM: �Someone�s breached the ship in Galley and Med Bay!� Alexei curses as the Ettik veers to avoid being hit.
Vin_Da_DM: The cyborg falls before Vincent, but he is knocked away by a forceful hit from the other nearby.
Luna_Faline falls to all fours and leaves the bridge to go back to the Med Bay. �How did they get on board?� I growl as I go.
Shaiya looks at the group...�I promised you I would show you my hospitality...The TIME has come that the Fates have dictated will and would happen...The Knights of Purgatory will make you all one of their minions...And NOW you all WILL REAP my JUSTICE!!!!�
Vincent leans back from the blow then rushes towards the other burying the claw in it�s gut.
Vin_Da_DM: With a vile grin Shaiya and the cyborg disappear in white flashes. Vincent finds himself swinging at thin air.
Vincent: �What the hell??�
Vin_Da_DM: Cain looks at Claron with a short grin, �The little ones are ours now.� He turns to the door as Luna approaches, �Kitty, kitty. You�re too late.� Cain sticks his knife into the counter before disappear in a white flash.
Claron lets out a blood curdling scream that can be heard by all throughout the ship, �TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBRRRRRIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!�
Vincent looks around the room. �What the hell just happened?�
Luna_Faline enters the med bay and sees the empty beds. �Where are they?� I call out to Claron, �Are you ok?� I run to her, jumping at the cyborg next to her.
Luna_Faline: �Damn it!!!!� I roar as I land on nothing where Cain had been.
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the attacking ships finish their volley and jump away. Ahead of you the jump gate opens but looks an off color.
Claron: �He took the twins!!!!!! They are gone...I couldn�t stop HIM!�
Vincent looks around noticing that the cyborgs are gone, he sits down with his feet on the table. �Well, I guess this trip won�t be that bad after all.�
Luna_Faline hugs Claron. �We�ll get them back, I promise. They�ll pay for this.�
Vin_Da_DM: The ship�s com blurts to life with RD�s giggling voice again, �A parting gift for my sweet, sweet Warriors. Enjoy the jump...oh dear, I hope your ship makes it through in one piece.� The com fades out with a cackle as Ettik slips into a blazing-red jump gate.
Vincent flicks pieces of the cyborg off his claw.
Vin_Da_DM: All around the ship you hear Ettik moaning in pain as the hyperspace outside begins to rock the ship. The blazing red of hyperspace floods the cafeteria and you all feel a cold chill.
Claron sobs on Luna�s shoulder�Oh God, forgive me...I failed my family!!�
Vin_Da_DM: Where-ever you�ve been sent, you get a very bad feeling...
