Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny - The group was treated to breakfast by Ashton�s staff then lead to a mysterious room in the manor library. There a black portal opened and the group went in, ending up in an abandoned subway station in the southern continent. There they met Eclipse, a Warrior, who was Ashton�s �spy�. Leading them into the production complex they saw the large amount of planes and tanks. They were also introduced to Black Inferno.
Vin_Da_DM: Black Inferno stands with his flamethrower pointed toward you but he seems to be waiting for you to make the first move.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Tewyn looks around, �I�ll take the tin men, if no one else has an idea.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse growls as the mech men�s lasers graze him. Silently the black cat sinks into another pool of shadow.
Claron stands back looking at Black Inferno and his mech men then glances around their surroundings.
Tewyn starts circling around toward the back of the mechs.
Vin_Da_DM: With an audible cackle Black Inferno points his flamethrower at Luna and fires. Within seconds Luna disappears into a shadow and Eclipse rolls to the side of the flame, he looks at the others. �Go, now! I�ll deal with these zombies!�
Tewyn: �HEY, TIN HEADS, OVER HERE!�
Claron looks around to see where the hell they supposed to go.
Tabris lowers his brow as two thin obsidian blades form in his hands, he dodges to the side of Black Inferno.
^Lilly^ looks from her daggers to Black Inferno. Grabbing one she aims it towards his chest hoping it will have an effect.
Vin_Da_DM: The two mech men turn their lasers cannons to bear on Tewyn, loosing a few rounds that make small holes in the ground beneath him.
Claron notices Tewyn making his way behind the mech men.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly�s dagger hits Inferno�s chest, cackling madly he pulls the dagger out. It�s blade now on fire he throws it back at Lilly.
Tewyn smiles, �Why, thank you,� lays his hands on the ground drawing up lava to spray out of the holes toward the mechs.
^Lilly^ looks down at her dagger and looks around for a place to divert him. �Damn, just a time when we could use Cali and she isn�t here.� mumbles to herself.
Claron concentrates on manipulating the minute particles of the mech men�s guns and trying to cause them to backfire into them.
Vin_Da_DM: One of the mech men knocks the other to the side and gets half-melted, bubbling circuits spark before it crumples over. The second�s cannons swivel, then unleash a fury of bolts towards Tewyn.
Luna_Faline hiding in the shadow I watch Inferno noticing his shadow I draw my dagger I pray silently, �Goddess be with us.� I sink into the shadow and come up in his shadow behind him. I plunge my dagger into his throat between his helmet and his armor.
Tewyn pulls up a rock wall trying to blockade the bolts.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s attack causes the gun to jerk, send shots randomly across the field. Vaporizing several tanks, half the outer wall and nearly vaporizing Eclipse as he ducks.
Vin_Da_DM: Black Inferno turns, slamming his flamethrower against Luna. The hole in his neck bleeds flames as he then points his weapon at her again.
Claron shakes her head realizing that was not what she had in mind at all.
Luna_Faline sinks into the shadow once more.
Tewyn forces the rock wall forward toward the last mech running behind it drawing his longsword.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse growls and a large pits of tentacles confuses the zombie remains of the workers as it tears them to pieces.
Luna_Faline appears next to Eclipse crouching low to the ground. �We need some water.�
Tabris strikes at Black Inferno from the side opening more fire wounds in the man. With a short burst of fire he sends Tab back a few feet, his clothing smoking.
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn�s rock wall hits forcefully against the mech men, several holes in it giving him a view of the mech as it topples backward, sparking.
^Lilly^ looks around quickly to see where everyone is checking the distance of Black Inferno and her between the rest of the group.
Tewyn jumps over the wall and swings his blade toward the defenseless head.
Claron uses her steel boomerang concentrating on controlling its aim to cause it to hit the cord that attaches to the flame throwing gun and ripping it out from the power source.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s boomerang hits the cord, snapping it in two. Taking a few steps back Inferno continues to cackle as the flamethrower explodes covering him in layer of fire.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse glances around the area while watching Inferno, �I don�t see any water��
Luna_Faline looks around for a water hose or hydrant.
Claron looks around to see if their is some sort of fire extinguishers still left in this place.
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn�s sword sinks into the mech man�s head, sending a quick jolt along the blade.
Tewyn lets go hair standing on end, �You damn joy buzzer!�
Vin_Da_DM: As the melting clothing falls off Black Inferno you can see him clearly. Any flesh not covered in writhing black fires is burnt to a crisp. With blazing yellow eyes he raises his hands sending two fireballs at Claron and Luna.
Claron looks around for loose dirt.
Claron ducks down as the fireball is thrown.
Luna_Faline reaches down and grabs paws full of dirt to throw at the fireball as I roll away from it.
Tabris curses and Claron hears a fiery slam as Tabris stands in front of her, a large obsidian shield melting at the edges.
Tewyn shakes off the shock and looks toward Black Inferno. �One dirt bath coming up!� slamming his hands down sending a large hand of soil toward Black Inferno.
Claron: �I owe you one, love!� calls up from her kneeling position.
^Lilly^ looks around for the dagger that she threw at Black Inferno. Upon finding it she makes sure it isn�t hot before picking it up and facing Black Inferno who now has his back to her. Attempting once more she throws it at his back.
Vin_Da_DM: The dirt does little to the fireball as it slams into the ground near Luna. Eclipse watches as the blaze sits in front of him, �Talk about close��
Claron concentrates on the dirt to help completely smother Black Inferno.
Tewyn: �Damn! So does anyone know a rain dance?�
Luna_Faline yells at Tewyn, �How about a dirt dance!!!�
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn�s soil hand meets a wall of fire. Behind it Black Inferno jumps onto two tanks that instant set ablaze. Large cannons swivel towards Tewyn, barrels emitting spouts of flame.
Claron: �How bout we terra surf?�
^Lilly^ eyes Tewyn, �Yeah, that would be nice, wouldn�t it?�
Tewyn sinks himself into the ground.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, the Warrior is running away!� Black Inferno screams as the two tank shells create a large crater where Tewyn stood.
Claron scurries to pick up the boomerang that flew back to her after severing the cord on Black Inferno.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly�s dagger sinks into Inferno�s back, kneeling forward he curses. Turning, the dagger continues though him and shoots back toward Lilly, a spear of flame trailing it.
Tewyn peeks his head out of the ground. �You know your aim is LOUSY!� sticking his tongue out.
^Lilly^ moves out of the way.
^Lilly^ looking around, �Can I suggest everyone get out?�
Claron: �Like where the hell we going to go, ^Lilly^?�
Luna_Faline: �There�s not much left to make shadows anymore.�
Tabris: Tossing the melted shield aside it fades into dust. Tabris looks at Inferno and growls, �Damn bastard, can�t even fight fair.�
^Lilly^ focusing, she looks around at all the walls for an opening.
Claron makes her way over to a group of trucks to see if any are water tanks.
Vin_Da_DM: Several small tanks of water are attached to each truck, but Inferno spots Claron and the first truck splits in two as a flaming tank shell hits it.
Tewyn: �Hey! Eclipse can you give her some help over there?!�
Claron concentrates on her own gravity causing herself to go up to the ceiling landing feet first... she runs quickly out of the way away from Black Inferno.
Vin_Da_DM: �Already on it!� Eclipse shouts as several of the water tanks are yanked off by tendrils from their shadows. Quietly the black cat reappears, vertically, halfway up the shaded side of the building, water tanks hanging beside him.
Vin_Da_DM: Inferno turns his other tank cannon toward Luna, sending a flaming shell at her.
Claron runs down the wall behind a couple of the trucks and tries to grab a couple water tanks.
Luna_Faline sees the cannon turning and runs the other way.
Vin_Da_DM: The shell hits ground near Luna, sending her off her feet into the dust. �Hahahahahah! Fire, fire, everywhere and no drink to quench my thirst!�
Tewyn sends a heavy stream of soil toward Black Inferno to draw his attention.
Claron concentrates on the two water canisters she has as she opens up the lids and directs a stream of water onto Black Inferno.
^Lilly^ realizing nothing seems to be appearing she tries harder looking around for a door, or even an area where everyone can run to get out. �Come on, come on�� mumbles to herself.
Luna_Faline runs behind the rubble of Tewyn�s wall and dead mech men.
Vin_Da_DM: While Lilly notices no exit she sees a large group of soldiers heading for the breach in the outer wall.
Luna_Faline growls, �He�s pissin� me off.� flexing my claws.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s streams of water hit Inferno along with the soil stream. He howls loudly before jumping off the tank and onto the other one, which re-ignites his burning flesh.
^Lilly^: �Over here, suckers!� grabs her bow and pulls arrow after arrow aiming at the group of soldiers.
Vin_Da_DM: The first few soldiers fall, arrows sticking out of them. The rest begin to take cover behind the ruined wall and open fire toward Lilly.
^Lilly^ does her best to dodge as she heads for cover trying to avoid Black Inferno.
Luna_Faline hearing the shooting from a new direction I look over the rubble to see the soldiers firing at Lilly.
Claron sees the soldiers and concentrates for a minute to send as many of them flying backwards as she can.
Tabris twirls his blades and makes his way around the back of the tank, looking up at Eclipse he nods then growls.
Luna_Faline sees my sai laying on the ground and runs to get it moving to a new pile of rubble from blown up trucks.
Vin_Da_DM: A few soldiers fly back, their weapons flying into the air. One manages to loose a shot that grazes Lilly�s shoulder before his neck is snapped by Claron�s attack.
Claron: �You okay, ^Lilly^ ?� rushing over to her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Luna, Tabris, attack him now!� Eclipse shouts from the building as his water tanks hit Inferno squarely in the chest, sending him into the dirt, smoking.
Tewyn looks at Black Inferno, �I think your all talk, get off that tank and come get me you coward!�
^Lilly^: �Owwww!� drops her bow and grabs her arm double checking everything. As soon as she notices its ok she grabs her bow and a handful of arrows placing them on the floor grabbing them one by one and shooting back at the remaining soldiers.
Luna_Faline jumps at the yell and runs toward Inferno with my claws bared.
Tabris nods and runs towards Inferno with his swords drawn and swings at him.
Luna_Faline seeing Tabris swing at Inferno I roll under him to try and trip him to bring him off his feet.
^Lilly^ smiles at Claron. �Yup, I�m fine.�
Claron tries placing her hands on ^Lilly^�s arm in effort to heal it.
Claron: �You certain?�
Vin_Da_DM: The remaining soldiers crumple from Lilly�s shots. Inferno writhes on the ground as Tabris� slashes hit him. As Luna trips him he hits the ground with a burst of fire. The fire shoots through the air then �burns� a portal into the side of the building.
Luna_Faline: I continue to roll out of the way. I jump to my feet and see the portal.
Claron sees the portal in the side of the building��I say we make a run for it over into that portal..�
Luna_Faline: �We don�t know where it goes, could be worse.�
Vin_Da_DM: �He�s trying to get away, we�ll have to follow him....look out!� Eclipse beginning running down the side of the building but pauses as several more mech men�s laser blasts begin pot-holing the wall around him.
^Lilly^ smiles again at Claron as she glances at the portal and stands up. �Thanks,� grabs the remaining arrows on the ground and then looks for her loose dagger quickly.
Claron: �It could be better than this!�� feeling drained from the battle and the extra weight of the babies.
Tewyn starts toward the portal.
Claron runs toward the portal.
^Lilly^ glances at the portal as she hears noise and readies her bow grabbing arrows and shooting them at the portal hoping they hit the mark. �Did it work?�
Luna_Faline: �I hate portals!!� I scream as I runs into it.
Luna_Faline: �HEY!� ducking arrows.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly�s arrow melts as it hits the portal. Behind her Lilly hears heavy thuds as a large group of mech men walk over the ruined wall and dead soldiers.
Claron dashes into the portal.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron, like Luna, disappears with a ripple into the fiery portal.
Tabris curses and follows her in.
Tewyn jumps into the portal.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse lands on the ground near the portal and looks at Lilly, lasers begin to make the surrounding area look like Swiss cheese. �Hurry, get in! I�ll close it from this side!�
^Lilly^ backs towards the portal shooting a few arrows at the closer soldiers.
^Lilly^ falls backwards into the portal.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly�s arrows ping! against the armor of the mech men, hissing at them Eclipse manages to snag one of the mech men with shadow tendrils. Lilly ripples into the portal as shadows begin to forcibly shut it.
Vin_Da_DM: After a short period of seeing endless fire and feeling heat you tumble out into a back alley of a futuristic looking city. You can clearly see the fiery blood smeared on the ground and walls as it leads around the corner.
Tewyn yells, �NOW! WHO�S RUNNING?�
Luna_Faline sniffs the area and peeks around the corner of the wall.
^Lilly^ stands up and nods her head, �I�m up for that.�
Claron feels the heat, then it disappears as she sees the blood smeared on the ground.
Luna_Faline: �He�s hurt�� I hiss.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna hears a deep rumbling growl from further down the street, several hover cars are wrecked and in flames. Their occupants are hiding behind them staring with wide eyes.
Luna_Faline: ��and angry, makes a man careless.� I sneak along the wall following the blood trail.
^Lilly^ follows the trail with the group. �That�s a man for you.�
Tabris shakes his head and looks at Claron, �You okay? We should get him while�s he�s injured.�
Tewyn starts trailing the blood and carnage.
Luna_Faline looks around for any other signs of him.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna comes across a young lizard-man with neon green hair watching the remains of his burning yellow sports hover car, looking at Luna he panics! �Don�t hurt me! The flaming dude went down towards the mall!�
Claron looks at Tabris wiping sweat from her brow... �I am fine, and yes, we should nail him while he is in a weakened state...I agree with you there.�
Claron starts following Tabris and the others.
Luna_Faline looks down at the young man. �Do not fear me. Are you alright?�
^Lilly^ walks up to the lizard man behind Luna offering extra support and assurance that they are not going to hurt them.
Luna_Faline: �Is there water at this mall?� I ask the man.
Vin_Da_DM: �Please...what? You�re not going to hurt me?� The lizard man stands up, his dark yellow scales reflecting some of the flame, �Yea, I�m clean. If you�re after that dude, he went that way.� The man points a clawed finger toward a big neon-blue building down the street with more burning cars in front of it.
Luna_Faline nods my head and begins to follow the trail of wreckage at a faster pace.
^Lilly^ eyes the crew, �He said this way.�
Claron tries to keep up with the others as she follows in the direction of the burning cars..
Tabris: "�Man...why�s he trashing these peoples cars? We must have hit him pretty bad.�� Looking around Tabris huffs, �Hope that cat�s ok.�
Claron: �I am seriously having doubts as to whether we have anything to stop him.�
Luna_Faline reaching the mall I pause to study the area.
^Lilly^: �I sure as heck can�t obviously. My daggers didn�t do anything to him...and with him controlling fire, I highly doubt my arrows are going to do much damage.�
Vin_Da_DM: The front of the mall is fairly well kept, except for the melted holes in the front glass doors. The large neon blue sign flashes something in a script which seems to resemble �mall�. Luna sees several bodies lying to the sides, burnt horribly.
Claron looks to see if she can see Tewyn.
Claron: �DON�T tell me he went underground.�
Luna_Faline enters thru the melted doors and looks around. �A place like this must have a sprinkler system.� I growl.
^Lilly^ walks into the mall and checks the walls for a fire alarm of some sort.
Claron approaches the front glass doors...
Tewyn enters the mall.
Vin_Da_DM: As you enter the mall you notice the floor is melted into footprints that wind around the hallway. A scared looking young lizard girl kneels over a few of the bodies, checking pulses. Beyond you hear the sounds of fighting.
Tewyn ears twitch, �This way!� starts running.
Claron sees the Drow entering the mall and goes in.
Luna_Faline follows the wall looking for any thing that can help.
Claron looks at Tabris, �I don�t think I can keep up with this fast pace.�
^Lilly^ looks over to Luna. �Find anything yet?�
Claron clutches her stomach as she tries to keep up with the rest of the Warriors.
Luna_Faline growls, �Lilly there has to be a central control for all the buildings systems. Keep looking,� as I run on after Inferno.
Vin_Da_DM: At the end of the hallway the mall opens up into a ten story courtyard. Halfway up you see a ball of flame shooting fireballs at one of the glass elevators. From inside the elevator several ice shards shoot back out to intercept.
^Lilly^ continues to look around for a central unit. �Where are you??�
Tewyn slows and watches the fight. �Hey, someone on our side!�
Luna_Faline enters the open area of the mall and looks around for a fountain or penny pool. �Where is it? They all have one�� I mumble.
Vin_Da_DM: �Come on out you stupid Warrior! Damn witch!� Black Inferno�s angry voice echoes off the balconies. Small piles of burning blood are sitting below him on the floor.
Claron: �He is not alone..� whispers seeing several ice shards come out of the elevator... instantly in Claron�s mind her thoughts turn to her sister Clarice.
Claron stops and leans against a wall watching.
Tewyn starts heading up the steps, �Oh, your about to be extinguished little man!�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna locates the fountain in the courtyard. Half of the glass structure is melting and the water has leaked out onto the floor.
^Lilly^ looks up and down the walls and when she still find nothing, she gets an idea. Looking at the wall she focuses.
Luna_Faline spots a small pool across the way and runs to stand in front of it. �HEY!! Why you run away like that?� I yell at Inferno.
Vin_Da_DM: Growling, Inferno is clearly ignoring you as more fireballs and ice shards are exchanged.
Luna_Faline unties my robe and lets it fall into the water on the floor. Once it�s well soaked I pick it up and run toward Inferno with it in front of me. I try throwing it up over his head as I run past him.
Claron: �Tewyn, now might be a good time to sink the ground under Black Inferno,� yells out.
Tewyn reaches the third floor and picks up his pace to reach the fifth.
Vin_Da_DM: While Luna�s throw isn�t nearly enough the robe flies into the air toward the elevator. �Time to end this you foul creature!� A woman�s voice sounds from the glass elevator then is followed by chanting.
Vin_Da_DM: The water from Luna�s cloak flows out and surrounds Inferno. Freezing him he plunges to the ground and impales on the fountain. Stream of fire flood across the floor, then stop, as Inferno breaths his last.
Luna_Faline: �Glad to help.� I purr as I look up at the elevator. Wiping off my fur.
^Lilly^ arrives behind the others just as Inferno falls to his death. �Wow, what happened?�
Claron stands off to the side as she sees the action unfold before her...then avoiding the stream of fire, makes her way towards the impaled Black Inferno.
Tewyn looks up trying to spot the woman.
Vin_Da_DM: On the fifth floor the elevator doors open and a young woman with flowing black hair steps out and looks over the balcony to check her work. Noticing you, she smiles and begins to head down the stairs.
^Lilly^ glances up as a woman appears from the elevator and makes her way down to them. �Umm, wow...what did I miss?�
Tabris walks over to Inferno, stepping over the flaming blood stream and pokes him, �You sure he�s dead, lady?�
Tewyn watches Shaiya walk down. �Thanks for the help.�
Shaiya makes her way down and stops before Tewyn... smiling softly and in a near whisper, �I have plans for you, Drow.�
Claron looks at Tabris, �It appears he is dead.�
Tewyn ears twitch and cocks his head �Huh, what? Squeeze me?�
Vin_Da_DM: Inferno�s body begins to vanish into red mist, just as the Beast�s, leaving the remains of the fountain blood smeared and melting under the fire.
^Lilly^ walks in and looks at the woman. �Hi!�
Shaiya: �Anytime, Drow�I�ll squeeze ya right now if you like.�
Tewyn: �I think a name would be nice first.�
Luna_Faline sighs heavily, then looks around the mall shops. �Wonder if I can get a new set of clothes in trade for saving the rest of them?� I mumble to myself.
Shaiya: �I am Shaiya Elinae of Goldspire.... and you are?�
Tabris: �Tabris, thanks for knocking off Mr. Fireball.� Tabris smirks and hooks his arm over Claron�s shoulder, then feels her belly with his other hand.
Tewyn: �I am Tewyn Sion of the Deadlands.�
^Lilly^ smiles and nods, �Lilly...Lilly Cutterdale.�
Shaiya: �Pleased to meet you�� smiles seductively at Tewyn.
Luna_Faline: �I�m Luna Faline, servant of the Goddess Selenia.� I purr as I bow to Shaiya.
Claron: Smiling at Tabris as he places his hand on her belly...�All this battling...has caused me to work up an appetite.�
^Lilly^ noticing her attention on Tewyn she slightly rolls her eyes and stands watching the others introduce themselves.
Vin_Da_DM: From outside the mall you hear sirens of emergency vehicles, the young lizard-girl from the hallway watches you quietly as firefighter and medic drones begin tending to the fires and wounded.
Shaiya smiles back at Luna_Faline then looks at the halfling... �and the halfling is?�
^Lilly^: �Why is it everyone calls me a halfling. I do have a name.� sighs.
Luna_Faline growls lightly, �Her name is Lilly,� beginning to become irritated by the halfling comments myself.
Shaiya: �Sorry, ^Lilly^ Cutterdale, afraid something caught my eye.�
Tabris: �Course you do short-stuff, but it�s so much fun to make fun of you.� Tabris sticks his tongue out at Lilly, then watches the drones as they buzz about.
Shaiya notices Tabris with his arm around a very pregnant woman, �And who might they be?�
Luna_Faline shakes my head and moves away toward the young girl. �Are you alright?�
^Lilly^ looks at Luna. �Me or her?�
Vin_Da_DM: The young girl looks at Luna and nods. Smiling she hands Luna back her slightly moist robe.
Luna_Faline waves a paw over my shoulder at Lilly. �You�re fine.� I purr.
^Lilly^ nods, �Only sometimes, Luna.�
Tewyn starts heading back down the stairs.
Luna_Faline takes my robe from the girl. �Thank you.� bowing slightly, �I thought that was gone.� as I shake it out and slip it back on.
^Lilly^ giggles, �Ummm, Luna, you sure you wanna put that back on?�
Vin_Da_DM: The girl smiles again, then dashes off after a set of medic-drones carrying an injured human boy out on a stretcher.
Luna_Faline watches the girl leave, then turns back to Lilly. �Why not?�
^Lilly^: �Well, it was just touched by Black Inferno, wasn�t it?��
Luna_Faline looks down at it. �I don�t think so.�
Shaiya walks gracefully beside Tewyn.��My work is done here, tis a great day now that fiery flame has been extinguished. How can I thank you and your group for sending him to me, so I could fulfill my destiny and rid this universe of him?�
Vin_Da_DM: A tall white medic drone walks up to the edge of the group and looks you over. �Is anybody injured?� Eyeing Claron it�s red-eyes blink, �Miss, do you require hospital assistance?�
Tewyn: �Don�t thank us�thank Goddess Selenia and Ashton Jr.�
^Lilly^: �Oh, okay,� whispers to Luna. �You think she could be a destined??�
Luna_Faline turns from Lilly to study Claron. I answer Lilly, �Yes�� softly.
Claron looks at the medic drone��I don�t think so�� looks over at Tab��I feel perfectly fine.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You sure, Babe?� Tabris looks at Claron concerned.
Shaiya: �Oh yes, Selenia....I should thank her properly� and who is this Ashton you speak of?�
Vin_Da_DM: The medic drone nods, then moves over to Lilly. Seeing the graze on her arm he looks at her, �Miss, do you require assistance?�
^Lilly^ glances at the medic and then back to her shoulder. �Um, I don�t know�it don�t seem to be bad��
Tewyn: �One that was tracking him from the northern continent. He sent us to help one of his Warriors.�
Claron: �I am sure�I am starving though...unless you want to have a doctor check me out...I feel perfectly ravenous.�
^Lilly^: �I mean like Claron, if you�d like to check me out...its your choice...but, umm, yeah, I mean it was just a graze, could use some bandaging up so it heals but�� shrugs, �I don�t know.�
Vin_Da_DM: The drone pulls out a spray bottle and mists Lilly�s wound. Within a few seconds the graze is gone, the drone wipes her shoulder with a cloth then nods. �Repair�s complete.� It then walks away.
Shaiya: �I see�� quietly slips her arm through Tewyn�s arm��Now, if you and your group would like to follow me home��
Luna_Faline watching the drone treat Lilly�s wound, �That was faster than I could have done it,� I purrumble.
^Lilly^ smiles, �Umm, thanks.� Looks at Luna and nods, �Maybe,� follows Shaiya.
Tewyn ears twitch as Shaiya slips her arm through his��Ummm, yea, I guess we will.�
Luna_Faline wonders, �Does home include an empty bed, by chance?�
Luna_Faline thinks, �I could sure use a nap.�� yawning slightly.
Shaiya: �That and much more.�
Tabris looks at Claron, �If you�re feeling fine for now. But I think we should visit a doctor in the morning.�
Shaiya: �Follow me�� then walks outside arm and arm with Tewyn, hailing a cab with her free hand.
Claron: �What ever you say, dear.�
Luna_Faline follows Tewyn and Shaiya to the curb thinking, �He sure can catch �em quick.�
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the mall most of the flaming wrecks have been removed. A large helicopter picks up the few remaining with a giant claw and moves them into a large dump truck.
Claron leans her head into Tabris and places a kiss on his cheek.
Tewyn: �Now what are these plans you talk of...and why me?�
Vin_Da_DM: It takes a moment but a large green hover-taxi shows up and stops in front of you. The window rolls down and a dred-locked lizard looks at you. �Hop in da� back mon. Where to �friends?�
Shaiya steps in the cab��1450 Elmond Place.�
Luna_Faline climbs in the back seat and smoothes down my mane.
Tewyn steps in.
Tabris: �A taxi...it�s been a while. Been used to having our own ship to ferry us around.� Tabris gets the cab and snuggles Claron as she sits next to him.
Shaiya slides into her seat. �Seems Fate has brought us all together, so for now, I will extend my hospitality to you all...First things first...there is much we shall discuss.� smiling at Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: �Okie-dokey.� The taxi driver shifts the wheel and punches the address into his fare-computer. �Train�s a�leavin, best get in �sistah.� He looks at Lilly with a grin.
Luna_Faline hums the pokey-pokey tune softly as I watch Tewyn and Shaiya.
^Lilly^ looks into the cab and slides in.
Vin_Da_DM: The taxi doors close and the car speeds off down the street. Outside you see dozens of tall buildings and business fly by.
Shaiya leans in closer to Tewyn then whispers in his ear...�I have been waiting for you for a very long, long time.�
Shaiya looks at Tabris and Claron...�Your lady friend will get the best of care, I promise you both that.�
Tewyn starts turning blue. �Waiting for me...what would make you wait for me?...you�ve never even heard of me.�
Tabris: �My WIFE will be just fine.� Tabris gives Shaiya a look then smiles at Claron.
Shaiya chuckles in a low raspy voice...�I know many things that have yet to come to pass.�
Tewyn: �If you say so, lady.�
^Lilly^ shrinks in the shadows afraid of what she might know about her and her past.
Shaiya smiles knowingly, �Its not much further.�
Vin_Da_DM: As the taxi turns down a street it slows. As it comes to a stop in front of a large gardened apartment complex, the cab driver looks back at Shaiya. �Dat�ll be fifty-t�ree mon.� A small credit slot slides open on the dash.
Shaiya turns her palm up and 60 rubles appear in her hand... smiling at the driver she hands them to him.
^Lilly^ watches Shaiya pay the driver.
Luna_Faline opens the door next to me and steps out looking up at the apartment building.
Vin_Da_DM: Taking the rubles he nods, �A cash lady, thank you very much!� The driver slides the rubles into a open hole next to the credit slot. �Watch ja step!�
Tewyn steps out.
Luna_Faline lands on my feet as cats always do.
Shaiya opens up the door, smiling she offers her hand to Tewyn as she starts to disembark.
Tewyn takes Shaiya hand.
^Lilly^ opens slips out of one of the doors and stands next to the taxi and waits for everyone.
Vin_Da_DM: The apartment building is easily thirty stories tall, each floor having terraces with blooming plants and vines. A dark blue drone notices you and holds the door open. �Good evening, Miss Shaiya.�
Shaiya: �Evening�� as she leads the others in and heads straight for the elevator.
Tewyn: �So, you got the big place on top?�
Luna_Faline looks around as I follow Shaiya to the elevator.
Shaiya: �Yes, the penthouse suite.�
^Lilly^ walks behind Luna to the elevator. �Hmmm, penthouse. Ritzy.�
Tabris whistles as he looks up at the building, �Man...why is everybody�s house nicer than ours, Babe?�
Shaiya: �As well as the floor beneath it.�
Claron: �Maybe because we are too busy wandering around.�
Tabris: Entering the elevator Tabris looks at everyone, then at Shaiya, �Thanks for letting us stay over.�
^Lilly^: �Good point Claron,� giggles slightly.
Luna_Faline: �I�m purrfectly happy at the Temple myself,� as I step onto the elevator.
Shaiya looks at Tewyn, �The top floor is my living quarters, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms, while on the floor below there is a swimming pool, sauna, meditation room, library, as well as servants quarters.�
^Lilly^ under her breath, �Well, I wonder why, she�s got a crush on Tewyn?� mumbles.
Tewyn: �Sounds a bit fancy.�
Tewyn eyes ^Lilly^, �You jealous over there, halfling?�
^Lilly^ looks slightly disgusted. �Me jealous? Don�t flatter yourself!�
Vin_Da_DM: Inside the elegant elevator a wooden panel slides open with a hand scanner and floor number screen. �Floor and identification please.� A pleasant voice sounds from the console.
Shaiya: �Tis the least I can do... and seems your wife could use a respite,� as she
slides her hand in front of the scanner.
Tewyn looks at Shaiya, �I think the half breed over there is a bit angry at the attention you have showed me.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Thank you. Proceeding to 31st floor.� The panel slides shut and the elevator begins to ascend silently. Classical music plays from a speaker in the ceiling panel.
Shaiya: �Oh....well, I�d be glad to share my attentions with you too, ^Lilly^ Cutterdale.�
^Lilly^ shocked, �Umm, What??!!!!�
Shaiya laughs, �Have you never enjoyed a woman?�
Vin_Da_DM: With a soft ding the elevator stops and the door opens into a very fancy lobby. White doors sit at the end of the room, and wall-sized glass windows overlook the swimming pool one floor below on the south wall.
Shaiya steps out of the elevator walking towards the white doors.
Luna_Faline follows her quietly.
Tewyn looks around, �Well, you do live it up, don�t ya?�
^Lilly^: �Ummm, no� and I really don�t want to.�
Shaiya: �Afraid this is meager compared to where I used to live.�
Shaiya waits in front of the doors to her penthouse.
Vin_Da_DM: As Shaiya approaches the doors they part and disappear into the walls. Inside is an equally fancy dining room and kitchen. A 3d holographic television is playing a cooking show and you can hear a voice humming.
Shaiya: �Tis a pity, ^Lilly^, there is much I could teach you.�
Tewyn: �Well, I�m used to living in holes, and tree trunks.�
^Lilly^: �Um. Yeah.� eyes wander.
Shaiya enters and stands back with one arm extended in gesture of welcoming them all into her home. �Feel free to make yourselves at home.�
Luna_Faline looks around for a place to curl up and sleep.
Shaiya whispers in a low voice, �I have lived in my fair share of them, too.�
Tewyn: �Well honey, you sure moved on up.�
^Lilly^ stands near the door not knowing what to do.
Shaiya walks into her living room...hits the buzzer to beckon her servant, �But first we shall have food and discuss the future. You will be in need of new weapons�Yes?�
Vin_Da_DM: At the kitchen island a slender lizard-man with neon red hair in a ponytail is cooking something, he turns his head at the buzzer, �Miss Shaiya! You�ve brought guests...shall I prepare more food?�
Tewyn: �New weapons already?�
Shaiya: �Yes�and serve it in the living room. We have business to discuss, Remus.�
Luna_Faline spots a big comfy chair and settles on it to snooze lightly as I listen to the conversation.
^Lilly^ looks for a place to sit.
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course, Misstress. Would you like the Sharri Blue to drink this evening?�
Tewyn finds a seat.
Shaiya settles herself down on her overstuffed sofa patting her hand for Tewyn to sit beside her. �I know of the best shop on Knottingwood Lane for you to supply yourselves�� turning to look at Remus, �Of course, Remus.�
Tewyn looks at Shaiya, �Well, okay, guess I can sit there.�
Tabris looks around the penthouse with awe then casually takes a seat on a chair and pats his lap for Claron to sit on.
Claron sits down on Tabris lap.
^Lilly^ sits down next to Luna and lays on her back.
Shaiya smiles as Tewyn sits down next to her. �One always need to upgrade their equipment.�
Tabris: Grinning he tilts Claron back and rests her head on his shoulder, �That�s better. Now what�s this about discussing and shopping?�
Luna_Faline wonders sleepily, �Who runs it, Robin Hood?� as I shift position to make more room for Lilly.
^Lilly^ sits up and slides in next to Luna getting comfortable.
Claron leans back making herself more comfortable on Tabris� lap.
Vin_Da_DM: Remus walks into the living room with a tray of assorted food and sets it on the coffee table. Setting a bottle of azure-tinted wine and empty glasses he bows his head to Shaiya and goes back to the kitchen.
Shaiya slides her hand onto Tewyn�s thigh squeezing it gently��I can also recommend a bank that will trade money...but first�� reaching for the wine carafe begins to pour out wine into each of the glasses.
^Lilly^ grabs a few munchies off of the platter and stuffs them in her mouth.
Tewyn jumps slightly, �Don�t think I�m on the platter.�
Shaiya smiles as Tewyn jumps, �You are on my platter, for certain�� then turns to look at the others, �Once you have equipped yourselves I have something of the utmost importance to relay to you concerning Daegriss.�
Luna_Faline ear twitches at the name �Daegriss�.
Vin_Da_DM: At Shaiya�s mention of Daegriss a chill seems to spread then fade.
Vin_Da_DM: As you enjoy the food and drink and eventual sleep, you wonder just what Shaiya has to tell you.
