Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Stuck in the prison cell aboard Dreadnaught One, one of Shaiya�s warships, the group continued to think over their situation. Stryder returned to the cell and took Claron for �questioning� which was less dangerous than it seemed.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder talked with Claron, eventually telling her that he would escape with them. After a troubling conversation Clarice managed to break Shaiya�s hold over Tewyn. Meanwhile onboard the Ettik, Katie and Eclipse managed to overpower the guards in the Medical Bay.
Vin_Da_DM: As Katie and Eclipse fought their way into the ship the group began to fight their way out. They eventually met and headed back to the ship. With numerous guards pursuing them the group was aided by Stryder who used his ability to �shimmer� to fight the guards.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder and Clarissa appeared on the Ettik�s bridge, suggesting using a hyperspace jump to escape. After Ettik managed to break free of the ship�s airlock Alexei opened a hyperspace window inside the ship, causing its eventual destruction. This window is now sending them to an unknown location.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile Shaiya watched as Dreadnaught One imploded with Recluse reporting the situation to her. Now with-child Shaiya sent Recluse to contact someone named Sarasvati whose services she soon required.
Vin_Da_DM: As the bright colors of hyperspace flow past Ettik�s many view ports the gentle hum from both inside and out drift in the air.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: Clarissa sits at a table in the galley as Stryder and Tabris enter. Clarissa narrows her gaze at Tabris before shifting it to Stryder as he approaches her.
Luna_Faline turns around in the shower, letting the warm water flow down my back.
^Shinta jumps up from his sleep, �OK! OK! Kyo, I hear you!� Running out of his room toward Med Bay.
Claron and Clarice enter Claron and Tab�s quarters.
^Shinta burst into Med Bay, �Luna_Faline! Luna_Faline!�
Vin_Da_DM: Peeking his head into the medical bay Eclipse looks at Shinta from his spot on the ceiling, �She�s not here, she went to her quarters.�
Claron sits down on the bed motioning to Clarice to have a seat also. �I still am having trouble believing that it is really you, Clarice.�
^Shinta looks at Eclipse, �It�s Katie, she needs medical attention again.�
Vin_Da_DM: �She does? Quickly, get back to her! I�ll go get Luna,� Eclipse nods to Shinta before jumping off the ceiling and into his shadow on the floor.
Claron continues, �When I came out of deep freeze, I was told that you had been killed helping Tewyn and Shinta to escape from the Evil Organization.�
^Shinta exits and runs to Katie�s room.
Tabris watches the twins quietly before stepping forward, �Awfully quiet, you two.�
Luna_Faline runs my paws over my fur, rinsing the soap off.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse skitters out of a shadow in Luna�s quarters and looks around, �Luna? You here?�
Clarice: �It is somewhat complicated, Sis. I was to supposed to die, but our mother, she got wind of what our dear Father had planned for both of us. For once, Mom actually stood up for us.�
Luna_Faline ears twitching, �I�m in the shower. Who�s out there?�
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s me,� tilting his head Eclipse looks into the bathroom, �Shinta�s trying to find you. He says something is wrong with Katie.�
^Shinta enters Katie�s room and goes over to her and holds her. �We got to get you fixed, kiddo.�
Luna_Faline turns off the shower and grabs a towel. Drying off quickly, �Where is she?� I grab my robe and pull it on, not bothering to put on my boots, I step out of the bathroom.
Claron looks at Clarice with interest, �I don�t...I...never knew either of our parents�I believed them to be dead also. Well...at least until Tewyn gave me the disks you had made��
Vin_Da_DM: Katie lies unconscious, shifting slightly to show that she is dreaming in her sleep.
Vin_Da_DM: �He didn�t say. Might try her room though,� Eclipse watches Luna carefully.
Luna_Faline: �You go help Shinta take her to Med Bay, I�ll meet you there,� running my paws thru my mane. I give Eclipse a sly look as I pull my robe closed and tie my belt.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder leans back, rubbing his temple lightly after the long silence. Clarissa glares at him then storms out of the galley, shoving Tabris to the side.
Claron: �It seems our great grandmother and my dear uncle lied to me about them, too...I always wanted to know how you came about learning that I existed?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course,� Eclipse sinks into Luna�s shadow and reappears behind Shinta. �Luna said we need to take her to the med bay.�
^Shinta picks Katie up, �Okay�lets get her there.�
Luna_Faline runs down the hall in my bare feet toward the med bay.
Vin_Da_DM: �This is going to take a while. She was more easily swayed by Shaiya,� Stryder sighs at Tabris.
Tabris: �Well, what can I do to help?� Tabris shrugs at Stryder and sits next to him.
^Shinta starts to carry Katie toward Med Bay.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows after Shinta, looking over Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: In the medical bay Luna notices two crabs fixing the broken bio tank. The troopers body�s vaporized, are gone as a third is cleaning up black smoke marks from the floor.
Luna_Faline looks around the med bay judging the damage. Stepping carefully around the crabs, I move to get a bed ready, turning on the scanner unit.
^Shinta enters Med Bay seeing Luna_Faline, �She went into that comatose state again.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure...it�s hard enough getting her to talk to me mentally, much less verbally.� Stryder studies his father.
Vin_Da_DM: The holographic scanning system lights up above the medical bed.
Luna_Faline glances over at Shinta, �Put her here, let�s see what the system says.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse moves over to the counter and crouches on it, watching Shinta and Luna with Katie.
^Shinta places Katie down.
Clarice moves from her chair to sit next to Claron on the bed. Taking Claron�s hand in her own, �I didn�t know till I joined the EO. I was very good with my technical computer training. I actually managed to get into some files I wasn�t suppose to... It was then that I learned the man I grew up believing was Mom�s friend was actually our Father�He was very high up in the EO.�
Clarice: �So, I questioned Mom and learned the truth, the same truth I explained to you on the disks.�
Luna_Faline touches the screen and then watches the scanner work. �I�m not much good at helping with illness� of the mind,� I sigh, rubbing my arms.
Vin_Da_DM: The scanner begins to build a holographic model of Katie hovering above her starting from her bones. Several odd devices appear in her muscular layer but the scanner doesn�t seem to make note of them.
^Shinta watches, �I think it is more than that��
Vin_Da_DM: As the model fully completes, it gives a soft beep then shows several cerebral scans with abnormal mental activity.
Luna_Faline looks closer at the scans. �I don�t know what is going on. Is she fighting demons in her sleep?�
Clarice: �I knew I had to find you. What I didn�t count on was the extreme measures our Father would employ once I defected.�
Tabris: �Well, we just have to keep trying.� Tabris rests his hand on Stryder�s shoulder and looks at him, �So. Looks like we�ve got some catching up to do.�
Luna_Faline moves to look at the model, �What are those?� Pointing to the things in her muscles.
Vin_Da_DM: Another holographic screen pops up with extensive amounts of text on it, all in a language Luna cannot read.
Luna_Faline looks at the writing for a minute, �Can either of you read this?�
Claron looks perplexed, �What do you mean?...Extreme measures?�
^Shinta studies the writing for a moment.
Vin_Da_DM: �Umm�� Eclipse looks at the screen, then blinks and shrugs, �I can�t. But there might be someone who can.�
Luna_Faline: �Who are you thinking of?� I ask Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: The writing looks complex to Shinta, several letters jumbled together forming apparent words and sentences.
Vin_Da_DM: �Alexei. I mean, he�s basically a part of the ship, right?� Eclipse tilts his head at Luna.
^Shinta shakes his head, �I would need too much to decipher it.�
Luna_Faline: �Well, along that line of thinking...why don�t I just ask the ship then?� I chuckle. �Ettik? Can you translate this screen please?�
Vin_Da_DM: The holographic screen beeps several times as the data begins to scramble and rearrange itself on the screen. After several minutes it translates into common, with words in different locations but understandable.
Luna_Faline begins to read the screen again...
Vin_Da_DM: A small picture of the device pops up next to the text. It explains in detail their workings as enhancement devices. Making whatever system they�re attached to more resilient and easily healed.
Luna_Faline: �Very interesting,� I purrmumble. �Where did she get those?� I wonder. Touching the screen to check for toxins.
Clarice remains silent for a moment pondering how much she should tell Claron and whether or not it would be better to explain that to Claron, Tab and Tewyn at the same time. �Well, Father...discovered what an advantage it would be to have me with the Military Organization�Sis, there are things that I need to say not just to you, but to Tewyn and Tabris, things that I am afraid will reflect badly on me.�
A quick ripples flows over the holographic model. A small readout shows no identifiable toxins but several odd notations of a untranslatable substance.
Vin_Da_DM: �I have no idea what most of that is talking about,� Eclipse watches the screen from his perch on the counter.
^Shinta: �Nor do I.�
Luna_Faline: �Ettik? Can you work out a translation on that read out for me, please?� I ask the ship. Turning to look at Shinta, �Where has she been? What happened to her?�
Vin_Da_DM: The hologram beeps but then gives a red flash at Luna as the read out remains not translated.
Claron starts to nod her head, �I think, we all have done things that make us look bad, or cause us to be misunderstood from time to time. I know I have regretted things I have said and not said to Tewyn.�
Luna_Faline looks at the screen again, then sighs, �I don�t think I can do anything for her at this point. Time may be the only thing that will help.�
^Shinta: �Lets hope that�s all that is needed.�
Claron: �And regrettably there have been times I have doubted both your�s and Tewyn�s sincerity.�
Vin_Da_DM: One of the crabs chitters at Luna as it climbs up the medical table. Crawling carefully across Katie it places a small circular device in between her collarbones at the top of her chest.
Luna_Faline looks at Shinta for a moment. �You seem to be better able to handle the problems of the mind and soul. I can only heal flesh.� Watches the crab as it crawls over Katie. �What is that?�
Vin_Da_DM: The crab looks at Luna, chitters then disappears with the other crabs as they leave the Med Bay. The holographic display lights up with several more in-depth paragraphs about the bio-readings stabilizer.
^Shinta: �When she is ready, I think I may.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So. That�s all we can do for her?� Eclipse looks at the device as he hops off the counter.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron hears a soft set of knocks on the doors to her quarters.
Luna_Faline nods in response to Shinta as I read the screen. �I need to go back to school. I don�t know what all this new medical stuff is.� Sighing, I turn to Eclipse, �Yes, I think she will have to rest here for now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well. Now what do we do?� Eclipse moves over to the door and steps out into the hallway looking back at Shinta and Luna.
^Lilly^ shoots up and screams. Her eyes dart around as she pants trying to figure out where she is�and what happened. Sweat rolls down her forehead. �Oh, my god�not again!� Getting up she walks to the bathroom and takes a shower.
^Shinta: �Let her rest, her mind is in turmoil...When she wakes I may have no choice put to forcefully bring out the memories trying to get out now.�
Clarice stands up, hesitates for a second then turns around to look back at Claron. �Our Father wanted us both dead.�
^Lilly^ walking out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel she sighs as she looks at the bed, and then her notebook. �God, I wish you hadn�t done that...I miss you so much��
Vin_Da_DM: The knock on Claron�s door sounds again.
Claron looks stunned, then manages to call out, �Enter.�
Luna_Faline: �Wait, just wait,� I purrsigh as I follow Eclipse to the door. �How are you? Did you have enough time in the tank?� I ask Eclipse placing a paw on his shoulder.
^Shinta sits by Katie, �What�s going inside that head of yours, kiddo? Maybe Kyo was right, its time that you see him and have that talk you have both wanted for a long time.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks in as the door opens, �I�m sorry if I�m interrupting.� He looks directly at Claron, �I found your daughter trying to rig the transporter. I had to lock her in empty quarters.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks down at his chest, small black scar covering the wound, �Long enough I suppose.�
Claron looks at Alexei, �Great, just what we need...Thanks for telling me, you did right by locking her in her quarters...Well, at least for now.�
^Lilly^: Getting dressed she grabs her notebook and opens her door. Looking both ways she turns towards the bridge.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure how long she�ll stay in there. But it�s two corridors down,� Turning he steps out into the hallway, �If she�s still yelling and cursing, you shouldn�t have trouble finding her.� Alexei states.
Luna_Faline: I take his arm gently, �I�m famished, care for something to eat?� I purr softly.
Clarice stifles a laugh. �Looks as if the apple doesn�t fall very far from the tree,� she whispers.
Claron nods her head, �Thank you again, Alexei.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods then heads off. Entering the bridge he looks at Lilly, �Lilly? Is everything all right?�
^Lilly^ opens the door to the bridge and looks in. Hearing her name she turns to see Alexei behind her. �Yeah...um�� She hangs her head and turns away.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well. I�d be glad to join you, can�t promise I�ll eat though,� Eclipse smirks lightly at Luna.
Claron looks at Clarice, �Maybe��
Vin_Da_DM: �What�s the matter?� Alexei moves closer to her, �Is there something you wanted?�
Luna_Faline walks with Eclipse to the galley. �I�m concerned,� I whisper. �I haven�t had any contact with my mistress in ages.�
^Lilly^: �Just company mainly...guess you could say I had a bad dream...or maybe it was a nightmare.�
Clarice interrupts Claron. �Better find that man of yours and her brother.� Clarice smiles as she starts to head out the door. �Coming, Claron?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, that does seem to be odd,� Eclipse looks at Tabris and Stryder as he and Luna enter the galley, �Maybe there�s a good reason?�
Luna_Faline: �I don�t know. I�m very...uneasy.� Purrsigh quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Care to talk about it? Ettik always needs talking to after a bad dream,� Alexei places a hand softly on Lilly�s shoulder.
Tabris looks up from his spot at the table, �Hey, Luna. Haven�t seen my cranky daughter by chance?�
^Lilly^: Looking up at him fresh tears escape my eyes and she leans against him, wrapping her arms around him. �It wasn�t really a dream...more a reoccurring memory.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Cranky is an understatement, Dad,� Stryder comments as he stands up and gets something to eat.
Claron follows Clarice out of the room. �We should try the galley first, unless you would like to find your elf?�
Luna_Faline: �No, lucky for her,� I purrumble. �Hello, Stryder,� as I move to the replicator. Pushing a few buttons I remove a plate of tuna steaks a pitcher of cold cream and 2 glasses.
Vin_Da_DM: Patting Lilly gently on the back Alexei looks at her, �Is it about your brother?�
Luna_Faline moving to a table I look at Eclipse invitingly. �Sit with me?�
^Lilly^ eyes widen at the mention of him, and she nods her head, not moving from her embrace, in fact she holds him closer. She sighs and pulls away looking up at Alexei.
Clarice smiles as she thinks about her elf, �Yes, I do believe he is waiting for me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder nods to Luna before going back to Tabris with food for both of them.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse grins and sits across the table from Luna, �Of course.�
Claron: �Then go to him.�
Luna_Faline pouring a glass of cream I look at him with an raised brow, �Care for a drink?�
Claron heads off in the direction of the galley without another word.
^Lilly^ sighing she nods her head. �Yes, but how did you know?�
Clarice heads two doors down to the left, pauses in front of Tewyn�s room then knocks softly.
Tewyn: �Come in.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Memories are strange things. The more frequent you remember, the more it means to you,� Alexei looks at Lilly, �What few I have from before...I hold close.�
Luna_Faline: �I had a disturbing dream the last time I slept. Aventine had been attacked, Mistress was captured. The only other soul left was the gardener who was wounded in more ways than I can judge,� I sigh.
^Lilly^ looking down, she sighs. �Well, um...do you want to know?�
Claron enters the galley spotting Tabris and Stryder sitting together. A smile crosses her lips as she approaches them.
Vin_Da_DM: �If you�d like to tell me,� Alexei casually crosses his arms over his chest.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hey Babe, done with the girl talk?� Tabris grins as he stands up, hugs and kisses Claron.
Tewyn looks at Clarice as she enters. �Pick up that paper while your at it.�
^^Katie^^�s eyelids flutter, then flicker open, as she tries to focus on the ceiling.
Clarice chuckles as she runs over and wraps her arms around Tewyn, �Pick up your own damn paper.�
^Shinta startles at ^^Katie^^�s awakening. �Take it easy there, kiddo.�
^Lilly^: �Well...um�it started out where we were hanging out. My brother and I used to do everything together, especially after our parents died. He was my only family. Then he found this girl.� Her tone changes and she grits her teeth as she talks. �She stole him...they began doing everything together, then he proposed to her and they moved away, leaving me alone...but anyway in the dream it goes from us being happy to me coming home one day.�
Vin_Da_DM: �That�s interesting? What else did you see?� Eclipse leans forward, shaking his head at Luna�s offer of a drink.
Tewyn smiles at Clarice, �Isn�t my paper...someone pushed it under the door.�
^Lilly^: �To him embracing me. Then his wife comes out pregnant and I freak out and tell him I hate him...and I wake up sweating...and yeah��
Claron looks at Tab as she slides into her seat. �No, not quite...Seems Clarissa was found by Alexei trying to rig the transporter...She�s been locked in an empty room.�
^^Katie^^ looks over at Shinta, �Why am I always waking up in here? The decor sucks.� She swallows with difficulty. �Could I have some water?�
Luna_Faline shrugs and takes a deep drink of the cream, putting the glass down I lick cream slowly off my lips. �She was being held hostage, dead or about to be, I couldn�t tell. I couldn�t reach her before I woke up.�
^Shinta: �Cause you keep passing out on us.� Looks around for some water.
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting,� Alexei watches Lilly, �Sounds like a very emotional moment.�
^Lilly^: �I don�t really hate him...just, umm, I lost my family cuz of her...and that�s why I ended up here...cuz I ran away from home.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sounds like Sis all right,� Stryder looks at Claron then Tabris.
Clarice looks surprised...�Oh�� Releases her arms from around Tewyn�s neck and goes over to where the paper is, bends over and picks up the paper then returns back to Tewyn and hands it to him. �Must be yours.�
Tewyn opens the paper.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, you may have lost that family. But you have a new one with your friends,� Alexei places his hand on Lilly�s shoulder again, �And they care about you.�
^^Katie^^�s eyes finally focus and she sits up gingerly.
^Shinta finds some water and gives a glass to ^^Katie^^.
^Lilly^ looks up at Alexei. �Right now...it seems your the only one that does.�
^Vincent^ puts his shirt and jacket back on and leaves the room.
Tabris: Sighing Tabris looks at Claron, �Looks like we�ll have to talk with her.�
^^Katie^^ sips gingerly at the water, then smiles gratefully.
^^Katie^^: �How long was I out THIS time?�
^Vincent^ walks slowly down the hall humming, �I�m too sexy��
Vin_Da_DM: �I see...did you see who captured her?� Eclipse looks at Luna again, studying her reaction to this dream.
Tewyn shows Clarice the paper, �You trying to tell me something?�
^Shinta smiles back at ^^Katie^^. �So, what�s going on in that head of yours?�
^Vincent^ starts to sing ,� I�M TOO SEXY FOR THIS SHIRT...TOO SEXY FOR THIS SHIRT...I�m a model you know what I mean��
Claron: �Yes, we will have to talk to her, but I am not so certain she will want to hear anything we have to say.� Claron looks at Stryder and smiles.
^Vincent^: ��and I do my little turn on the catwalk, yeah, on the catwalk.� Looks into the galley.
^^Katie^^ frowns, �Right now, mostly chagrin. I keep ending up weak and helpless and I hate that.�
Clarice looks at the paper, �Me? Trying to tell you something��
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, I can try to help with that. Even if she won�t listen to you, I can make her listen to me.� Stryder munches on his food and glances at Claron, �It�s amazing how much I look like you, Mom.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, bowing it slightly, �I couldn�t see them real clear, a shadowy figure and a man in armor.� Looking up, �I tried to fight him. But didn�t do much good.�
^Vincent^ walks into the galley and sits at the table.
Vin_Da_DM: �The others care, in their own ways,� Alexei turns and looks at the flashing colors of hyperspace, �Well, you�ve shared your memory with me. Would you like to hear mine?�
^Lilly^ wipes her cheeks and looks at him. �Yes...I would actually.�
Tewyn points to the two kids on the paper, his hand covering the writing on the other side.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse lowers his gaze for a moment, sighing, �I see, now�� He mutters to himself before looking up again. �Let�s hope that's the only time you�ll have that dream.�
^Shinta nods, �Seems your mind is in conflict at the moment.�
Claron smiles some more. �And Clarissa, she is the spitting image of you, Tab.� Looking back at Stryder, �I do believe we will need your help from what you told me back there.�
^Vincent^ looks around the galley, �So anyways, what is up?�
Tabris: �So I noticed, including the forceful shoving I did when I was her age,� Tabris nods at Claron, �I just hope we can get her to trust us.�
Luna_Faline nods, �I hope it wasn�t true, you know.�
Clarice shakes her head as she sees the two kids, �I didn�t draw this��
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes Vincent from his seat then continues to talk with Claron and Tab, �Trust will come back to her in time.�
Luna_Faline cuts a bite off the steak and places it in my mouth, chewing it slowly.
^Vincent^: �Hmmm, so nothing is going on, huh?�
Tewyn: �Hmmm, okay...guess I�ll have to track down who did later.�
^Vincent^ looks at his claw, �Hey buddy, what is up with you?� Makes his hand talk, �Nothing dude just chilling.�
^^Katie^^ sighs, �When wasn�t I?� She smiles and reaches out, then pulls her hand back. �There�s still so much that�s a blank, but�I can feel the affection I once felt. For Kyo, I mean. Somehow I think I still hadn�t made my peace with you being�multiple, before I�� She breaks off and stares at her hands in her lap.
Luna_Faline: �It was very disturbing. And considering I receive no comfort, peace or blessings from my prayers. I am more than a little concerned.�
Claron: �What if Shaiya�s influence is stronger?� Claron�s face pales as she remembers the sadness and pain that Stryder showed her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s see,� Alexei looks at Lilly, �I�m not sure exactly when or where it happened, but I remember a woman. She was kind to me, helping me with something, then in an instant she was gone.�
^Lilly^: �Like your mom?�
^Shinta nods, �That�s understandable�That�s why I�m there. He thought seeing and talking to him could shake up your memories and maybe you won�t be in turmoil anymore.�
^^Katie^^ glances up, raising an eyebrow.
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t know. It�s a blur of faces, places and moments,� Alexei lowers his head for a moment, �I�m not sure I�ll ever find out...now if only I knew where this jump was taking us.�
Clarice: �You were right, things needed to be out in the open between Claron and I...I told her most of it, but not all of it, we were interrupted��
Tewyn: �Well, at least you started...more than you did before.�
^Vincent^: �Well, this has been fun!� Stands and walks out the door, then heads to the bridge.
^Lilly^ places a hand on his shoulder. �You�ll find out...soon. I have a good feeling��
^Shinta: �You do not agree? Or is there something else?�
Vin_Da_DM: �A dream that disturbing can be from the past or the future. It means something,� Eclipse rests his hands on the table, �Just keep trying to reach her.�
^Vincent^ walks in and hops into a seat.
Clarice nods her head, �The rest needs to be said in front of you, Claron and Tab though.�
Tewyn: �That bad, huh?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder rolls his eyes, �Is that guy always that weird?� Shaking his head he looks at Claron, �Shaiya did not influence her completely. It can be broken.�
Clarice rubs her forehead. �I don�t know if I could bear to have to say it more than once.� Nodding her head, �Yes, that bad.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks over at Vincent, �Is there something I can do for you, Vincent?�
Tewyn: �Well, if that�s what you want to do.�
^Lilly^: Just noticing Vincent was there she gets defensive. �How long have you been here?�

Tabris: �We�re here for you, son, if you need us.� Tabris places his hand on Stryder�s shoulder.
^Shinta starts to reach out toward ^^Katie^^ then pulls away.
^Lilly^ glares at Vincent and sneers at Alexei.. �See, that�s the kind of behavior I�m talking about.�
^^Katie^^ closes her eyes, �It�s just that�� She stares at her hands again. �I don�t know what.� She gives him a ghost of a familiar grin. �So tell me. Tell me about me. About� how it was.� She looks shyly at him.
^Vincent^ stands and takes a step forward, �What�s wrong with ya today, runt?�
Vin_Da_DM: �All right...do not touch anything on that console while you�re �sitting�.� Alexei watches Vincent then looks at Lilly, �Don�t worry. If you want to talk later, just ask.�
Clarice: �I just hope that, all of you will understand.�
^Shinta: �Well, would you like to hear it passed down, or from the direct source?�
^Lilly^ nods at Alexei with a smile. She frowns at Vincent. �NOTHING! I�m just peachy KEEN! OKAY???�
Claron: �I can only hope you are right, Stryder.�
^^Katie^^ shrugs, her eyes twinkling, �Whatever works best.�
Tewyn: �Guess we will find out.�
^Shinta: �Well, is up to you ^^Katie^^... If you wish to see and truly speak to him�I can arrange it.�
^^Katie^^: �I could�actually SEE him?� She cocks her head to the side and nibbles her lower lip.
^Shinta nods, �Yes, if that is what you truly want�but only for a short time.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So, I guess I can thank you two for this little ability I have?� Stryder looks at Claron and Tabris, �Not sure where it came from though. It�s not like either of yours.�
Clarice: �Yes, we will find out�� Reaches over and slides her hand in Tewyn�s hand. �I was afraid I would never see you again. That you would only be with me in my dreams.�
^Vincent^ looks at his hand, �Come on, Lil Vinny�let�s go stir up some fun.� Turns around and walks out.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse blinks and looks at Luna, �Luna? You okay?�
^^Katie^^ bites her lip, looking down. �Why would he want anything to do with me,� she whispers quietly to her legs.
Tewyn: �You almost didn�t�Seems I went a bit crazy and almost got killed a few times.�
^Lilly^ glares as Vincent leaves the room. �I really hate that guy!!�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei huffs as Vincent leaves, �I am beginning to understand why. He better not damage Ettik.�
^Shinta lifts ^^Katie^^�s chin up, �For the same reason you have those memories now�and for the same reason we have been watching over you before you became a mercenary.�
Luna_Faline: �I suppose I am alright. Just feeling very...lonely. I�ve never been without her presence in my soul before.�
^Vincent^ wanders around the ship�s halls.
^Lilly^: �He�s so disrespectful...and like�makes a move on me every chance he gets lately...seems kinda weird�don�t ask.�
Clarice: �I might not have ever known if you did, if our Father had succeeded. I would have been dead already myself,� says softly.
^^Katie^^�s eyes widen. �You did? But�why? You just watched me from afar?� Tears form, �You mean you KNEW where I was? You just let me bumble along�� She bites her lip again.
Vin_Da_DM: �That�s understandable. Let�s just hope it isn�t for long,� Eclipse moves his hand over and touches Luna�s paw, �It�s hard when something that was always there is suddenly gone.�
^Shinta: �We had no choice...Your memories were not there.�
Tewyn: �Seems we are both lucky then.�
Luna_Faline nods, looking at Eclipse with sad eyes, �I hope it doesn�t last long. I feel the need to go home.�
^Shinta holds out a hand to ^^Katie^^, �He is waiting for you...if you want to see and hear it all from him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks at Lilly and her notebook, �Looks like some pages are missing from your book.�
Claron: �Its hard to say where your power came from exactly, son.�
^Lilly^ looks down at her notebook and nods. �Yes, I know, I took them out.�
^^Katie^^ blinks back her tears, looking back up again. �What kind of�� She takes a breath, �So all this time, you guys just hovered in my background, letting me think I had no one�and you saw�� Her voice drops, ��everything.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I know. You don�t want it to last long...something inside dies if it is too long.� Eclipse lowers his head again for a moment.
Clarice: �Lucky�or it wasn�t our destiny.�
Luna_Faline squeezes Eclipse�s hand ,�You feel it, too?� I ask softly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh. Any reason?� Alexei raises his visible eyebrow, �Or is that a secret?�
^Shinta lowers his head. �We were just making sure no one from the past came after you...We wanted to go to you.�
^Vincent^ enters the galley again, grabs a beer and sits down.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not what you�re feeling,� Eclipse looks at her with a secondary sad look, �It�s just that I�m...well...the last of my kind.�
^^Katie^^ closes her eyes and takes Shinta�s hand.
^Lilly^: �No. Not a secret...just thought everyone might need a clue.�
Tewyn: �Yes. I guess it was.�
^Shinta: �Are you sure about this?�
^Vincent^ opens the beer and takes a swig.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well. Wherever it came from I�m glad,� Stryder leans back in his chair, �Otherwise it would have been difficult to get off that ship.�
^^Katie^^ pops open one eye to fix it on him. �You ask a crazy woman if she�s sure about anything?� She bites her lip, takes a deep breath and opens both eyes.
^Shinta smiles, �He has waited a long time for this.�
Clarice leans in and kisses Tewyn deeply, then whispers, �I was so afraid I had lost you to Shaiya.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I see, and do I need one of these �clues� ?� Alexei watches Lilly with a small smirk.
Luna_Faline nods, �I believe, I�m a one of a kind. Special, but very lonely,� sighing I look out the window of the galley at the multi lights going by.
^^Katie^^ giggles nervously. �I have the advantage, here, not remembering, I think.�
Tewyn: �Well, you did for a while, her power is strong.�
^Lilly^ flips through her notebook and tears off a piece of paper.
^Shinta takes ^^Katie^^�s hands and draws her over to the spirit plane where she sees Kyo standing in front of her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Luna, �You may not feel the goddess with you, but you don�t have to be alone.�
Claron: �Tell me, Stryder�what did you know about you Aunt Clarice��
Luna_Faline looks back to Eclipse with a small smile. �You don�t have to be alone either.�
^^Katie^^ steps forward, laying her head on Kyoshira�s chest and wrapping her arms around him.
^Lilly^ hands it to Alexei and turns away.
^Shinta: *Kyoshiro : �Its been a while, McKinnon.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Clarice�� Stryder looks at Claron for a moment, �Well, I know she has the power to control ice, and that man, Finn was it? Brought her here to help find us.�
^Vincent^ leans back in his chair takes another swig and looks around the room.
^^Katie^^ smiles, tears pouring, �Too long, my dearest, dearest friend.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei eyes the paper as he lifts it up to look at with his good eye.
^^Katie^^ lifts her gaze to the face she knows so well from her dreams.
Tabris gives a nod to Vincent as he notices him looking around.
^Shinta: *Kyoshiro : �Now, now, no tears...It is time for you to be strong again.�
^Katie^^ sniffles, �Kyo, I was never strong. YOU were strong. Sometimes for both of us.�
^Vincent^ nods back at Tab, �Howdy,� tilts his bottle towards him kinda saluting. Then takes another swig.
Clarice: �I know that very well...learned it first hand. That was after Finn had rescued me from my Father...and had informed me of the twins. As well as the troubles that lay ahead, but then, I was captured by them�� Clarice shivers remembering the tactic Shaiya used to get information from her concerning Tewyn.
^Shinta: *Kyoshiro: �Nonsense...You made me open up, more than I wanted at times...but that part of you...is what made me...made me fall for you.�
Claron: �Then you never spoke with her?�
Tewyn: �Well, hopefully that is all past us now.�
^^Katie^^ smiles up at him, �Dunno what that says for your taste in women,� she teases.
Vin_Da_DM: �I was not allowed to�� Stryder rubs his head, �The rest of the Council didn�t want me there, but I insisted.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei smiles at the paper then looks at Lilly, �This is quite good. I told you you�d make a good writer.�
Clarice looks Tewyn in the eyes, �I hope so too, but somehow I don�t think it is.�
^^Katie^^ sniffles again, �I don�t know where to go from here, Kyo. I don�t feel like I�m quite whole.�
Tabris: �The Council?� Tabris looks back at Stryder with a curious expression.
^Lilly^: Blushing she looks down.
^Shinta: *Kyoshiro : �I think it says a lot�� Shimmering for a moment, appearing back in a tux. �Would you like to finish that dance now, before our time is up.�
^^Katie^^ grins, �It would be an honor, sir.�
Tewyn: �Well, if its not, then we fight it together this time.�
Claron: �Was it Shaiya that wanted you there?�
^^Katie^^ places her hand in Kyo�s, her eyes shining.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure. But I was able to be there. Which allowed me to enter the dreamscape to warn you,� Stryder looks at his parents, �The Council...I suppose you�d call them the Knights.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You really do mean all of this, don�t you?� Alexei looks over at Lilly.
Clarice: �Yes, together,� thinks to herself, �If you can resist Shaiya.�
^Shinta: *Kyoshiro : �You know what to do...just overcome that fear you have had for far too long� Placing a hand over her heart, �The answer is in there...Your not the Black Widow�I died so I could see you live.�
^Lilly^ nodding, turns away while turning bright red.
Tewyn smiles at Clarice, �I have you to kick my ass out of it if she tries again.�
Claron: �Why did you appear different looking to us?�
^Vincent^ tosses the empty bottle into the trash from his seat. �Sweet, a 3 pointer.�
^^Katie^^: �Hmm. The love of a wee ghostie�� she muses. �Only you, McKinnon. Only you would have a spirit-lover.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stands up and looks down at Luna, �No, I guess I don�t. I�m not sure where we go from here, but if the goddess is silent it is definitely something.�
Clarice: �You have taken up reading minds now?�
Luna_Faline looks up at Eclipse, �Yes.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I had to...he would have noticed otherwise. I had to play the part,� Stryder crosses his arms on the table.
Vin_Da_DM: The �trash� catches Vincent�s bottle with a small robotic arm and then proceeds to dematerialize it.
^^Katie^^ lays her head back on Kyo�s chest, her mind supplying the music from years before as she begins to glide in his arms.
Claron nods her head, �You are wise for someone so young.� Claron beams proudly.
^Shinta: *Kyoshiro holds ^^Katie^^ closer, �There is another, but he is ashamed to say...for he has had to carry my feelings along as well, but his heart grew for you as well...I did not force him to look after you�� Starts to fade, �Remember McKinnon...just remember.� The connection breaks.
Vin_Da_DM: �I may be young, but I learned a thing or two from you before I grew up,� Stryder makes a sly grin.
^^Katie^^ blinks, looking at her hand still in Shinta�s.
^^Katie^^ tightens her fingers slightly, smiling, �Thank you.�
Claron looks at Tab with the �how can that be possible look�.
Tabris: �Good to hear that our son�s got a good head on his shoulders,� Tabris rustles up Stryder�s hair.
^Shinta slowly opens his eyes looking tired, �Did you find something you were looking for?�
^^Katie^^ looks into Shinta�s eyes, �Perhaps I did, at that.�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron notices Stryder glances at her for a moment then his voice whispers in her head, �A lot is possible, Mom.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei folds the paper and tucks it into his pocket. Moving over to Lilly he places a hand on the chair back. �You all right?�
Claron finds herself nodding her head �yes�.
^Shinta nods, �Seems he enjoyed it quite a lot...first time I�ve seen him smile in years.... Maybe now you can be at rest.�
^Vincent^ stands up and grabs another beer then heads back to his room.
Luna_Faline pushes my plate away, mostly untouched. I stand up. �I think I�ll go try to get my chakra re-centered,� I purr softly to Eclipse as I move slowly out the door back to my room.
^Lilly^: �No, I�m not...think I�m gonna faint.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods and looks around the galley as Luna leaves.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh...um, I�m sorry.� Alexei steps back from Lilly.
^Vincent^ opens the door and sits on the bed forgetting to close the door behind him. Then sits on the bed with his back on the wall and drinks.
Luna_Faline looks back over my shoulder after a few steps. Then continues on to my door.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse disappears into the shadows in the galley with a faint ripple.
^Shinta finds himself squeezing ^^Katie^^�s hand back, �Just hope this helps you.�
Luna_Faline as my door opens I step on a piece of paper, I step back and look down. �What in the worlds?� Bending to pick it up.
^^Katie^^ twines her fingers with Shinta�s. �It did. But now I have another question.�
^Lilly^ stands up� �Why are you sorry?� Reaches out for him.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei pauses and watches Lilly, �I didn�t mean to embarrass you.�
^Shinta: �What is it you must ask?�
Luna_Faline moving into my room, I unfold the paper and look at it.
^Lilly^: �You didn�t...If you want me to leave I can��
Clarice: �As much as I want to lock myself up in this room with you for all eternity... Would you come with me to find Claron and Tabris? I am afraid if I don�t tell you three the rest, that I will never do it. I know I kept too many things hidden away.�
Vin_Da_DM: Appearing in Luna�s doorway Eclipse watches her quietly, then notices the paper. A curious look crosses his face.
^^Katie^^ laughs, �You�re so stuffy and formal sometimes. Guess I�m going to have to tease it out of you.�
Tewyn: �Yes, I�ll follow you anywhere.�
^Vincent^ takes his jacket and shirt off again and lays back on the bed with his head hanging off the bottom. �It�s sooooo damn boring!� Stares at the now upside down room.
Vin_Da_DM: �You don�t have to leave if you don�t want to.� Alexei walks over to the holographic console, then eyes Lilly. �Would you like see Ettik they way I see it?�
^Shinta smiles, �Came with the job, I guess...sorry.�
Clarice nods her head, �Claron was headed for the galley when I left her, maybe they are still there,� as she heads for the door .
^Lilly^ walks next to Alexei and looks at the console. �Sure.�
Tewyn gets up and follows Clarice. �Well, lets go see, I�m hungry anyway.�
^^Katie^^ smiles back, �See, now when you smile at me like that, I forget what I was going to say.� She blushes a little, then frowns. �I hope I�m not keeping you from something more important.�
Vin_Da_DM: �All right. Stand here,� Alexei steps the side and motions Lilly to the center of the circle on the floor. �And close your eyes.�
^Shinta shakes his head, �Your not keeping me from anything at all...now what was that question again?�
Clarice chuckles, �Later, you will be thirsty,� sliding her hand in Tewyn�s they head for the galley.
Luna_Faline chuckles at the doodles on the paper, shaking my head. �Lilly,� I sigh. Laying the paper on the top of the desk.
^Lilly^ does as she�s told. Stands there closing her eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting notes?� Eclipse rests his head against the doorframe.
Tewyn: �You damn right...and you will be walking funny,� laughing.
Luna_Faline turns in a jump. �You snuck up on me,� I grin at Eclipse.
Clarice laughs, �Looking forward to it,� as they enter the galley and spot Claron, Tab and Stryder. Making their way to them, �Mind if we join you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei steps behind Lilly and rests both his hand on her shoulders. In Lilly�s mind a peaceful image a massive glowing entity hovers into view, it looks at her through it�s swirling body and a gentle voice reaches out to her. �Lilly..�
Luna_Faline goes into the bathroom and brings a brush back into the bedroom, running it lightly thru my tangled mane.
Vin_Da_DM: Stepping into Luna�s quarters Eclipse smirks, �Sorry. I can�t help it that I�m good at sneaking up.�
^Lilly^ jumps slightly falling against Alexei, still keeping her eyes closed, she now studies the figure. �Ettik?�
^^Katie^^ grins, �Damned if I remember, now.� She gives him a dazzling smile. �So�� She closes her eyes for a moment, then opens them back up to gaze at him with interest. �What did you do while you were babysitting me all those years.�
Claron looks up at Clarice and Tewyn, �By all means, please do.�
Luna_Faline: �It can be a very useful skill,� I purr moving to sit on the edge of the bed. I cross my legs, my robe falling open exposing my legs. I continue slowly brushing my hair.
^Shinta eyes widen and blushes, �Ummm, I...WE just made sure you were always safe...and made sure you had food and money when needed.�
Vin_Da_DM: The voice speaks again, almost like a chorus of wind, �Yes.�� The entity swims around in the air in front of her, turning for a moment it turns bright red. Alexei moves his hands and Lilly feels herself disconnect.
Vin_Da_DM: �Something�s wrong�� Alexei looks over Lilly�s shoulder at the console.
Vin_Da_DM: "�I suppose. But it comes with some heavy strings attached sometimes,� Eclipse watches Luna.
Luna_Faline: �What kind of strings?� I purr softly, watching Eclipse.
Tewyn takes a seat. �Okay, we are all here, what did you have to tell us?�
^^Katie^^ raises a brow. �And here I was SURE I had a secret admirer�� She sighs dramatically, and flops exaggeratedly back on the cot.
Clarice looks at Stryder, smiles then looks at Tabris as she sits down next to Claron. �I need to tell you the rest.. ALL of you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder and Tabris watch Clarice, Stryder leans back, �Tell us what exactly?�
^Shinta squeezes ^^Katie^^ hand tighter, �So he knew, didn�t he?.... And he told you,� lowering his head.
^^Katie^^ cracks an eye open at Shinta and gives him a cheeky grin.
^^Katie^^: �Told me what?� She shrugs. �I just meant all those years I kept finding JUST what I needed WHEN I needed it, that I had some local lad crushing on me.�
^Lilly^ eyes flutter open and she looks at Alexei. �I saw him...and he spoke to me�I actually heard him speak. It scared me...I�m sorry if I did anything wrong.�
Clarice looks at Tewyn, then back at the rest, �When I first defected, I still stayed in contact with our Father, I suppose you could say I even helped him further his plans for you and I.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...no aging or dying of natural causes,� Eclipse sits on the bed, �A majority of injuries can only be healed in the bio-gel...and the fact that a select few can actually see what I really look like.�
^Shinta: �Well, of course you did... Someone was always in my ear...she needs this��
^^Katie^^: �Only him?� She asks sweetly, smiling, but her eyes very serious.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s not you. Ettik�s picking up a localized energy spike...inside the ship but originating elsewhere,� Alexei looks over the console and shakes his head, then hits the com, �Picking up a strange reading from the galley. Ettik says everyone needs to be there.�
Luna_Faline runs the brush thru my tail, fluffing it out, as I continue to watch Eclipse. I raise a brow, �I can relate to the not aging or dying part. And the healing is just the opposite,� pausing for a breathe, �What do you really look like then?� I ask softly.
Clarice: �I sent him many encrypted messages, and knew that he was going to give me a signal to follow on that snowy mountain. I didn�t know that he intended to make me a prisoner to his own sick plans and use me for the secret clone model soldier they had been working on.�
^Vincent^ jumps up grabs his shirt and jacket and puts them on as he bolts for the galley.
^Shinta: �Okay, okay...Me also....but I felt like I was betraying you and him...and what you two had...what he felt for you started carrying over into me.�
^Lilly^ blinks. �Okay, I�ll go.� Turns to walk out the door. Before shutting it behind her she looks back at him, �Thank you.�
^Vincent^: �About time something exciting�� Bolts into the galley�s door.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...I�m not sure how to tell you,� Eclipse lowers his head then looks up at the com, �You think it�s serious?�
^^Katie^^ bites her lip, frowning. �So, tis only his feelings bleeding over.� She nods, sitting up and swinging her legs over the side of the cot..
^Vincent^ runs in with his blades out, �Who wants some?!?�
Tewyn looks at Clarice, �So you lead us there with a purpose.�
Luna_Faline moans, �Probably,� looking around for my boots.
Vin_Da_DM: In the middle of the galley a bright orb fades into view and begins to expand slowly.
Clarice: �Yes, I did.�
^Shinta: �In the beginning, yes...but not so any longer...Now, I know they are my own.�
^Vincent^ looks at the orb waiting for something to hop out.
Tabris: �What in the hell�� Tabris stands up from his spot and looks at the orb.
^Lilly^ walks towards the galley and peeks in. She stands against a wall. �Now what, Ettik?�
^^Katie^^ tries to stand, but her legs buckle.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse brushes Luna�s boots up with his tail and hands them to her. Nodding he heads for the doorway.
Luna_Faline pulls on my boots quickly, �Let�s go see what is going on. We can talk about this later?� I ask Eclipse, reluctant to end the conversation at this time.
^Shinta catches ^^Katie^^, �Are you ok?� Looking up at her.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I guess, let�s go,� Eclipse looks at Luna as the two head down the hallway toward the galley.
Clarice: �When I got there and allowed him to use me for the cloning purposes, he wanted me to return back to the group and kill you, Claron...but I refused...because I wanted so much to know you as sisters should.�
Luna_Faline walks quickly with Eclipse back to the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: �That�s new�� Stryder stands up as well, taking a few steps closer to the orb.
^^Katie^^ feels Shinta�s chest under her hands, and closes her eyes. �Can you�help me to the galley?� She whispers, her face flaming.
Claron gasps, �Kill me, he wanted you to kill me?!?�
^Shinta: �Of course,� picks ^^Katie^^ up in his arms, �This will help you save your energy�so don�t argue.�
Vin_Da_DM: The orb hovers down to the floor and expands upward into a large oval-shape. The edges begin to blur with energy ripples as the center begins to pulse.
Clarice stops and looks at the orb.
^^Katie^^ opens her mouth to argue, then snaps it shut and growls, closing her eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Umm...Claron�� Tabris pokes Claron on the shoulder to get attention.
Luna_Faline steps into the galley and moves around the orb slowly watching it.
Tewyn: �Umm, what is that thing?�
Claron feels something poking her and turns to look still stunned by what Clarice just said.
^^Katie^^ twines her arms around his neck, and buries her head.
^Shinta totes ^^Katie^^ toward the galley, �He said that never worked for him,� smiling.
Vin_Da_DM: With a gusting snap the orb pulses.
^^Katie^^ laughs and snuggles closer.
Luna_Faline: �What is it?�
Vin_Da_DM: After several seconds of repeating snaps the orb turns into a portal. Slowly two figures begin to emerge.
^Shinta hold ^^Katie^^ close entering the galley.
^Lilly^ watches the orb.
^Vincent^ slides into a ready stance.
^^Katie^^ looks at the orb curiously, �Not more company,� she whispers worriedly to Shinta, holding tight.
^Shinta: �Sadly, it seems so.�
Vin_Da_DM: The first is a short and burly humanoid panda. He holds a katana out as he looks over the group, blade stained with dark purple blood.
Vin_Da_DM: The second is a tall jackal-human in gold armor. He surveys room with green eyes and sighs relieved. �It�s ok, Kuan. We are where I wanted us to be.�
^Shinta: �Well, isn�t that a ironic sight?�
Luna_Faline moves back from the orb in silent awe.
^^Katie^^ tenses a bit, snuggling closer and feeling like she won�t be any use while her limbs still feel like spaghetti.
Vin_Da_DM: The jackal-human turns and waves his hand at the portal. It shrinks back to it�s original size, settles in his hand and vanishes.
^Lilly^ moves from the wall and grabs one of her daggers.
^Shinta: �I think they are friendly...least I hope.�
Luna_Faline wonders why the second man looks so much like someone I met once before....
^^Katie^^: �If they aren�t, you�d damn well better toss me somewhere and look after yourself.� She swallows and tries to look brave.
Vin_Da_DM: �Indeed, we are Warriors. I am Arcanus and this is Kuan, a Warrior as well,� Arcanus steps forward and bows slightly, �I�m afraid I arrive with troubling news.�
Clarice watches the two quietly.
^Shinta looks directly at ^^Katie^^, �You know I cannot do so.�
Luna_Faline gives Eclipse a worried look. Then asks, �What news do you bring us?�
