Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Questioning the roar that came from the main hall of the temple the group went to investigate. There they saw Varna looking over a star chart as she was searching for Claron�s children. Unfortunately Varna�s searching was interrupted by her sister, Angel. Angel informed them that Varna was actually Jinana.
Vin_Da_DM: Angel said she could help find the missing twins as well, and the price for her information was either Jinana�s death or the black heart of Bahamut. Struck with indecision on who to trust, Angel became impatient and sent her dark minions to kill Jinana. The creatures were easily slain by using light and as a result of fighting one, Eclipse�s form changed. Jinana told the group that Angel would go after Bahamut and that they must get to the Black City and find it first.
Vin_Da_DM: Jinana transformed back into Varna and by using a magic portal the Warriors went to the Black City. There they discovered the city was actually the post-apocalyptic ruins of a large metropolis. While knowing no specific knowledge of Bahamut�s whereabouts the group set off on their search...
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: Varna steps over the rusted and spider-webbed remains of a motorcycle, �The first of the locations I�ve read about should be beyond those two buildings ahead.�
^Vincent^ follows the group.
Claron grows impatient, �Varna...again, why is it Angel wants the heart of this Bahamut? Does it possess some kind of power?�
Luna_Faline steps carefully over debris scanning the area for evidence of this Bahamut creature.
Vin_Da_DM: �Vast power. As an immortal avatar of the three gods Bahamut possess incredible power. It is said that it�s black heart can grant immortality to whomever possess it.� Varna continues down the debris filled street towards a clock tower.
Vin_Da_DM: �And should Bahamut be killed...the vast evils being contained by it�s power, would be unleashed.� Varna adds.
^Lilly^ sighs as she catches up with the group. Looking around she sighs, �So, what now?�
^Vincent^ walks a few paces next to Varna scanning the area.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna sees little more than city debris. Dried bones show were other creatures have either died or been killed and eaten by the city�s inhabitants.
Claron ponders this...�So your sister seeks immortality and incredible power�I take it that she would use it for evil purposes, too?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Those who desire immortality and power, usually do not have good intentions in mind, Claron.� Eclipse replies to her question while surveying the area as well.
^Lilly^ scoffs, �Why can�t anyone want something more original?�
Claron nods her head��True enough. It would seem some things remain the same in all dimensions and universes.�
Tabris: �Like endless amounts of pop-tarts?� Tabris looks at Lilly and smirks.
Luna_Faline ears twitch listening for any noise in the buildings as we pass by.
^Vincent^: �What�s a pop-tart?�
^Lilly^ glares at Tabris, �Don�t even go there.�
Claron chuckles...�Its when you hit on one of them women of ill repute, ^Vincent^.�
Vin_Da_DM: Varna pauses in front of the large clock tower and the ruined building it�s attached to. Oddly enough the clock tower seems less damaged then everything else. �This should be one of the locations. �The great time teller� the story said.�
^Vincent^: �OHHHH, then I guess I have pop-tarted a lot then.�
Claron winks at Tabris.
Tabris: Chuckling Tabris looks at the building, �Doesn�t look very special to me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shakes his head at the conversation he eyes the building.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now...there should be a way to get inside�� Varna approaches the side of the building and looks around.
Claron: �Guess this means we are going inside this clock tower.�
^Vincent^: �Let�s go in, I need to whup a lil more ass.�
Vin_Da_DM: Walking to the side of the building Eclipse looks around as well. �Hmm...I don�t see any openings around here.�
Claron: �The only ass I REALLY want to whup is Cain�s.�
^Vincent^ nods at Claron then starts to look for an opening to the building.
Tabris: �And that bitch, too.� Tabris adds with a scowl at mention of Cain�s name.
Vin_Da_DM: Varna approaches a boarded up window further down the building�s side, �I think I�ve found a way inside.�
^Vincent^ looks at Varna. �After you, your pinky-ness.�
Claron looks around for any sign of an opening��Surely, when this was a working clock tower there had to be a way to make sure it kept time and fix it when it didn�t.�
Luna_Faline follows the group keeping a watch on the sky and other buildings.
Claron follows Luna.
Tabris walks over to the window and looks at Varna, with a short nod he begins to pry off the boards.
^Vincent helps Tabris with the boards.
Vin_Da_DM: The sky is extremely cloudy and what little light that breaks through is gray.
Claron watches Tabris pry off the boards.
Tabris: As the last board comes off Tabris reels back, covering his nose, �Oh, man...that�s ripe.�
Claron: �Oh dear...ripe as in smell of death...or something else, Tab?�
^Vincent^: �Ahhh, smells like my mother�s cooking, on second thought I never liked her cooking.�
Vin_Da_DM: Varna sniffs the air and cringes, �Blood, decay and unclean smell.�
^Lilly^ looks after them, �Damn you guys, don�t you ever wait up!!!!!�
^Vincent^ sniffs his pits then mutters, �I cleaned up yesterday.�
Luna_Faline covers my nose with my paw, �Oh, my goddess, that is bad,� I moan.
Tabris: �Smells like week old carcass and crap in there�� Tabris shakes his head and looks in the window covering his nose.
^Lilly^ catches up with the group and covers her nose. �EWWWWWWW!!! Gross�what is that!!!????�
Claron gets a whiff of the smell, wrinkles her nose...�Do we really have to go in there with all that stench?�
^Vincent^ looks at the group, shrugs, then enters the window.
Vin_Da_DM: Raising a brow Eclipse ducks into the window and looks around, �Looks like a balcony...it�s a theatre, or what�s left of one.�
Luna_Faline pulls the neck of my robe up to cover my nose and mouth, then carefully crawls thru the window.
Vin_Da_DM: Varna enters the window as well, �We should have a look around.�
Claron looks at Tab then climbs in the window trying to think of the smell of roses�
Vin_Da_DM: On the other side of the window is a large balcony overlooking a stage and row seating. A large section of the upper floors have caved in, leaving a large pile of debris. Several decaying skeletons are laying against the wall.
^Lilly^: �Oh, my god! Ewww, that�s just gross. Are you guys sure this dude is in here?�
^Vincent^: �Wow, I need to get the number of the decorator,� continues to walk around looking.
Tabris: �Think of nice smells�� Tabris follows Claron inside, putting a hand over his mouth to prevent himself from ralfing.
Claron looks down over the balcony then looks to both sides to see how one would have entered the balcony when this theatre would have been in operation.
Luna_Faline looks around at the mess. �I hope we find Bahamut quickly,� I choke.
^Vincent^ walks closer to the stage.
^Lilly^ eyes Vincent, �For once, I agree with you��
^Lilly^: �And that scares me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron notices two double doorways at either end of the balcony. One is collapsed with a skeleton at the base and the other is open, the smell of waste coming from it.
Claron points toward the open door��Seems the smell is coming from over there.�
Vin_Da_DM: �It doesn�t look like we�ll find this Bahamut here,� Eclipse looks over the edge down at the debris.
^Vincent^ looks at the door then makes his way towards it
Claron starts to head for the open double doors.
Vin_Da_DM: Varna shrugs, �We can at least try to get to the building�s roof, maybe we�ll get a better view of the city.�
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �I just don�t want to be the next meal��
Vin_Da_DM: Footsteps sound from the hallway ahead of Claron, with a small *clang* a sharpened piece of rebar spikes into the floor at Claron�s feet.
Claron stops dead in her tracks, trying to make out who or what is in the hallway...
Tabris: �What the hell?� Tabris looks at the rebar then at Claron. �Careful, I think it was aiming at you.�
^Vincent^ stops behind Claron almost bumping in to her. �Umm, why the abrupt stop there?�
Claron: �Seems someone wants to spear me...and its not my husband doing the spearing either.�
^Lilly^ giggles, �Now, Claron�do you think we all need to know that?�
^Vincent^ steps around the group and walks slowly down the hall.
Vin_Da_DM: With another clang and footsteps shuffling another rebar flies past Vincent�s head.
^Vincent^: �SHIT!!�
^Lilly^ thinks to herself, �Too bad it didn�t take the whole thing off.�
^Vincent^ looks down the hallway.
Vin_Da_DM: �Movement downstairs!� Eclipse sounds out before diving over the balcony.
^Vincent^ runs back and dives off the balcony after Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Varna extends her arm blades as she looks down the hallway. �I think we�ve found some of the locals��
^Vincent^ looks around scanning, ready too fight.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent lands against the side of the debris pile downstairs.
^Vincent^: �Well, that was a spiffy landing.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse hangs on the side of the wall just below the balcony looking around, �They�re moving��
^Vincent^ looks up.
Tabris: Drawing an obsidian blade and looks down the hallway in front of Claron, �Come on out...you keep shooting at us somebody�s gonna get hurt.�
^Vincent^ looks at Eclipse, �Is there anyone here? Or not?�
^Lilly^ holds on to the balcony railing and looks at the ground. �Here goes.� Swings her legs over he railing and lets herself fall to the floor, her eyes closed praying she doesn�t land on her face.
Claron: �Besides we only seek the one that they call the Bahamut.�
^Vincent^ looks at Lilly, hoping she lands on her face.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly hears a heavy thud as she lands on the dead carcass of a large dog-like creature. A mangy looking person skitters away towards the stage after seeing Lilly.
^Lilly^ notices where she landed and jumps up immediately and brushes herself off. �Ewwww, god that was gross.��
^Vincent^ chuckles at Lilly then runs after the person.
Vin_Da_DM: �Vincent, get down!� Eclipse yells out and runs along the wall toward the opposite side of the room as Vincent.
^Vincent^ ducks behind some debris.
Vin_Da_DM: A mangy looking man with a large rebar stick charges at Claron and Tabris from the darkness of the hallway.
^Vincent^ looks out from behind the debris.
^Lilly^ runs up with the rest of the group. �God, that was the grossest thing I have ever landed on��
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent hears several rocky-clangs as more rebar sinks into the wall where he was standing and the debris he�s hiding behind.
Claron throws her steel boomerang at the mangy man�s hand to knock the rebar out of it.
^Vincent^ gets down low ducking behind debris as he makes his way to rebar throwing guy.
Vin_Da_DM: The man bats Claron�s boomerang away but finds himself impaled on Tabris� blades at the end of his swing. Gurgling he falls back bleeding.
Luna_Faline quickly draws my sai looking around for the staircase to the clock tower.
Claron quickly retrieves her boomerang once she makes sure the man isn�t going to attack her again.
Claron looks at the gurgling man then follows Tabris further down the corridor.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices a stairwell going up at the end of the dark hallway.
^Lilly^ looks up at Claron and Tabris on the balcony as she sees something move out of the corner of her eye. Grabbing her bow and an arrow she aims it at the figure and shoots.
^Vincent^ makes his way behind the man and plunges his hand into the back of his neck.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly�s arrow hits and a scream sounds as a mangy woman falls from a spot on the ceiling.
Luna_Faline moves quickly with Claron and Tabris. �Maybe that goes up to the clock tower, we can get a view of the surroundings from there,� as I point into the shadows.
Vin_Da_DM: The man in front of Vincent slumps over dead, his makeshift crossbow apparently the source of the rebar.
^Vincent^ picks up the crossbow and heads to the balcony.
Vin_Da_DM: �Look out below!� Eclipse shouts towards Vincent as two more of the mangy people fall to the ground in front of him with several cracking noises.
Claron nods at Luna_Faline and cautiously continues down the corridor.
^Vincent^ jumps and rolls to the side firing off the crossbow at them.
Vin_Da_DM: The rebar from the crossbow sinks into the already dead figures as Eclipse sighs, �No need to kill the already dead.�
Tabris: �Might as well give it a try.� Tabris shrugs as he follows Claron and Luna.
^Vincent^: �Ohh, all I heard was look out below and jumped.� Grabs the rebar and loads the crossbow again then makes his way to the rest of the group.
Vin_Da_DM: Ahead of Luna, Claron and Tabris is a loud commotion. Varna bursts through a side door, several of the humanoids following her. Turning she begins to cut them to ribbons with her arm blades.
^Vincent^ stands behind Luna and the others silently.
Claron: �Son of a bitch, maybe this isn�t the right way after all,� seeing all the humanoids following Varna.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly makes her way to the stairwell after Vincent and follows him back to the others.
^Vincent^ starts to laugh for no reason then pokes Luna in the shoulder with his finger. �POKE! Hehehehehehe.�
Vin_Da_DM: On the stairwell ahead you notice several bodies rolling down. You hear several cries of agony coming from a up the stairs.
Luna_Faline quick as lightening reaches around and grabs Vincent�s finger. �I do not think you wish to scratch your ass with a stump, do you?�
Tabris: �Sounds like somebody�s in a world of hurt up there�� Tabris steps over the bodies and looks up the stairs.
Claron sees the bodies rolling down the stairway, �That definitely doesn�t sound good.�
^Vincent^: �Haha�that would be interesting,� then grins at Luna.
Claron steps over the bodies and follows Tabris.
^Lilly^ watches the bodies roll, �Now what?�
^Vincent^ follows the group up the stairs.
^Vincent^ looks back at Lilly, �Now we go up, now...runt.�
^Lilly^ glares, �I wasn�t asking you idiot!�
Luna_Faline gives Vincent�s finger a twist then drops it to make my way up the stairs.
Vin_Da_DM: Several floors up you notice blood trails lead into a room off the stairwell. You see a familiar looking dark elf for a moment before a severed torso of a mangy woman goes flying out of a window.
^Vincent^: �Ohh, I like my pussy a lil feisty.� He says as he shakes his head and heads up the stairs.
Tabris: �Man...that you, Tewyn?� Tabris steps off the stairs and looks into the room.
Luna_Faline reaches the doorway and sees Tewyn, draws in a sharp breath, �Oh no.�
^Lilly^ walks up the stairs trying to think who would be causing all the ruckus. �Tewyn?�
Claron sees the dark elf, �Tewyn�� whispers softly.
Tewyn rips open two more men�s body cavities, ripping out their intestines�tying them together.
^Vincent^ looks at the Drow, �Making a rope are we?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Do you...know this man?� Varna looks at Luna as she peers over the others.
Tewyn looks over, his face and body covered in old and new blood.
^Lilly^: �Tewyn, what are you doing!!� runs past Vincent and stops next to Luna.
Tewyn snaps their necks to silence the screaming.
Luna_Faline nods sadly, �Yes, he is the one I feared left behind,� I whisper.
Claron feels her stomach does a flip-flop when she witnesses Tewyn ripping out and tying intestines together.
^Lilly^ covers her mouth as she shakes her head. She looks at Luna.
Tewyn licks his fingers clean�looking over the corpses on the floor.
Tabris: �Geeze...talk about letting out the frustration. It�s a frickking slaughterhouse in here.� Tabris looks around at the bodies then at Tewyn.
Luna_Faline places an arm around Lilly�s shoulders and draws her close turning her face away from the sight.
Vin_Da_DM: Shaking her head Varna turns and continues up the stairs.
^Lilly^ sighs, �Its not the site that bothers me, Luna...its seeing a friend...change into a beast��
Tewyn has a blank solemn look on his face.
Claron turns her head as she witnesses a side of Tewyn she has never seen before, taking deep breaths tries not to retch.
Luna_Faline: �Come child, be glad to be half,� I whisper to her, �I don�t know if he can be saved.�
^Lilly^: �I have never seen anyone do that before...he�s usually...so�well�kinda gentle.�
^Vincent^ looks at Tewyn, shakes his head. �What should we do with him?...can�t leave him here like this.�
Luna_Faline leaving the sight of Tewyn�s demise, �When the blood lust strikes it is a hard master.�
Claron thinks to herself...�He has always restrained himself or controled himself better than this.�
Luna_Faline prays silently to the goddess, �Mistress, what can be done for him?�
Tewyn starts to follow behind the others��Surely there are more...humans...that need taken care of.�
Tabris: �Just stay away from us humans there, Tewyn.� Tabris looks back at the dark elf.
Claron: �I am not going anywhere near him�� whispers to Tabris.
^Lilly^ looks at Luna. �Wait...what if�umm�I went and talked to him. I�m not human�so, I should be fine...shouldn�t I?�
^Vincent^ looks back at Tewyn, �Not human, buddy...might want to try a bit further up ahead.� Thinks to himself, �Damn, and I thought I was a nut.�
Claron: �I have a feeling I may be high on his list of humans at the moment��
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Lilly, �You are half human, it may not matter to him at this moment.�
Tewyn walks past as if the others weren�t even there.
Vin_Da_DM: At the top of the stairs a open doorway leads into the guts of the clock tower. The gears are rusted and cob-webs hang everywhere.
Vin_Da_DM: Varna scales a ladder on the other side of the room, heading for a catwalk above the gears.
^Vincent^ looks around the room checking for more of the mangy people.
Claron: �If this is how he copes with the loss of those he loved...oh god, Tab...if only Clarice hadn�t perished��
Luna_Faline looking thru the door and up into the tower, �It doesn�t look as if any one or any thing has been here in many years.�
^Vincent^ heads up the ladder after Varna.
Luna_Faline follows Vincent up the ladder.
^Lilly^: �So why bother...I think its just the place that�s getting to everyone��
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent notices none of the mangy folk, save for a few scattered bones lying around.
Claron follows Luna up the ladder.
Tewyn stops and sniffs.��There are fresh humans....and, and...ohh yes, a halfling.� An eerie grin coming over his face.
Tabris: �Don�t get any ideas, Tewyn. This human isn�t on the menu,� Tabris eyes him as he heads up the ladder after Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: At the top Varna walks around the catwalk to a door leading to the outside of the tower.
^Vincent^ looks at Tewyn from the catwalk, �Touch the runt and I�ll have your head!...ah, I mean I want to hurt her first!�
^Lilly^ scoffs, �Neither one of you are touching me.�
Luna_Faline reaching the catwalk I go to the door with Varna.
Claron steps onto the catwalk and avoids looking at Tewyn.
^Vincent^ stays behind the group keeping an eye on Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the clockwork is a small service balcony. Varna stands near the edge looking out over the city, �I think those are more of the sites,� she points towards the remains of a stadium and a car-park.
Tewyn steps into a room ahead�and disappears into the shadows��Here humi, humi, humi.�� the words trailing off.
^Lilly^ starts to follow the others up the catwalk, she passes Tewyn and eyes him suspiciously.
Claron looks around, �Think I will stick to you like a pea in a pod ,� as Tabris climbs onto the catwalk.
Vin_Da_DM: �Quite the view,� Eclipse sounds as he scales the side of the clock tower, going up.
Luna_Faline looks where Varna points then looks down the side of the building to the ground. �Do we have to make our way back thru the building?�
^Lilly^ passes the room Tewyn disappeared into and starts to run...suddenly struck with a fear like no other. �Almost there,� she tells herself as she sees Luna�s tail.
Tabris: Holding Claron around the waist he walks with her to the door.
^Vincent^: �Hmmm, so who was that weird bloody guy?�.He is fricking nuttier than a squirrel turd.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...I think I can manage to get us down easy enough,� Eclipse drops off the wall and lands next to Luna.
Tewyn reaches out and grabs ^Lilly^ by the throat, squeezing. �Ahhh, there is that halfling I smelled, pathetic.� Starts raising ^Lilly^ off the floor, a blank look still on his face.
Luna_Faline ears twitching I turn around looking at the group behind me, �Lilly?�
^Vincent^ rushes over to Lilly and thrusts his claw into were Tewyn�s stomach is.
^Lilly^ struggles frantically, �Tewyn!! Let me go��closes her eyes and screams, �TEWYN, LET GOOOOOOOOOO!�
Tabris: Turning at the yell Tabris looks at Tewyn and Lilly, �Sonuva bitch��
Luna_Faline runs back down the catwalk to Lilly, grabbing her, trying to free her from Tewyn�s grasp.
Tewyn eyes ^Vincent^ scowling, still holding ^Lilly,^ pulling his sword and places it by ^Vincent^ throat��Do that again...and she is dead.�
Claron: �Tewyn! It is not her you really want...it is me! Let her go!�
^Lilly^ continues screaming. �Everyone get away!! TEWYN, LET ME GO NOW!!!!!!!!!�
^Vincent^ pulls out his hand then grins, �Go ahead, kill her.� Then walks off.
Tabris: �Hey, hey! Calm down everyone. Put Lilly down ,Tewyn!� Tabris lifts a hand.
Luna_Faline: �Let go of her,� I growl still trying to free her from his grip.
^Lilly^ tears start falling, �Tewyn, please LET GO!!!!�
Tewyn looks back up to ^Lilly^, �Ca....Car...Cara..�� then drops ^Lilly^.
Claron concentrates on Tewyn�s hand manipulating the gravity to cause the fingers to not be able to grasp anything.
^Vincent^ leans on the wall looking, �And plop goes the runt.�
^Lilly^ falls to the ground choking, �Tewyn?�
Vin_Da_DM: �What�s all the commotion?� Eclipse ducks his head in the door and looks at the group
Luna_Faline catches Lilly as she falls, I stare at Tewyn.
Tewyn holds his stomach looking down.
^Lilly^ looks at Luna as she stands up and places a hand on Tewyn. �Hey...Tewyn?�
^Vincent^ looks at Tewyn holding his stomach, �Looks like I did my job.�
Claron stops concentrating when she sees Tewyn has all ready released his grip on ^Lilly^... �I think he is reliving some past experience along with his recent hurt,� whispers to Tabris.
Tewyn falls to the ground.
^Lilly^ gazes at Tewyn, trying to help him up she looks at his stomach. �Oh, god...Luna he�s hurt bad.�
Claron looks at Tewyn clutching his stomach... then rushes over towards Tewyn.
Tabris: �God damn it�� Tabris clenches his fist and pounds it on the edge of the catwalk railing.
Luna_Faline shakes my head as I kneel next to Tewyn, �In more ways than we know,� as I place my paws over his wound trying to heal him.
^Vincent^ grins then watches.
^Lilly^ walks up to Vincent and punches him. �Thanks for the help you bastard!�
Claron tries laying her hands on his stomach...concentrating...�Please...please...let it help this one time.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Just what the hell are you people doing in here, killing each other?� Eclipse steps onto the catwalk and looks at Tewyn.
Claron backs away as Luna takes over.
^Lilly^ rubs her neck she coughs, �Oww...damn that hurt..�
Luna_Faline prays, �O�Goddess help your servants,� as I push all my will into healing him.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s powers begins to close Tewyn�s wounds slowly.
Claron looks at ^Vincent^, �If I was you I would stay out of his path.�
^Vincent^: �Hey, if ya attack someone in the same group with me expect to get hurt.�
^Vincent^ grins then leans on the wall again.
Luna_Faline continues to purrumble words of prayers as I keep trying to heal him.
Vin_Da_DM: �Get him to his feet. Varna saw some lights coming from inside that car park and went on ahead,� Eclipse eyes Luna and the others.
Claron shakes her head...�This is just not right��
^Lilly^ coughs again as she walks back towards the catwalk.
^Vincent^ heads towards the car park.
Tabris: �Nobody better attack a friendly again, or they�ll find themselves on their own!� Tabris growls.
Luna_Faline raises my eyes to Eclipse, �How are we going to get him out of here?�
^Vincent^ laughs as he heads towards the park, �If that�s friendly, I don�t want him as a friend.�
Claron: �If we are to be a group, we can�t go hurting one of our own...specially when its obvious to those of us that know him that he is not acting his normal self.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll deal with that,� Eclipse moves over near the others and finds a suitable section of shadowed wall. Placing his hands on it he nods, �Everyone in...I�ll get the elf.�
^Vincent^ looks back then follows the group.
Luna_Faline nods standing up. Steps into the shadow and wipes the tears off my cheeks.
Claron steps into the shadow.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna instantly find herself standing on the street outside the building. Claron walks out next to her.
^Lilly^ turns back to the group and walks into the shadows with the others. �I hope this works.�
Vin_Da_DM: Turning Eclipse presses his tail against the shadow as he moves over and hoists Tewyn over his back.
^Vincent^ steps thru the shadow.
Luna_Faline steps out of the shadow and turns to wait for Eclipse with Tewyn.
Tabris: Looking around the street level as he appears next to the others Tabris nods, �I love that trick of his.�
^Vincent^ looks around.
Claron smiles as Tabris come out of the shadow.
Luna_Faline: �I wish we could just hop in one and come out back in the temple with Guardian,� I purr sigh.
Vin_Da_DM: The street looks just like it did before you entered the building. Ahead beyond the battered remains of a bus and several buildings you can see the car park.
Tewyn starts coughing��Put me down�I�m fine.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse pops in besides the others, and puts Tewyn down.
Tewyn kneels to one knee looking out at the others.
^Lilly^ turns and looks at Tewyn, �Are you ok now?�
Vin_Da_DM: Ahead you see Varna sprinting down the street.
Claron: �We should not waste any more time...Varna may need us at the car park.�
^Vincent^ sprints after Varna.
Luna_Faline looks down at Tewyn, �Do not stray again,� then I turn and follow the others quickly toward the car park.
Tewyn looks over and calls up a thin shard of the pavement driving it through ^Vincent^ stomach...coughing, �There, a mark for a mark.�
Vin_Da_DM: As Vincent runs a tremor surges across the ground. The surrounding buildings moan before you hear several explosions in the direction of the car park.
Tewyn gets back to his feet. �Don�t plan on it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn�s shard catches Vincent in the side, sending him to the ground.
Claron: �Oh, NO!! We may be too late!�
^Lilly^�s hands cupped over her mouth, �Tewyn!!!�
^Vincent^ staggers back grinning, coughing, �Good one, Drow,� he laughs then gets to a knee shakes his head.
Tabris: �Damn it, stop!� Tabris eyes Tewyn, �Look, we better go. Those explosions didn�t sound friendly.�
Luna_Faline catches up to Vincent. I look at his wound. �How bad did he get you?�
^Vincent^: �Not bad at all, had worse.�
Vin_Da_DM: Getting on all fours Eclipse hops onto the wall of the building and begins to run after Varna, leaping to other buildings as he follows.
^Lilly^ shakes her head, �Serves him right,� says under her breath as she continues towards the car park.
Luna_Faline: �Then let�s go...Lilly, come on!� I yell back to her.
^Vincent^ starts to run full speed towards the explosions.
Vin_Da_DM: As you run down the street you see the smoke clouds from the explosions. Several nearby one-story buildings are cratered and on fire.
^Vincent^: �This doesn�t look good.�
Claron stays close to Tabris, thinking how lucky she has been that Tewyn has not ever really hurt her other than verbally.
^Lilly^: �Oh goody,� approaches behind the group.
^Vincent^: �Oh goody�Yer sounding like a sidekick stereotype there, runt.�
Tewyn starts walking slowly behind the others.
Tabris: �I�ll bet that we�re close to finding that Bahamut thing,� Tabris eyes the burning buildings.
Claron looks at the fire then tries to see if she can catch sight of Varna.
Vin_Da_DM: Varna disappears up the ramp on the ground floor of the car park. Twenty stories up on the roof you see several bright flashes.
Luna_Faline follows Varna up thru the garage quickly.
^Vincent^ follows Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: �Luna! Behind you!� Eclipse yells out as he pounces one of Angel�s black creatures. The other continues after her.
Luna_Faline spins with my sai drawn, I dash for the edge of the level, toward the grey light.
^Lilly^ runs up next to Eclipse and shoots an arrow at one of the creatures. �Take that!�
Claron tries to keep up going up the levels of the car park, but finds her strength is still not up to par and begins to fall behind.
Vin_Da_DM: The arrow catches the creature and it rolls off the edge of the car park past Luna.
Tewyn starts trying to walk a bit quicker to catch up.
Vin_Da_DM: On the third level you hear Varna roar.
Tabris: Noticing Claron falling behind Tabris slows down to her pace.
Claron stops holding her sides as she tries to get control of her breathing...
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �It was a trap!�
^Lilly^: �When is something not a trap?�
^Vincent^ continues thru the car park where he saw Varna go.
Luna_Faline runs toward the 3rd level with my sai held ready.
Tewyn sees Claron in the distance, �You okay up there?�
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s not a trap!� You hear Varna yell as he tumbles down the ramp to the fourth floor, black creature impaled on her arm-blade.
Claron looks surprised as she hears Tewyn�s question��I will be... just�need...to pace myself better.�
Tewyn walks next to Claron, �What�s the look?�
Luna_Faline runs to help Varna up. �We need to get up there faster,� looking around for the stairwell.
Vin_Da_DM: �They�re trying to distract us while Angel is above!� Varna yells as she rips one of the creature�s heads off. Strangely these versions are solid.
^Vincent^: �Good to know, Varna.� Goes to head up the ramp.
^Lilly^ looks back at Tewyn and Claron, �You two okay back there? Need anything?�
Claron: �I am just surprised that...that...well....you seem more yourself now,� as I reach out and grab Tab�s hand.
Claron: �We are fine, ^Lilly^.�
Tewyn cocks his head.��More myself?�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna sees no stairwell but an old elevator shaft is rusted shut nearby.
Luna_Faline shakes my head then jumps over the rail dividing the ramps to save time, goes half way up the next ramp and climbs over the rail.
Claron: �Well, you haven�t spoken to me for a while now, and you did just have a blank look not so long ago...don�t you remember?�
^Vincent^ looks around.
^Lilly^ makes her way up the ramp by herself trying to steer clear of the creatures.
Tabris: �The talking can wait, Babe.� Tabris looks at Claron as they continue up.
Tewyn shakes his head, �Hmmmm, don�t remember that.�
Luna_Faline looks up between the rails of the ramps trying to see what is going on above us.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly sees several creatures following the group and notices Eclipse pouncing his way between them.
Claron smiles at Tabris...�You are right�� then looks back at Tewyn....�Maybe its best if you don�t remember,� smiles as they continue up.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna sees several more flashes from the upper level. Several flaming creature corpses run across the gap then sail off the edge of the car park to the ground.
^Vincent^ looks around at the group.
Tewyn keeps walking and shaking his head��No...that can�t be good.�
Luna_Faline continues to make my way up the levels by jumping over rails to the next ramp.
Claron: �It�s good to have you back, Tewyn.�
Vin_Da_DM: Varna follows Luna closely, �We�re getting closer, I can feel the energy increasing.�
Luna_Faline: �Yes, almost there,� I puff as I climb the next rail.
^Vincent^ continues to run up the parking building ramps several paces behind Luna and Varna.
Vin_Da_DM: As you wind your way up the car park you hear and feel a thunderous roar wash across the concrete building.
^Lilly^: �Varna!!!!�
^Vincent^: �Whatever that was, it is huge.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Everyone, stop! Stop, stop!� Varna slows to pause, extending her hands to the side.
Tewyn looks up��So how far ahead is everyone else?�
Claron: �Oh, you don�t suppose that roar is Varna?�
^Vincent^ stops, �What is it??�
Luna_Faline stops next to Varna, watching her.
^Lilly^ stops just in front of Claron, Tabris and Tewyn, �What...what is it?�
Vin_Da_DM: Lifting her hands in front of her Varna growls, �Take cover!�
Claron: �Afraid a few more levels up then we are�having the twins took more out of me then I realized.�
^Lilly^ walks behind a car and hopes it is good enough cover.
Luna_Faline crouches next to the wall I just climbed over.
^Vincent^ kneels by the side of a car.
Tewyn: �Twins?�When did that happen?...I�ll bet Clarice will love to see them.�
Vin_Da_DM: The thunderous roar sound again, then a loud burning noise. Moments later a large blue column of energy rips into the car park from above, vaporizing one corner of the building.
Claron looks to see where they can take cover at, �Maybe over there,� pointing over towards some cars.
^Vincent^: �What in holy Satan�s name was that??� He says while he stares at the destruction.
Tewyn kneels behind the cars Claron points to.
Claron gets a puzzled look on her face...�You REALLY DON�T remember!�
Vin_Da_DM: As the rubble clears Varna lowers her arms and continues ahead, �We�re very close��
^Vincent^ looks over at Varna , �Is it safe to go now?�
Tewyn: �What am I supposed to remember?�
^Vincent^ takes off at full speed after Varna.
Tabris: �That you tried to choke Lilly to death, after your little chainsaw massacre of those crazy bums?� Tabris looks at Tewyn.
Luna_Faline stands brushing dust off my robe, �Let�s get moving,� following Varna toward the next level.
Claron: �Me having the twins, their being kidnapped, Clarice dieing��
^Lilly^ stands up from behind the car and notices Claron, Tewyn and Tabris and sees Luna and Vincent run off after Varna. �You guys ready to go?�
Vin_Da_DM: As Varna rounds the next corner you hear her gasp.
Tewyn: �I remember taking out the trash over there....but what is this other you talk about?�
^Vincent^ stops next to Varna and watches with wide eyes and an open mouth
Tewyn looks at Claron in disbelief��Wh�what...when did she die?? Who did it?�
Luna_Faline stands behind Varna looking at the scene before us.
^Vincent^: �THAT...is Bahamut??!! Your kidding me?�
Claron stands up with Tabris, �Come on, we must catch up to the others�I don�t know what has happened that you seem to have forgotten some things.�
Vin_Da_DM: At the top of the ramp you see a very large red creature, with energy ribbons floating around it you see it spearing Angel�s black creatures with energy bolts.
Tewyn follows behind...a sullen look on his face.
Claron: �She died saving you and Shinta.�
Tewyn continues walking, �I...see�
Claron turns, �Tewyn, I am sorry.��
Vin_Da_DM: Bahamut lets out a thunderous roar as he flings a hand in front of him, explosion sending dozen of black creatures flying and on fire.
^Lilly^ runs up next to Tewyn and lays her hand on his shoulder she looks up at him, �Hey...are you gonna be okay?�
^Vincent^ stares at the beast in front of him, �How in the world are we gonna get that things heart for that albino lady?�
Luna_Faline looks over at Vincent, �We�re not.�
Tewyn just nods, �Wasn�t your fault��looks at ^Lilly^, �Aren�t I always okay?�
Vin_Da_DM: Angel stands on the opposite end of the car park, black minions swarming around her and towards Bahamut. Noticing you she smiles. �Varna and friends. My lucky day. Not only will I get the black heart, but I�ll get the pleasure of seeing you die before me.�
^Lilly^ sighs as she shakes her head, �No...would it help if I told you I know how you feel?�
Claron: �Tab, I don�t know what the hell has happened to him.�
Vin_Da_DM: As she hovers into the air Angel presses a hand against her tattoo. With a white flash she is replaced by a white dragon about half Bahamut�s size. �Time to end this��
Luna_Faline: �There will be no pleasure this day,� I growl.
Vincent^: �If I die, I know it�ll be with a good fight�� Looks at Luna, �Ready to kick some ass, kitty?�
Claron stands confused as they finally reach the others and she sees this huge creature then hears Angel.
