Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Having been sent into the dangerous hyperspace vortex by Raisha, the crew began to realize the damage that happening to Ettik. The loss of the twins still weighing heavily on Claron and Tabris, the couple wondered where their children where. Deciding that forcibly exiting hyperspace was the only option, the crew prepared for it.
Vin_Da_DM: Using electrical force from Ettik�s engine, Alexei managed to snap the great ship free from hyperspace, only to find their arrival was inside a large moon�s atmosphere. Drained by the force, Alexei instructed Luna on how to activate Ettik�s teleporters, which safely evacuated them to the moon�s surface.
Vin_Da_DM: At the peaceful lakeside the group watched as the Ettik headed across the sky, aiming to crash into the ocean. Meeting a strange goblin named Tupper they learned of a city two days walk that was home to a �Holy lady�. Deciding to investigate the group and their goblin guide set out.
Vin_Da_DM: As the morning sun peaks into the hollowed out base of the tree, it shines down upon the group. Outside Tupper sits besides a small fire, cooking breakfast.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
^Vincent^: �Well, that just sucks monkey balls.�
Luna_Faline jumps up from my sleep with my sai in my paw. �Who said that?�
Vin_Da_DM: Yawning Tabris stretches, careful to avoid Claron�s head resting on his chest. �Rise and shine, Babe.�
^Vincent^: �Who said what?�
Luna_Faline looks around for the new voice.
Vin_Da_DM: �Seems our demon friend here got lost in the woods yesterday. He found camp during the night.� Eclipse looks down from a charred branch stub.
^Vincent^ walks over to the group, �What are ya�ll tired from? Who�s the pussy?�
^Lilly^ sitting near a distant tree, she stretches and yawns trying to wake up. She watches the rest of the group and stands up deciding to go for a small walk as everything is being prepared. She begins singing a tune to herself softly.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse with a raised brow, �He�s with us? Since when?�
Claron stirs as she hears Tabris� voice, raising her head begins to smell the cooking breakfast. Sitting up, rubs her eyes.
^Vincent^: �Since Gabe stuck me with ya.�
Claron looks around the camp to see if Tewyn made his way back to the group.
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, I�m afraid there was not time to inform you before getting stranded down here.� Eclipse hops off the branch and lands in front of Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: �Food red-e to eatses,� Tupper calls out from near the fire as he takes a steaming pot from it�s hanging place.
Luna_Faline still watching Eclipse. �Isn�t that just peachy!� I grumble with a growl, tucking my sai back in my belt. I raise my hood over my ears to shade my eyes from the morning sun.
^Vincent^: �Wow, who took a crap in her litter box?� walks over to Tupper.
Tabris: �Not sure about the smell, but I�m hungry.� Tabris gets to his feet, then offers Claron a hand.
^Vincent^ looks at Tupper, �What is it?�
Claron takes Tabris� hand and stands up. �Wonder where Luna got off to, too?�
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper eyes Vincent then lifts up the bottom of his helmet to taste, �Good. Hope you like.�
Vin_Da_DM: As Lilly walks she notices birds singing in the trees and in between the dense trunks some forest creatures stir.
^Vincent^ takes a bowl, then sits, then gradually lifts a spoonful up, �This isn�t gonna kill me, right?�
^Lilly^ looks around, �What was that?�
Claron notices that Luna is still in the camp, then realizes it is Lilly that is missing along with Tewyn still...
Vin_Da_DM: �No, no. Tupper make fwend-lee food.� Tupper offers Vincent a small brown roll.
^Vincent^: �Thanks....not bad.� Takes the roll then proceeds to devour the food in haste.
Luna_Faline moves closer to the fire and takes a portion of the breakfast Tupper has cooked for us. Bows my head to Tupper then sits on a fallen log near by.
Vin_Da_DM: Eyeing Claron, Eclipse moves over to the fireplace, �I could not find the Drow. He wants to be alone, but he�ll find us when he wants to.�
Claron leans over and kisses Tabris, �I need to speak with Luna about a female matter...Will only be a few minutes, dear.�
Vin_Da_DM: The food looks like scrambled eggs, but tastes similar to a meat pie. The roll is soft but slightly stale.
Luna_Faline blowing across the bowl to cool it off I watch Claron�s approach.
Claron turning walks over towards the fallen log Luna_Faline is sitting on, �You have a few moments.�
^Vincent^ stands up then wanders off away from the group.
Luna_Faline nods, �Of course.�
Tabris: Grabbing some food Tabris sits down by the fire and eats it, �Hmm, not bad for a little green guy.�
Vin_Da_DM: As Lilly speaks the creatures quiet down and their sounds grow fainter.
Claron sits down next to Luna_Faline on the log��I�m afraid not having the twins to help ease the fullness�� looking down at her very swollen chest.. �I need to know what to do to stop it from hurting so much.�
^Vincent^ leans against a tree watching the group as they eat.
Vin_Da_DM: Humming rather off-key Tupper portions the rest of the food for Lilly and himself. Walking over toward his miniature horse he feeds it one of the rolls.
^Lilly^ continues walking watching the surroundings out of the corner of her eyes.
^Vincent^ looks around.
Luna_Faline looks around the wooded area for a moment as I finish my bowl. I stand up, �I will return shortly to take care of the problem.� I hand the bowl to Claron and walk into the trees, searching the bases of the trees.
Claron nods at Luna as she takes the bowl from her.
Vin_Da_DM: The area surrounding the dead tree looks like normal forest. About a ten foot radius around the tree is dirt and charred roots, the area very obviously struck by lightning.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna finds several different flowering plants and moss near the bases of the trees. Small caterpillar type bugs crawl around as well.
^Vincent^ turns around then starts to carve his name into the tree. �V..I..N..C..E..N..T....R.U.L.E.S.!�
Luna_Faline inspects several different plants looking for the right one. �I hope it exists on this moon,� I purr.
Vin_Da_DM: As Vincent carves the section of bark with his name breaks off the tree, creating a new opening into the hollowed out center.
^Vincent^ looks into the new hole.
Claron sits staring into the empty bowl, longing to wrap her arms around her babies once again.
^Lilly^ falls to the ground, landing on her butt and lays back looking up at the sky humming to herself.
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper chuckles at Vincent as he eats his food. Looking at Claron and the others he nods, �Must go soon. Long walk to cee-ty.�
Luna_Faline stands looking around the forest about to give up, suddenly I spot it further down the path. I move to the large plant that resembles an earth cabbage. Bending down to cut it off at the base, I remove the leafy top and turn back to camp.
^Vincent^: �What the hell?� Puts his hand in feeling for anything.
Luna_Faline: Returning to camp I motion Claron to join me outside the circle of the camp.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent feels the dead bark of the inside of the tree, along with the slight breeze blowing into the hollow.
Claron nods to Luna, then follows her.
^Vincent^ pulls his hand out then walks over to the group.
Tabris: �Wonder what they�re up to?� Tabris watches Luna and Claron head out of sight.
Luna_Faline stepping behind a large old tree I draw Claron in to give her some privacy. �Put these on them, it will ease your pain.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hopefully it won�t take long, I agree that we should be leaving soon.� Eclipse pads toward the path that leads in the direction of the city.
Luna_Faline begins pulling the outer leaves off the plant and handing them to Claron.
^Vincent^ follows behind the cat.
Claron looks at Luna as she hands her something that looks like cabbage leaves...doing as Luna instructs she places them over her swollen breasts...then giggles��Like I have reason to be modest in front of you after you getting up close and personal during the twins delivery.�
Vin_Da_DM: The blue sky hovers above Lilly, clouds in the horizon looking like rain. From a tree branch above Lilly a small beetle plops down on her leg and skitters around.
Luna_Faline: �Yes, well the boys don�t need a show. Do they?� I purrumble.
^Lilly^: �EEEPPPPPPPPPP!� backs away on her hands, �Ewwww, that was just gross.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns his head at Lilly�s voice, then shakes his head. �The path heads in between those two mountains up ahead. The city must be beyond them.�
Luna_Faline calls out, �Lilly?� Turning I try again, �Lilly! We are leaving now��
Claron looks at Luna, �Sure hope this works. I suppose we should get back to the others��
Tabris hands his bowl back to Tupper then stands up to stretch again.
Luna_Faline nods at Claron. �Yes, we still have a long way to go,� turning to head back to the group.
Claron follows Luna back to camp slipping up quietly behind Tabris, �So how was the food?�
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper begins to gather and wipe off the bowls and pots. Placing a dried leaf over a still-full bowl he packs up the rest.
^Lilly^ stands up brushing her legs. �Ewwww, that was just gross.� Shivers as she turns back towards the group. �Might as well continue to follow them.��
^Vincent^: �So where we heading?�
Tabris: �Not exactly your five star hotel, but it was good. Still some left if your hungry.� Tabris looks at Claron.
Claron smiles at Tabris��I�m not feeling very hungry.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Tupper says there is a human city where a holy woman lives.� Eclipse looks at Vincent.
Luna_Faline stands in the camp with my nose to the breeze, �Eclipse, Tewyn is out of my range as well.�
^Vincent^: �Holy woman?�
Claron turns and looks at Luna, �I should have left him alone...I had only hoped to make him understand�instead it appears I made things worse��
Vin_Da_DM: �Nice hol-ee lady! Big hol-ee cee-ty too!� Tupper chimes as he slips on his backpack, placing the covered bowl on a flat space on his cart. �Food for Lil-e if want.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Claron, �He doesn�t know the whole story still. And then to be played by Shaiya made it worse.�
^Vincent^: �Great a �Holy� city,� shakes his head and continues to walk.
^Lilly^ catches up as everything is being put away and everyone begins moving away.
Tabris: Putting his arm around Claron, Tabris shrugs, �He�ll come back, but let�s go.�
Claron: �I don�t think he knows she played him...I...only learned since we got here, that she made quite a scene in the galley....�
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper begins to head down the path as well, horse and cart following dutifully behind him.
Claron nods her head at Tabris, �I�m ready...maybe this holy lady can help us find the twins.� Claron feels a ray a hope engulf her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Vincent studiously as he walks beside him, �You have a problem with things divine?�
Luna_Faline: �Did she? Well, the Clarice we rescued was not your sister. You do KNOW, that don�t you Claron?�
^Lilly^ lags in the back of the group kicking up rocks as they head down the path. �Wonder what cities are like here.�
^Vincent^: �No, it�s the divine that has the problem with me.�
Tabris: �Was some sort of clone zombie, wasn�t it?� Tabris looks at Luna as he and Claron walk.
Claron: �What?�What do you mean?� looking back and forth between Luna and Tabris.
^Vincent^ scans the horizon as he walks down the path.
Luna_Faline nods to Tabris, �Yes, she was a clone of the Clarice I first met and traveled with. I now believe that she went to her father willingly, not that she was kidnapped by him.�
Claron: �Does Tewyn know that?�Clone?.�� looking confused.
Vin_Da_DM: The horizon is bright with the morning sun. Snow tipped mountains line the view ahead with a gap in between where the path seems to head. In the sky above a large purple ringed gas giant begins to rise.
Luna_Faline looks sadly at Claron, �I don�t think he does. He may have sensed that she was different somehow when she returned to us. I know she fooled me.�
Claron: �...But...why would a clone have come back?...Why didn�t she come back?...WAIT...are you both suggesting that Clarice isn�t dead?�
Tabris: �I think she fooled everyone.� Tabris looks ahead down the path at Tupper, Vincent and Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting, so this is a moon after all.� Eclipse perks his head up, watching the gas giant on the horizon.
Claron tries to figure out what all this means...�How can you be sure it was not her?�
^Vincent^ picks up the pace a bit.
Luna_Faline shrugs, �I don�t know for sure, Claron. It seems that she had been in contact with an �Uncle Leo� all along. I believe that was a code for her father. If she went back to him on her own then she may well be alive some where on Earth.�� sighing heavily.
Luna_Faline sniffs the breezes again as I follow the others with Claron and Tabris. �I hope he comes back to us.�
^Vincent^ looks at the crew then takes off running down the path full speed.
^Lilly^ keeps pace with the group and notices they doubled their time. �Hey, wait up�.�
Luna_Faline: �The demon is going to tire himself too soon,� I tell Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper watches Vincent run off, �Wait! No, no...Luna, fwend go fall if run.�
^Vincent^ looks back as he running, �Come on, guys. You can go faster than that.�
Luna_Faline looks at Tupper and takes off after Vincent. �Hey, you crazy fool, SLOW DOWN!!!! It�s DANGEROUS,� running after him.
Claron shakes her head, then gets very quiet...wondering if she will ever get Tewyn to speak to her more about her sister, then realizes Tewyn was right...the disc Clarice had left her, had told her of their parents...and the lies that had been told....
^Vincent^ slows down and waits for Luna.
Tabris: �There she goes...next thing you know everybody�s gonna be running off.� Tabris sighs and looks at Claron.
^Vincent^: �Hey, pretty kitty, wanna take a jog with me?�
Luna_Faline slows down to walk with Vincent. �We don�t know this area, it is foolish to rush headlong into the unknown.�
Vin_Da_DM: Sure enough the path ahead of the group splits in three different directions.
^Lilly^ yells after everyone, �HEYYYYY, WAIT UP!!!! God, don�t you guys ever listen.�
Luna_Faline pauses at the fork in the road, �Which way now?�
^Vincent^: �Hey, ya gotta live on the edge...pick a route, kitty.�
Claron: �I will not be running off�unless it is to find our children,� looking over at Tabris� �Or to fulfill the promise to rid this universe of Raisha!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Run, run. No, wait for Tupper, alwaz run.� Tupper sighs as he makes his way toward the fork.
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Vincent, �No, Tupper said you would fall if you kept running. So, one of these paths leads to a drop off.�
Tewyn looks down from a tree��Took you...humans...and others long enough.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Nice of you to join us again, Drow.� Eclipse looks up at Tewyn.
^Vincent^: �Well, that would have sucked major donkey balls�� looks at Luna, �Who�s that?�
Tewyn hops down. �Well, you things move too damn slow for my taste.�
Luna_Faline looks up at Tewyn. �Are you ready to go with us now? Or do you still feel the need to worry us needlessly?� I ask him with a growl.
Tabris: Pointing ahead at Tewyn, Tabris nudges Claron. �Looks like our little lost boy decided to show up again.�
Tewyn: �Don�t need you to worry about any part of me...I�m fine as is.�
^Lilly^ eyes Tewyn as she catches up to the group. �Damn you all...come on, why can�t anyone ever LISTEN TO ME!!!�
Claron looks towards where Tabris is pointing, �Well, I�ll be damned.�
^Vincent^: �Cuz ya a whiny, snot-nosed little runt!...that�s why.�
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper pauses at the fork, watching the group for a moment before picking up three rocks from the ground. �Now...Tupper forget where go.� He eyes the paths.
^Lilly^ glares not even noticing him. �OH, and I see Tewyn�s back.�
Luna_Faline frowning at Tewyn, �No, your not. You won�t be fine until you understand the truth. When your ready to hear it let me know.� I turn back to Tupper.
Tewyn: �I know all I need...don�t need any gatherings or so called truths from halflings.�
^Vincent^ looks at Tupper, �You forgot??!�
Claron watches and listens to Tewyn. �I don�t suppose you saw which was the right path to take from the tree top?� asks softly.
Tewyn just ignores Claron.
Luna_Faline in a flash I pounce on Tewyn. �Halflings are better than inbreeds!� I growl at him as I get off him.
^Vincent^: �Ohhh, kitty has claws...I like!�
Tewyn shrugs, �Whatever you say.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Luna fwend waitses,� Tupper throws one of the rocks at the path straight ahead. About six feet down the path the stone vanishes. �Nope�� Turning to the side he eyes the other two paths.
^Lilly^ covers her mouth and giggles, �Go Luna� she whispers in her head.
Tabris: �Guys...come on. We�re out here arguing in the middle of damn forest!� Tabris crosses his arms.
Tewyn: �Just remember...this whatever you want to call me...bested your mixed ass on a drunken day without trying.�
Luna_Faline: �I let you have your way,� I purr gloatingly as I take Lilly�s arm in mine. �Walk with me,� I whisper to her.
Vin_Da_DM: Sighing Eclipse walks over to Tupper and watches him.
^Lilly^ looks at Luna as she walks in stride with her. �What�s up?�
Claron reaches down and picks up a rock and throws it down the middle path.
Tewyn nods, �Yea, that�s what that look of fear in your eyes said too...when you weren�t sure if I was going to drag the sai across your throat or not.�
Luna_Faline moves to the fork and sniffs the trail of one path then the other. �I get an old scent of Tupper on this one,� I tell Eclipse as I pat Lilly�s hand.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s rock vanishes six feet down the path just as the other rock.
Claron watches it drop off.
^Vincent^ stands there and hums, �Yo-ho -yo-o da da dadada.�
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper looks at Luna, �Road change...need test.� He throws his second stone at the left path, which vanishes as well. The third stone lands on the ground of the right path. �That way.�
Luna_Faline throws a comment back at Tewyn. �It would only hurt a moment...remember.�
^Vincent^ starts down the right path.
^Lilly^: �Luna...what did you want. You never ask me to walk with you.��
Tewyn slams his hand down to the ground sending a small pebble shooting into Luna_Faline ass��Yep, your right...just a moment.�
Tabris: �Well then, let�s go then.� Tabris looks at Claron and the others.
Luna_Faline: �You wanted someone to listen to you, I�m all ears,� I purr softly as we turn to the right path leaving Tewyn to watch my tail knock the stone back at him.
Claron looks at Tabris, �To the right we go.�
^Lilly^: �...didn�t mean it like that.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse hops onto Tupper�s cart and sits at the front. �Interesting...the paths are enchanted.�
Luna_Faline: �Then we shall walk in mutual silence, shall we?� I sigh, leaving Tewyn to fume.
Claron watches as the surroundings as they walk down the path... �I wish I knew how to set things right.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hol-ee magik. Keep fang out.� Tupper eyes Eclipse as he walks, �Luna, Luna fwend no go first. Hol-ee cee-ty guard no know.�
^Lilly^ nods, �Yup, guess so.�
Luna_Faline pulls Lilly to the side to let Tupper pass. �Please, lead us then friend.�
^Vincent^ looks down the path.
Luna_Faline falls back into pace with Tupper�s cart next to Lilly. �Nice day, huh?�
Vin_Da_DM: Ahead on the path the trees begin to thin out as the rocky sides of the mountains head up. The path appears to be cut from the rock ahead.
^Lilly^: �Yeah...it is,� sighs as she looks at the ground while they walk. �Just gets me thinking��changing subject, �Um, how long till we get there?�
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper turns his head to Lilly, �No far. Top hill have view cee-ty.� He extends his small hand toward the path ahead as it winds up.
Tabris: �So do I, Babe.� Tabris hugs Claron with his arm around her, �Wonder what this holy city�s gonna be like?�
Luna_Faline: �We�ve made good time then,� watching the sides of the mountains as we pass thru them.
Vin_Da_DM: The mountains are large and stoic. High above the snow covers the lofty peaks and the clouds are thick near the top with snow.
Claron: �Guess we will find out soon enough,� looking back at Tabris, then glancing at Tewyn.
Tewyn is no where to be seen again.
Claron: �Damn�he has disappeared again�� I whisper to Tabris.
^Lilly^ looks behind her and studies the group as they walk. Claron and Tabris intertwined, Tewyn��Oh damn, he left again.� And Vincent. She rolled her eyes as she moves her attention back to the road.
^Vincent: �What are ya rolling ya eyes at runt?�
Luna_Faline: �Tewyn is around, he has a vendetta to hold onto now. He will try to catch me off guard.� I whisper to Lilly.
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper begins to slow his pace as the group reaches the top of the road, �Hol-ee cee-ty!� He points ahead. Down in the valley you see several glistening gold towers standing high off the ground.
Luna_Faline thinks, �Maybe it will distract him from his broken heart�.
^Lilly^ under her breath, �Do we really have to have him along, Luna...something about him just bothers me.�
^Vincent: �So, that�s the holy city!�
Luna_Faline judges Vincent. �I can only hope the Goddess has a purpose for him joining us,� I purrsigh
^Vincent walks past Lilly grinning at her as he passes, nods his head. �Runt,� and walks several paces in front.
Vin_Da_DM: Taking in the view Tupper nods then begins down the path, which winds down the mountain side.
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �Tupper, which is the dwelling of the Holy Lady?� as I look out over the city.
Claron: �Oh, look!� pointing her finger at the golden city.�
^Lilly^: �I just wish he would leave.� Looks at the city. �Wow...that�s...pretty.�
Tabris: �Wow...pretty impressive.� Tabris looks towards the city.
Luna_Faline: �Lilly, do not wish for that. He may become a good friend of yours given time,� I say with a squeeze to her arm that is entwined in mine.
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper motions towards the center tower that seems to be slightly taller than the other six in the circle around it. �Hol-ee lady there. Must go magik door go up.�
^Lilly^ looks disgusted, �Ewww.�
^Vincent keeps on walking. �Your not a bad tour guide, Tupper.�
Luna_Faline nods to Tupper but whispers to Lilly, �Looks are deceiving. The prettiest of faces can be a devil.�
^Lilly^ eyes her, �I was referring to the insect over there,� motions towards Vincent.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s a very pretty face though,� Eclipse looks over to Luna.
Luna_Faline tilts my head at Eclipse questioningly, �I know your talking about Vincent, Lilly. So was I.�
^Lilly^: �Are you trying to tell me I might grow to like him...like him?�
Claron continues toward the city along with Tabris, her eyes searching to see if Tewyn will appear any where near there.
Luna_Faline: �The most annoying person can be your greatest ally. Given time you might be able to at least tolerate him?�
^Lilly^: �I doubt it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shakes his head at Luna then looks ahead down into the valley.
Claron: �And your greatest ally can be your worst enemy,� Claron blurts out.
Luna_Faline nudge�s Lilly with my shoulder. �Trust me, I�ve known many creatures during my time in the Goddess� service. I didn�t like or trust them all when we first met. But over time they proved to be...shall I say, GOOD to have around?�
^Lilly^ shakes her head, �I don�t think I�ll ever like him��
Luna_Faline purr sighs, �Give it time.�
^Vincent starts to laugh for no apparent reason as he walks.
Luna_Faline: �Yes, Claron that is true, too. But I will trust this trail that leads back to a good source. Not one that just appears anymore.�
Vin_Da_DM: As the path continues to wind down fields of plants and flowers that span the hillside come into view. Near the bottom of the hill is a large golden stone pavilion with figures to distant to make out.
Claron: �I can only hope that you are right, Luna.�
Luna_Faline continues to follow Tupper down the path toward the city.
Claron strains trying to make out the people...and specifically looking for someone that looks like a Drow.
^Lilly^ walks steadily next to Luna thinking about what Luna said, she shakes her head. �Never��
Vin_Da_DM: �Magik door, Hol-ee guard,� Tupper motions at the pavilion that grows closer as he lifts his helmet up to chew on a dried meat stick.
^Vincent moves a bit quicker.
Luna_Faline sniffs the air again trying to get a read on Tewyn�s whereabouts.
Vin_Da_DM: As the group gets closer Claron can make out several figures in gold. More figures stand near covered stalls.
Claron: �Tab, even the people look golden!�
Tabris: �Guess somebody�s never heard of restraint when it comes to gold plating things.� Tabris smirks.
Luna_Faline chuckles lightly overhearing Tabris remark.
Vin_Da_DM: The path begins to level out as it approaches the edge of the pavilion. The stalls seem to be places where various fruits and flowers from the hillsides are being gathered. The golden figures are actually soldiers wearing armor.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse glances about the various people gathered in the pavilion, his tail swishes about as he centers his gaze on the guards.
Luna_Faline pulls away from Lilly. �Don�t wonder off,� I whisper to her. I move up to walk next to Eclipse. �What do you think?� I ask him quietly.
Claron: �Must be a wealthy city.�
^Lilly^ grabs some of the fruit as she passes by, �Why would I do that?�.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Nothing feels off. The gold is a bit bright, but I think we�ll be safe here.� Eclipse tilts his head.
Luna_Faline purr rumbles, �That was not what I was referring too��
Vin_Da_DM: One of the guards scowls at Lilly but doesn�t stop her. �Halt travelers!� Another of the guards approaches you, extending her hand.
Claron looks at Tabris as the guard yells for them to halt.
^Lilly^ puts the fruit back, �Sorry.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, Tupper. Bringing more goods for the temple?� The guard lowers her hand and looks at Tupper with a small grin, �Who are the others with you?�
Luna_Faline survey�s the ground around us as we stop when the guard comes to us.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices the stones aren�t really gold, their surfaces merely shining like it. A dozen or so workers are gathering and sorting the flowers and fruit.
Claron stands watching next to Tabris.
Luna_Faline wonders where Tewyn is down there as I look at the dirt path.
Vin_Da_DM: �Fwends. Want to see hol-ee lady,� Tupper motions back to the group then looks at the guard, �Open magik door for Tupper�s fwends?�
Vin_Da_DM: Turning her gaze to the group the guard surveys you all, �Mind yourselves in the city, travelers. Any disruption or ill-conduct will be subject to charge.�
Claron: �Charge? What happens if one is charged?� asks meekly.
Luna_Faline purrs softly, �We only seek guidance in our journey,� as I bow my head to the guard.
Tabris: �I hope you�re not planning on finding out, Babe. �Tabris watches Claron as she asks her question.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse bows his head as well, �We will not disrupt your city, you have my word.�
Claron: �No...I don�t have plans of that sort...just wondering is all,� smiling at Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �Charge will be dealt according to the offense.� The guard eyes Claron the nods to Luna, �Very well. Please wait while the gateway is opened.� She turns and motions to two other guards.
Claron: �How the hell will we know if we have committed an offense when we don�t know what the laws are governing this place?� whispers to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: The two guards turn towards the city, still a long way down the valley ahead of you, and begin to chant. Two large pillars rise from the pavilion in front of them.
Luna_Faline turns to the group, �I suggest we stick together and follow Tupper.�
Tabris: �Well...play it safe and friendly and I think we�ll be okay.� Tabris whispers back to Claron, watching the guards.
Claron nods her head.
Luna_Faline looks back at the pillars appearing ahead of us. �I am worried that Tewyn will get in trouble here,� I sigh to Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: With a soft zapping sound a large green energy doorway appears, then clears to reveal a large golden chamber, a set of guards on the other side of the gateway nod to the head guard.
^Lilly^: �So what happens when we get in the city?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alright, you may proceed. If you need assistance feel free to inquire with any of the Templar stationed in the city.� The guard smiles and steps back, allowing you to pass.
Claron: �I think, I prefer if we had a choice of places to stay, would be where we transported in at�� smiling at Tabris, �Reminded me of our vacation spot .�
Claron hooks her arm in Tabris� arm and walks cautiously into the gateway.
Luna_Faline moves toward the gate with Eclipse and Tupper.
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper walks into the gateway ahead and seamlessly ends up walking into the large golden room.
Luna_Faline looks around the bright room as we enter
Tabris: �Seems the inside�s just as jazzed up at the outside. This place must cost a fortune to keep shiny.� Tabris looks around the massive golden room.
Claron: �Where is this Holy Lady?� asks barely above a whisper.
Vin_Da_DM: The large chamber is multi-tiered and seems to be the heart of the city. Crowds of people mill about the marketplace which takes up the entire bottom tier and part of the second. You find yourselves on the third tier, a large set of golden stairs leading up to a pillared temple.
Claron: �I would venture to guess we must go up�� looking at the large set of golden stairs in front of them.
Vin_Da_DM: �Most impressive�� Eclipse looks around the chamber.
Luna_Faline: �Yes, very nice place�� I purr with a paw rubbing my amulet absently.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hol-ee temp-el there,� Tupper points at the temple, then begins to head off toward a group of grey-robed figures at the bottom of the stairs, �Hol-ee man tell us lady.�
Luna_Faline follows Tupper toward the group of priests.
Claron watches Tupper as Tabris and I start to follow him.
Tabris: �Claron...I think we found the five star hotel,� Tabris whistles as he looks over the edge of the tier down at the marketplace.
Claron: �I prefer the woods and the lake,� whispers back to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: One of the priests notices Tupper and grins. Approaching he folds his hands together in front of him, �Blessed be. Bringing items for the temple again young master Tupper?�
^Lilly^ trudges in, after falling to the back again...
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes. Fwends to. Want see hol-ee lady,� Tupper looks at Luna then turns back, �Werz for hol-ee temp-el, take?� He motions to the horse who draws up next to him and stops.
Luna_Faline stops next to the small wagon with Eclipse and waits.
Vin_Da_DM: The rest of the monks fold their hands before looking over the cart�s contents.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse hops out of the way of the priests and looks at Luna.
Claron and Tabris stop behind Luna.
Luna_Faline wonders why Eclipse is looking at me like that...
Claron whispers behind Luna...�Looks like you have an admirer,� noticing Eclipse looking at Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods then speaks, �Forgive me...simply wondering what you are going to ask this Holy woman.�
Claron: �I know what I want to ask her�� mumbles quickly after hearing Eclipse comment.
Luna_Faline: �I hadn�t really planned what I would say....I suppose for help in finding our way. Information?�
Vin_Da_DM: Tupper turns to the group and nods as the lead priest hands him a small bag, �Tupper go see fam-lee now. Luna, Luna fwends ok from here?�
Luna_Faline bows low to Tupper, �Thank you, Tupper, for your generous help.�
Claron nods to Tupper, �We will be fine...thank you for your kindness.��
Luna_Faline: �May you be blessed with peace,� I purr as I stand up straight.
Claron thinks to herself that she would be hell of lot better if she could get her children back.
Vin_Da_DM: �Help good fwends. See later!� Tupper hops once, then crawls in his now empty cart and heads off toward the ramp going down a tier.
Vin_Da_DM: �Travelers, please proceed to the temple if you wish to see the high priestess.� The priest motions towards the stairs with a bow.
Tabris: �Nice little guy...I might miss him.� Tabris watches Tupper leave, then looks back at the temple.
Luna_Faline bows to the priest then turns toward the stairs he points out. �Yes, very helpful little man.� I add as I move to go up the steps.
Claron smiles, then steps forward and begins to walk up the stairs.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse starts up the stairs behind Luna, looking around.
Luna_Faline smoothes my robe, tightening my belt and adjusting my sai as I reach the top of the stairs.
Claron looks around as she reaches the top of the stairs with Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: As you reach the top of the stairs you notice the large set of golden doors flanked by two rows of columns. Priests mill about the large entry plaza and two guards look your way from near the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron sees that the temple is in the center of the large golden room, the ceiling above the temple is an intricate glass dome.
Tabris: �Guess we go inside?� Tabris looks towards the door and guards.
Claron: �This is way finer than any palace I have ever seen.�
Luna_Faline moves toward the guards at a stately pace, carrying myself as a priestess would. �I am Luna, Servant of the Goddess Selenia, we request an audience with your priestess please.� I state clearly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course, m�lady.� The guards chime in unison then open the doors for you, giving you a view of the room beyond.
Claron walks proudly into the room alongside of Tabris.
Luna_Faline nods slightly to the guards as I pass thru the door. Entering the room I look around for the priestess.
Vin_Da_DM: The large room is multi-tiered just like the room outside, though it is made with dark stones. At the head of the room is a half-circle with three two story tall statues. A gray clothed woman with pink hair kneels in front of them.
Claron looks at the woman kneeling in front of the tall statues, �Should we interrupt her?� I whisper.
Luna_Faline approaches the woman slowly and moves to her side silently waiting for her to end her prays.
Claron and Tabris follow behind Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: �Let us see what happens,� Eclipse speaks softly as he approaches the woman.
Vin_Da_DM: The priestess gets to her feet, folding her hands at each statue in turn before turning around. On the skirt section of her clothing are two orange markings.
Vin_Da_DM: With her pink eyes she smiles at you, then looks at each of you in turn speaking, �Luna, Eclipse, Claron, Tabris and Lilly in the back. The Gods told me you would come.�
Luna_Faline bows low to the priestess and to her gods in turn. �We seek your guidance in our journey.�
Claron looks at the woman then at the rest of the group��And what else did the Gods tell you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices the center statue bears a striking resemblance to Selenia as she bows to the statues.
Luna_Faline smiles to myself as I turn from the statues to face the lady and our group.
Vin_Da_DM: �They said the Knights of the Heavens would come to me for aid.� She steps to the side, touching a black tattoo on her chest, �Where are my manners, I am Jinana. High Priestess of the Three Gods.�
Luna_Faline nods, �Jinana, I am pleased to meet a fellow servant.� I purr lowering my hood.
Claron nods to Jinana.
Luna_Faline: �What do the Gods tell you about our fellow Warriors? And the stolen children?� I ask.
Claron tightens her grip on Tabris� arm as she hears Luna mention the children.
Vin_Da_DM: Jinana smiles then steps out of the half-circle, �Your fellow Warriors are spread across the stars like seeds cast to ground. Your children...you seek many things. I am afraid I can only help you with a little of them.�
Tabris: �Anything you can tell us will be a great help, Jinana.� Tabris looks at Jinana with a questioning look.
Luna_Faline: �I am only concerned with the recent arrivals, Jinana, not the future ones.�
Claron: � A little is better than nothing.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I will answer what I can,� Jinana studies Claron and Tabris, �You will see your children again but the dark hand shadows as to when.� Turning she motions to two priests, �I must rest, these two will show you to rooms. I will call for you once I have revitalized.�
Luna_Faline nods to Jinana. �May your rest be blessed with peace,� I purr softly.
Claron looks at Tabris with a glimmer of hope then giggles... �Looks like we get to stay in your five-star hotel.�
Vin_Da_DM: As she walks towards a set of doors in the back Jinana pauses, �Trust your fellows Luna. What lies ahead of you will require cooperation, without it...�Lowering her head she sighs, �Blessed be.�
Claron: �I don�t like the sound of a dark hand shadows being in control of them neither��
Luna_Faline looks around at the group as she leaves .�Blessed be��
Vin_Da_DM: Jinana disappears into her private chambers as the two priests approach you, �Travelers, please this way.�
Luna_Faline motions everyone to follow them. �Claron, at least they are alive. That is a little comfort.�
Vin_Da_DM: The priests lead you toward a ramp to the next tier, �You must be greatly blessed, travelers. Lady Jinana has spoken of nothing else but your arrival for days.�
Claron nods at Luna as Tab and her follow the two guards.
Claron: �Yes, blessed enough to lose our children,� whispers to Tabris.
Luna_Faline: �I pray that we will be blessed once again.�� I sigh looking back at the statue of Selenia as I follow the priests.
Vin_Da_DM: As you are lead into a large room with several cots and a table the priests bow and exit, leaving you to contemplate many things. In the echoing halls of the temple you hear a low roar coming from the main chamber...
