Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Stuck onboard the E.S. Icarus, the Warriors, managed to make their way off the robot-infested ship. During their search Claron and Stryder came across Midnight, a mysterious black dog.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight led the two to an injured alien called Gnomon, a scientist onboard the Icarus, who they rescued. After the group safely boarded the Ettik, the E.S. Icarus and it�s insane AI Cypher disappeared into the vastness of space.
Vin_Da_DM: While attending to Gnomon, Stryder was informed he had information regarding Gabe, who the Warriors last saw dealing with RD�s attack on his space station. Gnomon told Stryder this information should be heard by everyone, so Stryder sent Clarissa to tell the others.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes Clarissa again, �Come on�don�t just stand there, go tell them!�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Clarissa dashes quickly thru the ship running into Tabris and Claron in the process. �Stryder sent me to inform you and the rest of the crew that alien dude has info regarding someone named Gabe.�
Fern suddenly emerges from the tree and lands on her arse.
Tabris turns and looks at Clarissa, �Did I hear that? Gabe, eh?�
Fern shakes her head dazedly, a huge ecstatic grin on her face.
Claron looks at Clarissa then back at Tabris, �Gabe?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Enjoying our self are we?� Alexei leans a hand against the doorframe as he looks at Fern in the botanical bay.
Fern drunkenly staggers to her feet and weaves her way to the door.
Fern: �Oh my goddess, that was amazing,� I grin stupidly.
Tabris: �Well, if it�s about him, I say we go hear him out,� Tabris studies Clarissa then eyes Claron with a shrug.
Claron: �Ettik, notify all Warriors that Dr. Gnomon has information concerning Gabe, and to report to sick bay ASAP.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I see. Just don�t mess anything up.� Alexei shakes his head at Fern before turning and disappearing into the hallway.
Fern: �I appear to be stuck in this form, I wonder how long that�ll last?� looking curiously at Alexei.
Claron nods her head in agreement with Tabris, �Yes, indeed.�
Vin_Da_DM: The lights overhead pulse for a second as if in recognition then return to normal.
Fern staggers after Alexei calling out to his disappearing form, �Hang on, wait for me!�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei slows his pace and looks over his shoulder, �Well, come on then.�
Fern giggling to herself catches up.
Clarissa smirks at Tabris then eyes Claron. �So, guess I don�t have to hunt down the others now.� Clarissa dashes quickly back to Medical and stops beside Stryder. ~Did as you requested~ then looks over at the dog.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse cringes as he studies the laser burns on his chest with his hand, �Put up quite the fight for a tin can��
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight tilts his head at Clarissa, ears perking at her.
Luna_Faline gently places a paw on Eclipse�s chest and wills it to heal.
Luna_Faline: �I hate abandoned ships,� I whisper.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse�s wounds fight it for a second before beginning to seal up. Eclipse cringes then eyes over Luna�s shoulder at the wall. �Looks like we�ve got a message��
Clarissa: ~Sure hope you were just marking your territory.~
Vin_Da_DM: �Do you change frequently or is this a rare thing?� Alexei glances at Fern as they walk, turning his head for a moment he nods, �Seems we�re needed in the med bay.�
Luna_Faline purrs softly, �Sorry,� looks over my shoulder, �Huh?�
Fern looks down at herself, �Um, no�I have never been unable to change at will before,� gets a dreamy look on her face, �He is special.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks away from Gnomon who is studying his datapad, �I doubt he�ll understand it that way any better.�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices a holographic screen on the wall, a short messaging saying �Please report to the medical bay� is displayed.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian ducks slightly into the medical bay then looks around, �I trust this is important?�
Tabris: Heading for the med bay Tabris smiles at Claron, �Next time we�re sticking together.�
Luna_Faline: �Never get a break, do we? I suppose we should go check on everyone else,� with a purrsigh.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stands with a small grunt, �I suppose.�
Claron shakes her head as she slides her arm around Tabris waist and Clarissa disappears in a blur. �She sure moves quickly that daughter of ours��
Tabris: �Noticed that did you?� Tabris smirks at Claron.
Claron: �Was it that bad�being with her?�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight pads across the room, sniffing the Guardian and looking him. Wagging his tail Midnight bounds out of the med bay into the hall.
Luna_Faline leads the way to the med bay, �Hope no one is hurt too bad.�
Tabris pauses in the hallway with Claron, knocking on one of the room doors, �Hey Clarice, there�s a meeting in the med bay, you coming?�
Clarissa looks at the Guardian, �Stryder seemed to think it was.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon looks up from his datapad as Eclipse and Luna enter the med bay, �There are a few...*cough* of you missing.�
Luna_Faline shrugs, �Free will.�
Luna_Faline looks him over, �So, what can I do to help you?�
Clarice hearing Tabris calls out, �Be right there.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder glances around the med bay for a moment, �Your dog ran off, Sis.�
Fern skips along behind Alexei following him wherever.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei pauses in front of the medical bay and looks at Fern as she skips past, �Hey...back here, garden girl.�
Fern: �Oops.�
Fern crowds behind Alexei at the doorway looking over his shoulder into the room curiously.
Vin_Da_DM: Entering the medical bay Alexei nods to the gathered crew, �Ettik says Shinta and Kuan are busy.�
Clarice walks over to Tewyn who laid down on the bed as soon as we had entered the room, shaking him slightly, �Tewyn?�
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon looks at Luna with a nod, �Don�t worry about me, *cough* I�m doing much better thanks to this young man.�
Tewyn responds by rolling over and begins to snore.
Vin_Da_DM: �It was nothing...really.� Stryder leans against the counter watching Gnomon.
Fern scuttles in after Alexei and peers from behind him.
Clarice shakes her head, then quietly leaves the room and heads to Medical.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...you look different,� Eclipse notices Fern behind Alexei.
Fern giggles, looks at herself and shrugs, �It was him,� gesturing vaguely in the plant room direction, �I can�t change back�
Clarissa shrugs her shoulders, �He isn�t my dog, not yet�anyways.�
Vin_Da_DM: As Clarice, Claron and Tabris reach Medical Gnomon nods again, �Good, now I suppose...*cough* I should explain.�
Fern perches cross legged on a bench trying to blend and failing, her body a deep green color and her hair all over the place.
Luna_Faline: �So you have something to tell us?� drawing attention back to Gnomon.
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon punches a few buttons on his datapad, �A while ago the Icarus stopped at a space station owned by Gabe. I suppose you know him?�
Luna_Faline: �Some of us do, go on.�
Claron nods her head, �Yes.�
Fern raises one of her eyebrows but holds her tongue.
Clarice smiles, �Of course.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, yes. Well, he asked if an associate of his could sign on with the Icarus. We agreed, this young man brought with him that dog, Midnight. I didn�t think much of it at first��
Luna_Faline raises an eyebrow, �What was the young man�s name?�
Fern blurts out, �There is a dog?�
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon continues, �The young man? Jones. But anyway, after everything went awry, I noticed a data-device on the dog�s collar after he found me.�
Luna_Faline: �What did the device have on it?�
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon digs in his pocket pulling out a small rectangular block, �There�s a message on it addressed to �Warriors�. It also gives descriptions of some of you incase it did not reach you directly.�
Clarissa pipes up, �Then the dog doesn�t belong to you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian crosses his arms as his �eye� zooms in on the device, �Interesting��
Luna_Faline takes the block and looks at it. �Well, can we see what�s on it?� I look at Alexei.
Vin_Da_DM: �No, his owner died,� Gnomon hands the device to Luna, �The message is passworded and I was unable to break it. Perhaps Jones would had known more.�
Tabris: �Well if it�s passworded, what makes you think we�ll know it?� Tabris looks at Gnomon with a questioning glance.
Clarice stands listening quietly thinking to herself, �Tewyn hasn�t been himself since we got off that ship�.
Luna_Faline: �We�ll figure it out,� thoughtfully.
Fern slides down off the bench heading for the door slowly.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight slinks into the med bay again, pausing to sniff Fern intently and looks at her confused.
Fern gasps at Midnight and drops to her haunches.
Clarissa actually gets a smile that shows pure happiness on her face, ~I always wanted a dog, but Shaiya wouldn�t let me have one�remember, Stryder?~
Luna_Faline looks around the med bay for a computer to plug it into.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Yes...I also remember you trying to befriend one of RD�s cyber-mutts. Tried to gnaw your leg off.~ Stryder�s gaze shifts over to Clarissa.
Clarice: �Mind if I have a look at it, Luna_Faline?�
Luna_Faline sighs, �Clarice, you were the computer girl,� handing it to her.
Vin_Da_DM: Taking a few steps back as Fern crouches Midnight sits, tilts his head and looks at her.
Clarice nods her head, then takes the block from Luna_Faline and looks at it very closely.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks at Clarice and Luna, �I�m afraid I don�t know what that is, exactly.�
Vin_Da_DM: The �block� as it were is metallic. It has several small plugs on bottom as well as a metal ring set into the top.
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon nods, �If you plug a computer or datapad cord into it, you get that message I told you about.�
Fern looks back at Midnight and whines softly under her breath tilting her own head in the opposite direction to his.
Clarice sees the small plugs on it.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight stands slowly, sniffing Fern again before licking her on the cheek once. Wagging his tail he looks around at the others in the room.
Clarice walks over towards the computer terminal and plugs the block into the computer.
Fern flicks into a dog form and back again to her dryad form.
Fern: �Ooooh, weird.�
Clarissa notices Midnight licking that funny green girl, ~You could have marked her the same way you did me.~
Fern tilts her head and frowns in puzzlement.
Vin_Da_DM: The computer screen lights up for a moment, then a text screen pops up. �Message for Warriors. Enter password. Courier should look for a red haired woman with blue eyes, a humanoid-feline woman, or a white-haired man with golden eyes who match the names pre-given.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight barks after Fern shifts from dog back to Dryad then turns and heads out of the med bay again.
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon watches Clarice, then glances around shortly. �If it is not much trouble I will need to reach the nearest star base. From there I can get my own passage.�
Luna_Faline has a bad feeling about this but tries to shake it off. �Well, if it�s from Gabe, try Selenia?�
Clarice thinks for a few moments then types in �CL-FT�.
Luna_Faline: �Why did you type that?�
Luna_Faline watching the screen over Clarice�s shoulder
Clarice: �It�s the initials of those Gabe described,� states in a matter of fact tone.
Vin_Da_DM: The screen buzzes, �Password incorrect. System password re-initialization remaining: 3�
Clarice types in Selenia.
Vin_Da_DM: Again the screen lights up, �Password incorrect, system password re-initialization remaining: 2�
Luna_Faline looks around puzzled, �What happens if we don�t get it in the next 2?�
Fern looks after Midnight and starts to slide towards the door.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, while they�re working on that I will go see what Ettik�s systems have on nearby stations,� Alexei nods to Gnomon before leaving, dodging Fern as he does.
Tabris eyes Claron, �Whatever that message is, I hope your sister can get it for us.�
Clarice: �Then we will not ever know,� wishing she had her password breaker disk. Clarice then types in the word �Midnight�.
Fern quickly follows Alexei with a backward glance to the others in the room.
Luna_Faline follows Alexei into the hall and whispers, �Can you isolate that computer from the rest of the ships systems? I�m nervous about this whole thing��
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stands on the other side of Clarice watching her as the screen replies again. �System password re-initialization remaining: 1�
Fern calls back into the room, �Did you try that Warriors thingy?�
Clarice: �Well, fuck me running!� rubbing her chin thoughtfully.
Vin_Da_DM: �Already done,� Alexei nods to Luna as he continues down the hall.
Luna_Faline nods and turns back to the med bay, thinking hard for a password. �What was his pet�s name?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian shifts his stance, �Any luck on that password?�
Clarice looks over at the Guardian nervously, �I�m afraid not and I am down to the last allowable attempt.�
Luna_Faline: �Gabe?�
Luna_Faline: �I have no clue,� with a sigh.
Vin_Da_DM: �Why would he make his own name the password?� Eclipse raises a brow at Luna.
Fern sticks her head back into the med bay, �Destiny?�
Luna_Faline: �I don�t know, why not? As good a guess as anything else at this point.�
Clarice takes a deep breath, �Here goes nothing,� then types in �Destiny�.
Tabris: �One guess? Man...this is like those action vids. One mistake and we�ll blow up!� Tabris exclaims.
Luna_Faline holds my breath, waiting for something to happen.
Claron tightens her grip around Tabris� waist.
Vin_Da_DM: The screens buzzes and a different screen pops up, �File access granted. Download file?�
Fern smiles at everyone before ducking back out of the room again.
Luna_Faline: �That was brilliant,� exhaling slowly.
Clarice lets out a sigh of relief.
Clarice then begins to download the file.
Fern pops her head back into the med bay, �I can change, look!� She is in her human form again.
Luna_Faline looks at Fern oddly, �Okay.�
Fern waves at all and leaves again.
Vin_Da_DM: �File downloading...completed. Playback initiated.� The screen goes dark as a holographic representation of Gabe appears.
Vin_Da_DM: Noticing the hologram the Guardian nods, �Looks like it worked.�
Luna_Faline moves closer for a better look.
Clarice stands back slightly.
Vin_Da_DM: The hologram takes a few steps then speaks, in Gabe�s voice, �Got it on the last try...getting rusty? Now this recording has been laden with a vocal recognition system. If you�re not someone who I want listening, the device will vaporize everything within a 50-meter radius.�
Luna_Faline: �Oh goddess,� I whisper.
Clarice shakes her head, knowing that it has been awhile since she got to do anything with encryption.
Vin_Da_DM: Holographic Gabe turns, �Seems you are who you should be. Then I shall continue.� The hologram takes a few steps again, �Now, when we last met I offered you a job to meet an associate of mine, who had something of value that I wanted.�
Vin_Da_DM: �The unfortunate attack against my station has hastened my timetable. I require you find my associate immediately and retrieve him and his cargo.� Gabe sighs and lowers his head, �In the event any harm has come to him, but the cargo remains retrieve it.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If both are lost, then this galaxy is in grave danger. Included with this message is a set of co-ordinates and the appropriate information to contact my associate.� Gabe turns and extends a hand, �I trust you will deal with this to the best of your abilities...it will more than likely require them.�
Claron: �Great, just like the old days.�
Luna_Faline sighs heavily, �We are serious business for my Mistress, should we be distracted by this now?�
Vin_Da_DM: A short pause before the Gabe hologram lifts his head, green eyes pulse briefly, �And if this message reaches your hands by someone other than my courier, take caution to trust them. Appearances can be deceiving��
Claron looks over at Dr. Gnomon.
Fern wanders back into the med bay looking lost and unsure.
Vin_Da_DM: Oddly Dr. Gnomon has completely vanished from the medical bay.
Luna_Faline thinks to myself, �I knew it� as I look over to where Gnomon was laying.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks around blinking, �What the hell...how did he...?�
Luna_Faline: �I don�t like this, what if that guy was part of the evil ship? Now, it�s on Ettik?� I growl.
Claron has a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach.
Luna_Faline: �Where is that dog?� looking around the med bay for the flea bag.
Vin_Da_DM: The computer buzzes and the message ends.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna hears a loud barking from down the hallway.
Luna_Faline quickly leaves the med bay to find the barking dog.
Clarissa stands back smirking, �Way to go, Mommy dearest,� says sarcastically.
Tabris: �That doesn�t sound good!� Tabris looks at Claron and the others.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian unsheathes the spear from his back, �It appears the fight is not over yet��
Clarissa dashes quickly towards the sound of Midnight�s barking.
Fern: There is something wrong,� shaking her head in irritation, �There is a terrible deadness somewhere, no sound.�
Vin_Da_DM: Clarissa hears a yelp as Midnight comes flying through the air, colliding with her mid-run, knocking her off her feet.
Clarice nods her head in Tabris direction then heads out to follow the sound of Midnight.
Luna_Faline extends my claws as I run past Clarissa and the dog��What is going on?� I growl.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna hears a deep echoing laugh as a shadowy figure down the hall disappears into a crack in the flooring. Ettik�s lighting in the hallway begins to dim considerably.
Luna_Faline: �Oh, Goddess! I knew it!!!� Growling again.
Clarissa finds herself on her backside, with Midnight in her lap.
Fern follows the others down the corridor shaking her head and grimacing.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse runs up behind Luna looking over her shoulder, �Did you see it?�
Luna_Faline: �Yes, a shadow seeped into the crack in the floor. Ettik and all of us are in danger.�
Fern: �Hey!� calling out to the others.
Clarissa looks down at Midnight and whispers softly, �You okay, Midnight?� as she gentle strokes his head.
Vin_Da_DM: �Wait...you said a shadow?� Eclipse looks at Luna.
Luna_Faline nods, �Yes.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight whimpers as he softly pads off of Clarissa, managing a small wag he looks at her.
Vin_Da_DM: �...I was afraid of this�� Eclipse mutters to himself before running down the hallway.
Fern shaking her head, �Hey, I can tell where it is,� she says louder.
Claron and Tabris make their way behind the others. Claron stoops down close to Clarissa. �You aren�t hurt anywhere are you, Clarissa?�
Tabris: �You can, can you?� Tabris looks at Fern.
Fern: �Yes.�
Luna_Faline turns to look at Fern closely, �How?�
Fern: �It is dead space.�
Claron offers a helping hand to Clarissa.
Fern shrugs, �There is no sound where it is.�
Luna_Faline: �I see,� looking at her still.
Clarissa: �Like you really care?!� Ignoring Claron�s hand pushes herself back up to her feet.
Fern: �Everything alive has a sound all of its own,� shakes her head in irritation, �I don�t know how to explain.�
Vin_Da_DM: Pausing in the hallway Eclipse kneels and examines the floor, then looks back at Fern. �It�s alive. And I know what you�re talking about.�
Clarissa then looks back at Midnight and smiles.
Fern looks confused.
Luna_Faline turns to study the dog.
Fern: �Why is there no sound from it? If it is alive why does it have dead space?� She asks plaintively.
Luna_Faline: �Because it is a shadow? Did you hear the dead space when it was laying in on the table?�
Fern eyes widen in surprise, �No, I didn�t.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shakes his head, �I can deal with this alone�� Lowering his head Eclipse disappears into the darkness of the hallway.
Luna_Faline prays silently to the goddess, �Be with him.�
Claron: �Maybe because its pure evil?�
Vin_Da_DM: Sniffing the ground Midnight looks around, then barks again.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight runs off down another hallway, barking as he goes.
Fern flicks into a hawk and flies after Midnight silently.
Clarissa dashes off behind Midnight keeping up with him.
Vin_Da_DM: The coms in the hallway hum to life, filled with more static than usual with Alexei�s voice. �What in the hell is going on? Ettik�s power grid is fluctuating and I�ve lost coms with half that level!�
Luna_Faline decides not to waste all my strength chasing shadows, and goes toward the bridge instead.
Claron shaking her head, �I�m afraid we brought back someone we shouldn�t have, Alexei.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers in next to Tabris and Claron, looking around, �I got the info we need from that data�did you guys find that guy?�
Luna_Faline entering the bridge I take a seat. �That guy was no man, my fear was true. It was a shadow from the other ship. Eclipse is trying to take care of him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks at Luna, �Well, I hope he does...this �shadow� of yours is...aghh!� Alexei closes his eyes and holds his forehead, �Hurting��
Claron: �Excellent. Several have gone after it, your sister included,� replies back to Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight stops in front of one of the cargo bays, clawing at the door and barking.
Fern while winging after Clarissa and Midnight she sends her essence out to Ettik, whispering, �Can you hear me?�
Vin_Da_DM: Fern gets a feeling of confusion and pain back from Ettik.
Clarissa: ~Stryder, Midnight has found something in this cargo bay.~
Fern�s wings falter as the feeling washes over her, but she gathers herself and sets up a block, flying true once more.
Vin_Da_DM: �That would figure..� Stryder pauses and looks up for a moment, �Sis says there�s something in the cargo bay.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight barks, then backs out of the way of the door as several loud thuds echo from inside.
Claron looks at Tab then starts running towards the cargo bay area.
Fern flicks back to her human form behind Clarissa and placing her hand on Ettik�s hull she tries to send the block into to it�s being.
Tabris sighs, �Bad guys...always bad guys.� He runs after Claron with Stryder behind him.
Clarissa watches Midnight, �Easy, boy!�
Vin_Da_DM: Fern is interrupted as a black �beam� slices a cut into the cargo bay door. You can hear Ettik moan softly under the regular ship noise.
Fern trying once more to reach Ettik, *Can you use this?*
Claron hears the thuds that are coming from the cargo bay as she approaches Clarissa and Midnight.
Fern yells in pain as Ettik�s pain slices into her head.
Clarice rushes after the others.
Claron opens the cargo bay door and cautiously peeks inside.
Fern sobs as she forces her block higher and sends it into Ettik.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s gaze is met briefly by a cargo container flying into the hallway, crashing into the wall opposite the doorway. Followed by Kuan sliding across the floor crashing against the container.
Claron dodges the cargo container, �Kuan!�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan plants his katana in the flooring to help to get to his feet, �That...hurt.�
Vin_Da_DM: Spitting up some blood Kuan wipes his mouth and grips his katana, �If you wouldn�t mind helping��
Claron starts to help Kuan, concentrating as she reaches him, and lightening his gravity as she does so.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight looks inside the cargo bay and whimpers, backing away into the hallway.
Fern sags against the corridor wall, slowly sliding down to the floor, her hands still firmly planted against the metal.
Clarissa watches Midnight. �What�s matter, boy?�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan nods to Claron as he gets his footing. Slowly he walks back into the cargo bay.
Claron follows Kuan inside the cargo bay.
Fern hears Midnight, �Here, boy. Come and help me,� she whistles gently and softly to him.
Vin_Da_DM: Inside the cargo bay is quite a mess, cargo containers are scattered about, several of them �cut� in half. Ahead in the center of the bay is a thick black cloud in which you can faintly see movement.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight looks at Clarissa, then moves over to Fern.
Claron notices the mess, then watches what appears to be a thick black cloud.
Tabris walks up behind Claron with a short whistle��Man...just keeps getting better an� better.�
Clarissa follows Midnight reaching her hand out towards Fern.
Fern looking at Clarissa, �Help me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Several figures seemingly shaped of the black cloud itself step out of the cloud and spread themselves out.
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan narrows his gaze, �Evil creatures...we cannot allow this to continue!�
Clarissa looks at Midnight then back at Fern, then helps her up. All the while thinking, �I don�t know why I should?�
Fern looks intently at Clarissa, �Help me block Ettik.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers into the cargo bay next to the cloud, pausing as he looks at it, �Umm....that�s new.�
Claron watches the creatures as they spread themselves out.
Clarissa looks at Fern puzzled, �How do I do that?�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight sits and glances between Clarissa and Fern, tilting his head slightly at them both.
Fern looks unsure, �There is something in you, something strong that you can use to block Ettik. Find it, use it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan raises his blade and jumps forward, slicing at one of the figures. The others respond and begin to attack everyone in the cargo bay.
Fern: �I don�t know, I can sense it, you are very strong,� putting her hands on the wall and looking at Midnight whining at him gently. Looking back at Clarissa again, �Just put your hands on the wall and try to block it,� shrugging.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei cringes again as looks at Luna, �We need to get rid of this thing�� Falling to one knee as he clenches a fist, �Before it does too much damage.�
Clarissa, �I don�t have any special power.� Then reaches deep and thinks of an impenetrable ship.
Clarissa shrugs her shoulders as she continues to think and places her hands on the ships walls.
Vin_Da_DM: Fern and Clarissa both begin to feel Ettik�s pain pass into them but it slowly begins to ease.
Claron concentrates on Kuan and Tabris trying to aid them in making the gravity of the swords heavy to help them hit their marks.
Fern sighs as she feels strength coming from Clarissa and passing into Ettik making things easier.
Clarissa feels pain beginning to pass into her, �OH! I don�t like this! It hurts!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Mom, lookout!� Stryder exclaims as he shimmers next to her, grabs her and shimmers out just as the figure fires another of the �beams� at her.
Fern: �Don�t stop.�
Luna_Faline: �Where is Eclipse?� I ask reaching over to put a paw on Alexei.
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan manages to disperse one of the figures, then shifts his gaze to the other ones.
Tabris: �Arggh....damn it!� Tabris curses as a beam scrapes his leg, twirling his swords he attacks the shadowy figure in front of him.
Clarissa continues to feel the pain, tears run down her cheeks as the images of the things Shaiya and RD did to others run thru her mind.
Vin_Da_DM: Fern notices the lights in the hallway begin to get brighter.
Luna_Faline: �If they had stayed in the cargo bay, we could have opened the door and sent them into nothing,� I growl.
Fern looks over at Clarissa, �It is working, please keep it up!� Notes Clarissa�s tears and quickly whines to Midnight.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei shakes his head, �I don�t know where Eclipse went�� Breathing heavily he stays on one knee.
Luna_Faline holds my amulet in one paw and keeps the other one on Alexei trying to will strength into him.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder and Claron reappear in the hallway outside the cargo bay, he blinks, �Phew��
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight tilts his head noticing Clarissa, he leans down and licks her hand.
Clarice enters the cargo bay and starts coating the floor underneath of the creature with ice blocks that encase their feet and legs.
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice�s ice manages to disperse the remaining figures. Though the ominous cloud still sits in the middle of the cargo bay.
Claron: �You left your father in there!� turning to head back inside of the cargo bay.
Vin_Da_DM: �I know!� Stryder looks over at Clarissa, �Sis? You okay?�
Clarice looks at the cloud, �What the f�?�
Tabris: Ripping part of his shirt off Tabris wraps it around his thigh, �Sonuva��
Clarissa has tears streaming down her cheeks, ~It hurts! It hurts bad!~
Clarice notices Tabris bandaging a wound and chills his blood just enough to help slow the flow.
Vin_Da_DM: The cloud begins to thin and a figure at it�s center becomes noticeable. The echoing voice speaks, �I see the mortals...now, where is the one I seek.�
Claron enters the cargo bay, �Just which mortal is it you seek?�
Luna_Faline continues trying to push strength into Alexei, �What is going on?� I purr softly.
Clarissa feels the softness of Midnight�s tongue as he licks her hand.
Vin_Da_DM: �It has been a long time�� Eclipse slides up from the darkness near the others. �Everyone get back. This is my fight.�
Claron rushes over to Tabris� side.
Vin_Da_DM: �Something in the cargo bay�� Alexei cringes, �Ettik�s systems...burning in my head.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Shadow Walker. It is time we put this to an end�� The cloud absorbs into the figure making him completely visible.
Luna_Faline moves my paw from Alexei to the console next to me, I pray for healing and strength to flow into Ettik, �Oh, my Goddess, help us.�
Fern: *Ettik! Hear me now Ettik! You need to let Alexei free from you. He can help you from the bridge, but only if you let him out of you* sends it strongly and firmly to Ettik.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stares the figure, who with exception for the suit and face bears a striking resemblance to Eclipse, �Leave them out of this, Leonidas. Your fight is with me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Fern feels the pain dimming but gets no response from Ettik about Alexei.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks at Luna and nods, �Thank you...but until that thing is gone,� Alexei turns his head, �It won�t go away!�
Vin_Da_DM: Leonidas grins, �Very well. I suggest you prepare yourself Shadow Walker,� Leonidas stands quietly, his gaze set on Eclipse ignoring everyone else.
Luna_Faline stands up and leaves the bridge, I head to the cargo bay.
Clarice watches Eclipse and the face that resembles him.
Vin_Da_DM: Looking around at the others Eclipse sighs heavily, �Everyone please leave...this fight cannot be settled here without endangering you.�
Luna_Faline reaches the cargo bay and steps inside the door.
Claron helps move Tabris back from the others.
Claron starts moving Tabris towards the door, �You heard him��
Clarice follows Claron and Tab out.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over his shoulder at Luna and lowers his head, muttering to himself, �It must be done��
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan nods and heads for the hallway with Claron and Tabris.
Luna_Faline bows my head and waits for everyone else to leave the cargo bay.
Claron notices Clarissa with her hands against Ettik�s walls, then whispers to Tabris, �Are my eyes deceiving me? Are those tears I see?�
Fern turns to the others gathered in the corridor outside the cargo bay doorway, �Help us, we need you to lend your strength to Ettik. We need to block what it is doing to Ettik,� she implores.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns the side giving a cold stare to Leonidas before looking back at Luna.
Luna_Faline lifts my head and looks at Eclipse then steps thru the door, �May the Goddess protect you and keep you,� I pray.
Vin_Da_DM: Leonidas extends his hand straight out to the side as a large black vortex appears in the air next to him.
Clarice nods her head and places her hands up against Ettik�s wall, �Now what?�
Fern: �Just reach inside and send it to Ettik.� Tilts her head, �You are all so full.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Luna...I�ll see you again, I promise.� Eclipse sets his gaze at Luna for what seems like forever before breaking it. �My...love.� Eclipse turns and both he and Leonidas turn into thick black clouds that disappear into the vortex with an echo that sounds across the entire ship.
Claron leans herself and Tabris up against the wall where she and he can help and watch Clarissa.
Vin_Da_DM: As the vortex closes Ettik�s lights return to brightness and Fern feels the pain leave completely.
Luna_Faline stands in the door with a tear running down my cheek, �Goddess, I hope so.�
Fern: �Ooooooh,� she sighs.
Fern: �It is gone.� Looks at Clarissa, �Are you okay?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks around, �Is it over?�
Clarissa slumps down on the floor as her hands slide down Ettik�s wall.
Luna_Faline closes my eyes and takes a deep breath, wipes the tears away with the back of my paw then turns to the group in the hall. I place a healing paw on each one in turn. Then slide to the floor myself.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight barks then starts to lick Clarissa�s cheek as she slumps onto the floor.
Fern looks at Stryder intently, �You must help her, she has been opened to all that is within her deepest self.�
Vin_Da_DM: Whimpering Midnight sits back and looks around, settling his gaze on Claron and Tabris for a moment.
Fern looks at Midnight and then at Claron and Tabris.
Clarissa looks over towards Fern, her cheeks wet with tears��You made me hurt!�
Fern: �Now is the time for you to start the process you have been waiting for,� looks back at Clarissa.
Tabris looks at Claron, then leans down to pick up Clarissa.
Luna_Faline watches Midnight wondering�
Fern: �T�was not I who made you hurt.�
Claron looks at Midnight, a smile crosses her lips as she whispers to Tabris, �Did you hear that?�
Tabris: �I think you need some rest, sweetie.� Tabris looks at Clarissa as he hoists in her into his arms.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight turns his attention to Fern as he stands and wags his tail at her.
Clarissa starts to struggle, but then relaxes in Tabris� arms as her head comes to rest on his shoulder.
Fern drops to her haunches and smiles at Midnight.
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan rubs his chins for a moment, �I guess that will teach me to practice somewhere else with no heavy boxes to crash into.�
Claron approaches Midnight reaches her hand down to rest on his head, �Friend��
Tabris turns and heads off towards his quarters with Clarissa. Stryder watches him and follows behind the two silently.
Luna_Faline stands up and walks away from the group. Back to my room to, I enter and lay on the bed staring at the shadows in the corners.
Fern frowns at Midnight in concentration, then smiles up at Claron, �Yes.�
Vin_Da_DM: From the shadows Luna swears she can hear faint whispers, �I must face my demons...forgive me for leaving��
Claron looks back at Fern, �My daughter�she was helping you?�
Fern looks at Claron and smiles, �She was helping Ettik. She had to dig deep.�
Luna_Faline purrs softly, �I love you, too.� Begins praying to Selenia for his safe return.
Fern sighs and looks towards the room with him inside. Then looking back at Claron she says, �She was opened wide to all that was in her deepest, darkest self and she has seen it all.�
Claron starts shaking her head, �I am surprised. Her helping hasn�t been part of her normal nature.�
Claron: �What do you mean, seen it all?�
Fern shrugs, � I know not, I just know she helped.�
Fern: �Herself was laid bare to her eyes and there are no veils when that happens,� shrugs not understanding it fully herself but trying to.
Clarissa looks up at Tabris with great sadness in her eyes, �It hurt...worse than anything I have ever felt before��
Tabris nods as he carries Clarissa, �Perhaps if you tell me about it, I can help lessen the pain.�
Fern: �I don�t know�just go to her.� Fern smiles and skips off down the corridor.
Vin_Da_DM: As another day passes by for the Warriors, things have been discovered and lost. Eclipse has vanished to deal with a shadow in his past, while Clarissa begins to learn the truth, and a task requested by a friend awaits the Warriors...
