Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: As the group set out on their journey to find allies for the coming battles their newest member Fern began to explore the ship. Feeling an unexplainable pull to one of Ettik�s room Fern found a small garden.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile a distress beacon was picked up on Ettik�s com channels and while the group debated investigating or not Ettik jumped to the ship by itself. The ship was slightly larger than Ettik but adrift in space.
Vin_Da_DM: Discovering the ship was the ES Icarus the group decided to board and look around. Soon after arriving they learned that something dark and mysterious happened onboard, with some black creature the only living thing seen.
Vin_Da_DM: The crew split up to go different ways; Claron and Stryder investigating the ship�s vents. Tabris and Clarissa jumped into a mysterious hole in the galley and Eclipse, Shinta, Clarice, Tewyn and Luna going a third way choosing to have Eclipse shadow-walk them.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse and the others end up in a large room that looks completely melted. Luna instantly notices the unknown odor is strong here. Several scraping sounds echo in the room and draw closer�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Tewyn: �Man, that smells worse than me after a buffet of pickled eel worms.�
Clarice hears the scraping sound and looks around to see if she can figure where and what is making it.
Vin_Da_DM: In the ever-faint lighting of the room Eclipse and others can see shapes moving around them, with the scraping sounds coming from them.
^Lilly^ stretching and yawning, looks around, �Wow�I kind of dozed off I guess,� getting up I walk out of the room and wander the ship...first heading to the galley. �Hello....anyone here?�
^Shinta: �That can not be good.�
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile onboard the Ettik in the med bay Katie stirs from her sleep.
Luna_Faline spins around looking for the sound, as I cover my nose with my paw.
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly finds the galley empty, but notices the large ship that the Ettik is docked with out the windows.
Tewyn: �Well, do we wait for them...or just go see what�s going on?...Either way we are gonna fight.�
Kat|e turns her head and her lashes flutter, and she slowly begins to focus on the far wall.
^Lilly^: Sighing as I enter the galley and slouching in a chair, watching the ship. �Hmm. guess they went over. Might as well see if anyone else is here.
^Shinta: �It wouldn�t be wise to just stand here.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Organics...disturbing how more of you show up. You are not of this ship�� A voice sounds from the mass of shadows as seven blue lights bunched together light up.
Kat|e stretches, and slides to the floor, wobbling a bit, before steadying. �Ettik? Where is the bulk of my crew located currently?� She yawns and stretches again.
Vin_Da_DM: �So, you�re not dead after all�� Katie hears a soft voice speaking from the doorway.
Kat|e jumps and looks up.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie sees the source of the voice is a humanoid panda, he tilts his head at her, �I do not believe we�ve met. I�m Kuan.�
Tewyn looks around, �Well, you know we organics are stubborn creatures.�
Vin_Da_DM: �And so easily disposed of,� The voice continues as a mutilated human corpse in a flight suit is tossed toward your feet.
Kat|e nods toward the new arrival. �I remember seeing you before I blacked out again. I�m Katerina. But I�m sure you already know that.�
Tewyn: �Well, not all of us are soooo easy, come try that with me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan nods and looks back out in the hallway, �The others have gone to investigate the ship who�s distress signal we received.�
^Lilly^: Arriving outside the med bay I gaze in. �Where the heck is everyone...and how long have I been out?�
Luna_Faline flex�s my claws hoping they still work.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse glances around the room, narrows his gaze as he looks, �Quite a lot of them��
Clarice jumps back as the mutilated corpse lands...�Well, fuck me running! Just who... what the hell are you?�
Luna_Faline whispers, �I noticed.�
Kat|e feels the hairs at the back of her neck stand up. �Oh, lord. I slept thru another adventure,� she looks over at Lilly. �Hey,� she smiles.
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere on the ship...Stryder turns a corner in the vent ahead, �Man, it�s dark in here...I can�t see a thing, Mom.�
^Lilly^: Smiling she enters, �So, what the heck is going on?�
^Shinta: �Do we take our stand here?�
Claron reaches her hand out to try and touch Stryder, �Neither can I.�
Luna_Faline: �Do we have a choice?�
^Shinta: �Probably not.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Drifting ship, distress signal, investigating. You�re welcome to join them,� Kuan motions down the hallway.
Luna_Faline thinks to myself, �I knew it��
Kat|e nods, �Shall we go see what trouble we can find?� She smiles weakly at Lilly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Your choice is to flee, or die,� The blue-lights and their voice speak up, as near a hundred red energy cannons begin to power up around the group.
^Lilly^ shrugging, �I don�t see why not. Don�t see any reason to stay on the ship��
Clarissa screams loudly, ~Stryder!~ and tries kicking while Tabris and she are falling in the hole.
Kat|e: �Let�s hop, then.� She heads for the door. �Pleasure to meet you, Kuan.�
Tabris and Clarissa crash into a half-flooded room. Letting go of Clarissa, Tabris coughs a bit and looks around, �Well...I didn�t think ships had indoor pools.�
Tewyn looks around, �Hundred or so to four...odds still in our favor, silly.�
Vin_Da_DM: �We shall see...organic.� The beams open fire and cut the floor from under the group, causing you to crash down into the cargo bay below.
Clarice looks at the red energy cannons powering up...�What the hell?��
Kat|e hurries to join the others on the ship, worrying inside as to what they�ve found.
Tewyn: �Damn rude hosts, they are!�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie is stopped at the other side of the hatch by the massive mechanical arm of the Guardian, he turns his head and �blinks�. �I would not rush into this vessel off your guard.�
^Lilly^ glances back and smiles faintly at Kuan before running to catch up with Katie.
Luna_Faline lands on my feet in a huff, �Fuck this ship, let�s get out of here and blow it up.�
Kat|e nods, taking a deep breath and centering herself, before stepping forward, alert.
Clarissa: �What you go and do that for?....You trying to kill me?� moving quickly away from Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: Straddled across two cargo boxes Eclipse looks up, �First I suggest moving...quickly.�
Luna_Faline looks around for someplace to go.
^Lilly^: Grabbing Katie�s arm, �Are you sure we should?�
Clarice feels herself falling and lands hard on her ass.
Kat|e blinks, �Do you want to stay here and wonder?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse rolls out of the way as several large pieces of hull come crashing down into the cargo bay.
^Lilly^: �No, not really...but how do we know they aren�t already on their way out?�
Luna_Faline jumps out of the way of the ceiling falling with a growl.
Vin_Da_DM: �If you go, be careful. I will secure the hatch to ensure a safe escape route.� The Guardian nods to Katie.
^Shinta rolls out of the way.
Kat|e: �Well, if they are, we�ll meet them and they can fill us in on what they found.� She strides away, still tuned in to the sights and noises around her.
Kat|e nods to the Guardian.
Tewyn moves out of the way. �I don�t think they like us.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I think I see something up ahead, Mom..� Stryder continues to shuffle through the vent, �Just a few more...ahhh!� Stryder slides down the broken vent, landing on the floor of another hallway with a small thud.
^Lilly^ sighs before following Katie off the ship, gripping a set of her daggers.
Clarice gets up rubbing her ass, her eyes glancing around the room.
Luna_Faline looks for an escape route.
Kat|e wrinkles her nose, �Smells like a graveyard landfill in here. Ewwwgh.�
Tabris: �Well. come on, missy,� Tabris trudges through the waist deep water looking around, �Looks like a water valve broke...man. I�m guessing the water didn�t start out that red.�
^Lilly^ staying close to Katie, she moves one of her hands off of a dagger to cover her mouth and nose. �NO kidding, that smells horrible��
Vin_Da_DM: The cargo bay is fairly featureless, save the large hole in the ceiling through which several laser shots continue to fire, and a jammed open set of doors leading into a hallway with sparking lights.
Claron continues to follow Stryder and slides down the broken vent behind him but manipulates her own gravity landing softly on her feet.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder sits up, rubbing his head. �Ow...good thing I landed on something soft...oh, god.� Stryder looks down slowly.
Luna_Faline motions to the group, �Over there.� and heads toward the door.
Kat|e glances around, �Hmm. Now which way would I go if I was a rag-tag bunch of misfits out to save our world?�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie and Lilly are in the main airlock room. One door is held open by a trashcan, the other jammed open. The other two are smoking and shut.
Tewyn: �Oh, yea. Go towards the sparkly lights��
^Lilly^ giggles at the description of the group.
Luna_Faline: �Would you rather go up there?� as I look thru the door.
Clarissa screws up her face, �I don�t wanna be here. Look what you have gone and done! Put me into bloody water!� Forces herself to follow Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �They split up and went both ways,� the Guardian adds to Katie and Lilly as he watches them, his large spear gripped tightly.
Kat|e smiles tightly, then says, �Well, what do you think, lass? The lady or the lion?�
Kat|e swallows, �Oh, hell. They WOULD.�
^Lilly^ jumps at the Guardian�s voice, �Gosh, darn you,� glaring.
Claron looks to see what Stryder landed on.
Kat|e points to the jammed door and raises a questioning elegant black brow at Lilly.
Clarice looks over at Tewyn.
^Lilly^ shrugs,� I think I�d take the trashcan one...but truthfully does it matter?�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron notices a set of two bodies as Stryder quickly gets off them and covers his mouth.
^Shinta: �Seems we have no other choice.�
Kat|e: �The can it is, then.� She takes a deep breath.
Tewyn looks back to Clarice, �Well, you heard them�move that bruised ass of yours.�
Luna_Faline climbs thru the jammed door carefully.
Claron notices the bodies, �I am beginning to think we Warriors are the only living things aboard this ship.�
Vin_Da_DM: The hallway branching off the cargo bay looks less-melted than the previous room above, lights sparking causing the hallway to light up blue with the flashes.
Kat|e squeezes through the door, her senses tingling.
^Lilly^ following Katie through the door, �God, it smells horrible down here.�
Luna_Faline: �Which way?�
Vin_Da_DM: �There it is again!� Stryder points as the black creature disappears down a side hallway nearby.
Clarice groans as she starts to follow the others...
Kat|e: �You ain�t kiddin, girlfriend. Good thing I�m not a squeamish girl anymore.�
Vin_Da_DM: The trashcan finally gives way as the door crushes it in two behind Lilly with a *crush!*.
^Shinta follows behind the others.
Kat|e: �Oh, balls.�
Kat|e: �Guess our course is set, now, huh?� She grimaces and trudges forward.
Claron catches a glimpse of the shadow out of the corner of her eye, �Hurry, follow it!� while moving off in the direction of the shadow...
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse glances ahead, avoiding the sparking wires, �I have no idea...we have to find a way back to the ship.�
^Lilly^ turning to the sound, �Oh, god...as if.��
Vin_Da_DM: The hallway in front of Katie and Lilly forks at a T.
Luna_Faline: �In a hurry, I think,� whispering as I watch the shadows in the hall.
Kat|e turns, �Left?� she asks.
^Lilly^ shrugs and then nods.
Kat|e turns left and grits her teeth, foreboding flooding her.
Tewyn: �Well, lets do something...I�m sure Mr. Blue Eyes is waiting for us somewhere.�
Clarissa wonders why it appears Stryder didn�t hear her scream... ~Stryder? ~
Vin_Da_DM: �Skitter, scutter, running around the halls like the little ants you are,� The voice sounds over the entire ship�s com, �Do you not think I can see you? That I know what you�re up to?�
Kat|e jumps. �Jayzus!�
Luna_Faline looks up around the hall for cameras or sensors.
^Lilly^ runs into Katie, �Damn it.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Sis? What the hell is going on...gotta go, Mom�s on the move!~ Stryder runs after Claron.
Claron startles, �Who are you, what do you want?� shouts out.
Kat|e breaks into a sprint.
Vin_Da_DM: From the mess the hallway is in, if there are sensors or cameras they don�t look like them anymore to Luna.
Clarissa: ~I don�t know and I am scared, wet�~
Tewyn: �I�m tired of these damn peeping toms!�
Luna_Faline leans in close to Eclipse whispers in his ear, �Can we get in another shadow?�
^Lilly^ yelling after Katie, �Damn you...wait up.� Runs after her trying to catch up again.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie dead ends into a room with overturn tables and chairs. A nasty pile of red goo is sitting in the middle of the floor.
Clarice: �I�m tired of cowards that can�t show themselves!�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure I want to do that again...the first time didn�t end up so well,� Eclipse whispers back to Luna.
Kat|e: �Eww. Why do I always end up in muck?� she grumbles. �Well, I guess we backtrack and go the other way, then. Damn, I�m tired of this place, already.�
^Lilly^ runs into Katie, seeing the goo as she falls down behind her. �Eww, gross! What the hell is that? Okay, I really don�t like this ship...We need to find the others and get out of here��
^Shinta: �Well, we must do something.�
Luna_Faline: �What if they can�t find us in the shadows? I don�t see how it can get worse than this,� I whisper back.
Vin_Da_DM: Ahead down the hallway Clarice notices a monitor buzz and light up, static-filled it shows a picture of an armored figure, the same blue lights from before watching her, �Cowards? Cowards are the ones who ran and hid while I crept from room to room, showing the organics their weaknesses.�
Kat|e helps Lilly to her feet and heads back the way she came, to go down the other hall.
Tabris: �Looks like there�s a ramp ahead...it�ll get us out of this mess.� Tabris points ahead down the hallway as he and Clarissa walk.
^Lilly^: �Thanks,� mumbling as she turns and follows back into the other direction.�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron hears a rustling noise as she sees the figure duck behind a bed sheet taped across a vent cover.
Tewyn: �Oh, great! Another tin can.�
Clarice: �Tewyn�� pointing a finger towards the monitor, �Look!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Amuse yourself while you yet live, this is but a human made shell. My greatness is spread throughout this vessel and soon I shall spread further!� The monitor explodes and Luna hears numerous loud crashes in the cargo bay.
Claron lightens her gravity and follows quickly after the shadow ducking under the bed sheet.
Tewyn: �I see it�Just another stupid damn can.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Mom, hold up!� Stryder dashes after Claron.
Luna_Faline looks over my shoulder at the cargo bay, �We need to go, they�re coming.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I heard that�� Eclipse looks ahead down the hallway, �Looks like it forks again...what is it with ships and intersections?�
Clarice moves closer to Tewyn.
Tewyn: �I�m getting tired of running...seems we are getting no where...and you heard that thing earlier.�
Clarissa moves quietly, shivering alongside of Tabris.
Tabris wraps his arm around Clarissa trying to warm her up, �There now...can�t have you getting a cold.�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie and Lilly end up in the other hallway this time. A majority of the doorways are closed but several are open up ahead.
Kat|e: �Oh, fer the love of Pete. More multiple choice.�
Clarissa shivers some more, �I am not cold!� dodging out quickly from Tabris� arm.
^Lilly^: Peering down a few of the doors and sighing, �They all appear to be the same.�
Tabris: �Then why are you shivering?� Tabris looks at her as they reach the top of the ramp.
Kat|e: �More or less. I�m taking the one to the far left.� She strides ahead, sighing as she goes.
^Lilly^ looking down a few more doors before deciding to follow Katie still...knowing sticking together would be a much better decision.
Vin_Da_DM: The cargo bay fills with clanking noises that are approaching, a stray laser shot hits a lighting panel causing more sparks to fly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Company again. I think they like us,� Eclipse turns clenching a fist.
Luna_Faline: �I don�t think I want to share my company with them,� growling.
Clarissa looks back at Tabris trying to stop the shivers, her eyes showing him that she�s not as brave as she would like to make others think.
Clarice turns quickly trying to see where the laser fire came from.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron and Stryder crawl through a short vent into a room lit by a small burning cup of something. Claron hears rustling and low noises from the other side of a metal table on it�s side.
Luna_Faline: �Let�s get moving, I don�t want any of them pulling a squeeze play on us.�
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice notices a large group of metal things coming from the cargo bay. They appear to be thrown together pieces of machinery with laser cannons.
Claron follows the sound of the rustling noise, makes her way cautiously over to the metal table��What have we here?� says in a soft calming tone.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron sees a medium sized black dog sitting near an injured alien, both of whom look toward her. The dog stands and growls at Claron.
Clarice looks at the thrown together metal, �Looks like someone tried being creative.�
Luna_Faline moves away from the cargo door carefully avoiding the sparklers.
Vin_Da_DM: �That sounds like...a dog!� Stryder walks up behind Claron and looks, �And a guy��
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows Luna as she heads down the hall.
Claron: �Ea--sy, ea--sy...I am not going to hurt you,� holding her hand out with the palm up, in a non threatening manner. �Besides, your friend looks like they could use some help.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Ssssh...calm, Midnight,� The alien�s voice is soft and soothing and the dog sits again, looking at him then back at Claron and Stryder. �Who are you? How did...*cough*..you get here?�
Tabris turns a corner and pauses, �Hmm...any suggestions on where we should go?� He looks at Clarissa.
Claron softly calls out, �Midnight,� then looks at Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, we picked up the distress signal and we came to check it out..� Stryder looks at the alien.
Luna_Faline: �Do you have any sense of direction on this tub of evil?� I ask Eclipse.
Claron: �We received a distress call. What the hell happened here?� moving closer to the alien trying to determine the extent of his injuries.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not directly no...I�d have to check the shadows again to even find out.� Eclipse watches Luna, continuing to look back.
Claron smiles at Stryder as they both ask the same question.
^Lilly^: Loosing sight of Katie, �KATIEEEE!!!!�
Vin_Da_DM: Lilly hears several sets of metallic skitters behind her.
Clarice watches the thrown together things then looks around at the group, her eyes resting on Tewyn.
Luna_Faline looks back at the rest of the group, �Are you coming with us? Or going to stay in the hall and be target practice?�
Vin_Da_DM: �The ship�s computer...*cough*...something about this system�s sun,� The alien shifts trying to prop himself more upright and ends up coughing more, �Started killing the crew...*cough*...followed Midnight into the vents.�
Vin_Da_DM: The makeshift robots loose a few more laser shots more accurate than before. The shots burn into the floor and walls near Clarice.
Tewyn shrugs, �Its one ugly thing.�
Claron kneels down next to the alien, laying a hand gently on his shoulder, �If you will let me, I can help get you off this ship.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes...*cough*...forgive me. I am Dr. Gnomon,� Gnomon lifts one his hands toward Claron, �If you could...*cough* help me up.�
Clarice jerks, then sends a frozen ice spear into the shaft of the laser gun.
Claron taking Dr. Gnomon�s hand helps him up, �I am Claron DuVallis, and this is my son, Stryder.�
Vin_Da_DM: The ice spear quickly melts from the heated barrel of the robot. They continue to pour into the hallway randomly firing towards the group.
Luna_Faline runs down the hall again calling back, �I don�t heal stupidity,� with a growl.
Vin_Da_DM: �I see�� Gnomon looks down at Midnight, �Come on, *cough* we�re going with them.� Gnomon eyes Claron and Stryder, �There is a door *cough* behind that crate.� He points a three fingered hand at a large crate.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder nods and walks near the crate, giving it a look over before shoving it out of the way slowly.
Clarice: �Got any ideas?� she asks while they continue to shoot sporadically at the Warriors.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse pauses beside Luna, �One moment,� He dives into a shadowy part of the hallway with a small ripple.
Claron helps the alien move gently by manipulating their gravity and follows Stryder.
Luna_Faline waits for Eclipse keeping an eye on both sides of the hallway.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse slides out of the shadows onto the ceiling, looking down at Luna, �Left, straight past a set of doors and down a tight corridor,� Eclipse�s tail motions at Luna for the right corridor.
Luna_Faline nods, �Come on you guys, this way,� to Clarice, Tewyn and Shinta. I go the way Eclipse tells me.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie and Lilly continue to hear skittering metal in the hallway around them.
Clarice reaches a hand out toward Tewyn... �Shall we figure out a way out of here or stand here and wait for them to burn holes through us?�
Kat|e shivers and picks up speed again.
Tewyn: �Guess we should go.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at the others, �All right, let�s get going.� Crawling along the ceiling he heads down the left corridor.
Kat|e: �This place is really creeping me out.�
Clarice slides her hand into Tewyn�s and pulls him in the direction Luna points to.
Vin_Da_DM: Back down the hallway from the airlock room, Katie and Lilly can hear faint sounds of combat.
Clarissa looks at Tabris, �Fine mess you got us into!�
Kat|e stops, cocks an ear, and her eyes widen. �Either we�ve found them, or we�re about to stumble into something mean.�
Luna_Faline keeps an eye on Eclipse as I move down the hall......
Vin_Da_DM: As Luna and the others head down the hallway it changes slightly, but Eclipse continues to crawl along the ceiling.
Tabris continues down the hallway until they reach a dead end with a smoking door, �Hmm...that looks familiar.�
Kat|e follows the sounds of battle.
Clarissa walks behind Tabris, �Something smells burnt.�
Vin_Da_DM: The sounds lead Katie back to the door she entered from, upper half of the trashcan sitting on the floor nearby.
Kat|e: �Bollocks.�
Tabris: �Hear that?� Tabris looks at Clarissa, �Sounds like something�s going on behind this door.�
Clarissa listens carefully.
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon looks at Claron and Stryder as they leave the small room and enter a dimly lit corridor, �Your ship is *cough* docked at the main hatch?�
Kat|e narrows her eyes, focusing on the door, trying to bend it back in part so that she can slip back through.
Claron looks at Stryder, �Yes, I believe so��
Vin_Da_DM: The door moans to Katie but peels back slowly like a can opener, from the crack a laser bolt flies through and sinks into the ceiling. The sounds are louder now as Katie begins to get a view.
Kat|e: �Ouch! Ye bloody bastards! Ye sure know how to make a girl feel welcome!�
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian rolls across the airlock room floor, slicing one of the robots in half with his spear. He notices Katie for a moment before being shot at again, most of the lasers absorbing into his armor.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse pauses for a moment, �This way, quickly.� Eclipse drops to the floor and disappears into a single-person wide corridor.
Luna_Faline follows him quickly thru the small hallway.
Kat|e hops through the opening, diving into a roll, and coming up crouched.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight sniffs the air as Claron, Gnomon and Stryder continue down the hall. Gnomon coughs again, �Turn here...should lead to the hatch room.�
Clarice and Tewyn continue to follow the others.
Claron nods her head turning in the direction Dr. Gnomon indicates.
Vin_Da_DM: �Nice of you to join me,� Guardian shouts out to Katie as his spear transforms into a large axe as he swings, de-limbing one of the makeshift robots.
Tabris: �Clarissa...back up, sweetie,� Tabris stands in front of the door.
Kat|e peels a section of door into a makeshift lance/staff, sweat beading on her brow from the effort, �Always happy to crash a party,� she grunts.
Clarissa backs up quickly, then stands smirking at him.
Tabris raises both his hands to the door, �Now then�� rubbing his hands together he covers them with a thick spiky layer of obsidian and punches into the door. With a low grunt he pulls back ripping out a sizeable hole in the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse slides out from the small corridor ahead of Luna and looks around, �It should be right...there, yes.� Eclipse points towards a set of double doors.
Clarice: �I don�t think Eclipse knows where the fuck he is going,� looking over at Tewyn.
Luna_Faline looks at the doors, �Are you sure?� Unsure of the situation, feeling decidedly uneasy.
Vin_Da_DM: Several of the robots turn their attention to Katie and begin firing at her.
Kat|e magnetizes her makeshift weapon and swings it into the nearest bot. �Take that, ye ruddy bastard!�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie�s hit connects with the bot, causing part of it to stick to the weapon.
Vin_Da_DM: �That or try our luck with the walking piles of metal,� Eclipse watches Luna and waits for the others.
Kat|e grins, �OOOO, pop can on a stick!� She reverses the magnetic flow, sending the bot flying.
Clarissa watches Tabris as he rips a hole into the door, then quickly runs up behind him. �You did it!� with an amazed sound in her voice.
Luna_Faline sniffs the air lightly as we wait for the group to catch up.
Vin_Da_DM: The upper �half� of the bot sails across the room, into another one knocking it over. The Guardian continues to slice away at the bots surrounding him.
Clarice and Tewyn catch up to Luna. Turning, Clarice looks back behind her to see if the quiet ^Shinta is behind them.
Kat|e blows a quick raspberry and dodges a few laser blasts, feeling one sear across her jaw line, �Ow, damn it.� She stabs her sharp weapon at another bot.
Tabris: �Like a knife through some very solid butter�� Tabris discards the door and steps through the hole, glancing around, �Well...we�ve seen this before,� as he eyes the overturned tables.
^Shinta is walking slowly behind giving a nod to Clarice.
Clarice smiles as she sees Shinta.
Vin_Da_DM: The bot in front of Katie jolts back from the stab, only to be rocked the other direction as the Guardian�s weapon pierces through another robot into it�s �back�.
Luna_Faline: �Alright, let�s get going,� looking at Eclipse.
Clarissa peeks in thru the hole, �We seem to have gone in a circle.�
Tabris: �A wet and messy circle...who designed this ship anyway?� Tabris sighs and steps over the goo pile and looks back at Clarissa. �Better hurry, I think I hear a tussle.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods and heads over to the double doors, forcing them open he looks up then down, �Elevator shaft...looks like there�s a ladder on the side.�
Luna_Faline: �Up?�
Clarissa looks at Tabris then dashes through the opening and makes her way around the goo on the floor again , �Hurry up yourself, OLD man!�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shrugs, �Seems to be more floors up then down.�
Luna_Faline: �Or down?� looking both ways in the shaft.
Vin_Da_DM: �I think�� Eclipse pushes Luna back as the elevator car flies past, crashing down into the bottom of the shaft, �That down may not safe.�
Luna_Faline: �Up it is then,� sighs and jumps into the shaft catching a rung of the ladder and settling on it.
Tabris: �Yea, yea...just hope this old man doesn�t ground you, missy!� Tabris heads over Clarissa.
Vin_Da_DM: Pulling his weapon back the Guardian looks around at the piles of sparking machinery, some of them still twitching, �I believe that�s all of the whole ones��
Clarice watches Luna jump onto the ladder, then glances at Tewyn before she enters the shaft and grabs hold of one of the rungs of the ladder.
Kat|e wipes her brow and mutters, �Gads, I miss my guns,� then nods to the Guardian.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse hops into the shaft, crawling along the wall next to the ladder as they go up.
Luna_Faline begins climbing up watching for that elevator car to come back up.
Clarissa shakes her head from side to side, �Yea, yea,� mimicking the sound of Tabris� voice.
Vin_Da_DM: �Here...let me see that panel,� Gnomon says to Claron as they approach a door closed tightly.
Claron stops with Gnomon at the panel.
Tewyn follows behind the others.
Kat|e: �Wonder how many more soup cans there are waiting to pour out and play with us�� she ponders softly.
Clarice foot slips as she climbs the ladder .
Vin_Da_DM: �Going somewhere?� The voice from before sounds in the elevator shaft, �Very well...I grow tired of this chase,� High above in the elevator shaft the walls begins to spark with a wave of electricity that slowly heads downward.
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon manages to open the panel, crossing a few of the wires the panel buzzes.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder watches Gnomon and his mother, �I hope that�s a good sound.�
Luna_Faline: �Oh, hell no,� looks for another open door.
Clarice feels a tingle from the wave of electricity and stops dead in her tracks.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...so much for this idea,� Eclipse curses under his breath as he pauses on a set of doubles doors of another floor, �I hope we like door number two��
Claron nods her head at Stryder.
Kat|e reaches up to touch her seared jaw line and frowns, �Imma be the ugliest mother by the time I hit 40, I swear.�
Vin_Da_DM: The door panels hisses and buzzes shortly before sliding open with a quick snap. Gnomon looks ahead at piles of robot debris just outside the door, �This...*cough* should be the hatch room.�
Clarissa finds herself walking in the hallway that they entered the galley in before.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie notices the fourth door in the room snap open, revealing Claron and Stryder with an alien and a black dog.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight rushes out between legs and into the hatch room, barking at a still moving �arm� of one of the robots.
Kat|e�s eyes widen, then she grins.
Claron helps Gnomon thru the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse manages to pry the doors open wide enough as he slides inside, holding it with an arm and his tail he looks at the others, �Come on.�
Luna_Faline jumps off the ladder thru the doors Eclipse opened rolling to my feet.
Claron�s eyes widen... �Katie!!�
Kat|e: �Bout bloody time. I was getting lonely.� She embraces Claron quickly, then eyes the newcomers.
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon coughs some then looks at Katie and the Guardian, �Curious...*cough* we should get onboard your ship.�
Kat|e: �Where the hell is everyone else?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian watches the dog as it bites the robot arm, causing it to go limp, then dropping it and looking at everyone.
Luna_Faline moves to help Eclipse hold the door open for the others, �Come on!�
Claron looks somewhat surprised as Katie hugs her, �This is Dr. Gnomon and Midnight.�
Tabris: �Over here, Hun,� Tabris replies as he eyes the peeled back door, �Must be your handy work, Kat��
Clarice starts to move towards Luna and makes her way off the ladder.
Tewyn goes thru the doors.
Kat|e: �Pleasure. You look like you could use some rest, friend. Let�s get you and yer wee puppy off this steaming pile of ship.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse hoists Shinta through the door and lets it close as you hear the massive thrum of the electrical wave fly down the elevator shaft.
Clarissa snorts, �I ain�t your HUN!� going thru the peeled back door.
Kat|e: �Tab!� Katie smiles warmly.
Vin_Da_DM: Gnomon nods to Katie, then looks at Claron, �You...*cough* have a med bay?�
Kat|e: �I see Princess Prickly is still in one piece.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Claron and the Dr. Gnomon, �I�ll get him there, Mom. You see to Dad and Sis, I�m sure she�s unhappy.�
Claron turns her head, a huge smile crossing her lips as she sees Tabris and Clarissa.
Claron nods to Stryder then moves over towards Tab and Clarissa with open arms, �Thank God, you both are all right!�
Luna_Faline lets go of the door just as the wave goes by. Looks at Eclipse, �Now what?�
Clarissa dodges quickly out of the way of Claron, �Don�t even think about it!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Welcome to my lair said the spider to the fly,� the voice of the robot from before sounds behind Luna and the others. �And here I was thinking your frail organic shells would burn to a crisp.�
Kat|e chuckles and smiles at Clarissa. �Glad to see you�re hale and hearty, lass. And you too, ya handsome devil,� she grins at Stryder.
Stryder shimmers with Gnomon to the Ettik�s Med Bay.
Clarice feels her temper flaring, �Wish someone would shut that voice off.�
^Shinta: �Seems we got herded.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight walks over to Clarissa, sniffing her boots then looking up at her.
Luna_Faline turns to find the source of the voice.
Kat|e: �Well, now where the blazes did the rest of them get to?� she ponders aloud.
Clarissa smiles and gently places a hand on Midnight�s head, �Nice doggie.�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices the real deal of the blue-eyed robot from before. Holding a large gun he studies the group, �Hmm...who shall go first? Perhaps the woman to spare her the pain of watching the rest of you die.�
Claron looks at Katie, �We broke off into groups, and I have no clue what happened to the others.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight looks up at Clarissa with a tilt of his head, he turns enjoying the hand...right before he pisses on her boot.
Kat|e bursts out laughing, then smothers it with a cough.
Clarissa: �Damn you,� shaking her foot.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight wags his short tail at Clarissa then wanders off into the Ettik.
Kat|e touches her jaw again, thoughtfully.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian shakes his head then looks around, �I wonder if we should look for the others��
Clarissa follows after Midnight.
Kat|e: �Was just thinking something similar.�
Luna_Faline flexes my claws throwing my cloak back over my shoulders, out of the way.
Tabris grins watching Clarissa leave, �Well, looks like we found someone just as pissy as our daughter is to keep her company.�
Kat|e giggles again, then sobers.
Kat|e: �We have to find them. They could have run into trouble.�
Clarice looks at the blue eyed robot, �Oh, you trying to say you have a tender spot somewhere in your hunk of metal?�
Vin_Da_DM: Switching his aim between the group the robot pauses, �You mistake my offer of a quick death for compassion, very well.� He charges up his gun and takes aim.
Kat|e thinks �Shinta, where ARE you guys. And why do I suddenly have this sick feeling in my gut?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t think you�ll be killing anyone,� Eclipse charges the robot and tackles him, the shot goes off as the two disappears into a rippling pool of shadow.
Clarice concentrates and tries to the freeze the damn robot solid before he shoots.
Luna_Faline: �Damn, where did they go? And where do we go?�
Clarice breaks her concentration as Eclipse rushes the robot.
Luna_Faline looks at Shinta, �Can�t your 3 friends help us out here?�
Clarice looks around, for anything that might give them a clue as how to get off this blasted ship.
Vin_Da_DM: �As I said, it was a mere shell. You cannot hope to defeat me!� The voice sounds from the coms as sections of the room begin to seal around Luna and the others.
^Shinta: �Yes, probably so.�
Luna_Faline: �We need to get out of here,� looking for a way out.
Vin_Da_DM: �I would not know where to begin the search,� the Guardian looks at Claron, Tabris and Katie.
Clarice smiles weakly at Tewyn, fearing that the worst is about to happen, then whispers� �I have always loved you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Over here!� Eclipse�s voice sounds from the same pool he disappeared into.
Luna_Faline looks over at the sound and runs to the pool jumping into it....
Claron looks at the Guardian, �They went that way,� pointing to the hallway the other group took.
Vin_Da_DM: As Claron points, Luna springs out of a dark spot on the ceiling landing in front of her.
Clarice holding Tewyn�s hand yanks them both in the direction of Eclipse�s voice.
Kat|e heads for the doorway, stopping short as Luna appears.
Kat|e: �That was handy.�
Luna_Faline lands in a crouch on my feet. �Thank the Goddess,� as I stand and move toward Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn and Clarice end up landing just behind Luna.
Kat|e waits and watches.
Claron: �Luna!! Thank, god!!� Looking behind Luna sees Clarice and Tewyn appear.
^Shinta jumps in behind the others.
Tabris raises a brow, �Man, that Eclipse comes in handy...where is he?�
Clarice turns around, �Shinta, were are you?� Holding her breath waiting for him to appear....
Vin_Da_DM: Shinta lands with the others, the dark spot on the ceiling ripples oddly several times.
Luna_Faline points at the ceiling, �Doesn�t he though, I�m glad he�s around.�
Luna_Faline: �Let�s get out of here before they follow us onto the Ettik,� moving toward the airlock.
Clarice relaxes as Shinta appears. �Can we get off this damn abomination of a ship?�
Kat|e lets out her breath, her eyes closing momentarily in a prayer of thanks.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian watches the others then speaks, �We should leave soon...these �things� are trying to rebuild themselves.�
Kat|e: �Don�t have to tell me twice�� she nods toward the Ettik.
Claron wastes no time and heads into the hatch with Tabris.
Luna_Faline pauses waiting for Eclipse, �Come on�� I beg softly.
Vin_Da_DM: With an audible thud Eclipse lands on the floor, several laser burns on his chest and limbs, blinking weakly he smiles lightly, �Finally got us somewhere useful��
Clarice and Tewyn follow behind the others.
Kat|e: �C�mon, Smudge,� she whispers, then smiles as he appears. She heads for the Ettik.
Luna_Faline reaches out to Eclipse, �Come on, let�s get out of here,� holding out my paw.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse takes Luna�s hand and gets up, �This is going to hurt in the morning��
Luna_Faline pulls him along gently, �Not if I can help at all.�
Kat|e grins and points to her jaw. �I hear ya, there.�
Vin_Da_DM: As you leave the ES Icarus the hatch closes forcibly. Ettik stays in place as you notice the Icarus powering up it�s engines.
Claron smiles happily at Tabris, �Tell me you sensed it too? That Katie acted like she might have finally recognized us.�
Kat|e staggers tiredly toward her room, still thankful that everyone got out alive.
Vin_Da_DM: The same voice echoes over Ettik�s com, �Consider yourselves lucky, organics. Nobody can stop me,� the voice cuts out as the ES Icarus jumps into hyperspace and disappears.
Luna_Faline: �Ettik? If you have any weapons you should use them now. Blow that ship up.�
Clarice stops dead in her tracks. �Please don�t let that mean he found a way on our ship.�
Kat|e changes her mind, and heads for the galley, suddenly ravenous.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice buzzes back on the coms, �It�s gone...completely. I�m getting us out of here.�
Kat|e: Hearing Alexei�s comment she mutters, �I�ll drink to that.�
Clarissa following the scent of Midnight, finds herself standing at the door of Med Bay, ~Glad you are safe, Brother.~
Luna_Faline: �I suggest a full scan of the ship to make sure that didn�t happen.�
Vin_Da_DM: �On it,� Alexei replies before the com turns off.
Luna_Faline looks over Eclipse, �Can I help you?� I purr holding up my paw in front of his scorched chest.
Kat|e touches her jaw gingerly, and grimaces again, before settling into a seat.
Vin_Da_DM: �We can find out,� Eclipse nods to Luna as he limps slightly down the hallway, �But not in the hallway.�
Claron: �Probably should check on our new passenger�� heading in the direction of Med Bay.
Luna_Faline grins a little and follows Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks up from tending to Dr. Gnomon at Clarissa with a serious look on his face. �Sis...get the others. This guy said something they might want to hear...it�s about someone called Gabe.�
