Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Landing in Aventine, the group was treated to yet another view of Selenia�s large marble castle. After leaving the Ettik they were met by Pyre and Byric, a pair of twin dragons, and were lead to the main gate.
Vin_Da_DM: At the main gate they came across the Aventine Dragon Defense Brigade, lead by Telepi and Marduc. Inquiring about the whereabouts of Selenia and the Guardian, the group was told to go to the castle.
Vin_Da_DM: At the castle�s main entry a spirited young dragon named Jakuzzi welcomed our heroes and let them inside. From there the Warriors went to the Council chambers, where Selenia�s War Council was meeting. Meeting the members they received their task from the Guardian.
Vin_Da_DM: As a new day dawns in Aventine and the Warriors prepare themselves for the tasks ahead of them. To find more troops, locate mysterious weapons, and track and kill a Knight who can resurrect it�s dark allies.
Vin_Da_DM: The castle stirs with the morning business. Armored troops outside can be heard distantly with the clang of each step.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: Perched on the edge of the balcony of his room Eclipse looks out over the city, trying to forget the past memories.
^Shinta looks over to Jakuzzi, �Wow, young one, I have spent all night listening to your stories, I hope I did not keep you from duties...but I enjoyed your company.�
Claron sits up on the edge of their bed after hearing all the clanging going on outside. Reaching over she shakes Tabris gently, �Wake up, sleepy head.�
Vin_Da_DM: Jakuzzi smiles at Shinta, �It was an honor to tell my stories to a Warrior!�
Tabris turns managing a soft cop of Claron�s bum before commenting groggily, �I�m up, I�m up.�
Tewyn stirs in bed.
Clarissa stirs in her bed not wanting to leave the comfort of it after having spent most of the night thinking about what ^Shinta said.
^Shinta: �Well, maybe one day you will be a Warrior beside me...We could use your enthusiastic spirit.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Come on, get up!� Stryder tosses the pillow from his bed at Clarissa.
Luna_Faline slowly unwinds my body from the tight circle of sleepy fur. I stretch one part at a time ending with my tail.
Tewyn: �Damn! Morning already.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Mayyyybe, but Uncle Marduc said to guard the gate and guard it I will!� Jakuzzi waves her spear in the air giggling lightly.
^Shinta: �Yes, it is important to stay to your duties, but I should go see what the others are up to.�
Clarice: �Surprised you could sleep through all that clamoring,� says to Tewyn as she sits on the edge of the bed brushing her hair.
Tewyn: �Huh...what clamoring?�
Luna_Faline rubs my face and smoothes my mane, then I reach for my boots and pull them on easily.
Vin_Da_DM: �O-kay! Don�t forget to get supplies, I heard the Guardian say that!� Jakuzzi salutes to Shinta then goes back to watching the courtyard, holding her spear tight.
^Shinta: �I will�take care, my friend.� Heads back to find the others.
Claron smiles as Tabris cops a feel, �Don�t think we have time, my love.�
Tabris: Slowly getting out of bed Tabris yawns, then slips on his clothing. �Well, must compliment them on the nice beds.�
Luna_Faline pulls the sai from under my pillow and studies it for a moment. The moon stone seems more opulent than before, and I feel a sense of peace from it. I slip it into the top of my boot.
Clarissa throws the pillow back at Stryder, �Five more minutes�� rolling back over.
Vin_Da_DM: �Morning,� Eclipse pokes his head over the balcony of Luna�s room before crawling over.
Vin_Da_DM: Shaking his head Stryder looks at her, �Don�t make me teleport you into a cold shower.�
Luna_Faline turns and smiles at Eclipse. �Morning,� I purr lightly.
Clarice: �With those sensitive ears you have�You don�t hear all the goings on outside?�
Luna_Faline tilts my head looking at Eclipse, �Did you get any rest?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Did you sleep all right?� Watching Luna Eclipse walks into her room and looks around.
Tewyn: �Don�t hear anymore than usual.�
Clarissa: �Jesummm, I�m up already,� jumping out of her bed.
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t rest very often.� Eclipse looks at Luna.
Luna_Faline blushes and fluffs my tail a little. �I slept very well after coming home, thank you�
Vin_Da_DM: �Haha, good. Can�t have you sleeping on the job, Sis.� Stryder opens the door into the hallway and looks around.
Luna_Faline: �I hope that you will be able to rest soon,� I sigh.
^Shinta roams thru the halls and finds his room again.
Tabris: �Maybe we should find some breakfast...any idea where we�d go for that?� Tabris looks over at Claron with a grin.
Clarice nods her head, �Guess I was hoping for little later start this morning...after last night.� Smiles, then leans in and kisses Tewyn softly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Perhaps...are you hungry? I believe I heard food being prepared in the kitchens� earlier.� Moving to the hallway door Eclipse looks questioningly over his shoulder.
Tewyn: �I�m sure there will be time to rest before we get to wherever we are heading.�
Luna_Faline sniffs and smells breakfast. �Now that you mention it, yes,� following Eclipse.
Claron giggles, �Worked up an appetite, did ya?� standing up beside the bed as she finishes dressing.
Tabris: �Well, you know me,� Tabris grin widens, �Wonder how the kids are doing?�
Luna_Faline looks around as we head down to table. �Where do you think we are to go from here?�
Clarissa walks up behind Stryder and pushes him out into the hallway.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shrugs as he looks around the dining hall, half filled with soldiers and servants. Neroosh and Raven are eating at a table by themselves in the rear.
Clarissa laughs as she shuts the door behind him and hops back into bed.
Tewyn gets out of bed and heads for the door� �Time to find some food.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers and appears standing on the bed over Clarissa, �You should know it�s not that easy.�
Clarice: �Could use a bite to eat...what about you? Water replenishment, maybe?�
Luna_Faline dwells on my thoughts of our next journey from the castle, as I follow Eclipse thru the hall.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian enters the hall as well, moving between tables talking to the soldiers before noticing Luna and Eclipse. �Well, good morning.�
Tewyn: �I think just some food will be more than enough.�
^Shinta noticing the others appearing in the hall and starts to follow behind them.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse finds an empty spot and sits, giving the Guardian a nod, �Morning.�
Luna_Faline shakes myself out of my thoughts at the sound of Guardian�s voice. �G�morning,� I bow my head and take a seat next to Eclipse.
Clarice nods, �Lead the way.�
Tewyn heads out thru the hall.
Claron: �That I do...guess not hearing any screaming from Clarissa�that things must be okay.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If your looking for supplies you can venture around the area just outside the castle. Anything you require will be paid for.� Guardian nods to Luna, morning light causing his metal to glisten softly.
Clarissa: �I was just having a bit if fun, dear Brother. Besides I�m starving.�
Clarice follows Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: �Then perhaps I should teleport us to the dining room?� Stryder hops off the bed and watches his sister.
Tabris: �For now, it�s hard to tell with her,� Tabris shrugs and opens the door for Claron.
Luna_Faline nods and smiles at Guardian.
Clarissa: �Oh, goodie! I just love shimmering with ya.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Just don�t hop off mid-transport this time,� Stryder eyes his sister then extends a hand.
Claron steps out into the hallway, �Its a start at the very least. Least I hope it is.�
Vin_Da_DM: As a pair of servants place several plates of breakfast-type food on the table the Guardian nods. �Now, if you�ll excuse me. I must make my rounds before we leave.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse eyes the plate with sausages in various styles with a raised brow.
Clarissa smiles slyly, �Now, why would I do that?� as she slides her hand into his.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian bows before stepping back, giving several glances to soldiers watching the exchange as he heads for the main castle hall.
Luna_Faline spears a meat patty with a claw and puts it on my plate with a giggle. �I have always loved it here.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder quietly shimmers along with Clarissa into the dining hall. A startled servant drops his tray and stares at them wide eyed as they appear directly in front of him.
Claron and Tabris enter the dining hall as Stryder and Clarissa shimmer in.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, um...excuse me�sir, ma�am.� The servant picks the tray up and scuttles past them into the kitchen.
Luna_Faline reaches for a pancake, but looks over my shoulder to see what the disturbance is.
Tewyn enters the dining hall looking over the spread, �Well, they go all out.�
Clarice walks in beside Tewyn, �OH, its been along time since I have seen this much food!�
Vin_Da_DM: �I always find something odd in the way food must be shaped in a certain way before being eaten,� Eclipse comments as he picks up a round sausage.
Clarissa looks at Luna.. �I didn�t do anything!�
Tewyn: �Yeah, they must think we eat like pigs.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head as my attention returns to the sausage plate. �Well, it is more appealing this way to most people. If they saw it the way it really is they wouldn�t eat it.�
^Shinta looks over the vast amounts of food and just grabs some fruit.
Vin_Da_DM: �Strange�� Eclipse bites off the edge of the sausage, giving it an odd look.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder takes a seat at the table with the others, begins to put food on his plate.
Clarice laughs, �Normally we don�t,� sliding into one of the empty chairs and filling her plate up with some of the different foods.
Luna_Faline watches Eclipse eat the link. Reaches over and wipes some juice off his chin softly with a finger.
Tewyn: �Yeah, seeing as we rarely eat much more than a snack for days at a time.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Warriors! For good luck on your mission,� Neroosh tosses a golden tinted amulet on the table near them, giving a short salute as he and Raven walk off.
Claron walks over to Clarissa placing her hand gently on her shoulder, �No one said you did.�
Luna_Faline picks it up and looks at it.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smiles lightly, then eyes the amulet as well.
^Shinta sits quietly eating his fruit looking over to the others.
Luna_Faline holds it up to look at it in the morning light.
Vin_Da_DM: The amulet is made of gold and is carved with several orcish words and figures. In the light it sparkles.
Clarissa jerks her shoulder out from underneath Claron�s hand, and just as quickly is seen at the far end of the table.
^Shinta looks over to Clarissa, �Still troubled are you, young one?�
Luna_Faline: �I can�t read this,� showing Eclipse the amulet.
Tabris sits across from Stryder as they both eat, exchanging half-mouth full jokes with each other.
Clarissa looks at Shinta as he speaks to her, �Not as long as they stay away from me!� Reaches over and grabs a ripe peach.
^Shinta shakes his head... �So alike, but yet so different.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s have a look�� Eclipse tilts the amulet around, getting a look at it�s markings. �Hmm��May the goddess...guide body and soul...in battle. Don�t understand the rest.�
Clarissa looks puzzled at Shinta.
Tewyn: �So has anyone heard where we are supposed to be going?�
Claron sits next to Tabris glancing down the length of the table observing Clarissa and Shinta as she nibbles at her plate of food.
Vin_Da_DM: �I believe that decision is ours to make. We have three forks in the road, simply pick one.� Kuan replies as he approaches the table, sharpening his katana with a grindstone as he sits.
Luna_Faline: �I hope it is good luck,� I purr softly as I slip the leather over my head and adjust the amulet.
^Shinta: �Don�t look so odd child�Do you not see it�Your ill-mannered temper is that of your mother�If one were to be looking for something they haven�t found yet...A common thread could be a start.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If you believe it will be good luck, then it is,� Eclipse watches Luna put it on.
^Shinta: �But then, what is it that I know�� shrugging his shoulders and heading back to grab some food from the other side of the table.
Tewyn: �Damn! Always choices, choices, choices��
Luna_Faline picks up the pitcher of fresh milk and pours a glass. �Would you like some?� I ask quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: �We can either start our search for aide, those weapons or the enemy,� Kuan looks at Tewyn, �I believe everybody should choose.�
Vin_Da_DM: �No thanks. I prefer water when it comes to liquids,� Eclipse eyes the milk in the pitcher oddly.
Tabris: �Well, I don�t care what we decide to do,� Tabris adds in to Kuan as he finishes off his pancakes.
Luna_Faline looks around at the group, �I don�t think we have to go looking for the enemy. They seem to find us with out our help.�
Clarissa continues to eye Shinta, �Common thread...what if?�� then changes her mind as she takes a big bite out of peach and causing juice to slide down her chin. Wiping it away with her sleeve she dashes over to stand behind Clarice. Leaning in she whispers, �It wasn�t your clone that tried to kill her, you know.� Just as quickly disappears and stands behind Stryder with a sly grin on her face.
^Shinta stands behind the others. �Well, I think we assemble our masses first�Sounds like we need all the support before grabbing for arms.�
Clarice face pales, �Wha...What decision?� trying to concentrate on the adult conversation.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder elbows Clarissa then turns his head ~I heard that.~
Luna_Faline studies Clarissa with a grim expression, not sure what she said, but knowing it must not have been nice.
Vin_Da_DM: �Searching for allies maybe useful, but these weapons intrigue me as well�� Eclipse pauses to think.
Tewyn eyes Clarissa, �Okay, lil girl, your parents may not be willing to spank your bratty ass, but you go causing tension in this group, you better pray you teleport your ass to a place I�ll never find you!�
Luna_Faline: �If we are going to gather more Warriors, we should keep an eye out for the weapons still.�
Vin_Da_DM: �She doesn�t teleport...she�s just fast.� Stryder comments to Tewyn.
Claron glances at Clarissa, �I am torn, but think maybe we should get the aide first.�
Clarissa: �Like to see you try.�
Luna_Faline: �Of course, the same could be said the other way. Go for the weapons but we may find allies as well.�
Tewyn grumbles, �Time out, my ass, damn humans should of kept the capital punishment.�
Luna_Faline draws a harsh breath and informs Tewyn, �Corporal punishment.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan shakes his head and looks over his katana, wiping if off with a cloth from the table.
Luna_Faline then sits back against my chair wondering how I remembered that.
Tewyn: �No, I had it right, she needs the capital kind��
Clarissa: ~Okay, okay....no need to say it, Stryder.~
Claron listens to Luna�s comment... �You got a point there, but couldn�t the reverse also be true?�
Luna_Faline raises a brow, �I think I said it both ways, but do you see a different way?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I do not think our goals are mutually exclusive. Perhaps searching for aide will find the enemy, or the weapons. What we will do first should be the choice.� Eclipse adds.
Claron: �Sorry, Luna_Faline. Got distracted.�
Luna_Faline: �I can understand that,� glancing at all her family around Claron.
Tabris: �Very distracted...these pancakes are pretty good,� Tabris smirks as he spears another with his fork.
Luna_Faline: �I�m just not sure how much more AIDE I can handle, seem to be more trouble than they may be worth.�
Luna_Faline remembers Shaiya and RD with a stomach turning shiver.
^Shinta: �It wasn�t said the aide had to come with us...but they could be sent out to stall the advancing Dark Army and buy us time to grab weapons and prepare more for the larger battle ahead.�
Vin_Da_DM: �The aide is not for us. In the end it is Selenia�s forces, the Legion who need the help,� Kuan chimes in as he sheaths his blade and stands, �When a decision is made, you can find me at the ship.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches as Kuan leaves, then looks around at the group.
Clarice: �I�m with Luna there, maybe getting the weapons first will allow us to get control over someone right here in our group. Might be harder to do if we have all the others with us.�
Claron: �Kuan is right maybe we should ensure Selenia�s safety first.�
Luna_Faline pushes my plate away and crosses my legs, the stone on the sai catches my eye, and I draw a slow deep breath. �Okay, so we go look for more troops then?�
Clarice looks at Tewyn, �What do you think?�
Tewyn: �We are going to need time...and any distractions or ways of stalling the Dark Forces are best...I say get the allies.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then we shall look for allies,� Eclipse nods and stands, �Now we should see about getting equipment to help us.�
Clarice nods her head.
Vin_Da_DM: �Works for me,� Stryder comments as he pushes his plate back.
Tewyn: �Yes, I am intrigued at what they have stored here.�
Luna_Faline stands as well, bows to the group and leaves silently heading to find sanctuary.
Luna_Faline enters a dimly lit room and kneels before a bank of candles I begin lighting them and chanting quietly for strength.
Claron stands slowly, and looks Clarissa dead in the eye. �I have had just about enough if your shit�� as she concentrates and sends her flying against the back wall. Then walks out of the dining hall without looking back.
Vin_Da_DM: With a decision made the Warriors now set out to arm themselves for the path they have chosen. What allies lie in wait to be found in the shadows ahead? Words of unknown weapons reach their ears, and dangerous foes lurking in the dark places.
