Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Still on their break from action by an ocean-side, the Warriors took some time to discover what new abilities they gained as a result of completing Mateus� challenges.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna discovered she could telekinetically control her sai. Though he did not gain any powers Eclipse�s abilities began to resurface for him. Shinta�s power enabled him to manifest spirits physically and Katie can magnetize objects with touch.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron began to get a hand on her ability to create gravity wells while Tabris learned his obsidian shards could now turn into lava upon impact. Clarice and Tewyn also tried exploring their powers but nothing happened for them, leaving them wondering.
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere the Guardian received a message from General Neroosh of the War Council with the simply message �It has begun.�
Vin_Da_DM: *Time Passed: 12 hours*
Vin_Da_DM: We rejoin the Warriors the following morning. As the sun peaks over the horizon its rays reflect off of Ettik�s hull, continually changing as Ettik�s organic plating moves slowly. Inside the Ettik lights and sounds come to life as if the ship itself was waking up.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Luna_Faline emits a soft contented purr, curled up around Eclipse, sleeping.
Tabris rolls over in bed reaching out with an arm for Claron but catching air as he falls off the bed onto the floor. With a groan and big sigh he grumbles��Fine wakeup call...did it again.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse tilts his head to the side on the pillow, resting his chin against the fur on her head. He gently rubs Luna�s shoulder with his hand.
Clarice snuggles in closer to the sleeping Tewyn.
Claron smiles softly as she leans over the edge of the bed and runs her fingers down along Tabris� back.
Kat|e snuggles deeper into her pillow with a groan, pulling her covers over her head �Fuck it. I�m not home. Stop calling.�
Tabris: Enjoying Claron�s touch for a moment Tabris gets off the floor and stretches. With a big yawn he looks out the window, �Morning already. Time flies��
Claron: �Did you forget which side of the bed I was on?� chuckling softly.
Vin_Da_DM: On the bridge the Guardian enters quietly through the double doors. Alexei glances at him from his periphery while working with holographic controls in front of him, �Morning...did you need something?�
Clarice whisper softly, �Tewyn,� only to see him roll over and let out a loud snoring sound.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian looks over at Alexei with a nod of his head, �We will be leaving later today once everyone is awake and my agent arrives from Aventine to inform them of the situation.�
Tabris: �Nah...just forgot which side of the bed I was on,� Tabris chuckles as he heads into the bathroom and washes his face in the sink.
Vin_Da_DM: Covering his yawn with his hand Eclipse uses his other to curl sections of Luna�s fur with his fingers as he brushes them down her arm.
Claron laughs as she gets out of bed and stats putting her clothes on.
Clarice slips quietly out of bed and dresses.
Luna_Faline purring changes slowly, rubbing my face against Eclipse�s chest.
Tabris grabs a towel from the rack and dries his face as he strolls into the main part of the room again. Tossing the towel on the bed he changes clothes.
Clarice kisses Tewyn�s cheek, then quietly slips out of the room and heads for the galley.
Claron turns to watch Tabris as he slips on his pants, then whistles softly.
Vin_Da_DM: As Clarice enters the galley Syne looks up from his spot near the window in his bear-like form where he had been curled up on the floor. �Morning...where�s your entourage?�
Tabris sports a smirk at Claron when she whistles then brushes some stray hairs from his face.
Kat|e growls and crawls out of bed, pulling on her clothing before braiding her hair and coiling it on her head. then she wanders off to get breakfast.
Vin_Da_DM: �Your purring is almost melodic,� Eclipse says softly to Luna, unsure if she was awake or not.
Clarice shrugs her shoulders, �Sleeping soundly,� blushes as she remembers their time alone last night.
Vin_Da_DM: �After what I�m guessing you did, along with every other couple onboard, I�d bet.� Syne says as he uncurls and stands up, moving over to the center counter to get something to eat.
Luna_Faline smiles slowly and whispurrs, �Shhhhhhh, it�s the closest thing to singing you�ll get from me.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then I�ll be silent and let you sing harmony for me,� Eclipse says with a smile as he goes silent and continues to listen to Luna�s purring.
Claron moves closer to Tabris, �You are looking mighty handsome this fine morning,� as she leans in and kisses him.
Kat|e: �And I was having SUCH a good dream, too,� she mutters as she makes he way to the galley.
Tabris: �Oh, but I�m handsome every morning!� Tabris says after the kiss. Giving a muscle flexing pose he chuckles, �And you�re beautiful every morning.�
Clarice smiles, then follows Syne to the replicator.
Luna_Faline giggles and hugs him tight, then rubs my eyes with my paws.
Luna_Faline mumbles, �Is it morning already?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, it�s light outside, so I would believe so,� Eclipse says as he carefully leans up and stretches his arms.
Kat|e enters, eyes still at half-mast and gets some coffee and fruit, then sits at the table, trying to wake up.
Claron smiles as she slides her hand into his. �Shall we wake Stryder and enjoy a family breakfast together?�
Luna_Faline cracking one eyelid open, moans as I stretch also. �How much longer do you think we�ll get to enjoy this break?�
Vin_Da_DM: Grabbing some fish with his mouth from the sink Syne nearly swallows them whole before plodding over to Katie. Blinking at her with his bear-like face he nods, �Morning. Looks like you need several cups of that stuff.� He motions to the coffee cup with his snout.
Clarice punches the appropriate buttons on the replicator for her western omelet, hash browns, toast and coffee, then takes her tray and sits down at the table.
Kat|e nods, �Yeah, I was up late thinking last night.�
Clarice smiles at Katie, �G�morning.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not much longer I guess,� Eclipse sighs as he slides off the bed and assembles the part of his armor and clothing scattered about the room.
Kat|e: �Mornin�, Clarice. Sleep well? Or�at all?� she smirks tiredly.
Tabris: �If he�s not already awake, sounds like a plan.� Tabris says with a grin as he squeezes her hand softly.
Clarice chuckles, �I indeed slept well, not certain about Tewyn though.�
Luna_Faline rolls over, grabs Eclipse�s pillow and hugs it under my head as I watch him moving around the room. �The only thing better than these last few days, would be if we had been at Aventine.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne sits down on the floor next to Katie and Clarice�s table, �If he�s still asleep, I�d say he�s enjoying it.�
Claron smiles as she and Tabris head for Stryder�s quarters.
Luna_Faline buries my face in his warm pillow, suddenly home sick. �I hope every thing is alright with Mistress,� in a muffled sigh.
Clarice blushes a crimson red and damn near chokes on her omelet at Syne�s comment.
Kat|e nearly spits her coffee all over herself, then laughs.
Vin_Da_DM: �I agree, but I would think Aventine would be a lot noisier what with all the troops,� Eclipse replies to Luna as he fastens together his armor then tugs on it to adjust it.
Claron knocks on Stryder�s door, then waits for a response.
Luna_Faline pushes up from the pillow, sitting in the middle of the bed, tangled up. �There aren�t always troops there, and besides the gardens seem to be pretty sound proof.�
Tabris looks at Claron after they get no reply for a moment, �Hmm�� Tabris reaches over and knocks on the door. A few moments pass then it opens showing them Stryder�s room in disarray and Stryder standing looking out his window.
Claron gasps as she sees the disarray in the room, �Stryder? Something troubling you?�
Tewyn wakes and heads toward the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m sure we�ll get to see the gardens and Aventine again,� Eclipse says to Luna watching her on the bed, �Just not sure when��
^Shinta looks around. �Well, she could of woke me,� heading out toward the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder glances over his shoulder at Claron and Tabris, then turns his attention to out the window again, �Nothing that can be fixed easily.��
Luna_Faline crawls across the bed, and reaches down for my boots. �And there could be a million troops, all noisy and chaotic, but I wouldn�t even notice if I was with you.�
Clarice�s eyes light up as she Tewyn enters the galley. �Good morning, thought you might sleep the morning away.�
Tewyn: �Sleep seems to be a precious commodity these days.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smiles at Luna, �I�m sure I could forget all the noise with you by
my side as well.�
Tabris looks at Stryder with concern, �Do you want to talk about it, son?�
Claron moves closer to Stryder and places a hand on his shoulder adding, �Maybe it might help if you talk to us about it, son.�
^Shinta walks up behind Kat|e and caresses her shoulders, �You could of woke me this morning.�
Luna_Faline looks under the bed and growls as one boot is just out of reach, grumbles, �Damn boot.�� stretching for it, wishing it would just come to me.
Vin_Da_DM: �You don�t want to hear about it...you�ll know when it happens. And it will happen�� Stryder says coldly with his gaze still fixed out at the sea.
Clarice smiles softly, �Guess several days of R&R was what we all needed.�
Vin_Da_DM: Watching Luna reach for her boot Eclipse gives the boot a nudge with his powers making it seem as if it just came to Luna.
Kat|e: �Well, I thought of stopping by your room to see if you were awake. I was just so hungry I decided to let you rest.�
Tewyn: �Yeah, guess so.�
^Shinta: �So you dumped me for your stomach, did you?�
Claron looks at Tabris, �We wouldn�t have asked if we didn�t want to hear about it, so� why don�t you tell us what it is that WILL happen.�
Kat|e laughs, �Y�know, women are fickle.�
Luna_Faline comes up with the lost boot smiling, as a low rumble comes from my tummy. �Hungry?� I ask him laughing.
Vin_Da_DM: �Clarissa will happen...and nobody will able to do anything about it except me!� Stryder turns quickly flinging his hand out angrily causing a box on his counter to explode into slivers as he shimmers away.
^Shinta: �Fickle wasn�t the word I was thinking,� going to grab some breakfast.
Tabris glances at the slivers lying on the floor and then sighs at Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not as hungry as you it seems,� Eclipse grins as he opens the door into the hallway and leans in the doorframe watching Luna.
Claron jumps at the sound of the box exploding, �I don�t like the sound of that��
Tabris: �I don�t like anything about what just happened�� Tabris says and he rubs his forehead.
Luna_Faline blushes as I stand up and move to the closet quickly to get my cloak. As I turn from the closet toward Eclipse I hold out my paw and look at my sai, which is lying on the altar.
^Shinta sits back down with his food.
Claron: �What do you suppose he means?...That he�s the only one that can do anything about it?�
Vin_Da_DM: The sai flies gracefully through the short space between the altar and Luna�s outstretched paw.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m guessing he feels he has to confront his sister alone�� Tabris shrugs sighing heavily, �I don�t understand all of it...but there�s more between them we know.�
Clarice: �Aren�t you going to have breakfast this morning? Or is your appetite on hiatus this morning, too?�
Tewyn: �I�m not that hungry today, so guess I�ll pass.�
Luna_Faline closes my fingers around it softly as it lands, �I just love that, but I do hope it will grow with practice,� as I tuck it into my belt. I step past Eclipse into the hall and wait for him to join me.
Vin_Da_DM: Moving away from the now crowded table Syne returns to human form and dusts himself off.
Clarice looks at Tewyn with concern in her eyes, �Are you sure you�re feeling okay?�
Tewyn: �Yeah, I�m fine.�
Vin_Da_DM: �It should,� Eclipse says as he enters the hallway with Luna and slips his hand into her paw.
Clarice finishes the last bite of her omelet and hash browns, then settles back to sip her coffee.
Luna_Faline squeezes his hand, �How are your powers doing now? I mean, do you have all them back yet?�
Claron nods her head, �I hope he is wrong,� as Tabris and her leave and head towards the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not all of them, but enough that�ll be of more use.� Eclipse motions to a section of shadowy wall the ripples as his hand points towards it. �Want to walk or take the shortcut?�
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse and laughs, �Think we can surprise anyone if we take the shortcut?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Depends on where in the galley we pop up, I�d guess.� Eclipse shrugs as stands in front of the rippling shadows.
Tabris walks along thinking to himself. Glancing at Claron he sighs, �We can hope he is...but what if he�s right?�
Luna_Faline steps in front of Eclipse and claims a soft kiss, then steps into the shadow with him.
Claron looks back at Tabris with uncertainty in her eyes and squeezes her his hand softly, �We will just have to do whatever we can��
Vin_Da_DM: As Luna travels with Eclipse through the shadows she catches a split-second glance of a dark space with view of a swirling galaxy. It ends as quickly as it began, and she and Eclipse slide out from the floor near the replicator.
Luna_Faline: �G�morning,� to everyone in the galley as I step forward.
Tewyn waves to Luna_Faline.
Clarice slips a hand down under the table and gently squeezes Tewyn�s thigh.
^Shinta gives Luna_Faline a nod.
Tabris: �I suppose...but it just feels like we can�t do enough.� Tabris shakes his head as they continue walking, reaching the galley a few more steps down the hall.
Kat|e shakes off her daze.
Kat|e: �Gawd, I�m so tired. Spaced off. Sorry �bout that.�
Tewyn grabs Clarice�s hand, �Hey, that�s still sore from last night.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse gives everyone in the galley a nod then glances at both sets of windows studying their views.
Luna_Faline sighs and turns to the replicator, giving Eclipse a slightly disappointed look. �What would you like for breakfast?�
Clarice turns at the sound of Luna_Faline�s voice, �I didn�t see the two of you come in.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not many people do...unless they know what to look for,� Eclipse says to Clarice with a small smirk.
Clarice chuckles, then whispers, �Sorry...guess I will just have to give you a full body massage later,� with a twinkle in her eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...pick something. I�m sure it�ll be good.� Eclipse turns towards Luna and the replicator.
Tewyn: �Yeah, you probably will.�
Kat|e finishes her fruit and sips her juice, slowly tuning into to the conversations around her.
Luna_Faline nods and pushes a few buttons, then waits for 2 orders to appear. �I think, �I�ve worked up an appetite.�
Tabris enters the galley and notices everyone already there. Glancing at Claron he sighs softly then looks up. �Mornin� everyone.�
Claron seems lost in thought as she enters the galley with Tabris.
Luna_Faline takes 2 plates of eggs, hash browns, sausage, ham and bacon to the table. �These look pretty good,� returning to the replicator for the pancakes, milk, and syrup.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse takes his plate and glass then looks at it to see what Luna ordered, �Smells good.�
Tabris looks over at Claron, �You can go ahead and sit down, I�ll get the food.�
Claron glances around at the galley, her eyes searching for any sign of Stryder as she takes a seat at the table.
Kat|e waves distractedly.
Claron nods her head in recognition of Kat|e�s wave.
Tabris: Moving over to the replicator, Tabris orders two plates of food and juice, then brings them over to Claron at the table.
Luna_Faline sits down next to Eclipse and pours warm syrup over my pancakes then offers some to Eclipse. �They look good,� as I pick up a slice of bacon.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse takes the syrup and sniffs it before putting it on his pancakes, �So many centuries and I�d never imagined I�d enjoy eating humanoid food.�
Clarice: �Does Claron look preoccupied to you, or am I imagining it?� glancing at Tewyn.
Tewyn: �Seems everyone is...not just her.�
Kat|e finishes her coffee and frowns, �Well, I think I may need another one. That one didn�t wake me up very much.�
Clarice: �Hmm, wonder what�s up with everyone, then?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Get the strong kind this time,� Syne says to Katie.
Kat|e: �There�s something stronger than this? You been holding out on me, Rogue?� she smiles.
Luna_Faline nods at Eclipse, �It�s not that bad, once you figure out the forks and spoon,� picking up a spoonful of egg and smiling at him.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shrugs at Katie, �That cup you just had didn�t smell as bad. The worse it smells the better it tends to wake you humans up.�
^Shinta clears his plate and puts it away. �Well, if you all would excuse me, I have some talking to go and do,� walking out of the room.
Claron looks at the plate of food Tabris hands her. Realizing she has lost her appetite, she slides the plate back towards Tabris and reaches for the glass of juice.
Kat|e walks to the replicator, �Caffeine flavored mud it is, then.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, the tools were not the problem, I just never took the time to eat a variety of food,� Eclipse says in between bites of his breakfast, �Now, that it�s a necessity, I can enjoy it more.�
Clarice: �Did someone hex everyone�s moods this morning?� as she watches Shinta leave.
Kat|e stares at the doorway with a frown.
Vin_Da_DM: Watching Shinta leave Syne shrugs again and decides to reply to Clarice�s comment, �Despite getting time to relax it seems everyone�s waiting for the next event to happen.�
Luna_Faline nudges him in the side and whispurrs, �Food isn�t all you enjoy,� stuffing a fork of pancakes in my mouth to hide a smile.
Clarice: �What�s the point in waiting for it to happen. No doubt we will know soon enough. Whatever happened to savor the moment?�
Kat|e shakes her head sadly and sits back down.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse snickers amidst a bite of ham, �Oh, I�ve always enjoyed that��
Tabris: �Not hungry?� Tabris looks at Claron with concern as he eats his breakfast.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now there�s something you don�t see everyday�� Syne says from his spot near the window as he looks down at the landscape behind Ettik.
Claron: �No, seemed to have lost my appetite. Where do you suppose Stryder got off to?�
Luna_Faline takes a drink of milk and wipes my mouth. Looks out the window trying to see what Syne is referring to.
Kat|e lays her head down on the table for a moment, then pushes herself up and leaves, heading out to wander.
^Shinta walks off the ship and sits back out by the water.
Clarice looks at Tewyn, �You think we have time for one last swim in the ocean before we leave this place?�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices an odd light flashing some distance away then it disappears as several figures chasing a fifth are seen approaching the ship.
Tewyn: �With us you never know...guess we can try.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...I�d say we have some company,� Syne comments as he watches the figures.
Clarice smiles, �SO, does that mean you want to go for a swim now?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns his head after noticing Luna looking out the window, �What is it?�
Luna_Faline sighs, �A little late for the welcome wagon to come.�
^Shinta: Remy and Sano sit beside ^Shinta as he looks out over the water.
Claron turns to Syne, �Company? What kind of company?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure.�� Syne says as he continues to watch, then jumping slightly as he watches one of the figures shoot a fireball at the one they�re chasing. �Unfriendly...it seems.�
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the window the figure rolls avoiding the fireball which sails past the Ettik and out over the cliff into the ocean.
Clarice: �Guess that answers that�� scrambling to her feet to clear the table of her tray.
Kat|e roams the halls slowly her fingers skimming the walls.
Luna_Faline stands up and moves closer to the window to get a better look. �Most of the time they�re not friendly are they?�
Tewyn: �Yes, guess so...time to wake from the fantasy world and go back to reality.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stands and joins Luna near the window to look as well.
Claron wonders if Alexei is aware of the unexpected visitors.
^Shinta watches the fireball hit as Remy and Sano vanish, �Guess duty calls again,� standing slowly.
Vin_Da_DM: As the figures come into view Luna, Syne and Eclipse recognize Kuan. His pursuers are fiendish looking creatures. Pausing in his run Kuan turns and arcs his katana in front of him, causing it to emit a blue wave that slices one of the fiends in half.
Clarice looks at the others, �Are we just going to sit here and let them introduce themselves?�
Vin_Da_DM: �That�s an idea, but not a very effective one,� Eclipse says as he waves his hand at his shadow and looks at everyone else, �Going down?�
Luna_Faline inhales as I watch Kuan, �What is he doing here?�
Luna_Faline nods and steps quickly into the shadow as I grab my sai.
Clarice nods her head and jumps into the shadow.
Claron looks at Tabris, �Shall we take the Shadow Express?�
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice and Luna pop out of the massive shadow cast by Ettik. Several yards away from Kuan and the fiends.
Kat|e heads off the ship, walking onto the beach and stopping suddenly with a gasp.
Tabris: �Don�t even get to finish breakfast without an interruption...why not.� Tabris pushes his plate back as he stands then nods to Claron.
Kat|e: �So much for vacation,� she sighs.
Claron moves toward the shadow and steps into it.
Tewyn starts walking toward the hatch and out of the ship.
Luna_Faline throws the sai at one fiend as I step from the shadow. �Kuan!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not exactly the reunion I had in mind,� Kuan shouts out to Luna and the others as he watches Luna�s sai hit the fiend and char it with a white burst of energy.
Clarice watches as the fiends behind Kuan then turns to see if Tewyn followed her into the shadow. �Just what the fuck is up with everyone?� she exclaims when she does not see him.
Luna_Faline holds my paw out and the sai returns quickly, �I didn�t expect to see you here either,� as I throw it at another enemy.
^Shinta closes his eyes as Sano appears in front of a fiend and slams his hands around his head.
Vin_Da_DM: Tabris and Eclipse appear of the shadows as Kuan reaches Luna with a heavy breath. �Someone had to be the bearer of the news.��
Clarice feels her temper flaring as she concentrates on the moisture in the air.
Tewyn walks out, �What�s all the commotion?�
Vin_Da_DM: The second fiend dodges Luna�s sai, but the first falls back from Sano�s attacks.
^Shinta opens his eyes, �Bad news, or bad company?�
Vin_Da_DM: Noticing it is the last one remaining, the fiend leaps into the air to attack Kuan, but is met mid-air by an icy shockwave that sails out towards it from in front of Clarice.
Luna_Faline as the sai returns to my paw again, �Please don�t say it�s more bad news, Kuan.� watching the enemies fighting us.
Clarice eyes widen, �What the...DID you see that?� glancing around the others and searching out Tewyn with her eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not bad�� Syne says as he watches the frozen fiend crash into the ground and shatter, �That�ll leave a mark��
Tewyn walks toward the others, �Guess you found your new stuff, huh?�
Luna_Faline turns to look at Kuan, �Are you injured?� hoping to put off any bad news.
Clarice rushes over towards Tewyn, �Appears so, and I have pretty good idea what triggers it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan supports himself with his katana as he breathes heavily, �Not bad...damn fiends show up in any portals leaving Aventine.�
Tewyn: �Well, that�s good.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse moves over to one of the fiends and rolls it over with his foot, �Ahh...I remember these ones. Nasty ones.�
Claron looks at Tabris, �Seems to me we better watch ourselves around Clarice, too.�
Kat|e walks out to join the others.
Tabris: �I doubt she�d freeze any of us intentionally�� Tabris says looking at the icy remains of the shattered creature.
Luna_Faline looks closer at the dead one at Eclipse�s feet. �Do they also appear when you go to Aventine?�
Clarice lowers her gaze for a second, �I dunno...seems it happened cause my temper was getting the best of me.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not that I�ve seen,� Kuan says as he stands up and sheaths his katana.
Tewyn: �Well, that can cause some problems with the temper you have.�
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian casually exits the Ettik and walks down the ramp towards the group, �Kuan, you�ve arrived. I trust you have the report?�
Vin_Da_DM: Crouching Eclipse turns the corpse�s neck and nods noticing the brand there, �Thought so...portal hoppers. Looks like they don�t want anyone who leaves Aventine to be able to return.�
Clarice: �Oh, that�s just fucking great! Gonna need a crash course on how to keep my cool!� chuckles.
Tewyn: �That�s putting it mildly.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan glances at the Guardian, �Yes. They�ve begun taking the outer towns and settlements. Given current resistance, they�ll be at the inner cities within the month.�
Tabris looks between Kuan and Guardian listening carefully, �Whose they? You guys talking about that big army of bad guys?�
Luna_Faline shakes my head in disbelief. �How is it possible that they have advanced this quickly?�
Claron: �I should hope not.� Claron shivers for a second, �We do of course know she is capable of it�� her eyes showing Tabris that she remembers what happened to her in the past.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse listens then glances up at Luna, �Practice...similar plan as the last time, changed to be more effective no doubt.�
Luna_Faline looks down at Eclipse, �I was hoping they had not gotten any smarter since the last time.�
Kat|e: �And so we go riding into the fray once more.�
Clarice stands quietly beside Tewyn as she listens to the conversation.
Claron glances around, searching for any sign of Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan looks around at everyone, �Not just yet. You�ve still got some time before you had to return. Time to gather support of any allies...unfortunately I have to return to help bolster defenses. They want at least one Warrior there.�
Kat|e watches Shinta curiously out of the corner of her eye.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron notices Stryder watching silently from up on top of the Ettik.
Claron breathes a sigh of relief as she spots Stryder.
Luna_Faline: �Which allies do you want us to go to?�
Kat|e: �Ah. More allies needed then. This should be interesting.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian nods at Kuan, �So that gives us just less than two months time,� the Guardian swivels his gaze around at the rest of the group.
Tewyn: �So are we making recruitment posters, or what?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Visit some of the worlds you�ve already been to, contact those allies you�ve met and perhaps find others,� Guardian replies.
Tabris: �We�ve been planet hopping like crazy...where do we start?� Tabris says with a questioning look.
Kat|e: �Exactly my thought, Tab.�
Luna_Faline: �And they weren�t all friendly, either.�
Clarice mutters, �Seems to me, we didn�t have much luck of gathering allies the first time around.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse reaches over to the dead fiend�s head and holds it still with one hand while he rips off one of it�s horns. Standing up he tucks the horn into his belt, �This�ll be useful later�� he mutters to himself.
Kat|e pokes a tongue out at Clarice, �Ya got ME, didn�t ya?�
^Shinta: �Don�t be so sure, we touched more lives than we know.�
Clarice chuckles��That we did, McKinnon.�
Kat|e: �Ya sorry, yet?�
Kat|e smiles.
Luna_Faline watches Eclipse take the horn, and shivers. �I hope so, I�d hate to think that�s some kind of trophy to hang on the wall.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan nods, �I wish you luck in finding these allies with haste. And know that the goddess sends her prayers and wishes for you."
Clarice: �No way...without you and the others...I�d still be a prisoner myself...or worse...dead,� slipping her hand in Tewyn�s and gently squeezing it.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian grabs a small data-chip from his torso and hands it to Kuan, �See that this gets to the Council. And tell them we will return with as many allies as we can.�
Luna_Faline moves closer to Kuan, �Is she doing alright?�
Claron: �Less than two months�doesn�t seem like a lot of time.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan takes the chip and then turns to Luna with a nod, �As well as she can. She told me to tell you to that she watches over you whenever she can.� Kuan bows to everyone, �I must go. Good luck.�
Kat|e: �Farewell, Kuan,� she murmurs softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Kuan turns and grabs a small liquid filled from his belt. Tossing it to the ground he disappears in a flash of light.
Luna_Faline bows as Kuan leaves.
Clarice wonders what was on that data-chip.
^Shinta: �Guess we know what we need to go do then.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian watches Kuan leave then nods assertively, �Alright. We have our timeline, now we simply must decide where to seek allies from first.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shrugs at everyone in general, �Well, don�t go asking me. I�m just along for the ride.�
Tabris: �No, it�s not a lot of time,� Tabris replies to Claron�s comment then looks up at Stryder.
Claron: �Hmm, maybe we should go back in reverse order of how we started.�
Clarice: �SO, how much time you all want to stand here and waste? The proverbial clock is ticking, you know.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I have a suggestion�� Alexei�s voice chimes in as he steps off the bottom of the ramp, �If you guys are looking for help, you could try asking the Gul-Qian. Ettik has a desire to go there, so it might handle two things at once?�
Kat|e shivers.
Tewyn: �Well, whatever works.�
Luna_Faline looks around the group, �I think that is an excellent idea,� turning to head up the ramp.
Claron: �Sounds like a plan to me.�
^Shinta heads up the ramp, �Lets hope they can be of great assistance.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian nods to Alexei, �The trip will not take long?� Alexei shakes his head, �Assuming they didn�t move their gates, it shouldn�t take more than a few days.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows Luna up the ramp, pulling the horn out of his belt he turns it over looking at it. �Definitely her style�� he whispers to himself.
Clarice nods her head toward the ship at Tewyn, �How bout I work on that massage?�
Tewyn: �I guess one last bit of vacation would be nice.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne wanders up the ramp back to the ship, watching the landscape, �Once this is all over we should come back here.�
Luna_Faline watches Eclipse with the horn, �Who�s style?�
Clarice smiles as she leads Tewyn back onboard the ship.
Kat|e nods at Syne. �Most definitely.�
Kat|e walks onto the ship and stretches her arms over her head, yawning.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh...it�s complicated,� Eclipse looks over at Luna as if trying to think of the right answer.
Claron glances back up towards Stryder one more time before she starts to move towards the ship.
Tabris: �Guess we have a few days to see if we can get anything else out of our son,� Tabris says as he joins Claron at her side.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei taps Katie gently on the shoulder to get her attention, �You don�t have to see them when we get there.�
Claron: �I don�t know how we can do anymore than what we already have. We have asked him several times.�
Luna_Faline: �I think we have time for you to explain it to me,� wondering about Eclipse.
Kat|e nods, �I know. It�s not that I don�t want to see them. It�s just�it will be weird to be there, again.�
Tabris: �We can always try again�� Tabris says with a sigh as they head down the hallway.
Luna_Faline makes my way into the ship, and heads back to my room, �I think I need a shower,� I mumble.
Vin_Da_DM: �I know the feeling...but if they can help you, it�ll be worth it.� Alexei says sincerely then heads off for the bridge.
Clarice leads Tewyn back to their quarters. As they enter she heads for the bathroom to get lotion. Upon returning she smiles softly, �Now, about that massage��
Vin_Da_DM: �A shower�s a good idea,� Eclipse says in return to Luna�s comment.
Tewyn sits on the bed, �Yes, about that.�
Kat|e sighs.
Claron nods her head in agreement with Tabris as they enter their room.
Luna_Faline enters the room and places my sai on the altar once more. Hangs up my cloak and bends over to take off my boots.
Clarice moves closer towards Tewyn sitting on the bed. Setting the lotion on the stand next to the bed, she leans in toward Tewyn and begins to help him remove his shirt.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse moves over a flat surface as far away from the altar as he can find and places the horn on it. Turning to Luna he sighs heavily, �Are you sure you really want me to tell you?�
Vin_Da_DM: �It may not have an ocean, but at least it�s a few more days of rest, Kat. Don�t look so bummed out,� Syne pats Katie on the shoulder with a concerned smile.
Claron: �So what do you propose we try next with our son?� sitting down on the bed and patting the place next to her.
Kat|e smiles weakly at Syne.
Kat|e: �I�m half the woman I used to be. Will be very odd to return to the scene of my �replacement�.�
Luna_Faline steps out of the last boot and turns around to face him. �Is it that bad, that you don�t want to tell me?� Moving closer to him, �I love you, what ever you did in the past doesn�t change how I feel about you here and now.�
Luna_Faline taking his hand in my paw, �But I need to know who or what we may be facing. And you seem to know them better than any of us.�
Tabris: �Well�� Tabris looks at Claron for a while then gets a look of worry, �We might have to try what your Uncle did to me after...you know.�
Clarice kisses Tewyn softly then whispers in his ear... �If you want the full body massage�would make it easier to do if you lose the rest of your clothing, too.�
Tewyn: �No, this will be fine, can�t get too relaxed anymore.�
Claron eyes grow large, �Oh no! I�m not the only one seeing the signs then��
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, don�t worry about it, Kat. If you�re half the woman you used to be, you must have been quite the walking wonder-girl back then.� Syne chuckles at Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: �My own flesh and blood...if she could be called that anymore.� Eclipse eyes the horn then looks back at Luna. �Xamaen...the corrupt and defiled woman who used to be my sister��
Clarice tries to not show any signs of disappointment as she grabs the lotion and crawls on the bed behind him to gain access to his back.
Tabris: �Yes...but I�m not sure I could do that to Stryder,� Tabris lowers his head as he slumps down against the side of the bed.
Kat|e laughs, �Oh hardly. �Cast-Iron bitch�, I believe was the phrase.�
Luna_Faline pulls Eclipse into the bath room and turns on the water, �Keep going, I�m listening,� as I pull him in the shower with me.
Clarice smiles evilly as she applies lotion to her hands. Chilling her hands and the lotion, she places her hands on his back and begins working her hands in circular motions, �If you say so��
Tewyn shivers slightly, �I say so.�
Vin_Da_DM: �These �portal hoppers� are but one of her fiendish creations,� Eclipse sighs as he waits for the water to hit him, �I choose to use my abilities in more...tame ways then she does. And if these fiends are being used by Daegriss� army, it�s a good bet he had her take my place after I turned.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Avoiding her is the best course of action�� Eclipse leans back against the edge of the shower, �If she and I were to fight��
Clarice smiles as she continues to work her cold hands and fingers into Tewyn�s back muscles for a another couple of minutes before allowing her hands to return to their normal body temperature.
Luna_Faline lathers up my paws and runs them over Eclipse�s back, �It would be worse than your last fight.��
Claron places her hand on Tabris, �You may not have any choice in the matter.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Extremely�� Eclipse loses himself in Luna�s touch and goes silent.
Kat|e stares out the window, looking small and lost.
Tabris: �True�� Tabris sighs.
Luna_Faline shivers, �I see.�
Vin_Da_DM: As the Ettik�s engines thrum to life the massive ship lifts upwards as it hovers off the ground. As the landing struts disappear seamlessly into the hull, Ettik shoots out towards space, causing the window views to change from clouds to stars.
Vin_Da_DM: Leaving behind the blue/green planet the Ettik readies for hyperspace, the usual rainbow display of colors accompany a carefree glide into a glowing blue hyperspace corridor. And so the Warriors are off to seek aid from the Gul-Qian, the reclusive and mysterious builders of living ships.
