Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: The last of the challenges were undertaken and completed. Given only a few answers to their questions by the being Mateus, the Warriors were sent on their way via yet another portal.
Vin_Da_DM: This portal led them to an ocean-side hill where the Ettik sit peacefully looking out over the expanse of water. Alexei greeted the Warriors back cheerfully and then informed they had been gone for several months.
Vin_Da_DM: Deciding to stay on the planet for a few more days, the Warriors got to enjoy the ocean and some relaxation before the next crisis would befall them.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time Passed: 8 hours*
Vin_Da_DM: The morning sun rises above the horizon opposite the ocean, peaking over the rolling planes and sparsely spaced trees, casting full color into the sky and surrounding landscape. A few clouds dump the remainder of their rain into the ocean just beyond the Ettik.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse rolls to his side, wrapping his arm over Luna and pressing his bare skin against her fur, �Wake up, my sleeping beauty.�
Claron smiles as she snuggles in closer to feel the warmth of Tabris� naked body against her skin.
Luna_Faline sighs and snuggles against him, �I�m awake, just watching the rain thru the window.� Stretches out, my fur rubbing softly against him.
Kat|e stretches and yawns, getting sand in her mouth. �O�god, I fell asleep on the beach? Shit!�
Tabris kisses Claron on the lips then smiles at her, �I guess this means you�re awake.� He speaks softly just incase he was wrong.
Clarice lays staring at the ceiling and listening to the rhythmic breathing sound of Tewyn sleeping.
Kat|e notices she�s been partially buried in the sand. �Alright, which one of you smart asses did THIS?� she yells at the quiet ship.
Luna_Faline rolls over slowly, wrapping myself around Eclipse tightly. �Was your challenge so bad?� I ask softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie hears a bass-toned giggle coming from nearby as Syne pokes his head up from the water, in a bear-like form with a pile of fish nearby on the sand.
Kat|e breaks free of the sand, muttering, �Damn dog, I�m betting.�
Kat|e: �Oh you, SOOOO owe me breakfast for this.� She tries to glare, but laughs instead.
Claron opens her eyes to see Tabris smiling at her, �Yes, my love. Although�I wouldn�t mind spending days in this bed with you,� smiling slyly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not really�� Eclipse says, his tone sounding as though he�s trying to avoid answering, �Seems I was the only who ended mine instead of letting it play out.�
Tabris: �We�ve got those days to spend however we like,� Tabris says twirling some of Claron�s hair in his fingers.
Vin_Da_DM: �Will need to be cooked first, but take some,� Syne motions a paw out of the water toward the fish pile as he walks onto the sand.
Luna_Faline buries my face in his neck, �You ended yours? I wish I could�ve done that��
Kat|e throws back her head, holding her sides and laughing till tears pour, �If you�d ever seen me in a kitchen, you wouldn�t even SUGGEST that.� She brushes the sand off her ass and front and saunters off toward the ship.
Vin_Da_DM: �I probably shouldn�t have, but I did,� Eclipse says extending a hand toward the ceiling and looking at it as he flexes his fingers, �Probably means I�m getting more of my abilities back.�
Claron: �Oh, I forgot that Alexei did say we would spend a couple days here.� Claron�s smile widens as she traces the outline of Tabris� lips with her finger.
Luna_Faline looks at his fingers, blushing. �I think your abilities are amazing,� I giggle.
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the ship Stryder stands along the cliff near Ettik�s forward landing strut, extending a hand at the water testing his new powers as he causes small sections of water burst into splashes.
Kat|e: She stops and turns back, �But I�ll help you carry it.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Several generations worth of evolution and outside influence,� Eclipse lowers his hand and yawns a bit, �Impressive to everybody else I�d guess.�
Luna_Faline sits up with a paw on his chest looking down on him, �How many others have experienced your abilities?� trying to keep a serious face as I tease him.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shifts to his human form as walks around the pile and crouches picking them up, �Up to you. I can manage, and you probably don�t want to smell like dead fish AND wet sand.�
Kat|e shrugs and grabs some up. �That�s what showers are good for.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smirks at Luna, �None in a few thousand years, so you�re safe.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne nods carrying his load of fish to the ship and looking at Katie, �Never liked showers myself...of course I don�t smell for long periods.�
Clarice tries to wipe out the image of her father�s face with the smug look while asking her to prove who she really is. Not having much luck at it she wishes Tewyn would waken so she could talk to him about it.
Kat|e nods, �True.�
Luna_Faline rolls my eyes as I laugh, �I wasn�t worried about my safety. I just don�t like to share,� as I lean down for a kiss.
Tabris: �So, what else would you like to do besides lay here?� Tabris looks at Claron with a raised brow and a tiny smile.
Vin_Da_DM: Enjoying the kiss Eclipse looks into Luna�s eyes and manages a laugh, �So I�d better warn any ex-lovers to stay away, lest you turn them into kibble.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne ducking inside Ettik�s hatch Syne looks over at Katie, continuing, �But I guess there are pros and cons to any species.�
Luna_Faline pokes him in the ribs, �What are we going to do today?� changing the subject.
Kat|e follows, �I suppose.�
Claron runs her hand down along Tabris� chest, �Whatever you want to do. Although, I am curious as to why you came back from your challenge on your back.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...good question,� Eclipse stares out the window for a moment, thinking before looking back at Luna. �How about trying to find this �gift� Mateus gave you?�
Tabris: �Got a little rough is all,� Tabris says to Claron, catching her hand on his chest and lifting it to his lips to kiss it.
Luna_Faline my gaze moves to the sai resting on the altar for a moment, then sliding back to Eclipse I smile, �I think you did a pretty good search last night.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, but I don�t think we found it by searching that way,� Eclipse smirks as he leans up in the bed, stretching as he eyes the sai.
Claron: �Is there a reason you don�t want to share that with me?� while gazing into Tabris� eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �So it takes burying you in the sand to get more than a few words out of you, does it?� Syne says as he walks into the galley and sets the fish down in a sink at the central counter.
Luna_Faline watches him looking at the sai, �Well, where do you want to look now?�
Kat|e sets down her fish and smirks, �No. I�m just naturally quiet. Unless I�m drinking, apparently.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...but your sai is a powerful tool. We might try with it,� Eclipse says turning his gaze from the weapon to Luna.
Luna_Faline looks him in the eye, hoping he can�t see my doubt rising. �We probably shouldn�t try anything inside the ship. I don�t want to hurt Ettik.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne nods then steps away from the counter, looking down at his wet and slimy hands. The skin changes into a green-ish liquid and ripples, then returns to human hands that are spotless, �Who needs a shower.�
Kat|e: �It�s something I�m trying to work on.�
Kat|e blinks.
Kat|e: �Nice talent,� she smiles.
Kat|e: �But I think I�d better have one, if I ever want anyone to come near me again.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You don�t smell that bad to me, but then again my senses don�t find a lot offensive,� Syne chuckles as he looks at Katie, �Then go shower.�
Kat|e shoots him a grin, her eyes twinkling, then walks off to wash the sand out of her crevices.
Vin_Da_DM: �We can take it outside then,� Eclipse says as he slides off the bed and looks around finding the appropriate pieces of his clothing, �Hmm...pants...where did I put them?��
Luna_Faline giggles as I slide off the bed and pull his pants out from under the blankets �Is this what your looking for?�
Vin_Da_DM: �That would be it,� Eclipse reaches across the bed and snags his pants from her, sliding them on.
Tabris: �Several...I was not proud of what my challenge showed me,� Tabris frowns at Claron as he pushes himself out of bed and stands up staring out the window.
Luna_Faline rubs past Eclipse on my way to the bath room, �I won�t be long.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll be here,� Eclipse replies as he watches her disappear into the bathroom.
Tewyn tosses around in bed.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne moves over to a table in the galley near the window and sits, leaning back as he gazes out at the ocean.
Luna_Faline quickly runs a brush thru my thick mane and takes care of other necessities.
^Shinta opens his eyes from his meditation looking out over the water.
Claron slips out of bed behind Tabris, encircles her arms around his waist. �There is only one thing I can think of that would cause you to feel that way,� as she lays her cheek against his back.
Luna_Faline stepping back into the room I move to the altar and retrieve my amulet and sai. Pausing for a moment to run a finger across the soft petals of the rose.
Tabris: �And you�d probably be right,� Tabris says, resting his hand on her arms on his waist. With a sigh he looks over his shoulder at her, �And I hope I never have to feel that way again.�
Clarice feels Tewyn moving in their bed and wonders if she would wake him.
Vin_Da_DM: The rose is still vibrant and soft to the touch. Eclipse moves up near Luna and smiles lightly, �Rare flower. Took me quite a while to find it.�
Claron: �I hope that for you, too. Tab...I also did something in my challenge that I wasn�t proud of��
Luna_Faline purrs as I turn around and hug him, �I love you,� I whispurr quietly.
Kat|e wanders back to the galley, clean now, but her stomach rumbling loudly.
^Shinta stands and heads back on the ship.
Vin_Da_DM: �I love you too,� Eclipse replies softly to her, giving her a hug back.
Vin_Da_DM: �Going to eat something?� Syne says from his spot near the window as he turns a head toward Katie.
Kat|e jumps, �You scared the hell out of me.� She laughs. �Yeah, my belly thinks my throat�s been cut.�
Luna_Faline sighs and steps away from Eclipse, �I�ll just get my cloak,� turning quickly toward the closet.
Tewyn tosses a bit more, then opens his eyes.
^Shinta wanders the ship a bit then enters the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: As Luna turns towards the closet she notices the clothes in her closet rustle just a bit.
Clarice rolls to her side to gaze at Tewyn as he sleeps, chastising herself mentally for allowing herself to even think that she could actually be a clone.
Luna_Faline looks quickly at Eclipse, �I think something�s in there.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You sure?� Eclipse looks at Luna quizzically.
Kat|e gets herself some sausage and eggs and some juice, then plunks down at the table and digs in.
Luna_Faline walks softly and quickly to the closet and pushes the clothes back, ready to catch whatever is in there.
Vin_Da_DM: �Morning there, soul man.� Syne says from his spot, giving Shinta a wave, �Enjoyed your sleeping while sitting?�
Vin_Da_DM: Nothing is in Luna�s closet, save empty space and the soft hum of Ettik�s bulkheads.
Clarice smiles as she Tewyn open his eyes, �Good morning, sleepy head. I hope you enjoyed a restful sleep,� leaning in to kiss his lips.
Kat|e turns and waves, smiling, her mouth full.
Tewyn: �Hmmm�yea, guess I was a bit tired.�
^Shinta waves at Katie grabbing his fruit and juice, �Care for some company?�
Tabris: �Oh?� Tabris looks at Claron fully this time, having turned around on her.
Kat|e nods, swallowing her bite. �Absolutely.�
^Shinta takes a seat, �So are you enjoying the R&R?�
Luna_Faline grabs my cloak and turns back to Eclipse hoping he doesn�t think I�ve lost my mind, �Must have been the air circulating,� I mumble as I put on my cloak.
Kat|e: �Very much.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Maybe, oh well,� Eclipse shrugs and nods to Luna as he opens the door into the hallway.
^Shinta: �That�s good to hear�Been a long time since I�ve seen you smile this much.�
Luna_Faline walks out with Eclipse. �Do you want to get a bite to eat first?� feeling a slight rumble in my tummy.
Claron nods her head, �Yes�� she whispers as she drops her gaze from Tabris� eyes.
Kat|e: �Well, I suppose it�s time I started remembering how,� she says quietly, then digs back into her breakfast.
Vin_Da_DM: Quietly listening to Shinta and Katie, Syne moves back over to the central counter. Grabbing a fish from the sink he takes a bite of it as he walks back to his seat near the window.
^Shinta: �Probably a good idea, can�t be grumpy all the time.�
Tewyn sits up and stretches, �How did you sleep?�
Kat|e swats at Shinta, �Grumpy!?!� She swats him again.
Vin_Da_DM: �Sure, why not. Breakfast sounds like a good idea,� Eclipse says extending a hand to Luna.
Tabris: �It�s okay, you don�t have to tell me.� Tabris rests his hand on Claron�s shoulder giving her comfort.
^Shinta smiles, �Would you rather I say bitchy?�
Clarice: �I�d say you were, I could have sworn you feel asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.�
Luna_Faline smiles and takes his hand, �Wonder if anyone else is up yet?� as we move along.
Kat|e laughs, �Well, even if it IS closer to the truth�a gentleman NEVER calls a lady grumpy�� she lifts her fork to her mouth then pauses, ��let alone bitchy.� She smirks and takes a bite.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sniffs the air as they walk down the hallway, �Not sure...there is the scent of fish, I think, though.�
^Shinta winks at her, �Okay, we shall just say rodent like.�
Kat|e giggles around her mouthful.
Luna_Faline sniffs the air as well, �Syne, Katie and Shinta, I think,� nods, �Smells like someone has been busy.�
Tewyn looks at Clarice, �But you didn�t answer me...how did you sleep?�
Claron: �But I want to tell you...I just hope that it never happens for real.� Claron looks back into Tabris� eyes. �I was on a battlefield and all of us were there...There was this creature...Oh, god!...He was brutal!.��
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm, you can smell Syne? Better nose than I have. He doesn�t seem to have that much of a smell to me,� looking at Luna Eclipse shrugs.
Tabris: �Sounds bad,� Tabris moves over to the bed and sits on the edge as he slips his shirt and pants on.
Clarice: �I�m sorry, I can�t shut my own mind off...forgive me...I am afraid, I didn�t sleep much.�
^Shinta: �Ummm, so have you felt any different...since we�ve come back?�
Luna_Faline shrugs lightly, �I knew he smelled vaguely familiar as a dog. It was like a distant foggy memory.�
Tewyn: �Well, that�s just not any good.�
Kat|e stops and considers. �Felt different? No. More like I�ve decided to BE different.�
^Shinta nods, �I see...must just be me, I guess.�
^Shinta scratches his head nervously, �So, no new feelings�or odd sensations...like you learned something?�
Kat|e cocks her head, �Oh, I feel like I�ve learned a lot. But it�s been mostly internal buried things.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse enters the galley with Luna and looks around, noting Shinta, Katie and Syne in the room. Staring at the central counter he nods, �And there�s the fish��
Luna_Faline laughs as we enter the galley. �Good morning, Syne, Katie, and Shinta.� Nodding at Eclipse, �I was right.�
^Shinta: �No, no...not that....like a new power��
Kat|e: �Mornin�, Luna. G�mornin, Smudge.� She smiles cheerfully.
Claron watches Tabris, �It was...I watched him kill everyone of the Warriors...except Stryder...I killed our son as he and I worked together to destroy this creature.� Tears well up in her eyes.
Kat|e: �Power? Hmm�not really.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Mornin�. Take as much of the fish as you want, was up all mornin� catching it.� Syne speaks up from his spot near the window as he swallows the tail end-remainder of his fish whole.
^Shinta: �I think I did.��
^Shinta gives a wave to Luna_Faline and Eclipse.
Kat|e laughs, �Except for a few moments of devilry, eh, Rogue?�
Tabris stands and hugs Claron, �There, there...but it wasn�t real. We�re all still here.�
Luna_Faline ears perk up, �Power? Like what?� Smiles at Syne and opens a cabinet door looking for cooking things.
Clarice smiles weakly at Tewyn��I can�t stop thinking about the challenge.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I deny any involvement with burying any black haired ladies in the sand,� Syne says with a chuckle.
Kat|e throws a wadded-up napkin at him.
^Shinta: �Well�� closing his eyes for a moment...a young red headed boy with a face full of freckles and sly grin appears next to Kat|e, �Say hi to Remy.�
Kat|e: �Riiiiiiiight.�
Kat|e screams.
Luna_Faline raises a brow questioningly at Syne as I pull a fry pan out of the cabinet, �Oh?�
Kat|e: �Holy shit, Shinta!�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse raises a brow as he notices Katie scream, �Now, that�s interesting��
Claron : �I don�t know...maybe it was a sign of what�s to come�.�
Luna_Faline jumps and turns quickly at Katie�s scream, �Oh, my Goddess.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne flips off his seat and lands on the table looking over at Katie and Shinta, �What�s goin...well look at that. It�s a ghost.�
^Shinta: �Seems I can pull them to our side now.�
Kat|e clutches her chest, �Good God, just when I thought you couldn�t get any more unnerving�.Hello, Remy, you little rascal. Nice to meet you face to face.�
Eclipse: �Guess that answers your question, Luna,� Eclipse glances at her then back at the Remy ghost next to Katie and Shinta.
^Shinta shrugs, �I don�t want to be unnerving.�
Kat|e laughs shakily.
Kat|e: �It�s okay. Just unexpected,� she puts a reassuring hand on his arm.
^Shinta looks at Remy with a huge smile on his face, �He wants to know if you find him dead sexxxxxy.�
Kat|e frowns.
Tabris: �Maybe...but if it is, you�ve defeated it once. Odds are in our favor if we meet it for real,� Tabris says trying to encourage Claron to be positive with his tone.
Tewyn: �You and me both.�
Luna_Faline catches my breath, �Well, that�s a new trick,� turning back to my hunt for utensils, I find a knife and pick up a fish making fast work of filleting it while the pan gets hot on the stove top.
Kat|e: �So, that means you can.�� she shivers, then shakes her head. �Dead sexy?� She can�t help but laugh. �No, dearie. I�ve kinda got a thing for�um�older men.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hopefully living and tangible ones as well, Kat.� Syne adds in as he hops off the table.
^Shinta sees Remy frown, �He says okay...but is that in physical year or spiritual...cause he is old.�
Claron: �True...I just hope we never run into it��
^Shinta: �And yes, it means I can�� lowering his head.
Kat|e giggles, �I like men who look like grown men�or�grown some things, anyhow.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Luna cook with interest, �You�re good at this.�
Kat|e shoots a glare at Syne. �Well, I�ve been in love with several dead men, so you tell me.�
^Shinta: �Just hope it is of some use.�
Claron picks up her clothes and begins to dress. �I suppose we should get some breakfast, especially after last nights activities,� turning to look back at Tabris with a smile.
Vin_Da_DM: �Eh? Don�t ask me. I�ve been in love with beings from several different species, so I�m not one to talk.� Syne says as he sits back down.
Luna_Faline chuckles, �Well, he got ya there, Katie,� as I fry the fish quickly, �Not really, just something I picked up once a long time ago. Not much chance to use it after mortals got so modern,� motioning to the food replicator in the wall.
Kat|e nods to Shinta. �It may come in handy, sometime. But tell Kyo if he appears next to me anytime soon, I�m liable to run screaming.�
^Shinta watches Remy goose Kat|e�s butt before he fades out.
Kat|e: �Oh, my goddess!� she shrieks.
Kat|e: �I�m going to kill that kid!�
^Shinta: �I don�t know if you will have to worry about Kyo appearing...unless its to say a final goodbye.�
Kat|e goes white.
Clarice rises to a kneeling position beside Tewyn, �Do you want to talk about it?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yea, quickness over quality for most. Good to see some people still enjoy a hands on approach,� Eclipse smiles as he smells the fish with an approving grin.
Kat|e: �Goodbye?�
Tewyn: �If you would like to��
Luna_Faline slides the fish to a plate and hands it to Eclipse, �Hands on is always good, I hope it tastes alright.�
^Shinta: �Why did you turn so white, Kat|e?�
Tabris: �Sounds like a plan. Know what you�re going to have?� Tabris looks at Claron with a smile and a quizzically raised eyebrow.
Kat|e shakes her head and gets up and moves to the window.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers into the galley quietly and inputs a few commands on the replicator, waiting while it pops out his meal.
^Shinta gets up and goes over to Kat|e, �Come, lets go outside and talk.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If it tastes like it smells, I�m in good hands.� Eclipse leans over the plate and takes a big breath in.
Luna_Faline fixes another fish, �Anyone else care for one while I�m at it?� as I slide the fish to a plate.
Kat|e lets Shinta lead her off the ship, staring ahead blankly.
Tewyn: �You want to start, or me.�
Clarice: �You first.�
Tabris: �I�ll pass. It�s easier for me to absorb them raw,� Syne replies to Luna question as he leans again the table, humming to himself.
Tewyn: �Well, my challenge had to deal with Cara.�
^Shinta sits Kat|e by the water, �Okay, talk to me, why did you act like that?�
Claron chuckles, �Steak and eggs sounds good to me,� moving towards the door.
Kat|e stares out over the waves, trying to find the words.
Luna_Faline mumbles, �Well, bye�� as Katie and Shinta leave and Stryder hits the replicator. �Well, I guess this one is mine then,� moving to the table with Eclipse.
Clarice: �Cara...your daughter?�
Tewyn shakes his head, �No...Cara, the young girl, who gave her life for mine.�
Kat|e: �It�s��
Kat|e swallows hard and starts again.
^Shinta looks at Kat|e.
Tabris walks down the hallway with Claron, �Wonder where Stryder is? He seemed to be enjoying himself last night.�
Clarice eyes widen, �Oh! That must have been difficult for you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder moves with his plate over to a table and sits down just as quietly as when he entered the galley and starts eating.
Tewyn: �Just a bit...having to watch it all again.�
Kat|e: �It�s the same old fear. Everyone leaves me. I lost him, and I thought it was forever. Then you came along, and I�I had him back, sort-of. It took some time to reconcile myself to it, but in the end, I was glad to have him around. And now you tell me he�s going to leave me forever?� tears shimmer, but she blinks them back.
Claron: �He did seem to be enjoying himself�Do you smell fish?�
Luna_Faline watches Stryder for a moment then turns back to my plate, taking a bite I purr.
^Shinta hugs Kat|e tightly, �He says there is a reason.�
Kat|e: �It�s dumb, I know. And I have to face loss. It�s all a part of living. But�Kyo�s been with me for so long�� she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.
Luna_Faline: �Hmmmm, this is good. Thanks for doing the hard part, Syne.�
Tabris: �Is that what that is? I thought Syne was being a dog again and got wet,� Tabris says as they near the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse finishes up his fish and nods, �Very good.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not a problem. It was fun chasing them around before catching them,� Syne smirks at Luna.
Clarice wraps her arms around Tewyn�s neck, �Oh, no!�
Kat|e�s eyes open up and they are blazing brilliant emerald. �Damn your reason,� she says quietly, talking to a memory.
Tewyn: �I watched her die in front of me again.�
Luna_Faline laughs, �Take your fun where ever you can find it. We don�t get down time often enough.� Nodding to Eclipse, �Thank you.�
^Shinta straightens Kat|e up. �We have been watching over you for a long time, Kat|e...far longer than you know.�
Clarice shakes her head, �Tewyn, I am sure you tried very hard to prevent it from happening.�
Vin_Da_DM: Pushing his plate to the side Eclipse leans back in his chair and watches Luna, �You�re welcome, keep it this good and we might have to make you the chef.�
Tewyn: �Yes, but to no avail again.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �This is the only thing I learned to cook well. I mostly either have it too raw, or burned. No one wants that,� takes my last bite and moves to clean up.
Kat|e nods, �I guess...I just always thought you�d be here with me�I just...Oh, fuck it. It doesn�t matter what I thought. You do what needs to be done, my sweet Kyo. I will honor what you gave me. And I will do my damnedest not to be afraid.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks up from his table at Claron and Tabris as they enter the galley, giving them a wave and a smile in between bites of food.
Kat|e summons up a smile.
^Shinta: �We have been there the day the military group split up and you went your own way...We were around the day you lost memories of us�We were around that day you found new love�It was no mistake you found us for hire to aide you.�
Clarice: �Is that why you came back and had to speak with Claron and Tab right away?�
Kat|e: �You�you really WERE there, all along, weren�t you?� She sniffles and puts her head on Shinta's shoulder.
Claron smiles as she sees Stryder waving at them, �I am so glad it wasn�t real,� she whispers softly to Tabris.
Tewyn: �Yes...reliving that let me remember I have to keep faith in your kind�one saved me before...and I owe it to her memory to keep that alive.�
Luna_Faline nods at Claron and Tabris as they enter, �G�morning.�
^Shinta nods, �Yes, we were...but at the end...it wasn�t Kyo pushing me to be there...it was me wanting it.�
Tabris: �So am I�� Tabris says as he waves back to Stryder.
Tabris: �Mornin� Luna, Eclipse.� Tabris nods to both of them as he walks over towards the replicator.
Kat|e: �But....why? When I�d always treated you so awful? I was a hard commanding officer, and I put you through hell time and again�� she smiles, �Yes, I remember a lot more now. And I don�t know why either of you ever stayed close to me.�
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �Are you ready then?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods back at Tabris then slides out of his chair. Taking a few moments to gaze out the window before replying to Luna, �Sure am.�
^Shinta places his hand over her heart, �Cause you let us see that part of you.�
Clarice smiles, �I am sorry you had to go through that again�makes mine seem so trivial in comparison.�
Luna_Faline moves toward the door, �We�ll be outside,� I tell Claron as I pass her.
Kat|e gives a broken laugh, �Yeah, shattered as it is.� She sighs, �What a fucked-up mess I am�have always been. And yet, somehow, I find people who are willing to die for me. It boggles the mind.�
^Shinta: �And he said he would watch over you, till you didn�t need to be looked over anymore. He seems to think I�ve done a pretty fair job for some reason.�
Tewyn: �What was your challenge?�
Claron nods her head back to Luna, �We will probably join you once we get a bite to eat.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows next to Luna thinking as he walks, �Guess I should give some of my abilities some practice while we�re at it. Just to make sure.�
Luna_Faline nods and waves, �See ya,� as I walk out.
^Shinta lowers his head, �And I�ve learnt in the time of watching over you, why he could give his heart away so easily.�
Luna_Faline: �Do you think you can use the shadows again?�
Tabris presses the buttons for the appropriate orders, then takes the plates out of the replicator. Walking over to the table that Stryder is at he sets them down.
Kat|e snorts, �You two sure have lousy taste in women.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Only one way to be sure,� Eclipse says and looks at Luna.
^Shinta: �That we will have to find out I guess.��
Clarice takes a deep breath, �I found myself in a chamber in a laboratory and just as quickly my father was there. He asked me to prove who I really was...then proceeded to show me tube after tube of my look-a-likes.�
^Shinta: �He says he will stay around as long as you like�till you find peace and then he would like to pass over to be back with his master.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You should probably walk outside, incase this doesn�t work or takes longer than usual.� Eclipse says to Luna as he locates a section of wall with some shade on it.
Kat|e reaches a hand up to touch the side of Shinta�s face gently. �Thank you. Both of you�for believing in me. Even when I�d lost the ability to believe in myself.�
Tewyn: �That had to be hard.�
Luna_Faline pauses watching him for a moment, �Okay,� softly as I turn and go on outside.
^Shinta: �Is what friends do, right?�
Kat|e: �And as for you, Mouse-boy. Go home. I�ve leaned on you long enough. Just�let me see you...hold you one last time?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse rests his hands on the shadowed section of wall. Closing his eyes it ripples and he sinks into it slowly.
Luna_Faline reaching the bottom of the ramp I pull my hood up and look around for Eclipse.
Clarice: �It was...I thought I knew who I was...but he managed to cause me to doubt myself�even now I wonder if I am the real�or if I was created.�
Tabris: �Just going to stand there, or you gonna dig in?� Tabris says to Claron as he looks at her from his spot at the table.
^Shinta: �Are you sure?�
Luna_Faline moves around Ettik to stare out at the ocean, wondering what my gift is.
Kat|e nods, wiping her eyes.
Claron takes a seat at the table. �Hope you slept well, Stryder,� taking her order of food from Tabris.
^Shinta nods, �If you are sure��
Kat|e stands up, and takes a deep breath.
Vin_Da_DM: The shadowy underbelly of the Ettik ripples for a moment before Eclipse flies out, landing a few feet away from Luna on his rear, �Well...I�ll have to work on my landings.�
^Shinta closes his eyes as Kyo appears his long red hair flowing standing in front of Kat|e.
Luna_Faline turns and sees Eclipse on the ground. Reaching a paw down to help him up �Out of practice?�
^Shinta: Kyo: �Its been a long time, McKinnon.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I guess�� Stryder says as he twirls his fork around on the tabletop, �This new ability takes a while to get used to��
Kat|e bites her lip, staring for a moment. �My Kyo. Thank you. For everything you�ve taught me and everything you�ve given me.� She starts to cry, �I�m always saying goodbye, dammit. But I think I can do this now.� She walks into his arms, laying her head on his chest.
Tewyn: �But you know who you really are...that�s what matters.�
Kat|e: �Who�s gonna call me that, now?� she whispers as her tears fall on his chest.
Vin_Da_DM: �That and a different body then I�m used to do that with,� Eclipse nods and takes her hand. Standing he dusts himself off.
Claron watches Stryder, �Giving you problems?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Might blow something up if I�m not careful�� Stryder says to his mother.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse for a moment, �It�s a balance thing, this body is bigger than your old one, so your balance center is off.�
^Shinta: Kyo: Wraps his arms around Kat|e, �You have a good man watching over you�
far better than I ever could�He has a good heart, he just wasn�t going to put himself first.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably. Hard to get the balance right in between locations,� Eclipse continues as he takes a few paces, �No real �up� and �down� in the realm.�
Kat|e nods, �Don�t sell yourself short. You did the best you could. I was a difficult subject. Poor bastard. Does he know what he�s letting himself in for?�
^Shinta: Kyo: �Its time you see what�s been in front of you, McKinnon.�
Claron: �I am sure you will learn to control it,� cutting a piece of her steak off.
Luna_Faline nods under my hood, �Just got to practice I suppose. Is it safe for you in the realm though? I don�t want you putting yourself in danger every time you do that.�
Tabris: �Wonder what abilities we got?� Tabris questions Stryder and Claron.
Kat|e: �Go home, Kyo. I will be just fine. Take my love and be at rest, finally.� She leans up to place a soft kiss on his jaw.
Clarice: �But I wonder who I am now and before I was more certain.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Should be fine, as long as I don�t spend too much time there this body won�t get damaged.� Eclipse sighs then looks back at Luna, �So...let�s try to find out what you can do that�s new.�
Luna_Faline takes a deep breath, �What should I do? I don�t feel any different, just nervous.�
^Shinta: Kyo: Wipes the tears from Kat|e�s eyes, �Do not cry for this Warrior�s soul...this is what I was born for. This is what destiny wrote out for me�Now, go write your own.�� fading out.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...any ideas about what you think it could be?� Eclipse questioningly glances at Luna.
Tewyn: �Look like the same person to me.�
Claron: �I haven�t got a clue as to what power I have,� looking back at Tabris.
Kat|e stands there, looking more than a little lost, tears still streaming. Then she wipes her face and turns to Shinta. �Thank you. I know�it must be hard.�� she bites her lip and looks at the ground.
Tabris: �Maybe we should experiment. But away from furniture and living things, wouldn�t want to do anything we�d regret.� Tabris says.
Luna_Faline shrugs shaking my head, �Not really.�
^Shinta gasps opening his eyes, �He...he is gone...I�m sorry.�
Claron eats more of steak, then nods her head in agreement. �Must be why Luna and Eclipse went outside.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...hmm,� Eclipse rubs his chin for a moment. The spines on his head extend as he does so.
Kat|e sniffles, �No. No sorry. He is where he wants to be. And I am glad.�
Luna_Faline giggles watching the spines stand up, �Don�t think too hard.�
Tabris: �Probably,� Tabris says muffled slightly as he eats a few more bites of food.
^Shinta: �He would appreciate that, I�m sure.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smirks at Luna, �Well, I guess it�s time to try anything then.�
Kat|e sinks back down onto the sand. �You must feel a little empty, now. He�s been with us for so long.� She stares at the waves again.
Clarice: �That�s just it. I look like the same person, but how do I know?�He could have made everything, including the memories and emotions the same.�
Tewyn shakes his head, �You can�t clone everything, no matter how hard you try.�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie notices a flock of winged reptiles glide across the waves about half a mile out from shore.
Luna_Faline sighs and takes the sai out of it�s sheath. I look around for something to throw it at. Spotting a large piece of driftwood down the beach a ways, I aim and throw it at the log.
^Shinta: �I guess...but it leaves room for someone else in my life now...I�ve been empty because I haven�t let myself live.�
Claron eats about half of her steak and takes a couple bites of her egg before placing the plate back on the tray, �Think I overestimated my appetite.�
Kat|e: �Funky birds,� she muses quietly.
Luna_Faline holds my breath waiting to see what happens.
Kat|e: �Funny,� she says softly, �That�s what I was told about me.�
Vin_ Da_DM: The sai sinks into the log without as much as a spark. Eclipse purses his lips, �Well...that didn�t do much.�
Clarice smiles at Tewyn, �Are you sure? Daddy-dearest was a brilliant man...I wouldn�t put anything past him.�
^Shinta: �Guess our paths were meant to cross then.�
Kat|e: The corner of her mouth lifts in a half-smile, �So it would seem.�
Tabris: �But not mine!� Tabris smirks as he pulls her plate over to him and finishes her meal.
Luna_Faline: �Odd,� I mutter as I motion toward it with my open paw, �The bad thing is�now, I have to go get it to try something else.�
Tewyn: �I�m sure...don�t you think implanted emotions would fade...and what about learning new ones?�
Vin_Da_DM: The sai shutters slightly in it�s spot in the log as Luna motions at it. Eclipse raises a brow.
Claron smiles as she watches Tabris finish her plate.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder watches Tabris and shakes his head, �I don�t understand how you can eat that much.�
^Shinta: �But I understand�I�m not quite the man Kyo was.�
Luna_Faline sees Eclipse�s look and stares at the sai, �What in the world?� still holding my paw out as I move closer.
Vin_Da_DM: The log begins to shake under the sai�s movement until the sai pops out and soars through the air into Luna�s palm.
Kat|e looks over at him. �Aren�t you?� she says quietly, �You have put up with much from me. A lesser man would have walked away.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Now, that looks promising�� Eclipse notes as he watches the sai.
Clarice ponders this for a moment. �You have a point there...I just wish I could be absolutely certain.�
Luna_Faline stops with my mouth open, �Oh, my Goddess,� as I stare at the sai in my paw, �How did that happen?�
^Shinta: �I�ve only watched from a distance, Kat|e and admired all I saw.�
Claron laughs, �Might be all the extra-curricular activities your father enjoys so much.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I think I have an idea�� Eclipse says as he walks over to Luna. �Let me see your sai.�
Tewyn: �You just have to believe.�
Luna_Faline hesitates for a second remembering what Mateus said, then hands it to Eclipse hilt first. �What do you have in mind?�
Kat|e: �Well, I hardly think there�s anything about me worth admiring. I�m a difficult woman with a very foul temper. Gift from my Da, you see.� She smirks, �But you have remained steadfast and constant in your friendship and affection. A girl couldn�t ask for more.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse takes it and takes a few steps backwards from Luna. Laying the sai in his open hand he looks at Luna, �Do what you were doing before again.�
Luna_Faline holds my paw out, looking at the sai. I hold my breath waiting to see what happens.
Tabris coughs on the last bit of food as Claron comments. Patting his chest he looks at her, �Ahem...fast metabolism.�
^Shinta: �Guess I�ll have to let you see it thru my eyes sometime.�
Clarice smiles weakly, �I guess I can try, that�s all I can do. You feel like taking a walk? Wouldn�t mind some fresh air.�
Vin_Da_DM: The sai sways a bit on Eclipse�s hand before sliding off and returning to Luna.
Tewyn: �I think a walk would be good.�
Luna_Faline squeals and runs to Eclipse tackling him to the sand, �That is awesome,� landing on him with a smile.
Claron laughs harder, �If you say so, dear.�
^Shinta: �Shall I leave you with your thoughts for a while?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse let�s out an �oof� as Luna tackles him then smiles back at her, �Impressive...now I want to try something else. You�ll have to move first, though.�
Kat|e smiles.
Kat|e: �No. I�ll�I�m fine.�
Luna_Faline pouts as I slowly slide off him and sit next to him, �What next?�
^Shinta: �Okay, then I�ll just stay here.�
Clarice smiles, �Great!� hopping out of bed and quickly dressing.
Vin_Da_DM: �Testing an idea,� Eclipse leans up and extends a hand for the sai, �Can I see it again?�
Luna_Faline hands it to Eclipse, �What are you going to do with it now?�
Kat|e leans back �So...your new power is letting out yer carry-on luggage. Wonder what I gained from all this, besides the ability to act a little more like a grownup and less like a petulant child.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse gets to his feet and takes a few steps. Placing the sai in his hand he tucks it behind his back and looks at Luna. �Try to get it to come to you again.�
^Shinta: �More than that...not just souls I carry...but any I see on this plane or the other that will come to my side.�
Luna_Faline holds out my paw again as I look at Eclipse, �Alright.�
Vin_Da_DM: Nothing happens when Luna extends her paw this time. Eclipse nods, �Thought so��
Kat|e nods, �Interesting.�
Tewyn gets out of bed, �In a hurry I see.�
^Shinta: �I guess so.�
Luna_Faline raises a brow at Eclipse and pictures the sai in my mind, still holding out my paw.
Claron turns her gaze toward Stryder, then looks back at Tabris, �Shall we clear the table and find the others? Or would you like to discuss anything concerning our time with Mateus?� shifting her gaze back to their son.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Luna then slowly moves the sai out from behind his back. As soon as it comes into Luna�s view it slides out from his hand and back to her waiting one.
Luna_Faline sighs as I close my paw around the sai, �Did it move at all when I couldn�t see it?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Clearing the table sounds fine,� Stryder stands and begins to stack everybody�s plates. His gaze focused on the task.
Clarice chuckles, �I could be persuaded quite easily to change my mind,� her eyes roving over her drow�s body.
Vin_Da_DM: �Nope. So, it�s a line of sight ability,� Eclipse says to Luna, �Last test would be the range.�
Tewyn: �Maybe another time...we need some air.�
^Shinta: �Guess you should see if you gained anything.�
Luna_Faline sighs, �How far do you plan on going?�
Claron gives Tabris a �guess he doesn�t want to talk about it� look.
Kat|e: �I suppose. But how would I know what to try for?� She eyes a can-like piece of debris half buried in the sand.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�d guess you can do it from as far away as you can still see it. Or at least can see where it is.� Eclipse says as he looks between Luna and her sai.
Kat|e picks up the can and dumps the sand out of it, then fills it back up, to pour it out once more.
Clarice sighs, �Alright, but I going to hold you to that,� smiles softly.
^Shinta: �Just search for a feeling deep inside you��
Luna_Faline nods and looks around for a moment, making sure no one is in the way. I throw the sai as hard and as far as I can down the beach.
Tewyn: �I�m sure you will.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse steps to the side of Luna as she throws it, �Now, just try to get it back.�
Luna_Faline takes a deep breath and holds out my paw staring at the sai.
Claron stands and moves toward the door with Tabris and Stryder.
Clarice slides her hand into Tewyn�s as they make their way out of their room and off the ship.
Vin_Da_DM: The sai slides across the sand for a second before becoming airborne and arcing upward from it�s spot in the sand towards Luna�s outstretched paw.
Tabris wraps an arm around Claron and Stryder as they walk to the door. �So, we know that you can blow things up apparently, son.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Seems that way. Small explosions though...I haven�t tried to blow up anything big.� Stryder says giving a shrug.
Luna_Faline smiles, �That was a pretty far ways off. I wonder if it�s just the sai?� tucking it back into the sheath on my thigh.
Tewyn: �So where we walking to?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...good question,� Eclipse says. Leaning down he picks up a medium sized rock and tosses it ahead of the both of them.
Luna_Faline watches Eclipse toss the rock then holds out my paw looking at the rock
Kat|e closes her eyes and �feels� inside herself, �Nope. Nothing.�
Vin_Da_DM: The rock reacts to Luna like a rock would, it does nothing.
^Shinta puts a hand on Kat|e�s shoulder, �Try again...I know you can do it.�
Luna_Faline sighs, �Well, I guess it was too much to ask.�
Clarice looks around as her and Tewyn step off Ettik.
Vin_Da_DM: �Maybe you�ll be able to move more things in time,� Eclipse shrugs and looks at Luna, �Never know.�
Luna_Faline grins hopefully, �And maybe with practice I�ll be able to do it with having to see it?�
Claron smiles as catches of glimpse of Clarice and Tewyn hand in hand before they disappear from her sight as they near the exit.
Vin_Da_DM: �Maybe,� Eclipse says and extends his hand toward the rock. A small black tendril reaches out of the rock�s shadow and drags it into oblivion. He grins with satisfaction, �Looks like I�m getting the rest back, slowly.�
Kat|e concentrates again, frowning.
Kat|e looks at the can hard, willing something to happen.
Luna_Faline smiles, �I�m glad for that. So, now what?�
Clarice: �A stroll along the beach would be nice,� stopping for a moment as she sees Luna and Eclipse.
^Shinta whispers in Kat|e�s ear, �You can do it.�
Vin_Da_DM: The can doesn�t seem to react to Katie at all before her necklace breaks off her neck and sticks to the side of the can.
Tewyn: �Yeah, you just want to get sand in my butt crack, don�t ya?�
Kat|e: �Son of a bitch. That was a gift from my mum.� She sighs, tears pooling.
^Shinta: �Hey, now, there will be none of that.�
Kat|e: �Well. That�ll be a great trick for parties, I guess.�
Clarice laughs, �Now, would I do something like that to you?�
Tewyn: �Hell yes, you would.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Up to you, we�ve got the rest of the day to spend.� Eclipse looks up at the sky, the sun rising slowly towards it�s position in the center of the sky.
Luna_Faline smiles, �Well, you did promise to teach me to swim,� dropping my cloak on the sand.
Vin_Da_DM: �Okay. Sounds good,� Eclipse slips off his shirt and walks into the water. �Not sure how good a teacher I�ll be, but I�ll try.�
Clarice: �I promise, I won�t...even though it does sound tempting,� laughing some more. �Actually, I thought we might find a spot that would could try out whatever the new powers we have received.�
Luna_Faline walks into the water slowly getting used to it. �You did a good job last night.�
Tabris looks around as he exits with Stryder and Claron, �So...guess we should find ourselves a spot.�
Kat|e sighs and pockets her necklace.
Tewyn: �Guess we could do that.�
Claron nods her head in agreement with Tabris, �Pick a spot for us, Stryder.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods and jumps into the water, taking a few strokes before stopping. Standing up the water comes to just below his shoulder as he looks at Luna. �Come out as far as you can.�
Clarice: �Aren�t you curious as to what they might be?�
^Shinta: �Well, it was a start.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at his parents then shimmers out. Reappearing in a dirt patch besides the beach with some logs he nods then shouts over, �This looks good!�
Tewyn: �I guess I am.�
Kat|e snorts.
Luna_Faline stops a couple feet away from Eclipse the water around my neck, �Okay.� Feels the water making me float a bit off my feet.
Kat|e: �Great. I can make art, now. �Yay, for me.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Now, you should feel like your floating a bit,� Eclipse says watching Luna, �Next step is to move so that you keep floating.�
^Shinta: �That can be a skillful trade,� poking at Kat|e.
Clarice and Tewyn continue to walk along the shoreline. �This looks like a good spot to me,� glancing around to make sure none of the others are near them.
Kat|e pokes him back, giggling. �Watch it. I�m ticklish!�
Tabris looks at Claron as he walks along the edge of the beach towards where Stryder is.
Claron: �Looks like he has found the perfect place,� as her and Tabris move towards Stryder.
Luna_Faline tries to take another step toward Eclipse, but as my feet float out from under me, my head goes under and I come up spitting, �Oh, my Goddess.�
^Shinta: �Really now?� giving her a Remy like look.
Tewyn: �Well, its secluded.�
Vin_Da_DM Eclipse moves over to Luna and helps hold her, �Ever seen an animal swim, Luna?�
Kat|e starts to scoot away from the evil glint in his eye.
Luna_Faline wipes my wet mane out of my eyes, �I never really paid attention before.�
Clarice smiles, �That it is...you try first.�
Vin_Da_DM: From the bridge of the Ettik, Alexei watches the group spread out across the nearby area. He nods in agreement, �Looks like they�re having fun and trying out some new tricks.�
Tewyn stands there patting his foot, �What am I supposed to do?�
Claron and Tabris reach Stryder, �Perfect,� as she stops next to Stryder.
^Shinta pokes at Kat|e again.
Kat|e squeals and falls over backwards, scuttling away.
Tabris: �All right,� Tabris rubs his hands together, �I have no idea what we�re going to try to find out about our powers..�
Luna_Faline begins to get butterflies, �Maybe we can just wait and do this some other time?� hanging onto Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smirks at Luna, �Not one for the water? That�s fine��
Clarice: �Hell if I know...maybe you should just try using the power you all ready have,� chuckles as she tosses an ice dagger into the water.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse swims over to the swallow water so that Luna can stand up and walk on the bottom.
Tewyn concentrates and forms statue after statue out of the sand. �Hmm, that didn�t seem to change.�
Claron looks at her husband and son, �Well, who wants to go first?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I already know how mine works,� Stryder says as he flings a hand out causing a bit of dirt to explode into dust.
Clarice stands back watching, �Hmm, try again.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, swimming lessons are on hold. What do you want to do now?� Eclipse says as he walks out of the water and grabs his shirt.
Tabris looks at Claron with a shrug, �Ladies first, I guess.�
Tewyn taps his foot a bit more and the ground starts to rumble, �Nope, there just isn�t any change.�
Kat|e looks up at Shinta. �Yer just evil, Mr. You.� She laughs.
^Shinta: �Me? Evil...now how can you say such a thing?�
Luna_Faline shivers as Eclipse walks away, suddenly cold. �I thought that was pretty nice,� as I walk toward my cloak holding out my paw, hoping it will react.
Claron smiles, �Yes, we can see that,� as she looks around for something to manipulate gravity on, �Tabris, how bout making me an obsidian statue over there?� pointing her finger at spot away from them.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse leans over and picks up Luna�s cloak and hands it to her.
Kat|e smirks, �Gee, I just don�t know�� She nudges him with her foot.
Clarice: �There has to be something. We just got to figure out what.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Okay,� Tabris lifts his hands and tosses an obsidian block over towards the spot. It lands and forms a little stick-figure like statue.
Luna_Faline growls a little bit as the cloak doesn�t come. �Thanks,� as I take it from Eclipse and slip it on. �I suppose I just have to keep trying.�
^Shinta: �I could never be evil...I don�t think anyway.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Practice makes perfect, or so they say.� Eclipse say to Luna.
Claron looks at the obsidian figure and begins to concentrate on it.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder sits down on a nearby log and watches Claron.
Kat|e: �It was a figure of speech, dearlin.�
Vin_Da_DM: The statue starts to flake from Claron�s usual powers crushing against it.
Luna_Faline nudges his side, �Well, practice has certainly made perfect some other things.� I grin as I walk away swishing my tail slowly.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse gives Luna a few paces to walk away as he watches her from behind giving a silent nod to himself. ~That it does.~ He catches up with Luna and walks beside her.
^Shinta: �Yeah, I know.�
Luna_Faline sees Eclipse move next to me and laughs as I take off running down the beach, �Catch me if you can,� I yell.
Tabris: �That doesn�t seem to be doing much, Hun.� Tabris says to Claron as he watches the statue, �Try harder.�
Kat|e: �Well, and you don�t think tickling me is evil? Hmmm, methinks you need lessons.� She sits up and shoves him backward playfully.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, I�ll catch you!� Eclipse sprints after Luna.
^Shinta falls backwards. �Oh, and what are you going to teach me?�
Luna_Faline lets my cloak fly off me as I run faster, laughs as it flies back into Eclipse�s face.
Claron: �Hmmm, okay.� Looks back at the statue and begins to concentrate harder.
Tewyn: �Well, I�m a no go...why don�t you give it a try?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse bats the cloak from his face then laughs, �Foul play will get you nowhere!�
Clarice: �What about if you go underground, Tewyn?�
Kat|e: �How to eat my dust!� She laughs, scrambling to her feet and kicking up sand in the process, and tearing off down the beach.
Vin_Da_DM: As Claron concentrates she can feel a low hum in her mind slowly building.
Tewyn: �There just isn�t anything...everything feels the same.�
^Shinta spits out the sand and starts chasing Kat|e.
Luna_Faline looks back over my shoulder to see how close Eclipse is and gets a foot tangled in some sea weed. Tumbles to the ground laughing and out of breath.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder tilts his head at Claron, almost as if sensing something as she is testing her powers.
Kat|e squeals and tries to run faster, nearly tripping, which slows her down.
Claron feels a new sensation and continues to concentrate, trying to increase the sound of the humming in her mind, as the humming seems to increase in pitch, she sudden brings her arms up and pushes her hands forward in the air.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse tries to slow down but ends up tripping over Luna and landing on the ground. Rolling over he spits out some sand and places a hand on her shoulder, �Caught you.�
^Shinta grabs Kat|e, �GOTCHA!!� and starts tickling her.
Kat|e: �Nooooooooooo!� she howls, laughing and squirming.
Luna_Faline smiles, �You caught me a long time ago,� laying back to catch my breath I watch the clouds.
Vin_Da_DM: The hum in Claron�s mind becomes more constant and steady. A spherical section of the air in front of her hands begins to bend ever so slightly, giving away it�s appearance faintly.
^Shinta: �Give up yet?�
Clarice: �Okay, I�ll give it a try.� Clarice starts to concentrate on the moisture in the air and the water in front of them.
Kat|e: �Hell no!� She plants her hands in the middle of his chest and tries to shove him away, panting.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches the clouds as well his breaths getting lighter after takes a few deep breaths.
Tabris: �I�m starting to see something,� Tabris says pointing towards the air near Claron�s hands.
^Shinta: �Well, if that�s the case.� Lets her go and lets Remy appear in front of her while she is still looking at him.
Luna_Faline moves closer and rests my head on Eclipse�s chest. �This is almost as nice as being home,� I purr.
Kat|e: �You fink!� She laughs, �You cheated!�
^Shinta: �Now it seems you are surrounded,� giving her a smile.
Kat|e: �Hmm...am I now?...And what is it you do to your prisoners, Captain?� her eyes sparkle, her breath still coming in gasps.
Vin_Da_DM: �It is,� Eclipse sighs, �For me home is wherever I am.�
^Shinta takes a step closer looking into her eyes.
Claron can hear Tabris� voice faintly as she concentrates with all her might extending her hands out in a quick jabbing motion towards the statue.
Kat|e pants, her eyes glowing.
Luna_Faline sits up and looks down into his bright blue eyes, �You have a place with me now,� I purr.
^Shinta: �Well, I let them catch their breath first.�
Vin_Da_DM: The spherical section of air becomes more visible as it flies forward and surrounds the statue causing it to hover above the ground inside a semi-transparent bubble.
Kat|e curls a fist up in his lapel and pulls him down, �Well, that ruins the element of surprise, now doesn�t it?� She asks, brushing a soft kiss across his lips.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suppose I do,� Eclipse smiles at Luna, �And what a beautiful place it is.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder nods approvingly at Claron�s power, �Looks like you�ve got it.�
^Shinta caresses her cheek and returns the kiss but more deeply before pulling away for a moment. �So I can see if I can take it away again.�
Tabris: �We�ve got a bubble, now what you do with it?� Tabris says as he looks at the hovering statue.
Kat|e smiles up at him. �Mmm, well, I think you do that just fine.�
^Shinta frowns, �And here I was hoping for more practice.�
Luna_Faline blushes and lays back down. �Where do you think we go from here?�
Kat|e: �Oh, I think more practice is definitely needed.� She pulls him down beside her in the sand.
Claron gasps as she looks at the statue inside the bubble.
^Shinta lays beside Kat|e holding her close.
Kat|e smiles at him wrapping an arm around his waist.
Vin_Da_DM: �Personally or as Warriors?� Eclipse says, trying to clarify the question.
Claron concentrates on the gravity inside the bubble increasing it slowly.
Clarice continues watching as the water begins to freeze. �Well, that ain�t nothing new,� as she glances back at Tewyn.
^Shinta: �Seems today has been very eventful,� kissing her again.
Vin_Da_DM: The statue inside the sphere begins to crumble for a few seconds then it crushes itself into non-existence in the next second. The sphere �pops� and disappears.
Luna_Faline sits up, lotus style. Watches the ocean for a moment before answering. �Warriors.�
Tewyn: �Well, you had to get something.�
Clarice: �But what?�
Kat|e: �Mmmm, that it has.� She presses her body close to him.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suppose we�ll find out. We usually run across someone or thing that sets us on track,� Eclipse says as he sits up.
Tewyn: �Guess it will have to be found.�
Tabris jumps a bit as it crushes the statue then disappears, �Oh...that was fast.�
^Shinta: �But I don�t think I�ve ever felt more alive.�
Luna_Faline nods slightly, �And us?� holding my breath for his response.
Kat|e: �Funny. I thought you were feeling more...of me.� She grins.
^Shinta: �Well, the day is not over yet.�
^Shinta caresses her face and hair.
Kat|e: �If we do this all day I�m going to need an energy bar,� she giggles.
Claron watches as the statue begins to crumble then crushes. As she hears the pop she collapses to the ground.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suppose this will last as long as we both want it to,� Eclipse looks at Luna and reaches over to caress her cheek, �And I don�t see myself changing my mind anytime soon.�
^Shinta: �I think we both might.�
Tabris kneels down to Claron, �Babe? You ok?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder hops off his log and rushes the few steps to where Claron is on the ground.
Luna_Faline releases my breath as a tear rolls slowly down one cheek. �I hope you never change your mind.�
Kat|e: �You ain�t complainin� now, are ya, Shaman?� she coos at him, �And could you reel your inner child back in?� hooks a thumb at Remy. �I feel like a peepshow.�
Claron looks up at Tabris, her face pale. �I�I�that thing...it was like that in the challenge...only the creature did it.�
^Shinta: �I�d never complain about this,� waving a hand Remy disappears.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse wipes her tear away as he moves in closer to Luna, �I hope you don�t either.� He closes his eyes and kisses Luna.
Clarice stands shaking her head, �I don�t understand...Nothing seems to have changed for you or I,� as she turns to face Tewyn.
Kat|e rolls over on top of him. �Y�know...you�re so much more fun without that pole up your ass.� She purrs in his ear, before kissing him deeply again.
Tewyn: �I�m sure it will show up in time.�
Luna_Faline sinks into Eclipse�s kiss, feeling lost and found at the same time.
^Shinta returns the kiss and grabs her butt, �Damn, Remy was right...you do have a firm ass.�
Tabris: �Looks like you can do it too,� Tabris says as he helps Claron up.
Kat|e gasps, �That lil pervert better keep his eyeballs off my ass, thank you.� But she giggles.
Kat|e: �As well as his paws.� She nibbles his neck.
Claron looks fearful. �I�m going to have to be very careful with this power.�
Kat|e pulls back. �I�m a little warm. Wanna go for a swim?�
^Shinta: �He will...I�ll make sure of it.�
Kat|e stands and begins to peel down to her underclothes.
Clarice: �I hope so. You�d think it be something simple to figure out.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Join the club,� Stryder adds in response to Claron�s comment.
^Shinta adjusts his collar, �Yeah, its got a bit hot out here.�
Kat|e gives him a saucy wink over her shoulder, �Just a bit?�
Vin_Da_DM: Finally releasing the kiss Eclipse grins at Luna.
Tewyn: �Well, lets hope its simple.�
^Shinta tries to advert his eyes, �Okay, ALOT!�
Claron nods her head, �Looks like its your turn, Tab.�
Kat|e turns around and walks backward into the surf, crooking her finger at him.
Tabris: �Guess it is,� Tabris says as he looks around for something to practice on.
Luna_Faline panting heavily I open my eyes, finding him staring at me. �Yes?�
^Shinta lets his robe drop and walks toward the water.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, nothing...just letting this moment last as long as it can. Who knows when it�ll come around again.� Eclipse says to Luna.
Kat|e�s eyes widen, but she keeps eye contact.
Tewyn: �Or maybe we don�t have the right environment for it to be active.�
Clarice moves closer to Tewyn. �Well, if it is simple, we should be able to figure it out.�
Kat|e feels the water close over her hips, and turns, diving under the water.
Tabris: �Hmm�any ideas, Claron?� Tabris looks slightly confused as to what he should be doing.
Clarice: �Maybe.�
Tewyn: �We will figure it out when we need to.�
^Shinta wades further out into the water.
Claron smiles, �I guess you should start with what you can already do. That�s what I did.�
Tabris: �Easy enough,� Tabris lifts a hand and forms a few obsidian shards that hover around in front of him.
Luna_Faline purrs, �Considering how old we both are, I hope we have a few thousand more years worth,� my green eyes sparkling.
Clarice nods her head, then smiles slyly. �So, bout that promise I made just a little while ago��
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Tabris as he works his powers, ~Think about what happened in the challenge...that might help.~
Kat|e surfaces, smiling and shakes the water from her hair.
Tewyn: �And what promise would that be?�
^Shinta: �So has the water cooled you off?� wading around.
Claron: ~Great suggestion,~ smiling at Stryder.
Kat|e: �MmmHmm,� she grins, swimming up to him to wrap her arms around his neck. �Wanna warm me up, again?�
^Shinta: �Now how can I dare say no to that,� kissing her deeply again.
Tabris looks at Stryder and nods wearily, �Hmmm.�� Remembering the images from his challenge he shakes his head. Grabbing one of the shards he tosses at one of the logs.
Clarice looks down at the sand as she moves some of it with her foot, �Ummm��
Vin_Da_DM: The shard hits the log and turns into lava equal in amount to the shard�s size. The lava burns through the log and into the ground, leaving some flames and smoke before it dissipates.
Tabris raises a brow, �That�s new��
Kat|e just floats in his arms, kissing him once in a while, but mostly just holding him.
^Shinta looks into her eyes, �So, how do you feel?�
Kat|e thinks for a moment.
Tewyn: �Oh, your not gonna be putting that down my pants.�
Kat|e: �Free.�
^Shinta: �That is a good way to feel.�
Kat|e nods, smiling.
Vin_Da_DM: �That shouldn�t be a problem�� Eclipse says then glances at Luna, �Finding another body after this one gets too old, is the only problem I can see.�
Claron watches as the shard turns into lava. �Sure hope this means your not going be too hot to handle from now on,� chuckles as she looks at Tabris.
Kat|e: �I feel like the weight I�ve carried for so long has finally lightened enough that it�s not going to break me.�
Tabris: �I hope not,� Tabris reaches up and feels his forehead just to be sure.
^Shinta: �It was never your burden to bare�I�m glad you have realized that.�
Clarice laughs, �Wasn�t exactly thinking about putting it down your pants.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder chuckles to himself watching his Dad, turning to the flames he waves his hand around causing explosions in the air to put them out.
Tewyn: �Well, that�s good to know.�
Luna_Faline frowns slightly, �I never thought about that, maybe Mistress can do something about that. If we manage to save Aventine and her, that is.� Running a paw over his spines.
Kat|e: �I carried my guilt like armor. It protected me from having to feel. But it also blocked me from living to my fullest potential.�
Vin_Da_DM: �We�ll be able to save it, I know it.� Eclipse says confidently.
^Shinta: �Well, you better make up for some last time then.�
Clarice: �Was thinking more like you might keep the promise you made me this morning.�
Kat|e kisses the tip of his nose. �Oh, I kinda like going slow and easy. The anticipation can only heighten the payoff, don�t you think?�
Tewyn: �Oh, is that so...well, guess I have to keep a promise.�
^Shinta: �I have to agree...no need to rush at all.�
Clarice smiles as she leans in to kiss Tewyn.
Kat|e leans up to capture his mouth with hers in a searing, soul-healing kiss.
Luna_Faline leans over and claims his lips for another kiss, �I�m glad your so confident.�
Kat|e: �So in-sync with one another,� she murmurs. �This is gonna be something else.��
^Shinta smiles at her, �Just truly amazing.�
Claron stands up and moves closer to Tabris.
Tewyn: �Lets get back to the ship, to work on that promise.�
Clarice smiles as she slips her arm around Tewyn�s waist and they head back towards the ship.
Vin_Da_DM: The day wears on and the sun blazes its fiery path across the azure sky overhead as the Warriors continue to enjoy their rest and relaxation by the ocean-side.
Vin_Da_DM: Further up the coast the Guardian stands alone on a seaside cliff, watching the horizon as he leans against his massive spear stuck in the ground. Producing a small device from his torso he holds it up in front of himself.
Vin_Da_DM: The device hovers and expands into a holographic window. General Neroosh of Selenia�s War Council appears on the display, �It�s begun,� he says firmly. The Guardian nods then looks past the display at the horizon again as the device closes and returns to his torso.
