Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Forced into a temporary alliance with Black Inferno, the Warriors followed him to an empty area where he opened a portal to another world. Traveling across a red grass they headed for a small lizard-men village.
Vin_Da_DM: Suggesting that the group get a guide, Black Inferno continued ahead by himself. Remembering previous visits to the village Eclipse decided to seek out an old friend. Taking Luna and Shinta with him the others waited for them while Midnight and Fern entertained the village children.
Vin_Da_DM: Meeting Eclipse�s friend Skellech, the village prophet, he agreed to guide them across the Plains to the lands controlled by the �evil ones�, beyond which lay the temple where Bronze intended to resurrect the long dead sorceress.
Vin_Da_DM: With a red grass field beneath them the group made their way across the branches of the giant long dead trees. Unfortunately a natural phenomenon known as the �burning winds� showed up sooner than expected.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time Passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: The giant wave of a fire is spreading across the tree-filled plains soaring through the air towards you. As it engulfs the giant trees several layers of wood are burned off in the process. �This way, quickly,� Skellech waves you towards the next tree and its branches.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Luna_Faline follows Skellech quickly across the branches.
Luna_Faline: �How much farther?�
Vin_Da_DM: �How fast can you run, young one?� Skellech calls out as he moves ahead, going faster than he looked like he could.
Kat|e scampers along, her eyes darting to the wave of heat worriedly.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks to the side, �Let�s hope it�s not that far��
Clarice�s eyes catch a glimpse of the burning fireball coming towards them before she starts running after Skellech.
Luna_Faline: �If I knew the path I would be gone already,� as I run behind him.
Tabris: �Well, you heard the man, kids. I�m not in the mood for a tan right now,� Tabris shouts as he grabs Claron�s hand.
Clarissa�s eyes grow wide, �OH, Stryder shimmer us somewhere quick!�
Vin_Da_DM: The rising heat rouses Lilly from her spot slung over Black Inferno�s shoulder.
^Lilly^: Shaking my head as I look around, �Where�whoo?� Immediately I start banging on the back of Black Inferno.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, I�d love to...but around here I�d be liable to drop us straight into the soup.� Stryder says as he runs besides Clarissa.
Clarissa: ~I don�t wanna be soup!~
Vin_Da_DM: �Will you knock that off! Or would you prefer I drop you?� Black Inferno growls as he strides across the lava field, flames writhing around his feet but leaving him unharmed.
Clarissa keeps up with Stryder.
^Lilly^�s eyes grow large as the flames come into view, �Where are the others?�
Clarice glances behind her to see where Tewyn, ^Shinta and Kat|e are.
Vin_Da_DM: �My guess would be up above somewhere...soon to be extra crispy if they don�t hurry.� Black Inferno smirks as he glances over Lilly�s waist to look at her, �Don�t worry your pretty little head off, the flame will not harm us.�
^Lilly^: Rolling my eyes, �You just be careful where you put your hands.�
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech slides down the branch and rounds the next tree as the burning winds draw closer, searing the wood off the giant trees in the next row over.
Luna_Faline stays right behind Skellech as we move to the next tree.
Clarice chills herself as she races down behind Skellech and Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now then...ahh, there it is!� Skellech points up ahead as he looks around at two branches sloping down towards the ground below, �Down there, and we should be safe!�
Claron feels the heat as she and Tabris follow the others.
Clarissa and Stryder follow closely behind their parents.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, this will be the most exciting visit I�ve had here,� Eclipse says as he runs besides Luna.
Tabris: Looking over at Claron Tab smirks, �Guess we�ll have to add �giant wall of fire� to the list of disasters we�ve faced, Hunny.�
Luna_Faline glances over at Eclipse, �I hope this is the only visit I have here in this life time,� wiping sweat off my forehead as I run.
Kat|e hurries along, looking toward their exit route frantically.
Claron smirks, �Great...we could be toast.�
^Lilly^: Trying to readjust herself, �Look, you are really starting to hurt me...how much longer until we get to somewhere where I can walk???�
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech begins his descent down the branches as the Guardian sprints along the path below and ahead of them.
Vin_Da_DM: �You want to walk do you?� Black Inferno pulls Lilly off his shoulder and tosses her ahead, landing her face first into a pile of red dirt a few feet from the edge of the lava field.
^Lilly^: Looking down at the lava field before turning around to look at Black Inferno, �Look, I was only asking.� Scoffing as I lift myself up.
Vin_Da_DM: At the bottom of the branches the path a stretch of earth runs along between the trees. A few yards ahead is a covered section of the walkway where the Guardian stands underneath it looking back.
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech hits the ground and looks behind for a second, �Now is the time for running fast, young ones. To your metal friend.�
Luna_Faline reaching a lower branch I jump down to the path and move to stand next to Guardian.
Vin_Da_DM: The wall of flame begins to burn the branches of the giant trees you are walking on, getting closer and making it hotter.
Kat|e sprints carefully the last bit, then as soon as she can, jumps down and runs like hell to the walkway.
Tabris: �Phew...sweating off those pounds,� Tabris wipes his brow as he follow the group.
Clarice hears Skellech just as she spots the Guardian down below and continues running.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suggest you stand back, girl. Less you want to roast that skinny body of yours.� Black Inferno grins as he turns to face the flame wall.
^Lilly^: Glaring as I move back next to Black Inferno, �You really should learn some manners.�
Claron and Tabris follow after the others towards the walkway.
Luna_Faline asks Guardian, �How far ahead is Inferno?�
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech dashes under the covering before pausing and looking back to the others.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not far...I believe that is him and Lilly over there.� Extending a finger Guardian points to a spot along the edge of the lava a few hundred feet to the side.
Vin_Da_DM: �Manners? Funny suggestion coming from you, girl.� Inferno turns his head to Lilly.
Luna_Faline follows his finger to see Lilly being protected from the flames by Inferno.
^Lilly^: Glaring, �What�s that supposed to mean? I have wonderful manners.�
Clarissa and Stryder follow after them. Clarissa keeps up with Stryder�s pace, then dashes quickly towards the Guardian.
Vin_Da_DM: The flames hit the side of the covered area with a gusting sound of winds. Oddly enough the wood structure shows no sign of damage as the fire hits it. Black Inferno kicks Lilly further back onto the ground besides the lava as the trailing side-edge of the wave hits him, absorbing into him.
^Lilly^: Glaring up at Black Inferno, �You realize that HURT????�
Kat|e watches as the flames descend, shivering at the thought that she could have been caught in that.
Vin_Da_DM: Steaming, Black Inferno steps onto the dirt and grins, �I told you to step back. Perhaps your �manners� should have listened.�
^Lilly^ sighs as I get back up, �I did stand back. But you could have said nicely to get down...instead of kicking me down!�
Vin_Da_DM: �You wanted to walk...now is your chance,� Inferno strides past Lilly heading into the rocky cracked-dirt desert-like landscape beyond the trees.
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech looks outside with a nod, �The burning winds have passed. We can continue without trouble to the evil ones� land.�
^Lilly^: Rolling my eyes as I follow Black Inferno past the landscape, �You really do need to get some manners. Its no wonder you have no friends.�
Claron wipes the sweat from her brow, �I hope never to see burning winds again.�
Luna_Faline: �I can only hope there is no more trouble,� as I step out of the shelter.
Vin_Da_DM: �Strange that they came so soon...the winds normally travel at the same time every day.� Skellech shakes his head, �Come along then.�
Clarissa slows her pace, smiles as Stryder catches up to her once again.
Vin_Da_DM: As Skellech heads down the path the Guardian follows beside him, surveying the landscape as he walks.
Vin_Da_DM: �That was something new,� Stryder looks at Clarissa.
Tabris: �I can do without the winds too. Might be good for cooking meat though,� Tabris smirks as he leaves the covered area with Claron.
Luna_Faline moves over to Eclipse, �Does that sound like it could have been a trap?� I whisper.
Clarice moves closer to Tewyn, smiling as she sees ^Shinta near Kat|e slowing their pace behind the others.
Vin_Da_DM: �Could have been...who knows what Bronze has been up to,� Eclipse looks at Luna cautiously.
Tewyn keeps walking along.
Kat|e walks along, strangely silent.
Clarissa wonders what changed the pattern of the burning winds. ~Can�t say I liked it.~
Luna_Faline: �What do you know about this Bronze person?�
Vin_Da_DM: Black Inferno glances around as he and Lilly walk. Quietly he draws his red-bladed sword and narrows his gaze. �Hmm...fresh fodder nearby.�
^Lilly^: Grabbing a dagger, following Inferno�s lead. �Fodder?� whispers.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not much. Only heard about him over the years,� Eclipse shrugs a bit, �Recent addition, it�s been a long time since I was one of them, after all.�
^Shinta walks along behind the others.
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes...smelly ones. Demons, no doubt.� Black Inferno glances around, �They�ll leave us be...your friends might not be so lucky.�
Luna_Faline takes Eclipses hand, �And I�m very glad your not one of them anymore,� giving his hand a squeeze.
^Lilly^: Raising an eyebrow, �Then we need to warn them��
Vin_Da_DM: �You�re not the only one.� Smiling lightly Eclipse watches Luna�s eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �If you wish,� Black Inferno turns his head to look at Lilly, �If you survive, that is.�
^Lilly^: �What do you mean IF I survive?� raising an eyebrow.
Vin_Da_DM: �A tender young thing like you, a veritable appetizer for the creatures that come from corrupted lands such as this,� Black Inferno chuckles, �Perhaps you�ll be lucky and just loose a limb.�
Luna_Faline as I raise my face and smile at Eclipse I catch a whiff of something in the air. Looking around quickly, �Do you smell that?� I whispurr.
^Shinta walks up behind Kat|e, �The stunned silent look doesn�t suit you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �My sensors are detecting erratic life signs in the vicinity,� Guardian looks back at Luna and �blinks�, �It is probably what you are smelling.�
^Lilly^: Glaring, �I thought you were here to �protect� me. Besides, I have been around long enough to learn how to take care of myself...and I�ve fought demons and many other foul creatures.�
Claron: �Not sure if our being separated from Black Inferno is a good thing,� says to Tabris then gasps as she realizes she hasn�t seen the halfling with the group, �What happened to Lilly?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm?� Eclipse sniffs the air, �Foul...of course this whole places smells bad to me, but they�re slightly worse.�
Clarissa listens while they continue walking along.
Luna_Faline: �I don�t like this,� looking around again, �Feels like we�re walking into a trap.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well then. Run off, warn your friends. Keep going and perhaps we�ll meet at the other end of this desert.� Black Inferno grins as he shoulders his large sword.
^Lilly^: Turning and then looking back at Black Inferno, �And what if I�d rather stay with you?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then you should stay close and shut up,� Inferno says as he continues to walk.
Kat|e turns to look at Shinta, �Says you. I�m still a little shook up from almost being broiled alive.�
Kat|e starts walking again.
^Shinta: �You�ve been through worse.�
Vin_Da_DM: �There�s only way to know if it�s a trap for sure,� Eclipse says hesitantly, �We�ll have to spring it.�
^Lilly^: Rolling my eyes and keeping up, �You really have no right to tell me to shut up.�
Clarice walks quietly alongside of Tewyn.
Kat|e: �Doesn�t mean it doesn�t affect me.�
Luna_Faline: �What do you have in mind?�
Vin_Da_DM: Inferno shakes his head, �Tell that to the demons then. Or with luck, they are deaf and will be spared your annoying chatter.�
^Lilly^: �I am not annoying.�
^Shinta: �Affect yes, scare silent...never saw that very often...was more cursing the whole way to safety.�
Kat|e: �Hmph. Well, I�m not the same girl I once was. I�ve lived a whole other life since then.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Going to warn your friends or shut up and follow?� Inferno glances over his shoulder at Lilly.
^Shinta: �Yes, I know that...but some things should never change,� falling back a bit.
^Lilly^: Sighing, �I�m following, but I�m not going to shut up unless I feel I want to shut up. I don�t follow any orders from enemies such as you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...I�m not sure. But a fight is likely,� Eclipse says to Luna.
Luna_Faline nods, �I was afraid you�d say that,� sighing.
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech glances around as he walks ahead, �Be careful, young ones. The creatures here can attack without notice at any moment.�
Kat|e: �And some people shouldn�t die and leave me to carry on alone,� she whispers to herself.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder blinks as he scans the area, �Brown, red, rocks and ugly. Bad guys never live anywhere nice.�
^Shinta looks up toward Kat|e remaining silent.
Clarissa watches her brother as she hones in her hearing and smelling senses.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian rotates a section of his spear and it slides and reforms into a large axe, �Several dozen...hmm...that�s odd.�
^Lilly^: Growing silent she continues to follow closely behind Black Inferno. Her thoughts turn to the group and Clarissa, �Wish I knew if this would work.� Forming her thoughts around what Black Inferno had said about the demons and willing Clarissa to hear her thoughts.
Claron watches the Guardian as he reforms his spear, �What?...Several dozen what?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Several dozen of the unknown life signs, but I�m detecting a humanoid one with them.� Guardian motions with his axe toward a group of rocks in a ragged circle ahead and to the west, �Among those rocks...perhaps a camp.�
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech listens to the Guardian as he looks towards the rocks, �I have heard of camps around here. Those few brave enough to trade with the evil ones speak of them.�
Clarissa knows the demons are out there, tilts her head as if there is something more.
Luna_Faline: �Maybe we can sneak by with them noticing us,� quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Your friends are a fair distance behind�� Inferno glances behind for a second before continuing, �They�ll have company soon��
^Lilly^: Looking up at Inferno, �What�s that supposed to mean? And why aren�t we waiting for them?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Maybe...if they don�t already know we�re here,� Eclipse nods to Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: �If they are true Warriors, they will survive. If not, I�d consider it a service weeding out the weak,� Inferno laughs.
^Lilly^: Rolling my eyes, �You could really use a life change.� Moving right beside him, �And maybe a girlfriend��
Tewyn keeps going along.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hah! Are you offering yourself to me, little girl? Do you truly think you could satisfy me?� Inferno chuckles at her.
^Shinta looks around, �Wish this trip was shorter.�
^Lilly^: Looking disgusted, �You couldn�t make me sicker. What gave you the idea that I was offering myself to you. God, I have better taste than that.�
Kat|e sighs and keeps walking, looking around her warily.
Clarissa shakes her head slightly, then glances over towards Stryder briefly as they walk.
Vin_Da_DM: �We can avoid them if we are careful...but the humanoid life sign looks out of place,� Guardian says as they keep going.
Vin_Da_DM: �Out of place? Perhaps they have taken a prisoner�� Skellech adds as he listens to the Guardian.
Vin_Da_DM: Inferno smirks, then glances ahead. �Hmm...perhaps these creatures are dumber than I expected.�
Luna_Faline: �I can only think of one way to find out,� glancing over my shoulder at Shinta, �Maybe one of his spirits could go have a look?�
^Lilly^ grins, �Gave them more credit, did you?�
^Shinta looks at Luna_Faline, �And why would I do that?�
Vin_Da_DM: �How unfortunate for them,� Black Inferno lowers his sword as he eyes the pack of horned demons approaching him and Lilly, �Shall I spare one for you?�
Clarissa hears Luna_Faline�s question, ~Might work.~
^Lilly^: Grinning as I ready my daggers, �Are you offering out of pity?�
Luna_Faline: �It was just a thought, they would not be seen,� shrugging.
^Shinta: �True, but I would think we have more pressing matters at hand at the moment.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Merely offering you a bit of fun, girl.� Inferno dashes a few steps forward giving his sword a quick slice forward. All but one of the demons topple in half and burn to charred husks.
^Lilly^: Grinning as she tosses two of her daggers right at the remaining demon�s chest,� �Why thanks...I do enjoy a bit of fun��
Luna_Faline sighs and turns away.
Vin_Da_DM: Inferno kicks one of the bodies as he nods, �Then perhaps there is hope for this little alliance of ours.�
^Lilly^: Raising an eyebrow as I walk over and grab my daggers, �Alliance, which would you be referring to by the way?�
Tabris glances around, half-pay attention to the group, �Blasted bad guys...can�t even have a nice R&R break without them dragging us to evil wastelands.�
Claron halfheartedly chuckles, �OH...what happened to chalking up new experiences?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Very well...the rest of you proceed to follow the guide. I will investigate myself,� the Guardian grips his axe and begins to divert himself towards the camp hidden in the rocks.
Luna_Faline nods and watches Guardian move away, �Be careful.�
Tabris: �Oh, I�m still keeping track,� Tabris nods then sighs a bit, �How about an evil beach resort? Or maybe a evil ski chalet?�
Claron watches as the Guardian moves away from the group, an uneasy feeling settles in the pit of her stomach.
Kat|e: �If they have someone prisoner, I�m all for busting them loose,� she says quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: �If you wish to join me, you may, Katie.� Guardian says as he pauses and looks back.
Kat|e nods and follows Guardian.
Tewyn watches him leave, �And if one of us accidentally dies, then we all die...not worth the risk if you ask me�but oh well,� shrugging.
Claron: �I agree with you there, Kat|e.�
Luna_Faline nods, �Or we could be walking right past our target, Bronze could be over there.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You really think he�d be that easy to find?� Eclipse looks at Luna skeptically.
Luna_Faline shrugs again, �Stranger things have happened,� I mumble.
^Shinta sighs, �Guess not as pressing as we were lead to believe.� Walks away from the others.
Kat|e shakes off her pensiveness and comes fully charged, a familiar glint in her eye.
Vin_Da_DM: �Dull and annoying. At least you have the enjoyment of a kill to you,� Black Inferno scoffs before shouldering his sword and continuing on.
^Lilly^: Putting my daggers away, �Maybe so, but you still didn�t answer my question��
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech looks at the group, �So you are splitting up?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Clarissa, then back, �Well, I�ll go along with freeing a prisoner, but that�s just me.�
Luna_Faline sighs, �It looks that way, doesn�t it?� Looking at the group wandering off in other directions.
Clarice watches but remains next to Tewyn..
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian turns looking towards the rock, �They are moving...seems they�ve spotted us.�
Kat|e: �Bollocks.�
Clarissa: �Maybe its because we know what its like to be one.�
Tewyn just smirks walking away, �Figures.�
Clarice shakes her head then turns to follow Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: A small wave of the horned demons pour out over the rock and rush at the group, some on two legs while others on all fours.
Luna_Faline grumbles to myself under my breath, �One scout that couldn�t be seen or smelled was all it would have taken, but noooooooo,� drawing my sai as I look at the horde coming at us.
Claron looks at Tabris, �We should stick together,� starting to move towards the direction of the twins.
Kat|e pulls out her pistol with a crazy grin.
Vin_Da_DM: Twirling his axe the Guardian jumps over the first few demons in the wave and lands in front of more and attacks them.
^Shinta turns to Skellech, �I suppose your going to sit and fight with them also?�
Kat|e: �Hello, boys.�
Vin_Da_DM: Watching the demons Skellech hoists his hammer up, �I trust in their fighting skills. If you wish to continue I can lead on.�
^Shinta: �Well, that was the point�so I thought.�
^Lilly^: Watching Black Inferno a bit more, �What alliance were you talking about?�
Clarissa sees the horned demons rush towards them and draws Durandal�s knife.
Vin_Da_DM: �So your mind was errant when we struck this deal?� Black Inferno sighs heavily, �You Warriors help me and I remove the spell. A good enough alliance for the task.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over at Clarissa, �I�ll get the two on the right, you get the left.�
^Lilly^: �I wasn�t sure that�s the alliance you were referring to�was only asking,� under my breath, �Forgive me.�
Luna_Faline looks at the blood stone on the hilt thinking, �I don�t want to kill everyone around� just the demons.�
Tewyn walks up to Shinta and Skellech, �Just lead on�if they die its useless anyway, so might as well keep going.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse impales a demon jumping at Luna, then kicks it off his blade and swings at the others.
Clarissa nods her head then dashes quickly towards the left slicing as she does.
Kat|e begins shooting, whooping loudly.
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech shakes his head as he walks on, �You lack faith in them to say such things.�
Claron starts manipulating the gravity of the demons in front of the group.
Tewyn: �Just saying, some get distracted from the task at hand way too easily...isn�t what we came to do.�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie�s bullets down several demons, but as their numbers decrease more climb over the rock to replace them.
Luna_Faline moves back as Eclipse jumps forward, I watch the other ones.
Vin_Da_DM: �Perhaps not...but the gods direct us in ways we are supposed to go,� Skellech comments.
Tewyn: �We were given a direction, they chose to go off road.� Starts walking.
Vin_Da_DM: The demons affected by Claron begin to struggle and howl. Taking advantage of this, Tabris cuts and slices those effected, �Love your work, dear.�
Clarice listens to Tewyn and Skellech�s conversation, then whispers, �Seems to be an unending supply of gods.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers in between the demon, stabbing at them with his dagger as he does.
Luna_Faline lunges at a demon that gets too close and drives the sai into his chest and pulls it out just as fast.
Vin_Da_DM: With a few giant swings the Guardian clears some of the demons away.
^Lilly^: Moving back next to Inferno, �So where exactly are you and I heading?...Since we apparently have a different direction then my friends.�
Vin_Da_DM: The demon howls as Luna�s sai hit causes him to be slowly vaporized by a white glow.
Kat|e: �What clown car are they crawling out of, anyhow?� She grunts.
^Shinta nods and walks off, �For once, I have to agree with the gray one.�
Vin_Da_DM: �We are all heading to the same place, girl. Simply taking a different route,� Inferno says as he climbs onto a boulder that lays at the edge of a large rocky hill.
Luna_Faline watches the demon vaporize, �Cooooool,� looking for another one to vaporize.
^Lilly^: Rolling my eyes, �I�ve told you once and I�ll tell you again. I have a name. It�s Lilly and I would greatly appreciate it if you use it when you talk to me. Since we are bound to be on the same team for a while.�
Vin_Da_DM: As the demons thin out again, the remaining living ones scatter into the rocky wastelands, howling as they do. The Guardian looks ahead towards the rocks, �Looks like only the humanoid life sign and two of these creatures at the camp.�
Vin_Da_DM: Making his way up the hill Inferno scans the view to the sides, �You would �appreciate� it, would you? If you earn it, girl�I just might.�
Tabris: �Let�s go see who our mystery guest is then...ugh...demon guts,� Tabris wipes his obsidian blades off on one of the bodies.
^Lilly^: �Earn it?�
Luna_Faline sighs and moves toward the rock where the demons were coming from. �Yes, let�s see who is there, we�ve come this far.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, not as life-threatening as you thought, Luna.� Eclipse eyes her sai.
Claron follows Tabris after looking to see where her children are.
^Lilly^: �Why should I have to earn it?�
Kat|e: �Agreed.� She steps gingerly through the bodies.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder pushes a demon corpse off his foot, then brushes his pants, �Damn...so much for having clean clothes.�
Luna_Faline looks down at it, then back to Eclipse, �I suppose.�
Clarissa smiles, her voice resonating in Claron�s mind, ~Don�t worry, Mom�we are right behind you.~
Vin_Da_DM: In a small area within the rocks are two demons circling a tall robed man in a simplistic cage. They snort at him with fanged grins.
Clarice: �You sure you know where we are going?� calls out to Skellech.
Kat|e: �Well, well. What have we here?� She murmurs softly.
Ist sits and meditates in the cage.
Vin_Da_DM: �You wish to find the temple beyond the evil ones� lands where the dark god was banished to,� Skellech points ahead to several rocky hills, �Beyond those and a short distance through a section of the Spear Sand is where we shall go.�
Claron sees the caged figure then turns her attention to the two demons.
Luna_Faline creeps over the rocks to check out the scene.
Vin_Da_DM: Noticing you finally, the two demons look at each other, then charge at you.
^Lilly^: Rolling my eyes, �Fine, don�t talk to me.�
^Shinta: �No need in waiting, our other guide isn�t bothering to,� walks in the direction pointed.
Clarice turns her gaze towards the direction Skellech points to. �Anymore unexpected happenings that we might encounter?�
Vin_Da_DM: �You say a lot for having nothing worth hearing, girl.� Inferno says as he reaches the top of the hill and nods, �Closer now.�
Claron instantly manipulates the two demons gravity.
^Lilly^ moving even closer, �Yeah�well, who cares what you think...you�re still the enemy.�

Vin_Da_DM: �Beyond the evil ones, I do not know. None of my kind have ventured that far before.� Skellech eyes the sky.
Luna_Faline studies the man in the cage as Claron takes care of the demons.
Vin_Da_DM: The demons warp and twist with Claron�s power before falling against the rocks, quite dead and quite deformed.
Ist says, �Bring me my sword,� to the feline studying him.
Clarice: �Never...ever?�
Tabris: Tilting his head Tabris looks at the demons using his fingers as a frame, �Hmm...modern art. A bit grotesque though...might sell.�
Kat|e giggles at Tab.
Luna_Faline raises a brow at the man as I slowly move toward the cage, �I�m not sure about that yet, who are you?�
Ist opens his eyes and stands.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...none that ever returned. Though I have faith in you young ones, that you will survive.� Skellech says to Clarice, trying to comfort her.
Ist: �I am Ist.�
Ist: �And you are?�
Kat|e: �I wouldn�t buy it. Looks too much like someone�s regurgitated lunch.�
Claron shakes her head feeling somewhat taxed, �Been awhile since I managed to do that,� looking at the two demon sculptures.
Kat|e stares at the cage bars, bending them outward and making an opening.
Luna_Faline stands in front of the cage and drops my hood down, �I am Luna Faline, avatar of the Moon Goddess Selenia.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse picks up Ist�s apparent sword and looks at Luna, �I�m guessing this is yours.�
Ist slips out and bows to Kat|e, �Thank you, lady.�
Ist: �Goddess? Well, well,� bows.
Ist: �Thank you for your help,� walks over and eyes my sword, then looks it over.�
Luna_Faline bows my head briefly in return, �What kind of name is Ist? Who are you?�
^Lilly^: Looking out, following Inferno�s gaze, �Just because of all that, doesn�t mean you have to be silent�I�m sure there is something you can talk about.��
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian eyes Ist for a moment, then glances around the wasteland, �He�ll come with us, and we should leave. I�m already detecting large numbers returning to this location.
Claron tries not to laugh as she hears Ist goddess-ize Luna_Faline.
Kat|e nods, �It�s what I do.�
Ist: �Ist my name,� smiles.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse wearily hands Ist his sword then steps back giving the Guardian a nod.
Kat|e nods again, �Let�s get the hell out of here.� She turns to go.
Luna_Faline rolls my eyes and turns back to Guardian, �I agree, let�s go,� raising my hood again over my ears.
Ist says a prayer over the sword. Takes a cloth out, wipes it clean then re-sheaths it.
Claron hears the Guardian, �Then we best move along quickly. So lead the way.�
Ist: �Where are you off to?�
Vin_Da_DM: �If you really wish to chat, we can talk about the potential dangers in that small sliver of sand up ahead,� Black Inferno slides down the hill, �Sand wyrms, among other things I�d guess.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian hops over the rocks and heads off after Skellech and those with him.
^Lilly: Grinning, �Arrows work well for that��
Tabris: �It�s a long story and I�m a bad storyteller,� Tabris looks at Ist, then moves over the rocks.
Luna_Faline follows close behind Guardian making distinctly catlike grumbling noises as I mutter to myself.
Claron and Tabris join their twins in following after the Guardian.
Clarissa hears catlike grumbling.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna with a raised brow, �You all right?�
Ist wonders how Kat|e bent the bars.
Clarissa stumbles briefly, rights herself before continuing after the Guardian.
Luna_Faline: �I�m fine, just...�� takes a deep breath to calm down, �Can�t believe how self centered some can be.�
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech glances over his shoulder as he begins to climb the base of one of the hills, �Ahh, your friends return.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~ Hmm...never seen you stumble randomly like that. You okay?~ Stryder looks at Clarissa slightly concerned.
^Lilly^: Pulling out my bow and an arrow, �Would you like me to start shooting or are you just going to stand there and watch?�
Ist: �Thank you all for freeing me those things that caught me were not happy. I killed several of there kind.�
Clarissa glances over at Stryder, ~I tripped on something...~
Kat|e: �Well, they don�t look like they are the �happy� type anyway,� she says absently, her mind on catching up with their guide.
Vin_Da_DM: �Enjoy the view while it lasts, girl,� Black Inferno points ahead as he and Lilly approach the edge of the small sea of sand. Through the swirling sand in the air Lilly catches a glimpse of the massive temple beyond.
^Lilly^: Looking behind her, �I hope the others make it here quickly.�
Clarissa cringes for a second.
Vin_Da_DM: ~You sure?~ Stryder studies his sister for a moment.
Luna_Faline realizes I�m holding the sai very tightly and slips it back into the sheath on my thigh as I try to let go of my frustration.
Clarissa: ~Of course, I am sure...~
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian and the others catch up with Skellech and those with him as they clear the large hill.
Ist follows.
^Lilly^ moves ahead of Inferno walking cautiously.
Vin_Da_DM: Skellech points ahead toward the sea of sand, noticing Black Inferno and Lilly he nods, �Beyond there is the temple...and it looks like your friends are waiting.�
Vin_Da_DM: Inferno watches Lilly as she moves ahead, �Step carefully. I�d hate to as simple a thing as quicksand do away with you.�
^Lilly^: Turning to Inferno, �Do I detect a tone of concern and caring in your voice?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Perhaps I merely wish to see you live long enough to kill you myself,� Inferno smirks, �And you have your uses.�
^Lilly^: Shaking my head, �Figures...but you can�t hide what you really feel. I know there is a deeper softer side to you��
^Lilly^: Moving back to Inferno, �Besides, tell me what uses do I serve to you?�
Luna_Faline walks a bit slower as we catch up to the others, crossing my arms and tucking my paws into my sleeves.
Claron sees the temple ahead of them as she moves closer to Tabris.
^Lilly: Crossing my arms, �Are you gonna answer me?�
Vin_Da_DM: �If you do not know what your skills are, then perhaps you are truly worthless�� Inferno shakes his head at Lilly.
Clarissa�s heart races as she feels Black Inferno closeness more intensely.
^Lilly^ glares, �Why must you act like this? All if did was ask a simple question and you make it out to be like I don�t know anything,� scoffs, �I only was curious as to WHICH skills you preferred��
Ist looks the skulls over.
Vin_Da_DM: As you start your way into the small sea of sand that stands between you and the temple, you hear a noise in the blowing sand around you. In a powerful gust of wind the sand separates giving you a definitive and clear view of the ruined temple.
Vin_Da_DM: On top of a ruined section of column high in the temple ruins, Cara and Kabal look down at the Warriors approaching. Kabal nods to Cara, �As expected Inferno brought them here.�
Vin_Da_DM: Cara grins as she watches a purple flare circle her hand, �Not to worry, Brother. We shall dispose of them first, then deal with that traitor Bronze.� Kabal narrows his gaze as he watches Tewyn, �Father or not, he will pay for what he did��
